Aristocrat Off-Track:

Youta received word from Sebastian about a mission that he was going to leave to Regis,Fu, and Youta.  Zeref is away on a mission helping a friend and he had a lot of paperwork and other stuff as a new chunin he had to take care of.  Youta would prepare his things and get ready to go on this mission with the rest of his team.  He was super nervous because he is not a real leader but he would prepare himself a to go bag with stuff in it so he could make it to the border and back. He would walk to the gate and wait for Fu and Regis to get there so he could explain to them what is going on and what they would be expected to do.

Jun had been given orders from Loghain Sensei of a mission they were supposed to do today. It was a simple search and rescue mission. Youta, Jun, and Regis were all assigned to this mission as a part of team spring. They wanted to send a genin squad in because there was potential for Jaws of Grima interference. 

The royal in question was the daughter of one of the dukes in Hoshi. She and her retinue were coming back from a short vacation to a nice relaxation spa in the land of earth. The Princess was named Kozuki Akari and she was 16 with the characteristical Akari look of long blonde hair and fair skin. 

The young genin knew a bit about the Jaws of Grima group. They were a notorious missing ninja group that caused trouble around Hoshigakure. Most of them were just simple thugs that weren't much danger, but the leaders tended to be high-level shinobi threats that caused a lot of deaths over the last years to shinobi. Jun was a bit nervous to be taking on a mission like this without having a higher-level shinobi to lead the mission. The Varma Clan member would meditate for quite a while before leaving the house, attempting to gain peace with her spirit before heading out. 

She would meet up at the gates with Regis and Youta. "Alright, let's go save a princess!" Jun would pump her fists in the air to create some positive energy. She would need every bit of it.

Regis ran to meet this new teammates again, but this time he and them would be going out on a mission to bring back some royal figure. He was also told there might be some cultists about trying to kill off this figure. It was exciting no doubt. he would run to the gates and see the two he would be doing this with. "Hello guys! I got some sandwiches for us incase we need something to eat while we are out." he would smile and look at them, he wore his normal gear and he only had a training sword on him as a weapon. He also carried a backpack that he had some food, some water for them and a change of clothes incase he got his current ones ripped up. He figured there might be some fighting or running so he had his spare gear incase he needed it at one point. "oh uh also feel free to order me around, i dont really know what to do and i am kinda nervous so if you can take the lead it would help me out a lot heh" He would say with a nervous smile about it.

Soon after Youta reached the gate Jun and Regis would arrive all prepared and ready to go to the borders to try to find this lost royal. They would arrive and Youta would say “good morning guys we need to get a move on if we are lucky we might be able to make it by lunch but we should definitely keep an eye out for some of the bandits. So our goal is to find this princess and bring her back safely. We do not know if she has been taken or not. But odds are not in her favor because she had to choose the path that would cross the Jaws of Grima. Alright we should head out watch each other’s back out there.” He would then take off hoping they would follow Youta. They would be traveling for a while jumping from limb to limb.

On the way Youta would read more about the royal that they were looking. She was some young blonde daughter of duke. Youta did not know much of the royalty or how they functioned in Haven or in the world all he knew about was the Kage and knew about the palace but never saw the queen or anything like that. He would look for a name so if they found her they could confirm who she was. Her name was Kozuki Akari so he had to memorize that.

After a few hours they were maybe still about an hour from the spa she was staying at when all of a sudden a very ornate palanquin was there. It was obviously that of a royals. He held up his hand to get the others to stop. Youta would activate his Meigan and look around and see that there were no survivors because there was no chakra flow in the bodies that were scattered around. He would say “Alright guys look around for a trail and let’s try to locate this princess. I will use my dojutsu and keep an eye out, let me know what you find. Remember to still be aware of your surroundings but I will be able to see their chakra so I will focus on defense and you guys focus on clues. But please try to be respectful of the dead though after we find a trail we can bury them but finding the princess is priority number 1.”

Regis would be the last to come to the gates, but his lateness would be forgiven easily by being the only sensible person to pack everyone a sandwich. "Oh my god, I love you so much. Thank you!" Jun would take one of the sandwiches to form Regis. Peanut butter and jelly sandwich, Jun's favorite. With that, Team Spring would hit the road in search of this lost princess. This would be Regis and Jun's first mission ever and team spring's first mission together. They had no idea what they were about to get into. 

Jun had already eaten her sandwich while on the most likely pathway to the spa that the royal caravan would have taken. The pathway was mostly rock formations common to the land of Earth's location. About an hour away from the spa, they had reached a horrifying setting. The area was level and small patches of grass were on the side of the route. There were dead bodies of both guards and bandits littering the ground with stained weapons and clothes. Off the path was the palanquin that the royals had used to transport the princess. The wood was splintered and the once colorful colors that showed the royal's wealth was torn and tattered. There was blood on it as well. However, amongst the bodies was no Akari princess. "They must've gotten to her," Jun said. Sadness claimed her tone. They had arrived too late to be able to help them. Youta instructed the group to look around for clues. Jun wasn't sure if she wanted to find clues. Imagining the dead girl was hard enough for Jun to do. Was this really what Shinobi had to do every day?

Jun went over to the broken palanquin and took a moment of mindfulness that she was taught to do so that her anxiety wouldn't consume her. She took some deep breaths and closed her eyes. After a moment, her mind was clear enough for Jun to open back up. As soon as she did, she noticed something about the pathway. There was a handprint on the detached door handle that was bloody and dirty. It seemed the handle was used to rip off the entrance. On the inside, there were signs of struggle but no blood on the inside. It was possible that they had taken her without killing her, at least not here. She looked around the site some more. Behind a stone nearby was a kunai that had been dropped. Nearby that rock was a set of footprints with small droplets of blood. "Over here! I think I found the directions they may have escaped." The footprints when towards the direction of a large earth formation, a very likely place for some bandits to make camp at.

Regis Followed everyone as he looked around thinking to himself. He didnt really know how to handle this since he was not use to doing missions with life or death. But he saw the blood around the place and followed jun, he figured what must have happened was one of them got injured by the princess and they dragged her off otherwise. Now they found the camp of the bandits that attacked. Regis looked around the left over camp but it seemed they left in a hurry, so he would shrug. He didnt have any kind of jutsu that would help find someone so he would walk around what looked like a path they taken, Broken branches and plants bent led regis northward from the camp. "Hey guys." he would say as he walked down the trail for the other two to follow him. after a couple of minuets of walking he heard some voices. He would slowly walk forward as he was crouched down. Soon he saw the bandits, one bleeding, and some guys in robes, from the jist of the situation he could hear them arguing. Seemed like from what regis could hear the bandits wanted more pay for one of them getting injured and the robbed guys didnt want to pay more. Regis thought for a moment and looked at his team mates. "What if we just run in and grab her?" he whispered. He doubt they could keep up with them and even if they tried he figured her could carry the princess out and run as the other two dealt with them. He would wait only a couple of moments and then made his move. He ran out of the bushes, looked at the two groups and said, "Huh this must be the wrong forget kidnapping trade, i was suppose to be with the guys that kidnapped a prince." He then would run to grab the princess. which wasnt a great idea as the two groups would try to stop him. Trying to grab him or push him down. Regis would back up and look around a bit. He then would look to the west and look at the groups. "Well least my friends should be down here, HEY GUYS!" he would yell and run eastward  trying to act like his team arent nearby, some of them would chase regis and try to make him stop yelling. This didnt go the way regis wanted but he figured the others could finish as he dragged off most of them to chasing him as he just ran towards hoshi again now. 

Its been an hour or soon till he would reach hoshi, he lost the bandits and robbed men a long time again now, all he needed to do now was wait for his teammates and the princess. He knew they could finish it but he wanted to wait for them to come so he knew for sure. He crused not really knowing how to fight nd only having a training sword but at least he was a good distraction.

Youta would follow his teammates and activating his meigan.  He would look inside and see a large number of bandits. “Regis, Regis,” but before he could say anything Regis would yell at the bandits and they would all follow out chasing him.  Youta thought I am sure he will be fine.  Youta would sneak around and throw 2 kunai, killing the last of the guards guarding their kidnapped victim.  He would scoop her up and with Jun already running back meet up with Regis at the gate.  “That was quite reckless, Regis good job losing them though. Next time let’s come up with a plan though. Just to be safe.”

Ok all, so here's the deal:

This mission was originally a legacy mission. After talking with Rebel we determined that the legacy mission was revamped in the new mission guidelines to a new mission, Aristocrat Off Track. Rebel has edited the original post and his mission rewards to fit the new system.

Legacy missions are only meant to serve as a guide for players to make into the new mission format and are not available to be completed. In the future, please select missions found within the V7 Mission directory and not through the legacy system. I understand that it can be confusing, however it is clearly stated that legacy missions cannot be completed, so this is your one warning. Completing a legacy mission in the future may result in the mission being denied.
