Suimin Recovery

The boy began to speak further in depth on the details of his mission to both Ichigo and Enyo. Little credit going to the woman for her harsh influence to loosen the lips of the timid Genin. Because of this, they had a better understanding of what took place. This information made a bit more sense to the woman, Sumin was attacked while on his mission. That didn’t make him a failure at all, he was ambushed. The odds could have been in anyone’s favor. This made her feel a sense of embarrassment from what she said earlier about him being a disgrace. She would not part her lips to apologize, despite what she and Ichigo just learned. A failure is still a failure on a mission, this just mean he wasn’t as weak as she first believed him to be. 

Now there was a bigger, more prominent concern... was this some sort of strike on Kumogakure, or was this a stroke of poor coincidence? Sumin was fortunate enough to leave with his legs only punctured, but still, he should not have been attacked in the first place. The possibilities of exactly what could have been the cause were running through her head. It must have been clearly written on her aura for it was then that Ichigo requested for her to come over and observe him work. As she approached she noticed the seals that he used while listening Ichigo. Ichigo spoke wise words as his finger tips manifested flames of azure before jabbing them into chest of the boy. “You truly believe someone like me could benefit from knowing such a delicate technique? Dr. Sato, you place too much consideration into my character...” It was at that moment that she considered it herself. He made a good point and this could help those of the village should he not be near to do so. She was sure that it wasn’t as complicated as she would have originally thought it to be, or he wouldn’t be aiming to teach it to her. “Very well, I’ll indulge you on this. But only because I fear of what shenanigans you will find yourself ensnared in when you’re really needed.” 

Her eye found Sumin and his wounds, this technique was seemingly suppose to prevent the boy from feeling pain...pain? She raised a subtle brow. After some time the Drunkard would form another set of seals and his hands glowed a green hue. This looked a bit too complex for Enyo to follow, so she wouldn’t dare try. But with some time, he managed to heal the wounds of the boy’s legs. Enyo glanced over at him with an impressed expression. She would think that he was well deserving of his title and his hospital. This was the first time that she witnessed him taking his job seriously, while wearing a smile of comfort. 

The woman would also walk away from the boy to give him his space and process what she just saw. She would away for him to speak in response to what Ichigo said to him. 


It would seem that he was quite fine, so she would watch over him until he was ready to leave.

Going by the words of the young man it appeared the procedure was a success. Ichigo wasn't sure if he could send Suimin home after undergoing surgery only a few minutes ago but he figured the Genin was old enough to make those decisions himself. Worst case he'd only feel a little bit drowzy or sleepy, so not anything to worry about. And so the Drunk watched his patient leave, probably heading home to rest after quite the eventful day where he experienced less pleasant things and went from one emotion to the other. For now Ichigo simply returned to his desk, writing down and taking some notes about what happened today.
