Devilish Damnation of Delights[Yuri/Makoto/Shunro]

As the other three talked and discussed strategy at the bottom of the first slope, discussing who they were and their capabilities. Shunro looked across from the top of the hill. Saw the iced over stairs that would probably be watched... And decided he had a more fun plan. A few hand seals and he was a penguin. He waddled up to the top of the first hill.

While Makoto was internally debating on clocking Kaneki over the head a black blur shoots past them and over the lip of the second hill

"YAHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

A shout of glee coms from the air in front of them. A penguin flying through the air before in a puff of smoke it reveals itself to be their teammate. Nine whirs of white follow his descent while a tenth shoots through a glass window of the factory before the wall blasts open with an explosive fireball, The brick and mortar walls and chimney cracking and crumbling over their own weight outwards towards the guards. Scrambling pointy eared workers running away from the commotion and danger.
The guards are shell shocked, shouting, explosions, orders, comrades fallen to the floor with shuriken in their chests. Its all a blur as they scramble for weapons to attack the new intruder. Who meanwhile is having the time of his life.
It was SO much more fun going in loud. The smell of smoke, the flash of fire, The sound of explosions rang out like music to his ears, deafening, wonderful, and incredibly good at making sure he did not pay attention to the MASS of guards waiting for him to drop out of the air.

"No." 

It was basically child's.plau to grab Shunro after they'd become a penguin. Stopping mid sentence to usher that simple no as she sees them trying to waffle away. In a flash of motion as she goes from a laying position to racing at him, she grabs the penguin a few meters away from her and nestled him under the crook of her arm. Taking advantage of her massively stronger body to keep him subdued before continuing to speak. 

"Anyways ignoring that attempt to just run in without thinking, seeing as the best person at fighting is me, followed by Makoto, and I don't feel comfortable just jumping onto this without any advantages, I say we strike a short camp. With the way this slope is we can dig in a bit and have a wind break and just wait for a snow storm, then we can move when the visibility drops. Sound like a plan?" 

Squeezing Shunro slightly if she'd grabbed him. Maybe he was better like this actually. Light, easy to carry, and easy enough to keep him from getting into trouble. If only she had some kind of dimensional space she could store him in and it'd get even better. Regardless, if everyone was on board it'd be short work of digging a small alcove for them to sit in and wait out the weather, either tightly holding on to Shunro or freeing them if they decide to behave and avoid wandering off. 


For Yuri the entire thing was a joy. Digging through the snow, in the ice cold, under the moonlight, waiting for a snowstorm to hit. In the end she still wished she could've made it home and visited her dad, but honestly with as things stood now her birthday would probably pass, and he'd still be as far away as ever. With her eyes to the stars it was something she just had to make piece with. So the only thing she could do was stay firm in her task, and once it was complete she would sit and waith with the rest of them. Patiently awaiting the advent of the snowstorm that would bring their opportunity to complete the first part of this mission.

"Awwww! Seriously?? Pshh.. You three are no fun!"

Despite his abrupt end to the plan Shunro stayed as a penguin happily under her arm. Always one to go along with whatever happens. Plus! On the bright side he got some much needed extra warmth and rest. Buuut he didn't want to be totally useless to the group. Once he saw them beginning to make the little alcove he'd dismiss his transformation technique, saying something about he was happy his team mates had such fast reflexes and how He wants to help make the house pretty.

Regardless if he got to do his plan of explosions or not however he'd still be busy creating his own enjoyment on the mission. While making room in the snow for the three of them he'd take the time to make another explosive seal and stashing it away into his sleeves. Even if he didn't REALLY get to do much with them just the possibility of getting to was an enjoyable thought to the little pyro and or maniac.

However waiting so long on the moon to rise did get boring fast. Soooo with nothing to read shunro was quick on making more entertainment. Little snowmen. Using paper press to make little accessories for them. A hat here, an oragami parrot there. A little cane and scarf for another. He'd offer the paper to the others if they wanted to join in making their own little guys. Was it childish? Mmmmmaybe. But it was the holidays. And with nothing else to do why not find some enjoyment for yourself?

"If you try to sabotage the mission again I will be forced to anesthetize you." Makoto politely tells the penguin as she helps build up the snow alcove. "Seeing as I only brought paralyzing toxins to this mission, I would have to do this by force. Thankfully- Oooh are those origami men?"

Makoto is delighted to help out with the manual labor, feeling a strange sense of nostalgia well up in her. Really, this ought to not be how she faced a mission, but... Well, it felt suprisingly comfortable to spend some time doing this sort of thing with people. Or maybe she was just always starved for company. Taking some handwarmers from Kaneki, she adds a few small, spiralling centipede designs to the inside of the walls with practiced care.

"You've gotten better at that"

She chuckles, nodding, not speaking out loud with her god in this enclosed a space but glowing at the quiet praise.

"Well, thankfully I did bring some warm food for everyone, so!" Makoto brings sandwiches out of her bag. "Before we freeze over, we might as well share."

"Ah, the quickest way to a ninja's heart- their stomach."
It was going to be a long wait, but Makoto hardly minded. After all, it was for the benefit of the mission, and she always had ways to entertain herself- not to mention learning origami was something she was vaguely interested in before, so of course she gets to it with Shunro while keeping an eye out occasionally.

Yuri lets out a tired sigh as she sits against one of the walls of the alcove. Still a tad melancholic as she waits for time to pass. Maybe it would make her come off as a stick on the mud, but really she was just feeling more worn down than anything. She could almost let herself fall asleep as she felt the time pass. The slight whispers of wind growing louder and louder as her compatriots wiled away the time in their own way. Eventually when the winds became a roar she finally opens her eyes. 


Peering outside the inky black of the sky and the pale white specs of the stars would be hidden beneath the thick whites and blues of the curling winds and swirling snows. The temperature dropping to levels that would quickly work to being lethal for the more frail. They were, hopefully, tougher stuff though. So once the visibility was at its poorest Yuri would tell the rest it we time to break camp. Getting to her feet as she starts talking. If they hurries they could get all the missions done in this one golden opportunity. 

"Alright, just follow behind me and I'll walk us through the storm. Just make sure to stay really close. The visibility is awful and if you get lost it's not hard to vanish into the storm. I remember all the stories I heard of people disappearing in snowstorms wandering in circles, and then dying. Anyways, let's get this over with okay? Shunro you'll be putting explosive seals on the building once we get there, then we can just leave and have you detonate them. That should handle it." 

If everyone understood the idea Yuri would guide them out into the storm. Using her sense for their chakra signatures to make sure no one wandered off. The wind was deafening, and the cold bit like wolves, not to mention the fact it was near impossible to see more than a meter in front of you, but as long as no one did anything reckless it wouldn't be too hard for Yuri to keep her wits about her and guide them to the bakery and its walls of deep brown and bright green. It had a festive look, a shame they had to blow it up. Though now it was Shunro's turn.

Shunro was more than happy for the opportunity to share and eat good food together. Offering a thermos of hot tea to anyone that needed a bit of warmth inside during the time. It was a happy time, an enjoyable time, a holiday time. Sharing warmth during the frigid evening turning to night. However as the moon rose in the sky and the stars began to shine against the black backdrop of the sky the team knew it was soon time.

Even with the wind turned from calm to cold to freezing the cheery and chipper exterior of Shunro mostly stayed around. A bit more quiet as his lips grew hard with the freezing wind but a makeshift mask kept himself smiling with his eyes. Especially when the de facto leader of the group in Yuri let him know of his part of the operation, a smile coming to his eyes as he gave a gloved thumbs up and they began to head out.

Shunro would unfurl the seals kept inside his sleeves, made in the long hours since they had began the expedition. As they arrived to the green and brown decorated buildings, hidden by the cover of the blizzard, Shunro followed Yuri to the corners of the building. Sticking the seals to the large wooden supports. It would be quick work with Shunros penchant for explosives. Occasionally a seal would blow away in the wind and Shunro would have to run through the seals to put the explosive directly onto the surface of the building with the inscription appearing in a spreading of ink. He would say he felt a bit bad about it, buuuuut that'd be a lie. The workers were all safe in their homes and it was an opprotunity he rarely got to have guilt free.

Afterwards, as they headed off to their next mission, something about a star. Now, all that was left was the signal~

"...So, uhm... explosives in presents, poison in candy, who does these things?" Makoto whispers to the others as the flames die down. "Not that I doubt humanity's capacity for cruelty, but aiming explosives and poison at children seems..."

She pauses, thinking. "I don't know. It feels like something someone would come up with as the villain of some weird story. Who the hell could hate children that much?"

"The clan elders" supplies Yul, forcing her to internally concede the point. But even the clan elders wouldn't do something this deranged.

"...Maybe I'm overthinking it, honestly."

Supposedly, nobody was at the factory they were going to be sabotaging, but Makoto knows the ninja life well enough that 'nobody' means, of course, 'an unspecified number of enemy ninja preparing to ambush you and kill you'. Therefore, one should prepare accordingly. Crossing her arms, she gets to "strategizing"

"But it is kind of suspicious that, on such a short deadline to when presents would be delivered, there's nobody at the factory. So obviously it's a trap and maybe we should, I don't know- Roll a boulder covered in explosive tags into it, or suchlike, just to make absolutely sure. You know, if Shunro still has some on him. Failing that, well. I suppose we'll have to do it the hard way."

"Do I like explosives too much? They kind of solved the last issue very well, so it's only natural, I reckon, since we've got an expert on hand and we're essentially doing demolition work and I don't feel too confident fighting possible enemy ninja inside a building I don't have the plans of.,"

It was surprisingly easy to guide Shunro to both the Bakery and the Factory. Well placed explosive seals and the entire thing would go up in a chain of concussive explosions. One after another, not large on their own but in key points it was no small issue to make the buildings collapse in on themselves and ruin anything inside. The storm, a wonderful way to escape. It did become a small issue though when there was still one mission left and the storm entirely disappeared. They'd long since left the scene of their former two crimes, but no came the issue of the star theft. 


Yuri decides, since they were sti in a remote area, in the outskirts of the location where the festival was taking place, and with a bit of time on their hands, they could stop, strike camp, and talk about the next part of the plan. For a vague definition of plan considering most of what they'd done that night was wander around in the snow and blow up buildings. There was no making a little cove to hide in but with the weather improved it wasn't like there was a need as far as Yuri was concerned. If everyone was up for it, there'd be another chance to relax. Yuri setting up a campfire  for the group to sit around as they take a moment to rest after all the walking. 


No seats though, their butts would have to make do with the snow unless they could work something out. 

"So. How about we split up this time actually? I'm pretty sure the star is gonna be well guarded considering what the letter said and honestly I don't think any of us could sneak up a tree as a group of four. I can probably go for the star though if I'm by myself and a distraction would help me out alot."
