A Chance Meeting

A joyous sound of laughter like bells echoing off sheets of ice or glass; heartwarming yet eerie in the same breath. Nonetheless, it was all a welcomed sound. Comforting, almost. Emphasis on almost. There was still something more behind it, not necessarily malicious...but almost, hauntingly familiar? Had he heard it before? There was no possible way. The kunoichi had never been seen prior to this encounter, so that couldn't be true. Either way, as she spoke about not following through with the bet, young Roki graciously bowed his head out of respect. "If you say so." It was at this point, the teen had begun to grab his cloak, and wrap it around himself again. The cold was absolutely detestable, so the warmth of which was quite necessary to remain comfortable.

Then she had begun to continue about a question which was asked previously, which had made his head snap to attention. She was from...Kumo!? What!? This couldn't be. Any Kumo nin would be sporting their headband, regardless of if they left or not. Unless...there was a sneaky suspicion slithering it's way into the salt and peppered hair genin's brain, one that he wasn't really liking the thought of. An eyebrow was raised visibly this time around. Peaked curiosity was looming in the gaze of the sky blue eyes. "Wandering as in sightseeing?" The tone in his voice was still light, not meaning to interrogate. Merely pose a follow up question. To finish off of his previous statement the Shimadan survivor, he would finish by saying "But it seems like we hail from the same land." Immediately his hand raised from beneath his newly dawned cloak, gesturing to the headband wrapped around his forehead, which would in turn reveal that he too was from Kumogakure.
