Mission Details:

Jay had just left the village gates leaping from tree to tree in order to travel towards the Land of Water's borders so he can meet up with another duo of Genin in order to help them with their mission and guide them back to the village safely, this was his second mission and it was a B rank which made him happy because they are allowing him to take on higher tier missions by himself which must mean they believe his skills are capable of safely dealing with a B rank mission solo, his shinobi skills had grown considerably since becoming a Genin due to the increased rate of training Jay had been putting himself under in order to get stronger to match or surpass his father's own strength at his age, Jay also recently got his hands on his fathers old shinobi equipment including his custom Tonfa he also spent many days alone out in the wild training to perfect some Jutsu Jay found in his fathers old shinobi journal with some basic instructions.

It was still early morning and foggy out the air was moist as always with the an orange glow that was beginning to light up the sky slowly similarly to his first official mission which was also completed early in the morning, Jay continued leaping through the trees moving as fast as he could without tripping over himself it was important he made it to the meeting point quickly since the duo of Genin had not reported in about their mission yet, he wasn't told the details of their mission so it was unclear exactly what he was walking into although he knew his only goal is making sure it goes off without a hitch, Jay was getting close to the general area in which he was told to meet the other shinobi from his village although searching the area for them could take a while luckily he has a plan to make the task of finding his team easier.

He looked around for a moment taking in the scenery and the environment attempting to work out where he should begin looking for his new partners which seemed weird or off to him at the moment since there was little to no sign of any Hidden Mist shinobi in the area, perhaps he had taken the wrong route to get here Jay was still new to going on solo missions and his mental image of the areas around the village is limited at best compared to other experience Genin and Chunin, the young Yuki pushed forward again leaping from tree to tree hoping the height advantage would allow him to see more although with the dense foliage it seemed like he was actually able to see less than just being on the ground, the forest was also very quiet it didn't seem like there was anyone who was hanging around the area or anyone who had even passed by the animals were extremely active in the area something that would be less likely if the path was well traveled.

Jay stopped on a tree he notice some of the trees has thin slashes in the bark almost as if someone had struck multiple trees with their sword, it was clear something had gone down in the vicinity and this area was where he was supposed to meet with his partners in order to help finish their mission and report back to the village things were now getting worrying, because of his Yuki biology he can sense intense heat signatures that are within 20 meters of him in every direction nothing could be sensed besides small critters that were no help, some footsteps led further away from the village nearing the border when he could hear a loud explosive noise nearby indicating someone was here in trouble or in a fight and he couldn't see or sense them yet.

The noise was to the north so he followed in that direction this time staying on the ground allowing him to see much farther than being in the dense canopy which limits his movement and sight lines, he did not want to be distracted from his mission so he needed to confirm if this was his partners or some other incident revolving Hidden Leaf shinobi and if they are all outsiders they will need to be dealt with quickly before moving on again, Jay used his speed to run out of the tree line keeping out of range of most attacks while scanning the situation to make out any details he could before confronting any of the suspects about the situation. There appeared to be 6 men in total two of those being Hidden Leaf Chunin who were indeed the people Jay was looking for in order to escort them through the rest of their mission and back to the village in order to report the mission details to the higher ups, the other 4 were the suspects who were not wearing any headbands although all 4 of them were wearing all black outfits with mask, both of the Konoha shinobi were injured and still barely on their feet at the moment while only 1 of the enemy were significantly injured to the point where it hindered his performance leaving Jay to fend off the last 3.

" I'm here to help don't worry I'm a leaf shinobi like you " he pointed towards his headband for proof he could be trusted.

" We killed the Jonin level boss with them, but we lost a man we are out of chakra and outnumbered " said the squad leader.

" Go back to back and watch each other while you recover I'll deal with these henchmen "

" Watch out, each of those men are Genin level threats " the second member of the squad let out a few words struggling to get it out between his deep breathes.

Jay turned around pulling both of his Double Killer L's off his back which was a pair of custom Tonfa that was passed down from his father that had the special ability to extend and subtract blades from the hilt of the Tonfa, this allowed the user more versatility because they can still use them as blunt weapons with the addition of a blade that can be used to slash and stab, the young Yuki had yet to extend the blades since it was best to hide them until a situation arises where they become needed in combat but at the moment Jay just wanted to warm up and get a feel for his enemies. The man closest to him ran directly towards Jay who was ready and used his speed to duck the first punch striking the man in the gut with the end of his left Tonfa followed up to the head with his right Tonfa while the man was stunned, this sent him stumbling backwards which gave Jay the chance rush forward attacking the next enemy while his partners attempt to jump the one he had just stunned for them allowing him to contend with fresh opponents, he was forced to stop and leap upwards in order to dodge 3 Kunai which had been thrown at his chest from the front. Landing back on his feet he continued forward blocking the first kick thrown at him along with the next 3 punches which we all straight punches that were easily deflected, all of the sudden and out of no where the last uninjured enemy had launched himself at Jay kicking him in the ribs and sending him flying onto his back, he pushed himself to his feet quickly moving on the attack instantly in order to confuse the opponent and stop their momentum before they really got going, once again he swung both of his Tonfa in quick succession making contact with enemy #2 although they were blocked so the damage was minimal.

A spike of adrenaline would come over the teenager as he sees something in the corner of his eye causing him to react blocking it with his Tonfa and it turned out to be a Kunai that had caused a small slice on his cheek, it was clear to him now that these were men were indeed taught some form of shinobi arts or at least had the equipment of shinobi because normal civilians did not carry and use Kunai, these attackers were also aiming to kill using ninja tools in order to end the fight quickly it might work on tired and injured shinobi like his partners but it wasn't going to work that easy on someone like him who was fresh. Jay looked backwards to see both of his partners standing back to back attempting to fight off the one attacker he had left for them thinking they could handle it, he must have underestimated how tired they really were watching them take a beating in turns something that made Jay's stomach crawl no way was he going to let these bastards ruin his only solo B ranked mission that quickly, he quickly ducked channeling the chakra into his feet in order to leap far upwards kicking one of the men in the chin sending the assailant to the ground flat on his back as Jay landed next the skirmish going down between his partners and the enemy that they continued to battle, there was no longer any need to hold back since it was confirmed these were the 2 shinobi that he was assigned to protect and he did not need to watch how he acted Jay would do anything he could to see the mission through until the end. Right as he landed Jay quickly pulled the pin to both of his Double Killer L's extending the blade out of the hilt near his hand allowing him to stick the blade of the right Tonfa directly into the enemies back as they continued attempting to break his partners guard, that would take care of that and give them some breathing room while he was left to deal with both the enemies left taking no time to breathe or make a game plan with a burst of wind Jay had used his incredible speed to appear next to the enemy he was fighting earlier before he was forced to break off to help his partners, they picked up where they left off Jay now using the blades on both of his Tonfa in order to attack aiming to cut the man wrist forcing him to drop the Kunai although this man was no fool he had clearly used a Kunai in battle before blocking all of Jay's initial barrages.

" Let's see how well you block THIS " Jay raised both his hands in front of his chest and face taking a deep breathe focusing on the Chakra in his stomach like a pool, Tiger > Rat > Boar > Serpent > Monkey > Rat > Dragon he performed the correct series of hand signs watching as some water around them shot up into the air forming itself into many small Senbon looking needles that shot downwards, the man attempted to block them the best he could but with them coming from an 360 degree angle he was unable to do so falling to the ground with fatal injuries taking care of half the enemy team. Continuing on with moment he ran forward again leaping at the last man who was still standing and able to fight kicking him in the ribs which sent him backwards a few moments giving Jay the time to close the distance and begin swinging his Tonfa once again, just like the last one he had fought this man also had a Kunai and was at least decently proficient with using it allowing him to deflect most of his initial attacks, Jay quickly swept the mans leg allowing him to fall on his side and as he did Jay twisted around using all body weight for a downwards strike aiming to overwhelm the man's defenses with pure weight and power although it would not work the man would roll backwards just narrowly escaping the finishing blow. They continued battling both of them running and jumping around the forest clashing with their weapons Jay using his superior speed in order to dance around the man making sure to keep pressure on him forcing him on the defensive, although the Tonfa could be used for defense and they worked well in the roll these particular Tonfa were far better suited for overwhelming offense with multiple ways to attack someone using blunt damage or the sneaky blades, after a few more moments Jay managed to land a devastating kick to the side sending the man flying forward onto his face the young Yuki watched as the man hit the ground and bounced back up to his feet, the man was breathing hard now it seemed his stamina was beginning to give out from the constant battles both before Jay had arrived and now with the one they were currently participating in.

" If you were not so worn out you might have actually given me some trouble, although in your current state I don't see that being the case I think it's time to end this WHOLE SHOW RIGHT NOW " just like earlier he raised both hands to his chest preparing to make a series of hand seals once again focusing on the Chakra in his stomach, he knew he could do this Jutsu again since it was not incredibly straining and he had only performed it once recently, Tiger > Rat > Boar > Serpent > Monkey > Rat > Dragon the mans face turned from confusion to shock as the water began to gather in the air around him forming into water like Senbon that surrounded the man leaving him no where to run, and just like the last enemy he would fall victim to the Thousand Flying Water Needles of Death as the needles pierced his body in dozens of different spots killing him almost instantly. A sigh of relief would wash over Jay as he let out a deep breathe only to feel a sharp pain in his back that was clearly wrong and no supposed to be there, he instantly leapt away landing on his feet but ultimately falling to the ground due to the pain and shock he was feeling it would appear the last enemy who was injured had managed to sneak up on the teenage Yuki to stab him in the back as a last ditch effort, Jay was inexperienced and should never have let his guard down enough that he could be easily sneak attacked like that luckily for Jay his two partners who were also injured were able to step up to protect Jay long enough for him to gather himself mentally breaking out of the shock his body was being put through.

" Never let your guard down while on a mission, even when everything seems quiet you must always be expecting some sort of attack "

The two instantly pushed the last member remaining from the enemy group the two ganged up on him using their combined coordinated attacks to overwhelm him since he was injured anyway and could do little to defend himself, Jay pushing himself back to his feet embarrassed that he allowed someone as weak and injured as that to land a sneak attack on him showed he was overconfident, the teenage Yuki relies far too much on his overwhelming speed which only works when you expect an attack allowing himself to relax when enemies were not in his line of vision, it was a good lesson to learn on a mission like this luckily no one was injured and the mission was still successful so far all they needed to do was make it back to the village in order to report their findings to the village higher ups. Jay walked over to duo which he was sent to escort back to the village he wrapped one of the men's arm around his shoulder using himself to help prop the man up since he was barely able to walk anymore he had used far too much chakra in the battle, after disposing and hiding any evidence they were there they began making their way back to the village at a somewhat slow speed due to all the injures and fatigue that beginning to set in for the group, although Jay still had Chakra to spare his physical body was in somewhat rough shape with many bruises all over his body including the stab wound that was inflicted on him, his physical stamina was also beginning to waiver since he had spent the whole day running at a fast past attempting to catch up to his partners and fighting 3 different opponents did not help even if they had already been in a fight for awhile. It was clear that Jay's stamina was still developing his body was not used to the increased strain being forced upon it with all the new techniques and training the boy was been putting himself through, his training had been going well since his graduation from the Academy his skills were beginning to shine and his dream of becoming a shinobi his father would be proud of was becoming a reality, after about an hour of moving through the forest the group had arrived back at the village they quickly made their way towards the Mizukage office in order report in about the missions success and findings.

" Thank you both for the advice and tips, I look forward to joining you on future missions "

" We should be thanking you, you saved us without you our chakra would of ran out and they would have killed us so thank you for the assistance " the man turned to walk away heading back to where he came from before the mission.

" Remember what I said out there, always be on guard when you are on a mission there can never be even one second of doubt because bad things can happen in an instant as you almost found out today "

Jay nodded his head towards the man, he did not know this person but he would take their advice since their were Chunin who had experienced battle and the scars that shinobi world can leave on those who life within it.
