Who you gonna call? Team Fuku? (Event-Halloween)

It was about six in the morning on this dark and dreary morning. The low rumble of thunder announced the arrival of rain and the coolness in the air announced the arrival of autumn. Kurai started to stir in his room as he got out of bed. Yawning he put on his clothes he had set out for today. Something felt off about the morning, but he couldn't figure out what it was!
Kurai was lucky enough to have some family, other Tau clan members, living in Kiri! They asked him to refer to them as Aunt and Uncle. Kurai had no issue with doing as requested because he was related to them!  
Something was not right with today, he just couldn't figure out what it was but it was a nagging feeling! As he walked past his cousin's room, a toy fell out of the doorway startling Kurai! It was a blue monster with long legs and sharp teeth! His cousin, who was five, was hugging it closely, acting as though she had never seen the toy before…. calling it Huggy Wuggy or something like that! First weird incident of the day.
He walked downstairs announcing he'd be back later and walked out the door to meet up with his team.

Jayden woke up early, which is abnormal for Jayden considering he likes to sleep! Immediately as he sat up he knew something was off. He got dressed and went downstairs. His brother Jeordie was at the table which was packed full of different foods. This was out of the ordinary, considering his mom just usually made eggs and bacon for breakfast, but the table had biscuits, toast, eggs , bacon, pancakes, waffles…you get the point.
"Good morning Jayden, let's go practice together and spend some quality brother time together!" Jeordie said with a smile.
Now, Jeordie and Jayden have had major sibling rivalry off and on for years, and no way in hell was Jeordie EVER this nice! Something was definitely wrong! Jayden grabbed a piece of toast and three pieces of bacon then ran out the door to meet up with his team mates! Hopefully this was just one incident.

Zim had woken up a little earlier than the rest of his teammates. He was drinking a cup of tea, some kind of herbal hippie brew his mother made, as his mom dreaded his hair for him. As he took a sip of tea he saw a bird flying upside and backwards! He stared at the bird as his mom finished the final dread and pulled the dreads up in a ponytail on top of his head.
"Zim!" He heard his brother Zeb holler from the other room. His brother was a Jounin of Kiri and unlike Jayden and Jeordie, they were friends.
As he entered Zeb's room he saw him staring out the window, he must have seen the bird to! As he stood by Zeb he looked up and noticed all the birds in the cloudy sky flying backwards and upside down!
"What the-" Zim asked as he stared out the window! He couldn't even finish the sentence!
"Head out with your team and investigate, I'll go look into it with mine. I'll talk to you later." Zeb said as he walked out the door. Zim followed behind him as his mother, Zara, gave him a hug and told him to be safe.

Miz had been up for an hour searching the house for his family. They have ten people in this house, Miz, his 7 siblings and parents. How in the world would all his family disappear at one time? Miz looked in a room and walked backwards out of the room and back into his brother Taki!
"Where is everyone? It's six in the morning, no one is up this early but me and you?" Miz said slightly startled but thankful he found someone!
"I was about to ask you the same thing! Notice every bed is made and every room is clean. Kawa is six and we both know her room is always a mess." Taki added as he observed the strange event going on in his home! Miz was extremely concerned at this point. Suddenly they heard laughter coming from Kawa's room and saw a stuffed pink monster land in front of them as though it had been thrown from her room!
"In that note find your team and I'll find mine and we'll figure this out!" Taki said as they ran out the door!
Miz saw his team in the middle of the fog covered road, each one looking as spooked as he was!
"I take it I'm not the only one experiencing strange things?" He asked approaching his team, each one looking rather rattled. Miz noticed the plush toys standing fairly close to the group looking more realistic than before! Startled, he took two kunai from his utility pocket in his pants and threw one at each monster! The minute the hit landed, the monster dissipated and the kunai dropped to the ground!
"This is insane! At least we know how to get rid of them now." Miz added, looking around them. As the thunder rolled more of the odd looking creatures began to appear around them.

(Sorry this is late had to work overtime to unload and put holiday items on shelves, trust me I would have rather been doing this instead of that )

Kurai watched as his other team mates showed up and were experiencing the exact same things he was experiencing! This was insane! Yeah it was spooky season but does that mean ghosts and supernatural entities can come into reality? Nightmares become real? No, this is impossible…right? This can't be real! Yet it was happening right in front of him, with his eyes wide open!
He saw Miz cause the entities to disappear, following suit, he pulled two kunai out, aiming
them directly at two monsters coming at him! They looked like animatronics from the local pizza joint…as soon as the kunai hit them they vanished, that's four down so far!
"Spooky season literally means monsters can come out to play?" Kurai asked and said rhetorically. "Time for some investigating…are you sure we are up for this? Maybe we should call an exorcist." He added with a wise remark. "I'm going to head out and get more ammo, see you guys back here in a little bit." Kurai added as he headed back home to load up on weapons. Looked like they were the ones who were going to have to solve this mystery, He really didn't look at himself as a ghost hunter but his job entailed protecting the village right?

Jayden wasn't sure exactly what was going on but it was obviously not happening to just him! No, it was happening to the village taking out two kunai, he threw them at a ghost like figure hovering near him, surprisingly the hit landed causing the figure to turn into mist and vaporize! He nodded towards Kurai as Kurai left the group and headed towards his home.
"I'm outta here as well, more ammo is definitely needed! Meet you guys back here to investigate later!" Jayden added as he headed back towards his home. He looked towards the village, he could see shadows darting around and hear very haunting sounds like laughter and screams! The rain started up again, coming down harder than before. Enhancing the already awkward scenario.
"What the hell is going on?" He wondered as he headed into the house followed by Jeordie and Taki, Miz's older brother!
"We need to talk Jay." Jeordie said as he practically pushed Jayden into the house! "Yeah? How about not trying to knock me down while we talk?" Jayden said nearly falling over as Taki looked around before shutting the door. It's obvious everyone was spooked and something paranormal was happening.

Zim watched as his friends destroyed the entities around them. This was the most insane thing he had seen for a while! Life in Kiri had been peaceful, until now! Apparently since Team Fuku discovered the strange happenings it was up to them to investigate! He looked towards a puddle of water and saw a dark haired looking apparition rising out of the puddle! It was a girl with her hair in front of her face in a white dress looking as though she had drowned! Whispering something about the number 7?! Damn, without some form of light he couldn't really use his shadow manipulation. He pulled out a kunai from his pocket and threw it at the girl causing her to disappear right in front of him! He sighed in relief. His teammates were going to get more ammo and he decided to go home and do the same, maybe Zeb had returned home with some general idea of what was happening!
"Meet you guys back here shortly!" he said as he hurriedly walked home! Now where had he stashed his shuriken and kunai? Oh yeah, in a drawer on his dresser.
As he was about to walk in the door Zeb walked in behind him and shut the door looking towards Zim.
"Okay, let's chat little brother." He said as he walked towards the living room. Zim followed him as they sat down to discuss what they both knew of the situation.

Miz agreed that it was time to get more ammo and investigate the area! But not without kunai shuriken and whatever else the team could use to stop these supernatural beings! A priest? Really Kurai? Nothing coming out of Stitches mouth was a surprise anymore l!
"Nah Stitch, then they would exorcize you too!" Okay they needed a little comedic relief due to the extent of the situation! Miz agreed, as he and his teammates walked away from the meeting spot, to meet back after gathering the needed items. He saw Taki walking into Jaydens house so he followed them, Taki motioned for him to hurry in before shutting the door behind him! It was obvious they had information on what was happening around Kirigakure.
Miz wasn't sure how Taki, Zeb and Jeordie were able to figure this out before them, but any information was helpful information!
The rain coming down outside was not going to be a hindrance for Miz considering it only helps him due to water being his element. Hopefully somehow, Zim would be able to use his shadow techniques considering anything would be useful against these apparitions at this point.
He followed Jeordie and Jayden, who were bickering as normal, and his brother Taki into the living room.
