In the air tonight (Event-Halloween)

Kurai walked into his house straight up the stairs into his room. Opening his closet door he pulled a basket off the shelf holding his very large assortment of Kunai and Shuriken. His weapons pouch could hold a lot, but not all these, thank goodness for cargo pants, or, in this case, ninja pants! After filling his pockets and weapons pouch with kunai and shuriken, he headed down stairs. He heard his aunt talking to someone at the door, apparently there was an alert going out to all the citizens of Kiri about the situation. As worried as she was, Kurai assured her it would be dealt with and not to panic!
He headed out the door to meet back up with the rest of his team and investigate further. The pouring rain was annoying but not enough to prevent him from doing his job. He saw a few papers littering the ground, as he picked up one it had some information on it about what they were investigating! Finally! At least a head's up for them!
"A kid? All this started by a mere kid? A six year old? You gotta be kidding me! I don't know whether to laugh or punch something at this point!" Kurai said out loud before facepalming himself.

Jeordie and Taki explained what they had found out. Miz and Jayden looked at each other and then back at their brothers. A six year old kid is in a fort he created from a dream? For real? What the hell is going on around here? This is insane! Jayden thought to himself.
"Okay Jor…let me get this straight bro…You want Team Fuku to go out find the kid and talk him out of the fort? We are ninjas, not child care professionals!" Jayden said as he looked at his brother. Seriously, he had to be kidding about this! Then again nightmares are becoming reality.
"Look, this is the assignment that was directly handed to your team, your Genin we are Jounin, catch my drift JJ?" Jeordie asked as he and Taki looked at the pair.
"Fine." Jayden sighed. Jeordie had a point. However Jayden felt that Jeordie and Taki think the mission was below their pay grade, so he handed it off to Team Fuku. Nothing new there! "Jayden took the paper from Jeordie and headed towards the door. "You owe me Jor…" he muttered. "YEAH RIGHT…talk your shit JJ…you know what happens…oh and how did your meeting with the Mizukage go?" Jeordie snickered followed by Taki laughing. They knew the entire time.
"You know what bro? You just gave me a brilliant idea!" Jayden said as he turned and smiled at them before running to his room. A minute later he was back stuffing something into his pocket before heading out the door.

Miz looked over at Taki who as usual, followed anything that Jeordie said with a nod. Miz was like that too, the silent type. As usual, Jeordie and Jayden were a prime example of sibling rivalry. Taki and Miz were never this bad, considering they had several siblings they realized that sibling rivalry in their house would be more of a war and divide the house. Therefore the brothers got along.
However, Miz agreed with Jayden on this one, they weren't teachers or daycare workers, they were ninjas!
"How are we supposed to get the kid out of his dream fort?" Miz asked before Jeordie told them it was up to them. "This is insane." Miz said as he rolled his eyes before Jayden walked by him.
"It's your job Miz, and this mission was directly handed to you guys, we did our part." Taki said as Miz turned and followed Jayden towards the door before he suddenly stopped at the comment Jeordie made! Wow! The look on Jayden's face, Miz assumed he was about to fight his brother! And of course Taki had to laugh. Before Miz could say anything Jaydens facial expression shifted. Miz wasn't sure what Jayden was up to, but he had a feeling he had a good idea. He followed Jayden out the door as Taki and Jeordie continued their snide remarks.
"Fuckers …" Miz muttered under his breathe shutting the door.

Zim followed behind his brother Zeb as he informed Zim what he had learned. And about the mission given to Zim and his team. Zim's reaction was slightly different from his team mates, unlike them he didn't care, he knew if they were given an assignment then they had to do it! They were ninjas after all! Hell if a cat was in a tree and they were told to get it down, then they would do as instructed.
"We are to talk a kid out of a fort he pulled out of a dream? Does any of this make any sense? We will do this mission, but none of this makes sense to any of us." Zim said as he looked from the paperwork to his brother.
"It doesn't make sense to any of us either. The first assumption is that this is some kind of genjutsu but after using the genjutsu Release, it was still happening. We assumed it was some other form of Jutsus and that maybe we were being attacked, but it's happening in every village, not just here! Listen, Team Fuku needs to be careful. I'm here if you need me little brother!" Zeb explained putting his hand on Zims shoulder as he said the last line.
Zim nodded as he headed out the door to meet up with the rest of his team.

Kurai watched as everyone approached the group meeting area. Judging by the looks on their faces they have all been briefed by their relatives just as he was. Before he could open his mouth a loud scream of a child broke through the lovely fog covered area! Sure enough, it was the fort child from the mission.
"And here we go…"Kurai sighed, rolling his eyes. He walked up beside the fort and peered up at the kid on the top of the fort. "Hey, Yo kid we got lots of candy down here, you want some? Come on down and get it!" Kurai said as he dug into his right pocket of his jacket. Sure enough he had 3 candy bars! See, it wasn't a lie, he did have candy.
The kid looked down and told him no he didn't care about candy, and proceeded to start throwing water balloons at him! Only they weren't regular water balloons, these balloons were filled with paint and some with slime! As two of them hit Kurai he noticed he was covered in pink and purple paint!
"What the - I'm covered in paint!" Kurai said as he picked up a balloon off the ground that hadn't popped. He threw the balloon at the kid on the fort! "Take that you little shit!" Kurai said as the balloon hit the kid!

Jayden and Miz both arrived at the meeting spot at the same time Kurai saw the fort! Jayden heard the sarcasm in Kurai's voice. Uh-oh! Kurai walked straight into danger! Okay, offering candy was a smart move, but at the same time, the kid is not stupid, he knew what they were there for!
Of course! Water balloons, perfect childhood defense! Jayden preferred poppers as a kid but to each their own!
"Kurai! Chill, he's a kid." Jayden said as he put a hand on Kurai's shoulder. Jayden then reached into his pocket and pulled out his box of poppers that the Mizukage gave to him! These were about to come in handy! Jayden took out three of them and began to toss them. The kid looked down at them.
"Want some? Come on down and I'll give you some of them." Jayden said, throwing a couple more.
"I love poppers! They're my favorites!" He said as he got out of the fort and came down to the ground. Mission completed! Jayden gave him a couple of the poppers as his parents came over to him. They thanked Team Fuku for saving their son. The kid threw them at a tree then at bird, luckily it didn't hit the bird.

Miz, who had been following Jayden, noticed Kurai had a flyer in his hand. Probably the same one Jeordie and Taki had put out to warn the public what was going on. A few feet away was the fort! Miz and Kurai noticed it at the same time. And of course Mouthy Kurai had an attitude with the kid while offering him candy! Miz laughed seeing Kurai covered in paint, finally someone gave Kurai what he deserved for constantly running his mouth! As Jayden pulled Kurai away, to be nice Miz held his hands over Kurai's head releasing small amounts of water from his hands to clean the paint off before it dried.
"And what have we learned today, Kurai?" Miz asked with a sarcastic tone! Moving one hand he reached into Kurai's jacket pocket and pulled out the candy. Then he walked over to the kid and gave him the candy.
"You have to be careful, building a fort that big in reality is dangerous." He said as he handed the kid the candy. The parents agreed with Miz. The kid nodded at Miz as he took the candy. This mission wasn't too hard, and at least the kid understood he was in the wrong after they got him out of the fort!

As Zim arrived he noticed everyone else had already arrived and as usual Kurai was being mouthy! If Kurai wasn't their friend and such an asset to their team…Zim immediately put that thought out of his head…he wasn't one to legit torture people, even if they annoyed him! However, the sight of Kurai covered in pink paint was hilarious! When Kurai started throwing balloons back at the kid l, Zim spoke up!
"Kurai, he's a kid, don't lower yourself to that of a six year old! We are the ones that are supposed to be handling this situation." Zim said as he took the balloons out of Kurai's hand.
Jayden had the situation handed because by that time the kid was coming out of the fort to get the poppers and the parents were running over to them. Miz took over dealing with the Kurai issue and Zim wondered if the fort would vanish like the monsters did. He pulled out a shuriken and aimed it at the fort causing it to disappear in a puff of pink smoke and sparks.
"Damn…this is some insane shit …" Zim sighed as he walked away from the fort towards his team mates.

Jayden was just glad it had been easy to get the kid out of the fort! How lucky for him to have gotten the poppers from the kage in the first place. In a way Jayden felt bad for Kurai, yeah he was a little rough around the edges but he was a part of team Fuku. And therefore he was important, after all, they look out for one another. He had jumped onto their boat to help fight off the bandits and that was one of the reasons Jayden was alive today!
But, Kurai could really be quite irritating! Example, the gates of Kiri when he decided to argue with Izu, second example right here, arguing with a kid. Then again, everyone on the team has different personalities and it's part of what makes up their team!
He watched as Kurai stormed off to go home. Jayden and the others would more than likely find him later. Miz was talking to the kid and his parents, handing them the candy that Kurai had offered them. The way Zim scolded Kurai was funny, but he was right to. Jayden decided it was time for him to go report what had happened to Jeordie, who apparently was researching different things going on in the village and handed any assignments to their Team, well at least they get paid for this. 
"We'll meet up later, I'm heading home!" He said as he walked away.
