Azuki, maintaining his protective stance, remained silent, allowing the gravity of the situation to settle between them. His eyes, always observant, conveyed a depth of reassurance beyond words. He understood the turmoil churning within Junko, her guilt and fear palpable in the air. He moved slightly closer, his presence a solid, comforting force amidst the chaos of emotions.

He spoke, his voice low and steady, a stark contrast to the whirlwind of Junko's distress. "Junko," he began, his tone firm yet gentle, "you did what was necessary. We're alive, and that's what matters now." His words were sparse, but each one carried the weight of his conviction.

Azuki shifted, his gaze never leaving her, ensuring his message was clear without overwhelming her with words. "Ren is strong. He'll make it. And we... we will ensure we're prepared for whatever comes next." His assurance was not just about survival but a promise of continued protection and support.

He stood, a silent sentinel, waiting for Junko to gather herself. His stance spoke volumes of his intention to escort her home, to ensure her safety every step of the way. Azuki's patience was unwavering, a testament to his role as the quiet protector. He was prepared to leave when she was, his actions speaking louder than any words could.

Junko would listen to his words as she lay on the ground, he didn’t speak much so when he did she was sure to not take them lightly. After a few moments in silence, her tears stopped streaming down her face and she would slowly sit up. She’d let out a loud sigh before attempting to stand. Once to her feet, Junko would look to Azuki and say in a defeated voice

”Thank you Azuki, you’re right Ren is rather tough. Though so was that thing that charged up..”

She’d feel the wound on her head beginning to heal, and she’d slowly undo the bandages that Azuki wrapped around her. Soon the two of them began to head back to Junko's home at a relatively slow pace moving was a bit painful but she knew she couldn’t stay home forever. She would remain silent for the majority of the walk, only speaking if Azuki struck up a conversation.

Unfortunately, she couldn’t shake the feeling of dread that coursed through her mind. If it wasn’t for Azuki she would have potentially been eliminated or worse, captured and turned into a monstrosity herself. They would soon arrive back at her home to find Ren injured but not dead. This made her feel significantly better, she felt relieved to know that all of them had made it back safe and sound.
