Science And Merchants

Kaguya, Arashi found himself waiting just outside of Kumogakure no Sato's 'Ichigo Sato Institute of Medicine'. In other words he was at the village's hospital, but thankfully this time around he was not there to receive any medical attention, rather his presence here had been requested for a mission of sorts. The medical institute's science division had requested Arashi, alongside three other individuals, to showcase their abilities in a form of training. This would not be any sort of 'normal', training, however. From what Arashi could gather their methods would be closely examined and monitored so that the village as a whole could improve upon and readjust its own training methods. The knowledge gathered here today, should it be favorable, would surely be passed on to the village's Ninja Academy, and from there onto the next generations of Kumogakure shinobi and kunoichi.

While Arashi felt that the task as a whole would be boring, he knew that he himself had been long overdue for some training, and quite frankly he couldn't wait to meet some new people. The only things he had known about the other individuals involved with this mission was that one of them was one of the village's Chunin, and that the other two were Genin like himself. The young man of Kaguya lineage had never officially been a part of a shinobi team before, even if only temporarily like today, but he was eager to get to know them all the same.

After the group had finished up here they were to head out into the housing district of the village. One of the resident merchants had been receiving death threats from some unknown assailants. One of these threats had been left in the client's own bed, and seeing as the perpetrator had left no sign of breaking in or even scaling their way to the third floor where the bedroom had been located, there was much speculation and reason to believe that the individual was one of shinobi origin, or at least someone who had received training in the arts of stealth and sensory. This honestly was the aspect of the missions that Arashi had not been looking forward to. He was sure to be very tired after this training, and stakeout missions like these were tedious and seemingly never ending.

A short while would pass, and realizing that he had become thirsty, he opted to make his way into the institute.

'Maybe the others have already arrived? Guess I'll find out.'

Arashi would first make his way to the water fountain stationed in the far end of the waiting room and gulped down some of the refreshingly cold water before making his way over to the receptionist in the center of the room.

"Excuse me, Ma'am," He greeted with a light bow. The receptionist turned her attention away from the paperwork she had been examining to look up at Arashi. "Name's Kaguya, Arashi. I'm here to assist the science division with some research. Have any of the other people assigned to this mission arrived, by chance?"

"Not that I'm aware of, Mr. Kaguya." The woman replied as she shook her head from side to side. "I will make sure that Mr. Takagawa, our head researcher in charge of that project, aware of your arrival though. Please wait out here for a little while until he arrives." The receptionist outstretched her hand to direct Arashi to take a seat in the waiting area if he so chose to. With a nod of his head Arashi would thank the woman before taking a seat for himself in the designated area. Here he would wait for the other shinobi and kunoichi who had been assigned this mission with him...
