Appearance: A small, opaque stone that pulsates an ominous, orange glimmer with a height of 5 and a width of 2.5 centimeters. The stone's warm to the touch, its surface, though smooth, seems to ripple faintly as if reacting to unseen energies and exudes an eldritch sense of latent power. Upon closer inspection, one can see the harrowing vestiges of a soul long-departed swirling within its depths.


Backstory: During the Cataclysm, millions of souls suddenly perished, their spirits severed from their mortal coil. According to legend, the Shinigami, the God of Death, was unable to transport these manifold souls to the Afterlife and instead left a few to remain in the Living World. These unfortunate souls were contained in crude, effervescent stones now commonly known as “Soul Stones,” noted for their eerie reflections of the departed. It is said that those who discover one of these stones can use it at the moment of their death, thereby releasing the soul trapped within and escaping to the Spirit World, while the one who used it will assume an entirely new vessel.

Trait: From Dust, You Shall Return — Upon a character’s death, the player can automatically use the Soul Stone. This allows them to create a new character at the same OOC Power Rank with the base stats for that rank (i.e. if the deceased character's Power Rank was previously B-Rank, then the new character can start at B-Power with a starting allocation of 200 stat points). However, they will not begin at their deceased character's IC Ninja Rank and instead spawn as either an Academy Student or Genin (if starting as a Village-Nin), though this can be changed through an IC thread with their respective Kage. The new character will not inherit any prior Jutsu, skills, items, or lack thereof from the deceased character.
