Ordinary Days (P)

Life had been fairly good for Nemui recently, meeting various people and getting acquainted with Kirigakure's way of life. As someone that grew up in the border region, specifically in a small fishing hamlet, it had taken the better part of two years to get this familiar. Nemui also began as a rather shy person, avoiding large groups of people until he began taking part in missions, learning to better control his emotions. Some of the missions he'd taken part in weren't so kind, leaving him with lasting scars and memories he'd rather forget. Even they however provided valuable experiences and comrades that Nemui felt he could rely on. The space in between felt like a blur, with training consuming most of his free time and while that continued to make him stronger, it wasn't something he looked back on fondly.

This excluded the times he'd trained with others such as his first teacher, Dracoso. The man had vanished some time ago, leaving a hole in Nemui's schedule that was irreplaceable for the value his lessons offered. Still the boy made progress on his own, reading books that offered the insights he required and putting practice to their texts. Help from others would have been welcomed all the same but few within Kirigakure specialized in his same style of combat. There was one person that came to mind but Nemui didn't wish to press her for time. Then on top of everything else he'd received the offer to become a hunter nin for Kirigakure while receiving the rank of Chunin. The recent events caused Nemui to feel as though a crushing weight had been placed upon his shoulders. With all of this in mind, he considered what the next step might be.

There was the option of rushing to accomplish the lofty goal of becoming a dedicated hunter nin but this wasn't so appealing to Nemui. Instead the boy felt that some much needed rest and relaxation would serve him best. Mulling over the what activity might appeal the most he'd eventually come to settle on visiting a nearby restaurant well known for its exquisite quality and service The establishment in question had, over time, become one of Nemui's favourite places to spoil himself. However, it was also expensive and he had reservations about frequenting it too often, for the sake of his wallet. This practice in itself made every visit to the restaurant more memorable than it otherwise would be. Settled on his choice for R&R, Nemui put on his best clothes for the occasion. These clothes, consisting of a wine red suit jacket with pants to match and a navy blue undershirt, were important to not stand out at such a prestigious establishment.

Equipped with his choice of attire, Nemui headed out with the time being roughly seven o'clock at night. There was no need to make reservations ahead of time on Tuesdays, so the boy enjoyed a casual stroll before eventually arriving at twenty minutes past seven. After stepping inside he would observe, as expected, that only a few tables of the many available were currently occupied. Nemui waited a few paces further inside, as was expected in this restaurant, for a server to come and escort him to a seat.

Prim had decided to go out to eat that night. She was dressed in a very pretty black strappy dress and some dressy sandals. Her hair was pulled up in a high ponytail on her head and was dangling down in dark black curls. It was getting a little late and she was beginning to get hungry! This restaurant had a good reputation in Kiri and she had decided to try it. In her hand she had several pieces of paper she decided to go over tonight so she decided to go over them during dinner.
As she approached the restaurant she sighed at the fact she was going here alone tonight! It was sad but hey this was her chance to get out and meet new people! She looked down at the papers as she stepped into the door, time to count to make sure they were all there.
“1…2…3…4-” Prim wasn't looking where she was going and bumped into someone in front of her! At first she wasn't sure if it was a male or female because she ended up with a face full of blonde hair! Nice hair at that, but still she had no idea who this was and she ran into them!
“I am so sorry!” She said as she realized it was a young man! “ I wasn't looking where I was going!” She quickly jumped back and looked at him.
“I'm Primrose Uchiha, are you here alone?” She asked as she looked around and noticed they were the only two standing at the entrance area.

After the door opened behind him and footsteps slowly approved, unexpectedly the figure that approached suddenly bonked their face into the back of Nemui's head. The boy abruptly balanced himself by placing his right foot forward before spinning around to face that figure in question. To his surprise it was a well dressed lady that looked to be in her twenties. Not knowing who she was the boy's immediate response was to begin apologizing. "I'm so sorry, are you okay?" He hoped she wasn't a senior member of the village that cause him trouble, although she didn't look to be injured. Nervous energy was written on the boy's face and posture while he waited for a response. He'd quickly observe the paperwork she had in hand as well, with her hand positioning seeming to indicate that she'd been flicking through the pages recently, since the stack was split between them.

Despite this, he couldn't decipher the possibility of the paper stack causing a distraction and being the reason she walked into him. Only affluent people came to this restaurant and Nemui was always especially careful to mind his manners around its patrons, dreading that something like this might happen.

Prim looked down at the boy who was apparently a young man! He asked her if she was okay. She folded her paperwork and stuck it in her purse. She reached out to straighten out the hair that looked messed up and smiled.
“ Yeah I'm sorry about that, I am new around here and was working on some paperwork and not watching where I was going.” She said as her fingers ran through his hair fixing the stray strands she had messed up!
“There we go, you have some really nice hair young man.” She said with a smile. “I guess I really need to watch where I am going a little bit better!” She said with a small chuckle. “ I heard this restaurant was a good one and it was recommended by some friends. Would it be okay if I sat with you? It would be embarrassing to sit alone.” Prim said as she noticed most people had someone at the table with them, sitting alone would be embarrassing for her at this point! She was hoping the young man wouldn't mind. He seemed rather friendly, not many people would be nice if you had just literally ran into them and had a mouthful of their hair! However he seemed to understand it was an accident.

Nemui awkwardly stood there as this woman who'd just ran into him began running her fingers through his hair. She gave off the presence of a mother, or older sister. After receiving a compliment from her concerning his hair the boy would give a reluctant blush before answering in a hushed tone "Thank you." Then as the lady went on to explain how she came to be here and requested to sit with him, Nemui gave careful consideration to her request before answering more matter-of-factly, "To be honest, there's someone I don't want to see me sitting having dinner at an expensive restaurant with another lady." He paused momentarily for breath before continuing, "Since we've made a scene and I can feel the eyes of this establishment's other guests on my back, would you be interested in taking a walk outside instead?" Nemui asked, moving towards the door before opening it for the lady and standing aside, although clearly intending to follow her out if she agreed.
