A new type of Adventure

“Are you feeling any better?” The question has been gnawing on her mind since they left out this morning.

After their mission, Powder had somehow managed to help Aizen back to the settlement that she visited often. To quickly get him treatment for the wound he obtained from Kura's dagger. It was sheer luck that the blade hadn't been laced with some sort of poison.

They had bandaged him up and found some herbs to concoct a sort of medicine to help the process.

He nods in response. Unsure of where he is or how Powder managed to bring him here, he decided it didn't matter. Whatever they did, it was working. The pain he felt in his side doesn't hurt nearly as bad as it did initially, and it surely isn't enough to slow him down.

Aizen looked at Powder and let out a deep breath, then asked the age-old question, "What next? Where do we go from here?"

“We won't be going very far. There's a village that recently took root upon the island. I think it's appropriate to check it out.” Powder stated, grateful to hear that he was feeling well enough. “We will be heading towards Tsukigakure”

Even though Aizen is well enough to walk, he was hoping for a longer recovery time. Though nothing sounds better than a place to call home. Something Aizen has been longing for. The idea of a permanent sanctuary, a place where he could lay down his sword and rest his weary soul, was a dream he had clung to for as long as he could remember. The nomadic life he led, always on the move, always looking over his shoulder, had taken its toll. He yearned for stability, for a sense of belonging that had eluded him for so long. The long wait is almost over.
