Sanji read the file that contained the mission information and immediately accepted without hesitation, a rare thing for him. He rushed out of the office and jumped down to street level before taking off in a sprint. First he went to the orphanage itself, where he had a private word with the proprietor of the establishment on just how many kids were there, and whether they were boys or girls. He wrote all this info down on... himself because he forgot to bring any paper. He tried to make a pleasant enough face so the wary children didn't look at him with such horror, but it was no use. Most of them went outside to play, the ones that remained stayed out of sight, playing down by their beds. With a sigh Sanji continued to write down information vital to his mission. Once he had the info he needed he went to a local toy craftsman. Sanji could make things, but to try and make toys when he's never done so? He didn't see the point in attempting this because he didn't want to send the kids junk, they deserve better than that. So, even though the reward was 150 ryo, Sanji told the craftsman to make toys for 10 girls and 15 boys, a cost of 550 ryo. Sanji was definitely taking a loss on this, but he couldn't care less.
When the job was completed and the toys were ready to be delivered the craftsman nodded knowingly to Sanji as he took the money from him." Look I feel bad charging you but I got kids to feed too, and..." Said the craftsman, to which Sanji quickly raised a hand." I wouldn't take food out of your children's mouths any more readily than I would give bad toys to orphans. We made a deal and I have no qualms with it." said Sanji. The craftsman was nice enough to lend him a rickshaw for him to haul the toys over to the orphanage in, and a short run later he was back at the orphanage. The kids again cowered in his presence until he carried in 2 large crates, set them in the floor, and then opened them up. Seeing how the kids shied away from him, he frowned lightly and nodded to the lady who ran the orphanage." I think you better give the toys to them. They don't seem to like my presence much." he says softly. This, in a way made him wish he had done this more anonymously, but hindsight is 20/20 and it was already done.
Sanji walked toward the door quietly to leave the orphans to their toys when a little girl ran up with a doll in her arms and hugged his leg out of the blue." Thank you, Mr. Sanji!" He smiled softly and nodded before the girl joined her friends again and he heard an uproarious 'Thank you!" from all the kids. That was worth much more to him than any amount of money he lost on this venture. With a lighter heart Sanji exited the building and proceeded to take the rickshaw back to the craftsman before heading home, his pockets lighter, but a good deed had been done today and everyone involved benefited, including himself.
