Daniel vs Denkiteki (Private, No kill)
Wed Dec 05, 2012 11:48 pm
Denkiteki decided it would be best to take a break from his studies, sitting in the house all day was no good for him. He was still trying to find a cure for his…condition. No not a cure… just something that gets rid of the negative effects. The urge to kill, destroy things. That was the only thing that Denkiteki was truly worried about. The idea of transforming into a snake, and the change having a possibility of being permanent, did bother him somewhat, but the power he would most likely gain if that did happen might be worth it.
Shaking his head, the young Jounin made his way to the Training grounds. He wore his Chuunin gear, from before his promotion. Despite having been a Jounin for a little while, he had yet to replace his gear. He had a kunai pouch with a number of kunai in it strapped to the outer part of his left thigh, and a larger weapons pouch resting above his rear. He did not bring his Wakizashi, instead wearing his ring on his left index finger. He wanted to test of his new sword, the one that would hopefully become a Seven swordsmen sword if he was accepted.
The young Jounin appeared in the training grounds rather quickly, he had grown to become extremely fast within the last month. He wanted to actually test himself now, see exactly what he was capable of. He looked around for something that could test him, he knew he wasn’t the only powerful shinobi in the Mist.

The wind shifting Daniel jumped through the trees his movments matching a blur almost teleporting speed. Shifting through he came flying out into the air looking down noticing another Kiri-nin. His body came down his cloak lifted into the air as he came down, his left foot planting against the ground, his right foot following directly behind it. Standing 6 feet 3 inchs tall, his eyes were shut at the moment of landing. His eyes shooting open he looked at the other nin. "Hmmm, this isnt another Gennin Daniel.. this is going to be. Tough." Thinking to himself. Daniels face mask covering his face he looked down the training area.
Daniels body stood directly upright his sword layed directly across his lower back. Noticing his opponents sword he could relize that its most likly new. Somthing was different about this shinobi infront of Daniel, well more of the fact Daniel could tell that he's a Jonnin, Daniel being a mere Gennin this should be rather interesting.
"So. It seems i ran across another Kiri-nin. I am Daniel Kiyade, a Kaguya from the mist." Daniels voice was low and stern. Seemingly calm for the moment he looked at his opponents kunai. Sliding his right foot back he stood from the side. Holding his right hand up, he closed his eyes a hole on the palm of his black glove began to produce a white "goo" the goo began to morph together forming the form of a "Kunai" The handle turned into a grip for daniels hand. The blade formed and became just like a regular kunai but it was white as snow.
The inside began to become very dence and very hard. Becoming much hard then any average Kunai. Twirling it Daniel gripped it in reverse and looked at his opponent once more. Daniels blue eyes were almost a bright silver, though his face shows no emotion due to his mask. "Well Daniel, lets see how your training will pay off" Prepared for this battle Daniel now waits.

(sorry, forgot to mention the sword is actually my ring xD my bad. Just so you know, right now my character doesn't have a sword on him, his ring can become a sword if he wants it to.)
A giant masked man, or perhaps boy, caught Denkiteki’s eyes. He was fast it seemed. Perhaps this boy was not quite as fast as Denkiteki was, but he was more than just exceptional. Interesting, perhaps he will be a challenge. Denkiteki was about to begin walking towards the boy, but it seemed that he had managed to catch the giant’s attention as well. Perhaps powerful shinobi were able to sense each other, as Denkiteki had done nothing to attract attention to himself.
Denkiteki looked down at his ring, wondering if he should transform it. The ring was his new sword, though currently it did not look like one. It appeared to be a plain ring to the naked eye at least. Denkiteki’s father had given it to him, and taught him how to activate it. He wondered if this boy would be worthy enough for him to use it. Look at me, assuming that I can hold back against people already. I might be staring to get cocky. he could have chuckled, but instead he decided to give off the appearance of being calm like his opponent.
A few other shinobi seemed to stop what they were doing to look at the two. The first to draw their attention would most likely be the giant with his mask and cloak, the large sword across his back. He had a rather intimidating appearance.
Denkiteki hardly struck an imposing figure, he stood at 5’6 and wore a simple Chuunin standard outfit. But the spectators would feel something odd, coming from him, something that drew their attention toward the young Jounin. Though only a sensor would be able to identify it, his chakra was spread out around him. It was extremely dense, and in truth he actually was overflowing with chakra. It could not all remain in his body, and thus some of it surrounded him instead.
Denkiteki nodded toward the boy, who said he was a Kaguya, this was not his first encounter with their kind. He had met one in Konoha once, the Kekkai Genkai of the Kaguya was interesting.
It seemed this boy’s bone manipulation might be a bit different, Denkiteki watch ed a kunai was formed in the boy’s hand. Interesting. Denkiteki had a few abilities that could perhaps be intimidating as well, though he chose not to show them. He had remained silent through the boy’s greeting and the making of his kunai, watching him curiously.
He looked back at the boy, his dark blue eyes meeting the boy’s lighter two. Now he finally spoke, “So, I guess you want to spar? Seeing as you are already making a weapon? Alright then, let’s get started.” Denkiteki wondered if he should draw a blade, or activate his sword. Denkiteki ended up reaching into his kunai holster on his left thigh, carefully removing one kunai from it. He held it in his left hand as he got back into a standing position. His body was not to the side like his opponent’s he was actually standing in a relaxed pose with his full body facing him. Yes, it seems I am beginning to get cocky, but will this guy be the one that puts me back in my place? We’ll see.
He mused over activating the initial snake transformation, but decided against it. If he needed it he would use it, no need to waste needed energy when he didn’t know if his opponent could challenge him normally yet. Standing in what seemed to be a relaxed position, he waited for his opponent to make the first move.
The few shinobi nearby looked between the two, knowing this fight would be interesting. It amused Denkiteki that they were watching, if the boy could move as quickly as he had when he entered, there was a chance most of them wouldn’t even be able to follow the movements of the two.

Daniels eyes slowly shut as he opponent began to come forth. Asking Daniel if it were a spar that he had wanted. Daniel slightly chuckled as his eyes were shut. Flowing his Chakra through his bones his eyes began to illuminate light blue. Opening then the glare could visibly be seen. Standing straight up Daniel threw his right hand down, the kunai he had made flew directly into the ground sticking up. Quickly Daniel slammed his hands together as he span around so the front of his body was facing the Jonnin. Pulling his hands outwards, palms flat. A flat board of bone began to form. Growing flat it was 2 feet high, and 4 feet across.
Turning to the side once more Daniels left hand gripped flat against it. And as quickly as the board formed he gave it a slightly umph, the board quickly began to bubble out on the side facing the jonnin. As it did it was almost as if the bubbles popped. Once they did a small senbon made of bone came flying out about 3 inches long. Once the first bone senbon flew out, several more came flying out directly after it soon releasing 50 senbons flying through the air at his opponent.
As the senbons came flying out, they had released in a matter of seconds, the board dropped. Daniel quickly reaching down he gripped the kunai he had thrown. Just as quick as he had preformed this move. He was bolting down the field behind the senbons. His body moving so fast he mimicked someone teleporting. Running very fast he was directly behind the senbons going down the field. His quick movements quickly caught him up to the senbons. But as he did he preformed hand signs with one hand, his image had split into three.
The two other images ran as Daniel Suddenly bolted into the air in a quick moment arching over the Senbons that were about 5 feet from the jonnin. Daniel arching through the air he threw the kunai directly down at the Jonnins shoulder. Coming down his body Landed behind his opponent about 4 meters away. Standing his right hand quickly formed another Kunai into his palm.
Daniel looking straight ahead he saw his opponent standing at the side, the senbons flying directly at him with a kunai soaring down from above. Making his opponents options limited. But still Daniel knew he was dealing with a Jonnin. So this attack was maybe, maybe a Chunnin level. Smirking his eyes did nothing but watch his opponent like a hawk. The shinobis watching barely able to keep up. They just notice the two images following the senbons, taking them a moment to realize that Daniel was now behind his opponent.
"A spar?... Hmmm a spar is to easy, i wanna fight."
Daniel knew he was only a Genin, but this doesn't mean he will fight like one. He plans to make this fight rather interesting. Awaiting to see what his opponent is going to do he stood watching him like a Hawk. Not worried about the senbon hitting him if his opponent dodges.. Made out of Daniels bones they will simply fly back into his body. Daniel uses his Clan ability different then other Kaguya. He has idolized the fact he can literally make his bone do what ever he pleases. He has mastered the art of Bone Manipulation to an extent not even his ancestors could mimic him. Still Daniel has much to learn. But or now he will hold back slightly to find out his opponents ability. He needs to know why he is a Jonnin.
Daniels Chakra level suddenly was rising from what it was to now, equaling even a Jonnins. Daniel came to this fight prepared and wasn't going to take an easy match. Though 19 years old Daniel was mentally older. Standing he waited for his opponents reaction. He knew it wasn't going to be simple to just hit his opponent but. He can try. Waiting Daniel was ready for a counter.

Denkiteki watched curiously as his opponent made the board. I’d attack, but this is interesting. This one seems to be a bit more powerful than the last Kaguya I met, that boy named Banteki. Already his opponent was doing something more complex then what he had seen Banteki do, creating a board of out bone. Denkiteki could have easily cleared the distance between the two of them while his opponent made the bones, but instead he decided to wait. He wanted to see what this guy was capable of, before he attempted anything himself. He believed himself competent enough to dodge the older boy’s attack, considering their distance.
As the first senbon made of bone left the board, Denkiteki watched it curiously. Soon more followed, and Denkiteki had 50 senbons traveling towards his location. Directly at his location. These were slower than his opponent, evident by the fact that his opponent quickly caught up with them as he also made his way towards Denkiteki. The attack seemed fairly linear to Denkiteki, it seemed as though his opponent hadn’t though about him simply moving to the left or right. It sort of defeated the purpose of making so many senbon, but Denkiteki decided his opponent must have had something else planned as well.
The senbon barely even had a meter of spacing from one end to another, they had come directly out of the board towards Denkiteki. He wondered what his opponent was planning, did he intend to attack Denkiteki after he avoided the senbon? He saw his opponent behind the senbon, doing a hand seal and splitting his image into 3. Denkiteki wondered which jutsu it was, Shadow Clone or just the normal version?
Denkiteki’s opponent jumped, the senbon were closing in fast, yet so far only Denkiteki’s eyes had moved. His chakra allowed him to keep track of both his opponent and the senbon as he closed his eyes, a smirk beginning to appear on his face. His opponent threw the kunai in his hand at Denkitkei shoulder when the senbon were only 3 feet away, and that was when Denkiteki made his move.
Denkiteki moved a meter and a half to his right, moving so quickly that to even his opponent it would have seemed as though he was teleporting. He was well out of the way of the senbon when he stopped, and the kunai that had been thrown would simply embed itself into the ground. Denkiteki didn’t worry about the clones, he could sense movement and seeing as he had sensed none from them when they had entered his sensory range, he had quickly figured out that they were simply images and not shadow clones.
Now it was his turn.
Denkiteki performed 3 simple hand seals, moving so quickly that no one watching would be able to figure out which ones he had even used. His opponent had yet to hit the ground as he performed the technique, and his opponent would only hear the sound of the earth separating if he was watching Denkiteki still. Denkiteki had quickly been able to figure out the arc of his opponents decent, and had created a hole in the ground for him to fall into.
The hole opened up a meter behind where he would land, 5 meters away from Denkiteki’s original location. This was so that his opponent’s arc of descent wouldn’t allow him to grab onto a wall as he fell. Not that Denkiteki thought he would be able to he, just wanted to be sure. The hole would continue to open up rapidly, quickly becoming 5 meters in diameter. The hole was also 13 meters deep, making it a fairly large hole all around. His opponent would begin falling into the hole as it reached its maximum diameter.
The jutsu was designed to open up beneath an opponent, extend until it reached its full length, and then close all before an opponent landed on the ground. Despite his opponent moving at a faster velocity than one who was at rest when he would first enter the hole, because the jutsu had already been halfway completed the hole would be too small for him to exit by the time he hit the bottom.
If the jutsu worked, his opponent would land in the hole as it nearly finished closing, and would quickly be left in darkness. All his opponent would be able to hear would be the sound of the earth moving around and above him, creating a 3 meter tall prison with four sides that were also 3 meters. The prison would be 10 meters underground, with the rest of the former hole having completely sealed itself.
Denkiteki would stand in the spot he had moved to, waiting a few moments before he released the jutsu. It would be a little while, as Denkiteki couldn’t open the hole directly after making it. It was a bit of an annoyance, but it most likely freaked out anyone he had caught in there. Seeing as if he chose not to open it his opponent’s would eventually suffocate and die. He did not plan to do that though, as soon as he could he would release his opponent and allow him to exit the chamber.

Daniel stood behind his opponent. Noticing him suddenly vanish the senbons came flying directly at Daniel. But before he could react the ground opened up underneath him, he quickly fell back but as he did he reached for somthing to grab onto the ground swiftly moved away from him.
"Hmmm."
His back faced the bottom of the hole but quickly he moved his body back tucking his knees into his chest. Flipping back he landed on his feet. Looking up the hole began to close.
Smirking underneth his mask Daniel rapidly formed handsigns. The hole closing. as it did he slammed his hand into the ground mumbling the words "Sawabi No mai" As he did his eyes shut. His chakra level rising increasingly high. The hole had sealed shut.
As the hole sealed shut, an eerie sound of silence filled the air for a second. As many would belive the fight was going to end. It had just started. The ground suddenly began to shake rapidly. Almost as if a earth quake was happening. Daniel no where in sight. The ground shaking began to crack all over, splitting as peices of earth began lifting up, and where daniel was suppose to be sealed underneath the ground, a massive spike shot out of the ground, lifting 20 feet into the air.
As the first spike shot out of the ground, several more began to fly out of the ground at a very fast rate. More and more shot up growing to 20 feet high. and with the chakra put into it they were as strong as steel. Soon hundreds of spikes filled the area, and more, and more just kept coming up. This making the training grounds a death trap for anyone standing on the surface. the spikes were no more then 2 feet across from each other and were 5 feet in radius. Massive in size anything hit would instantly be killed from how large they were.
The spike that flew out of where daniel was morhped around him hollowing on the inside. This plan of the jonnins was good. But not good enough. As the spikes began to stop forming. There were hundreds maybe even a thousand bone spikes that had formed. Reaching higher then the tree tops, the eerie silence once again filled the air. Not even a bird chirping from this jutsu.
Sawabi no mai, meaning Dance of the seedling fern. Maybe one of the strongest jutsu in the Kaguya Clan. Daniel Now hidden from sight and able to move freely throughout the bone spikes. It was now his terrain.
Sitting inside of the spike Daniel smirked, standing straight up he leaped into the air inside of the spike. Gripping onto the inside he formed into the bone spike. Stepping out onto the ground slowly the bone was connected to his body as he came out. The bone streching out detached and formed back onto the spike. All Daniel could see is a feild of bone spikes. Making visability low to his opponent, if he wasnt dead that is.
But this wasnt it. Daniel was ready for a fight and that he had in mind. He reached his hand to the right, although he had preformed this jutsu, alot of his chakra was used.. He didnt have many jutsu in the first place. His right hand gripped onto a spike. The bone inside of his hand connected to the spike, the top of the spike quickly began to flatten, as it did The top bubbled just like the board he had made. Daniel focused his chakra more intensly to flow through this single spike, and the bubbles began to pop sending senbons flying into the air. But this time. There were much more.
The spike began to spuel out 400 bone senbons into the air at a rapid rate, the senbons soared into the air mimicing the density of the bone spike, they were as hard a steel. The bone spikes spueling out by the hundreds, soon a shadow casted over the training area. the senbons reaching about 50 feet into the air before they made there decent.
"A fight? heh.. you better prepare your self Jonnin, this is not going to be easy."
The senbons quickly began to fall just as fast as they went up into the air, there decent would cover all over the feild and outside. Making the battle feild become deadly once more to be around. Daniel stepped to the right following his hand, he sept into the spike once more disappearing from sight as the senbons fell to the earth. Reaching all around the battle feild and the inside the shadow blocking the sun was no more, but the senbons kept falling quickly as gravity gripped them and pulled them to earth.
Daniel now inside the spike he dropped to a knee breathing hard as this took a large chuck of chakra to preform. and his stamina not so great he knew he would be able to last much longer. Daniel quickly stood up. His eyes still gleeming blue, they began to fade as his chakra level dropped. He closed his eyes listening. He knew that an attack like this would have to atleast make a single scratch on the Jonnin. Hoping he didnt kill him cause he was a fellow Kiri-nin, Daniel knew that he had to prove himself as an elite Kaguya.
Re: Daniel vs Denkiteki (Private, No kill)
Mon Dec 10, 2012 12:10 am
Denkiteki felt the ground move as the first spike came out of the ground, 10 feet in diameter. It was completely made of bone, much to his surprise, That thing is huge, how did he do that? Denkiteki was surprised by just how large the spike was, it was amazing that his opponent could create something so large. Denkiteki wondered if he would retract the spike after that, or if he would somehow exit through the bones. After seeing such a display, Denkiteki would be willing to believe that his opponent may be capable of moving through his own bones.
Denkiteki was convinced that things couldn’t get more interesting, until he heard the scream. He turned and watched as a spike came out of the ground, impaling one of the watching shinobi. Denkiteki saw that it was the Jounin that had helped him train not to long ago, before he had ranked up. His students had also been attending, even the boy Denkiteki had gotten into a argument with and who had inspired him to push himself harder. More spikes seemed to erupt around them and the other spectators, some getting impaled and others getting knocked over as the earth moved. Denkiteki saw that spikes seemed to randomly be popping out of the ground all around him, and that it wouldn’t be long before the spikes got to him too.
Making a decision, Denkiteki quickly moved towards the location of the spectators. He was forced to dodge a few spikes as they began to move out of the ground, but luckily he was fast enough to avoid them before he too was impaled. By the time he made it to the spectators, all of the spikes there had been grown near them were finished, and Denkiteki and the other shinobi could only listen and watch as more spikes grew around them.
Blood dripped from some of the spikes, the blood of shinobi who had just wanted to watch to powerful shinobi fight. Why had the older boy done that? What was he trying to do? Denkiteki felt angry, lives had been extinguished because this boy had either been unable to control his jutsu, or he had done it on purpose. Either way, Denkiteki wasn’t going to make him pay. Blue eyes turned red as he gave into his madness, his urge to kill and destroy. Unlike before though, this time he gave it a true purpose. He felt himself grow stronger, he felt more able.
Unsure as to where his opponent, who was now an enemy, would appear, he began to perform hand seals. He was stopped abruptly however, when the boy he had argued with ran up to him, “You! You have to do something, help! Please!” The boy grabbed on to him, his teammates following. They seemed surprised to see his appearance, the glowing red eyes and the fangs. But it only stopped them for a moment, soon the 3 of them stood close to him, thinking that it meant he could somehow protect them from this jutsu.
Despite his rage, Denkiteki felt a need to protect these students, who had inspired him to progress as far as he had. He felt protective over them, sort of like how he felt towards Minorin though not as strongly. These kids meant something to him, so Denkiteki knew he had to do what he could to protect them.
Under normal circumstances Denkiteki wouldn’t care for the other shinobi around, but they had come to watch a fight between two powerful shinobi. Their presence was one big compliment to Denkiteki, and the Kaguya had murdered a few of them. Even as he stood between a few spikes, he could hear the sounds of some of those impaled by the spikes that were still alive. They had been hit in a non-vital area, but would bleed out soon enough.
As the bones stopped growing out of the ground, Denkiteki wondered just how large this bone forest was. As far as he could tell, it expanded quite a distance, but he could barely see through the line of thick spikes all around him. Did it extend into the village? The training grounds weren’t but so far away, what if this boy had destroyed houses, killed innocent civilians as well? There was little chance of any non-shinobi’s being able to escape the jutsu, their only hope being that the spikes did not hit them.
Denkiteki and the 3 Genin were rather cramped, the spikes were hardly spaced out. Denkiteki could still walk through the forest of spikes, though he would have had to turn his body to move between them at some places. His now red eyes scanned the area, wondering where his opponent would rise from the ground. He wished that his sensory range was longer, but unfortunately it wasn’t, and he would have to move around to find his opponent. He didn’t want to leave the kid’s alone, but he thought he would have to.
Almost as soon as that thought was finished, he spotted objects that looked like the bone senbon from before beginning to fly into the air. They seemed like they were spreading out from a single location, which to Denkiteki could only mean that his opponent was going to bombard the forest he had already created.
Quickly doing the hand seals, Denkiteki heard the ground beneath him move as his jutsu took affect. As the senbon began their descent, 10 spikes made out of Earth burst from the ground. Appearing from spaces where there were no bone spikes, these earthen ones came out in angles that blocked the senbon from reaching Denkiteki and the students. The spikes were half of a meter thick each, allowing them to be created in between spikes. They were 3 meters long as well, even though they were at an angle the ends of the spikes were still above Denkiteki.
The spikes formed a small protective barrier above Denkiteki and the Genin as the senbon fell from the sky, the senbon stabbing through the spikes instead of Denkiteki or the other kids. It rained for quite some time, the senbon stabbing through the spikes in some places. Luckily though they did not go through far enough to hit the 4 kids as they waited for the attack to stop. In the end only a few senbon had struck Denkiteki’s spikes, the senbon had been spread out a lot in order to cover more ground. However that meant there would be less senbon hitting a single spot.
Once the attack ceased Denkiteki channeled his chakra through one of the spikes, disconnecting it from the ground before pushing it over. The spikes he had created had made it impossible for the group to be able to move as long as they were there. Luckily Denkiteki’s jutsu allowed him to move them by disconnecting them. The spike fell to the ground, and the 4 kids exited the protective barrier of spikes Denkiteki had created.
The place was silent, it seemed everyone except for the 4 of them had been killed. Denkiteki clenched his fist, this was unnecessary. None of them had to die, his opponent didn’t need to go as far as he had. He would have to pay, either with his life or by being sent into a jail cell broken and bloody. Knowing that he wouldn’t be able to find his opponent in this forest, he knew he would have to destroy it. The Young Snake of Kirigakure would have to summon his father’s partner, Hajime, for this.
Performing the hand seals quickly, Denkiteki told the kids to move close to him as he slammed his palm into the ground. A large puff of smoke surrounded the are a for a moment, before a giant snake appeared. Hajime was at his maximum size, 150 meters long and 13 meters thick. His scales were hardened as well, though because of his size the forest of spikes might as well have been a bed of nails. Even without his hardened scales they would not have pierced him, as his weight was distributed amongst so many spikes he may as well have been on a floor.
Denkiteki and the Genin stood atop the giant snakes head, as he moved around looking at the forest of bones, “Quite a mess has been made here, you’ll have to tell me about it later Denkiteki.” The snake said with a chuckle. He then began to move, focusing his weight forward as he moved at a decent speed despite his size. Because of his weight and the hardness of his scales, bone spikes were uprooted as he moved, the forest slowly being destroyed as the snake carefully smashed through it. He would be cut here and there, but no spike would penetrate him deeply. If his opponent did nothing, the training field would be cleared of bones in a minute or two.

Daniel was inside of the bone spike. Feeling the bones begin to break due to the weight of the snake. He quickly began to run through each spike. As soon as he thought he was in the clear he stepped out infront of the Mizukage himself.
"Hmmm... manslaughter? and Murder?."
"I do not deny i preformed that jutsu."
Reaching to his side he unclipped the katana lying on his lower back. The Katana dropped to the ground. He stood straight up. Standing infront of the anbu and Kage he was not going to fight.
"I did not intentionally kill those shinobi. Though it happened. It was not my intentions to kill anyone in this fight. I will come willingly, Mizukage. "
looking up Daniel looked a Denkiteki
"I am sorry for your loss Jonnin, Like i had said before. I had no intentions of killing anyone in this fight."
Looking back twords the kage and the anbu Daniel reached down picking up his katana. His motions were not threatening. Daniel walked forward twords the kage and the anbu. Daniel stopped holding his katana out,
"This is my only wepon on me. Take it as i see fighting will do nothing to help my case in this matter."
Daniel was now ready to face judgement, but his actions were only due to the situation he was in. If he had intentions to kill anyone, he would have done so by actually killing them with his hands.
Daniel stood infront of them prepared to join them without a fight. A wise man knows when to pick his battles. and this, this is not that situation. Looking back at the forest of bones, he turned his head back. Daniel wasnt ready to die. All of his hard work would not be wasted for a ill faded attempt to run, or fight. He understands that what happened was intensly wrong, though he did not relize that the Shinobis watching were in a danger zone. He simply thought that a Jonnin could simply handle a situation as so.
