Kicking left and right while still holding the hand seal to control his gigantic machine of wooden doom Rin noticed attacking crocodile waves were starting to get thin. Well, it was no surprise, they must have knocked out a few hundred by now. In fact it was surprising or even sensational to see that many of the things in one place. On top of that, the reason that made the poor animals start acting this way was still a mystery to them. Kicking one more croc into the air where his wooden branches would catch it and send it down into the tank with its friends, Rin finally got tired of his construct. He momentarily bent his knees, exhaling loudly still holding the hand seal and the construct exploded into many long branches and root and vines, a 30 meter high vortex of wood and rock. All the crocodiles already collected were pressed to the bottom of this new creation. It would catch any crocodile within 40 meters of it and "eat it" at the same time smaller vines would emerge from the earth trapping and binding anything that was missed. In all this Rin noticed others now not holding too much back. Xyxer was bitch-slapping tons of crocs it moments, if there was a term dps, or damage per second then Xyxer would have cps - crocs per second roughly at 13.7, it was a feat. Trying to keep up with him was Jinn. Hitting his victims with the sheath of his blade the man was leaving a trail or green lizards, perfect for Rin to harvest. There were also other people fighting, most of them using hand to hand. The chuunin noticed a bit in a distance the Tenkage unleashing an impressive looking technique, some sort of chakra armor, immediately exploding into a hill of crocodiles. Like this they would suppress the beasts in a matter of minutes. Not relaxing on the final spurt Rin channeled even more chakra into his technique growing massive roots right underneath himself, making them carry him while he focused on catching every crocodile left behind by his comrades.

Xyxer halted his momentous bitch slaps for just a second as he noticed an aura seem to surround the Tenkage, and his speed had none the less improved. This made Xyxer grin with anticipation; their fight would be great and he would love every second of it. With a jutsu like that, he'd have to be on the offensive, and Xyxer definitely looked forward to that. None the less, it appeared that he was being challenged as "Beater of Crocs" and that just would not do! Using a single hand seal, Xyxer would summon two clones either side of him whom would flank off, each one slapping with each tiny movement they made, his speed of knocking crocodiles unconscious now increasing significantly as he cleared them extremely fast. He would be the victor in this battle!

Finishing off the last of his crocs Shinji threw it up and into the pile he had made. He then, using his full speed, rushed back to his office to freshen up. He was done for the day. The evening sun dipped below the horizon and made his shadow long as he blurred back into the village. A bit of sweat dripped down his brow-it was all in a days work for a crocodile hunter. Who ever was to blame for this croc invasion was either a mad god or a genius, but in the back of his mind Shinji thanked them. It had been a fun day. All that remained was to go take a piping hot shower and of course enact his new village defense plan that involved a lot of digging. Maybe he would get Xyxer to do it......

Takeo stood amongst a pile of unconscious crocodiles. During the 'battle' he had managed to get a rather small number of the crocodiles into unconscious on his own. He was rather satisfied with his efforts, the number was insignificant compared to the number of crocodiles that the other shinobi who were also present had managed to tally up between themselves. He let out a long yawn and scanned across the area one more time. There didn't seem to be many crocodiles remaining in the area, that were concious..or alive, so he deemed that it was time to head home himself. Today had been a rather eventful day, if not a bit troublesome with having to wrestle with crocodiles for what seemed like the entirety of it. As he made his way back inside the village he pondered over what brought on the sudden surge in crocodiles, and also why Xyxer had now seemed to turn into an animal documentary....person. Honestly Takeo didn't really care, the situation had been dealt with and that's all that mattered to him anyway.

The battle was nearing its end. Only a few crocodiles came in the last wave and they were pretty much finishing roughing up those still moving. Rin noticed Xyxer create some clones which increased the rate of him taking down crocs even more. The Tenkage was not doing a sloppy work either, blitzing across the field taking down the green stuff in groups, leaving small piles of them after himself. All in all they were already victorious, just picking up some who evaded the main part. Rin relaxed a bit, moving his wooden vortex away from his big pile of crocodiles he had gathered and making it merge into one big oak, just outside the village gates. It will be somewhat like a monument to this fight, however one sided it was. He smiled, shaping one of the big branches of the oak like a crocodile head. Perfect.
As the remaining crocodiles were being defeated one by one, Rin started the clean up. He used his still active wood release to gather all the defeated crocodiles into one big pile, a hill of meat just outside the village. After that he returned to his post, on the wall. He should include his thoughts of the cause of this flood as well as suggestions of what do to with the mass of crocodiles in today's report...

He could feel it surging through him. The power! He couldn't help it no longer, he could feel his true calling beckoning to him. He was the crocodile hunter! Letting out a mighty roar, along with his clones, Xyxer would continue to run further away from Tengakure as he knocked multiple crocodiles unconscious. Soon, he would disappear from sight, just leaving a trail of unconscious crocs and perhaps a little bit of blood in his path. He was the victor today.

Kenchi would look around, everything seemed to be completed so far. He would sigh, summoning his Ogre back to its world. He would walk away with the scroll held carefully within his hand.
