Mission Topic: Tree Climbing Gone Wrong

He was assigned to a mission where a little boy was stuck in
a tree. One of the branches broke and he could not get down. The report said
the little boy was forty meters high in the tree. Senba did not see this as a
problem. There was a warning on the report though cautioning that there was a
hornet nest in the tree. Senba laughed and thought it was a joke. This could be
a problem though so he would have to be careful not to disturb any of the
hornets, or if he had to drown them all in the tree. He leaped from rooftop to
rooftop seeing the village gates and all the villagers looking up in the tree.
Senba could not see the child, guessing he was hidden by the leaves. He arrived
at the destination shortly and the hornets were already stirred up.
This made Senba sigh and thought to himself “Great, I was
hoping to avoid that, but oh well cannot do anything about it now.”
He went to talk to one of the villagers and asked “Where is
the child?”
The villager turned to him and pointed to the tree “There he
is please get him down.”
The child was a boy, and very young. How he got all the way
up there was beyond Senba’s belief, but he did not question it. He walked up to
the tree and inspected it putting his hand on the trunk. He could feel the
vibration from the buzzing of the hornets from the bottom.
Senba thought to himself “They are really agitated.”
Senba jumped up onto a branch and waited to see if the
hornets would come after him. They did not and he continued up the tree. He got
about twenty meters high when he saw that the hornets were swarming around. He
did not like this, only half way up and the hornets are there. This would delay
him getting up there for a few minutes. He waited as the hornets settled down
thinking that the threat moved on. Senba took this opportunity to leap up and
gain more ground before the hornets started swarming again. He got about thirty
meters high this time, and waited for the hornets to calm down. The villagers
were silent and starring. The child watched as Senba climbed up. The hornets
calmed down and he charged up the tree grabbing the child and jumping down to a
nearby branch. The hornets apparently did not see this for they went up as
Senba was going down. He rushed down and the child ran to his mother.
Senba stated “Please clear from the tree the hornets are
really agitated. I do not want any of you to get stung.”
They did as he said and Senba’s mission was accomplished.
