There have been reports that multiple people have had their paintings stolen from their homes or shops. Find the thief and bring him in by any means, while at the same time returning the stolen arts, or what remains, safely back to the rightful owners.
Ringo awoke on a monday after his long training in the mountains to a letter in his mailbox. inside the letter was a detailed mission about a thief in the village who had stolen very expensive paintings from an upper class mans home. Ringos mission was to locate the theif and bring back the art. The thief on the other hand could be dead or alive depending on the danger of the mission. Ringo read the message and then began his breakfast. Apparently the thief was to strike again at a large house in the middle of town where a rare painting was in easy reach of a low criminal. It was a good trap and it was already set for him by the kage himself. Ringos plan was to sneak into the house before night and await the criminal there disguised as a sculpture that was near the painting with his transformation technique, it would be the perfect surprise for a unknowing theif.
When night began Ringo was already in place. a few hours went by and Ringo began thinking that maybe the thief wouldnt come when down a few feet from the painting a door opened. Sure enough it was a man dressed in full black. He most definately wasnt even a ninja, He was just plain walking and fumbling about the room in the dark were a ninja would have crept in silently not making a sound and leaving just as quickly making even less sound then before. Ringo released the jutsu as the criminal began lifting the painting slowly off the wall. Ringo cleared his throat loudly as to make sure the man knew someone was behind him. As the man turned Ringo wasted no time in letting the man react and punched him in the face as he turned knocking him clean out. Ringo had brought some rope with him earlier to tie the burglar up if he'd ever catch him and he tied it around the mans wrists making sure they were uncomfortably tight, he also put cloth in his mouth so he couldnt talk. so if the man came to he couldn't move or anything. The kage's plan worked great just as Ringo hung the picture back up on the wall he heard someone coming down the hall. He quickly moved to his old spot were hed played statue for hours and turned back into a statue. A similarly black dressed man walked in the room "o god, steve what happened" the man on the floor tried moving and screaming to warn his partner of the ninja directly next to him but was too late and the free burglar went over to untie his partner as he fumbled with the tight knot Ringo broke his disguise and stood directly over the unaware criminal Ringo tapped the man on the shoulder and he froze. The man knew whoever did this was behind him. In a desperate attempt the man turned and flung his fist at ringos face as fast as he could. Ringo saw the man turning and raising his fist and immediately ducked as the mans fist passed over Ringo he let out a powerful jab to the mans side. He fell straight to the floor in pain and began to even cry a little. Ringo had little humor after his family's death but he enjoyed the patheticness of his victims in this case. Ringo didnt even need rope for the second criminal he stood him up and pushed him along out the house, he picked up the other man on his shoulder and left for the kage's room. He didnt get the stolen items back but if anyone would get what they wanted out of these guy through interigation the kage was probably the best anyways. Ringo left the criminals outside the kage's office with the guards and went home it was very late and Ringo was ready for more rest before he went back to training.
