A simple patrol mission

Kadaj, being ordered to travel to Sunagakure for patrol duty made him quite upset. Compared to where he was from he knew this was going to be a rough experience. Kadaj sighs knowing he was the one who wanted a mission, but he never expected such a tedious travel such as this. As the climate starts to change from damp and swampy to humid and dry he knew he has almost arrived.

Now, with the village in his view, Kadaj looks for the gate captain who was supposedly aware of this soon to be guard. Kadaj quickly enters the village using the paper work he was supplied before he left, finding the captain was easy, all Kadaj did was look for the most prestigious man by the gate. Kadaj’s job was to start from the top of the main gate and circle around it until he made it back here. Sighing Kadaj begins his patrolling duty Kadaj didn't expect to see anything but he stayed ever vigilant nevertheless, about half way through Kadaj, in a pool of his own sweat takes a seat, the ground even hotter than him. Relaxing for about twenty minutes trying to catch his own breath was alright, because no one noticed him it seems he is one of the only people patrolling this part of the wall. Kadaj starts to ease himself up slowly using the wall behind him as support he slowly finishes his patrolling job, not seeing anything of great value, just sand, lot and lots of sand. As Kadaj makes his way back to the main gate he is greeted by the captain, Kadaj gives his report, one that the captain most likely hears every single evening, after the report Kadaj heads to a inn feeling accomplished he rests before a long journey home.
