Yeah, probably. Den would deal with the Senju problem later though, for now it was time to experiment.
"This is Den's lab, where he performs his own personal studies and experiments. Not to many people get to come here, I think you might be the.... third living person that Den's allowed in here." Takehiko tried to be as helpful as he could, so he hoped Haru found his answer satisfactory. Honestly though, if Den hadn't ordered him to be helpful Take didn't know how he'd want to act towards the boy. He didn't like Den associating with body snatchers and those who tried to steal Kekkai Genkai, he didn't want Den to indulge in to much criminal behavior. He's the Tenkage now, I really hope this doesn't become a habit.
When Den returned, he wasn't surprised the boy didn't have a Sharingan, he was a Hyuga after all and Den could see his eyes. He wasn't aware that one was fake of course, Den was a skilled Medical Nin but he wasn't that observant as to be able to spot a fake doujutsu without examining it. Den thought about giving the kid his Sharingan, but he wasn't going to do that unless he was sure Haru could become a Sage and there were no other options. Den had grown rather attached to the eye, taken from a fallen comrade who had drowned with Kiri.
Den used Sanctuary to clean the needle of the syringe as he walked over to Haru and Takehiko, and if Haru didn't move he would unceremoniously stab him in the arm and inject the serum, giving no warning beforehand. "I'm sure we'll deal with that at some point. I do have Uchiha DNA if you need that however, but no spare eyes. We'll need to wait a bit though, because your body needs to adjust to the Senju DNA." Den probably could inject the Uchiha DNA right then and there, but he had never done that before with his serum and didn't want to risk it. So they'd wait.

Den’s lab… Apparently, this was something special, as Takehiko informed him that Haru was one of very few who had entered. That struck Haru as odd, since a medical ninja’s job was to heal people, wasn’t it? Or was Den the type to reengineer DNA and the like? Either way, the atmosphere the room carried for Haru was unnatural, strange. The hospitals weren’t even this clean! Takehiko would remain silent, along with Haru, not sure of what to say. He still wasn’t quite sure if he was to be punished or not… Just because he was getting some free blood did not mean he’d be exempt from consequences.
Still, he could cross that bridge when he got to it.
With this phase of the plan all but completed, Haru’s mind wandered to the location of his future eye. It would have been nice to use his other eye as a bargaining chip, but that hadn’t exactly gone as planned… He remembered that Shinji had possessed a Sharingan… Perhaps there was another one laying around somewhere for him to… commandeer? He wouldn’t steal one, of course. Having a Dojutsu stolen is far from a pleasant experience, Haru knew from experience.
Den reappeared with a needle in his hands, filled with what he could only assume was Rin’s blood. Haru waited patiently as the needle stuck through his skin, and felt a rather unpleasant pressure as he was effectively pumped like a balloon with Senju DNA
”Couldn’t hurt.” He would say simply to Den’s offer of Uchiha blood. He wanted to turn on his byakugan and look around, to find out where the lab was located, but he didn’t want to do it in front of Den, lest the lab be some sort of secret location that he wasn’t supposed to know about.
Since they would have to wait a little bit, Haru decided to ask a question while he had the chance. ”So will Rin’s death affect our ANBU training at all?” He would ask, crossing his arms. ”Since we’re now a three man team, counting Yozora.” He would say. Haru was still unaware of Yozora’s death, since Takeo was too stupid to tell him such important details during a high-stakes mission.

Den hadn't given any thought as to what he should do about Haru's training. Everyone except him was basically gone or dead, he was the last Anbu Trainee of the bunch Yozora picked out. He entertained the thought of trying to promote the boy now, seeing as now the village was short on Anbu as well, but he had no way of knowing if he was ready. Denkiteki supposed he could test the boy and see what he was capable of, if he deserved a promotion or not. It would have to take place a bit after Den was done poking and prodding him with needles though, Den didn't like having his patients/experiments running around and fighting shortly after he was done with them, even when it was just something that involved a few shots. Hopefully the boy would prove capable of being an Anbu, with so many people dying or leaving the village Den needed all the help he could get, and having another Anbu to rely on would be great.
"I'm sorry, but Yozora is gone as well..." so many people were disappearing, suddenly dying without cause or reason. As a medical nin, Den couldn't help but feel responsible. Part of the reason he took Rin's body was so that, maybe, he could find out what killed him and what probably killed Yozora. He'd figure it out somehow, how to ensure whatever disease killed them wouldn't end the life of an of his other shinobi.
"We'll have to find some other way for you to continue your Anbu training, but for now we'll have to focus on making sure you become capable of acquiring the Rinnegan." Having a shinobi with that power was far more important to Den than having another Anbu. If Haru could acquire the power of the Sage of Sixth Paths, and of Madara Uchiha, that would do wonders for the village. Den only hoped that the components for Rinnegan were simply Senju and Uchiha DNA, but of course that was only a theory. Den knew from the biography of Naruto that he owned that Rinnegan came from the Sharingan, but the Uchiha who gained Rinnegan was also one that had acquired the DNA of Hashirama, a Senju capable of Wood Release. That, combined with the legend that The Ancestor of the Uchiha and the Senju were both sons of the Sage, had led Den to this conclusion that Senju DNA was needed.

”No way…” He muttered. Haru felt like he’d been hit by a train. Yozora was dead, too? How was this all happening? This must have proved Haru had no involvement, at least, because he’d had no idea this had happened to Yozora. Den was a medical ninja, so hopefully he’d be able to tell what was killing these people. It had only just occurred to Haru that he’d just had blood from Rin, who had died of whatever sickness it was, transfused into him. He could only hope Den had made sure to check for viruses and the like. Up until now, Haru himself had not really thought this through all that much.
Den responded to the subject of Haru’s training a little uncertainly. He was, after all, the last remaining member of his team still in Tengakure. As was he the last remaining member of his genin team. How depressing. Maybe he’d just be promoted now? Doubtful. He’d done quite well in his missions, at least, in his own opinion, but that seemed the type of thing you’d hear happening to the hero of some storybook tale. He’d have to work for this.
”So my training IS still ongoing? I was worried it would be canceled since most of my team is gone…” Said Haru, expressing what he was truly worried about. He was very exited about being an ANBU, and losing his chance at that promotion would be awfully depressing for him.

"Yeah, we'll have to figure out what to do with the Trainee program later. Like I said, lets focus on getting you Rinnegan." Den supposed Haru was ready for the Uchiha DNA, so he would walk ove rot a drawer and take out a syringe filled with the DNA of some Uchiha woman one of his clones had found impaled into a tree. Moving so that he was 10 meters from Haru, whose presence would disrupt Den's ability to manipulate Sanctuary, Den would make yet another serum. After he was done, he'd once again walk over to Haru and inject him, aiming the needle to pierce his right arm.
"Alright, now you'll just need a sharingan, and we'll have to figure it out from there."

Well… Where would Haru get his hands on a Sharingan? He doubted a person would just happen to show him a dead uchiha and offer to trade the eyes for something, perhaps a byakugan he conveniently found on a corpse of another Hyuuga who would just drop dead in front of him? Not likely. He’d probably have to kill an Uchiha himself, and since it was unlikely one of them would just decide to leave without permission and become a missing ninja, trying to go to, I don’t know, Kumogakure, Haru would have to hope he got lucky and found an Uchiha missing nin on a mission. Not casually running out the gates after sticking a letter to Den’s door by some unknown means and running out without waiting for approval from the kage. No, these ideas were just too outrageously unlikely to be relied on. But still, Haru had a feeling he’d get lucky. So, hoping the Tenkage wouldn’t pursue it, he would shrug.
”I’m working on locating a sharingan already, and I’ve got the feeling I’m getting close” He would say vaguely, looking around the room. It was very strange, to say the least. It seemed almost unnatural to him, and he had the feeling he was very far away from home. ”So where exactly are we?” he would ask Den, hoping it wasn’t some sort of top secret information he wasn’t yet allowed to know. His curiosity would kill him if he didn’t find out.

Should Den reveal to Haru that he had not only teleported them out of the village, but in fact had transported them to a realm in which he was god and for the most part could do whatever the hell he wanted.
Nah.
"We're about 10 kilometers out from the village, deep underground. Wasn't easy digging this place out, but when you have Earth Nature as your affinity I suppose it could be worse." Den managed to make up the lie on the spot, which surprised both him and Takehiko, who was still in the room. He had moved off to one of the stations in Den's lab.

Underground. Haru felt his claustrophobia starting to kick in, but he tried to fight it. After all, having a panic attack in front of your Kage wasn’t the best thing for your image. So he would keep calm and glance around the room harmlessly, desperate to activate his eye. It struck him that Den mentioned having earth affinity, which would allow, among other things, techniques that let the user sense their surroundings without dojutsu. Which could be useful.
”You dug this place out with earth jutsu?” He asked, at this point, just killing time until his blood transfusions set in. ”Must be an awfully handy power to have.” He would add, staring at a spot in the ceiling longingly.

"Yeah it's fairly useful." After he spoke Den wondered what sort of elements Haru had. Maybe it would be wise to see if the boy could develop Wood release, as that could prove to be a great power alongside obtaining the Rinnegan.
"What elements have you mastered?" It was a simple question. Den wondered if he should try and teach the boy Earth Release. Unfortunately Den did not possess Water, so if the boy did end up wanting to learn wood he'd have to seek out a teacher somewhere else or learn on his own.
