It was another day, and on this particular type of day, it made everything wet. The ground was being soaked, along with everything else. It had started raining early that morning, and had not stopped sense. Ryou enjoyed these types of day's, he believed it helped with training. Today was the day Rypu decided he wanted to train not in jutsu, but purely train his body. He had not trained his body that way in several months. Ryou had packed his bags early that morning, he had everything he needed after packing. As soon as Ryou was done, he quickly rushed out of his home to the abandoned training field. It was Ryou's favorite place to train, especially when it was raining.
Ryou ran to the training field, he assumed that running would help him with his training. Ryou had decided he would be hard on himself today, he was going to push himself to the limits. Today Ryou wanted to get faster, it would probably take him a few days to successfully become faster but he had a plan. He had filled his bag up with a whole bunch of bricks, and things he had found. "Woah... this thing really is heavy. I hope it helps with my speed, I want to quickly strike down my opponents with my vicious attacks." Ryou was really fueled today, he was happy.
Ryou ran full speed to the training grounds, and by time he got there he was quite winded. As he reached the training field, Ryou would catch his breath. Ryou had planned that he would run around through the training field, and through the tree tops. Carrying the heavy bag would surely help increase his speed. When Ryou caught his breath, he quickly started jogging so that he could keep his warmed up body warmed up. "I love the feeling my body gets when I work out like this, I really miss it." Ryou smiled, and started running around the training field, doing high knee's as he jogged.
After Ryou felt he was truly warmed up, he would then proceed to running with all of the speed he could muster up. At first Ryou just simply jumped from side to side, dodging tree's and other things in his way. Ryou was hoping by doing this he would increase his speed, and also increase his reflexes as well. Ryou would continue to run for a while, he was getting badly tired. Ryou would have to stop off at a tree, and sit for a second, he had not worked so hard in a very long time. "Wow I am really tired now, I have not done anything like this in a while, I will start doing it more often.
Ryou would stay at the tree for about a hour and rest. He needed it, but he did not care about time. He had all the time he needed, he would be off for a few days. If Ryou did not feel he needed any more training, he wouldn't come back, if he felt he did. Ryou would continue. Right now Ryou knew he had to keep on going. After about a hour, Ryou stood up, and started running again. He was fatigued just a little, but he knew that was a good thing. As Ryou continued to run, he would proceed to jump up on the side of a tree, and then make his way up. Once Ryou made his way up the tree he would stop on a branch, and then scout around. Once Ryou spotted a good direction to go, he would then proceed to jumping from tree to tree. It was tiring, but Ryou felt he could continue on. He was a strong guy, and he believed in himself. Being alone was the only true way for him to express himself.
Once Ryou started jumping, he was getting a break, but he was also having to working his leg muscles when he jumped. As he continued to jump, he felt like he was slower than usual. This whole time Ryou felt he had been running slower. "It must be because of the heavy bag." Ryou decided right then that taking the back with him was a great idea. As Ryou continued he would come across a spot where no tree's were. When Ryou reached the last tree before the clear area, he would lung forward. As he did, Ryou would preform a couple of back flips in the air, but the back made his timing off, and instead of hitting the ground perfectly, Ryou landed head first into the ground. It reminded him a lot of the awful day he had a while back, but Ryou simply got up, and shook off the pain. He was not badly hurt. He just tore his uniform just a little.
When Ryou got up, he continued to run, the place was very open, and peaceful. When Ryou reached this area, he noticed that he was dry. He did not understand how he did not notice the rain had stopped. "Well that's weird, but oh well." Ryou just continued forward. Ryou was getting very tired now, he was getting very fatigued. He was getting dizzy, along with a little stomach pain. His sight was blurring just a little. Then he finally decided that he would have to stop, and rest in just a few minutes.
Ryou would run for a few more minutes, but it slowed down to a soft jog, and he was breathing hard. "Boy am I tired, I need to take a break." Ryou would finally find another spot by a tree, he would slide down, and lean on his bag. His legs were in pain, but he just simply ignored it, and enjoyed his surrounding. It had not yet clicked that he knew not where he was. He would eventually noticed that he had not kept up with where he was heading.
After Ryou had stopped to take a rest under a tree, he feel asleep and did not wake up until the next morning. When Ryou awoke he was surprised. He had not noticed that he had wondered so far that he no longer remembered the way back home. "Ahhh.. well shit never mind, but okay time to start training again." Ryou rose up, only to fine that his body was extremely swore. He felt like his body was going to fall apart, but eventually Ryou just ignored the pain, and he went on and picked up his back, and placed it on his back. Then finally Ryou would start back off, and start running once again. This time it was not very fast. His body was way to swore, it was more of a test to see just how far Ryou could push his body.
As Ryou ran, it turned into a small slow jog, His body hurt so bad. If he was to get in a fight he would not be able to stand up for himself. His muscles felt like they were completely gone, and nothing was left. The more Ryou jogged the more his body hurt, and the more his body hurt the more he wanted to stop, and fall down, and just take it easy. Every bit of Ryou's brain wanted him to stop jogging, but the fact was that Ryou was ignoring it, and by doing so he was pushing his body to a new level. After a good fifteen minutes of jogging, Ryou was able to speed it up a little. He could no longer feel the pain his body was in, it was not healed, but he was not hurting. Sometimes you can be hurt, and you don't realizehe pain until you see it. That is similar to what happened to Thou.
As Ryou kept jogging, his speed rose, and he would eventually start running fairly fast. He would continue to run, and run. Ryou was now trying to find his way back to the training grounds, but it was not working. Yes he was running faster, but he seemed to run in circles. Every turn he took, he ended up at the same spot as before. "Gahh... Are you kidding me really?" This angered Ryou a little, and it caused him to feel the pain of his body again. His body started to hurt, and again his speed slowed. This time Ryou had to stop beside a tree once again, and take a break. He was breathing heavy again, and he just hurt so bad that he had to stop.
While Ryou stopped he would look around, he wanted to start running again, but he did not know the right place to start, but then Ryou spotted the tree that he had just jumped off of the day before. "Ahh, there it is. Time to go." Ryou had to yet again ignore the pain of his body, and stand up. It was hard, it was more of a mental challenge than anything else. Ryou did not mind the challenge, he knew that one day he might be in a bigger bind than right now. Learning how to take the pain is a great way to deal with things.
When Ryou stood up, his legs shook a little. He finally caused them to stop, but his body was so badly fatigued that he was shaking. Ryou would finally get enough mental power built back up that he started running again. As he ran Ryou started ignoring the pain once again. He finally started running fairly fast, Ryou started feeling well enough to jump onto the side of a tree, and run up it. As he did, he would start hoping from tree to tree. It felt good to fly through the air to tree to tree. "Now I remember the way, It was luck though, I am so fatigued right now, I can't wait to get home, and get in bed." Ryou was looking forward to getting back home, but he would have to steadily fight the pain of his body to get back, to keep going, and going was extremely hard.
Ryou would continue jumping from tree to tree, but the final time he jumped, the fatigue hit him, and Ryou was so tired that he was not even able to activate his academy techniques. When Ryou landed on the tree, he quickly fell back down to the ground, and hit his head yet again. The pain barely bothered Ryou, he was so fatigued, and his body hurt so much anyway that he barely felt it. The one thing that did add on was the terrible head ache Ryou got from hitting his head. Ryou tried his best to push himself up, he shook his head, and got up on his feet. He gripped his back tightly, and kept walking. Ryou could no longer run, or even jog. He was too badly fatigued, but the fact that Ryou was still walking was a sign of pure will power.
As Ryou kept traveling he came to the training field one last time, Ryou decided he would find a nice place to sit down before he went back to his home. Ryou would look up at the sky as he sat down, his body was hurting so bad, but there was a peaceful moment. The sky was cloudy, and it looked like hell was about to fall from the sky, but Ryou was use to that, he enjoyed it that way. The rain was Ryou's ally, he enjoyed being in Kumogakure. He was proud of who he was. He might have had a hard time making it back, but the fact that Ryou had pushed his body far enough to keep moving. Ryou would be hurting for a while, but the rewards for his pain would be greater than the bad. Ryou felt like he had gained a great deal of not only speed, but confidence. Like they said, "No Pain, No Gain". Well, Ryo had certainly experienced a great deal of pain today, but he had also gained a great deal as well. He knew that this training would pay off.

Ryou puts the axe down and takes a little brake, rubbing his sore arms. For hours he has been slaving away at this giant tree, chopping wood for a big bonfire that him, his stepfather, his mother, and his half brother were having tonight. It was going to be fun, they were going to invite over some family friends and have a large get together. They did this every year on the anniversary of Ryou’s father’s disappearance. It was a sort of ritual, a superstition, the fire symbolized a beacon that was supposed to signal for his father to come back. Keeping up the superstition, Ryou’s family and friends tried to make the fire as big as possible each year, so that maybe his father could see it. Well, this year, Ryou could almost believe that his father might be able to see this fire. The tree that he had cut down had been quite a large one, and now an immense pile of logs sat next to him on the ground. Looking at the logs on the ground, Ryou gets an idea, he might as well have some fun before he does some more hard work and chops some more wood. He jumps back about 10 feet and squares up against the pile of logs, ready to test a skill that he has been working on for quite some time. Ryou examines his surrounds before attempting anything, a habit which he has trained himself to get into over the years. There is literally nothing around him but trees, trees line the ground on every side of him, with only about 5 feet of space in between each one. Their dense leaves block out the sun, filling the area with a dark gloom. There is a mountain poking up out of the ground on the horizon, the sun setting close behind it and casting a massive shadow. Ryou looks to see if anybody is around before conducting his quick training session.
He thrusts his hand outwards, drawing his boomerang from within his pants and hauling it with all his might; yet, it moves at quite a slow pace, moving at about the pace that Ryou walks. It sluggishly floats its way towards the nearest log, before the bladed edge digs into the soft wood of the log. Luckily, Ryou had the presence of mind to attach some ninja wire to this boomerang. Pulling the wire with all of his might, straining his muscles, Ryou manages to begin to drag the impaled log backwards. He drags and drags and drags, a sweat breaking above his brow, and soon his clothes grow moist, christened by his sweat. The log is slowly but surely dragged backwards, so that eventually, it ends up at Ryou’s feet. Ryou grins at the outcome of his hard work, even if that outcome is simply a log that was dragged a few feet. Ryou decides to continue this training, as this boomerang throwing ability that he possesses could prove to be quite useful. He decides to try something new, something which he has never been able to do before, but will attempt to do now. He tries to arc the boomerang around so that it will fly back to him, so that he may catch it. This was what the boomerang was meant for, and such a technique would prove to be extremely useful in combat. With an immense burst of energy, he tries to curve his palm outwards as he throws, yet this does not work either. Nothing seems to be working. His abilities thus far are still very limited, to the point where he can only lazily toss the boomerang at pathetic speeds, and it does not even return to his hand like it is meant to do.
Great. At this level, this ability was pretty much useless. He could not think of anybody who moved as slowly as his boomerang, he would not be able to catch anybody. Ryou disconnects the weapon from the log and begins to slowly reel it in, until he is holding the boomerang and wire in his right hand. He examines the blade of his weapon and its intricate crafting. Ryou had always assumed that boomerangs were low class weapons, as everyone else stuck to using swords and kunai and such. But this was different, this boomerang must have been made up of a different sort of material. The weapon was an almost golden color, with an eerie ethereal glow to it, that illuminated the area around Ryou. It was delicately crafted, and the carvings swirled into each other. The blade was the coolest and most intriguing part however. It was not very long, maybe a half foot to a foot long, Ryou was not yet very good at judging length. The first part of the blade depicted a dragons head, each scale delicately formed on it. The eyelid of the dragon was stretched all the way open, and each vein on it’s clear eyeball was etched delicately into it. The dragon’s nostrils flared and it’s mouth was gaping, revealing each of its brilliant, glowing teeth. The second part of the blade, the part that actually came around to form a sharp edge, took the shape of a flame, that tapered out to a razor sharp point. Each little detail of the hot dragon fire was perfectly crafted. This weapon was truly a work of art. Ryou wondered if all such boomerang looked the same, or if he had some sort of special edition, he had heard from someone that each boomerang boasted different designs. This intrigued Ryou greatly. He takes a deep breath, filling his lungs with oxygen and calming himself. He turns his attention back to the log pile and again begins to focus his mind and eyes on the task at hand. He decides to attempt the returning boomerang arc maneuver again. He knew he could do it, he had once seen a man cause a boomerang to perform 15 different arcs in the air, if this simple man could do that, then an aspiring ninja like Ryou could surely make one arc. He focuses his energy to the position of his hand, again preparing to rotate his wrist to the outside as he released the boomerang. He then releases the weapon explosively from his palm, hoping that the technique works this time. It does. A sweeping, gracefully arcing crescent is formed by the path of his weapon, and it moves a good two times faster than when it had been thrown in Ryou's previous attempt. Ryou tries to manipulate its movement further, making it move in different directions with his four meters of wire as he had seen that man do, but this doesn’t work, he is still only capable of making it arc a little bit. This is enough for him at the moment though, he plans on bringing his skills to higher levels and training them more. He knows that someday he will be able to use his boomerang skills as expertly as he had seen this man use them. Someday he will find the man he saw do this again, and when he does, he will make him proud by showing him how well he has mastered the sublime art of the boomerang.
Ryou watches as his weapon burrows into two different logs this time, expertly hooking its prey. He grins, he can see himself become more and more adept with this boomerang, with enough training, he will be able to master it soon enough. The boomerang feels lighter and more comfortable now, and it is not as difficult for him to drag the two logs back to his feet with the combination of the boomerang and the wire. It is still somewhat difficult though, it is no cakewalk. After a couple minutes of pulling and mild effort, these two logs end up at his feet as well. There are now three logs at his feet, but still a good 60+ logs in the pile. He plans to move them all with his boomerang and wire, regardless of how long this may take. This will be very good training. Now that he is done chopping wood, Ryou has the rest of the day to train, something which he greatly enjoys doing. He finds the process of training very gratifying, and he loves to watch his abilities progress before his eyes and feel the new power that pumps through his body. Ryou looks out at the horizon, and can see the sun beginning to dip slightly. The day is still certainly not old, but it is no longer early, and Ryou’s time is becoming limited. He estimates that it must be around 3:00 now. The bonfire will take place when the sun begins to set and it becomes dark, which on an early June day like this won’t be for another 6 or so hours. Ryou retracts puts his boomerang away for a second, putting it back into his pocket. He shakes out his tense muscles and takes a few seconds to clear his head and regain focus. Ryou’s mind has the tendency to wander a little bit, even when he is in the middle of an activity like training, or even battle. Perhaps this is because these things come easy to Ryou, or perhaps it is because he has ADHD. Ryou looks back at the pile of logs, determined to further his abilities with his favorite weapon.
Ryou decides that he will now try to improve his reflexes and coordination, and manipulate the direction of his boomerang even more. He points his palm facing directly outwards to the side of him, so that his arm is perpendicular to his sides. He draws his boomerang again while he does this. Again, Ryou focuses his energy to his wrists, careful to make sure that he rotates his wrist in the proper manner when he releases the boomerang, as to send it into another graceful arc. With a burst, the boomerang is sent flying out of his palm with even greater speed than it had before. The boomerang is moving even faster than Ryou now, which is far from slow. Ryou pours his strength and energy into the wire attached to the boomerang, taking an immense amount of concentration and energy. He is finally able to do it, and the boomerang begins to rotate in the direction in which he pulls, now not only being manipulated by Ryou's own hands, but his strength, speed, reflexes, and coordination has improved to a point where this feat is actually not to hard. It is not hard for Ryou to manipulate the course and the twist of his wires, he is able to bend it to his will. Now that he has control of the wire, whenever Ryou manipulates its movements, the boomerang will move with it. As Ryou curves his wire around to the side, moving it so that it swirls in the direction of the log pile, the boomerang moves with it.
Ryou can feel the new strength and resilience that he now has, and decides that he will try something even more daring than before. Instead of simply hooking two logs with his arcing boomerang, he is going to wrap the wire around multiple logs and pull a whole clump of them backwards; he will do this by making it so the boomerang circles around the pile with the wire still attached. Still manipulating the motion of his boomerang through the wire, when it reaches the level of the logs, he curls it around a clump of logs sitting near the top of the pile. The wire wraps around 5 logs. The newly strengthened Ryo clutches the logs tightly, and Ryou continues to curve them around until the blade of his boomerang digs into the center of the log pile, so that he has a better grip. With a firm grip on the logs, Ryou begins to drag each small, 5 log pile backwards, with his boomerang wrapped around a good portion of the entire pile. Even though Ryou has new strength, and it it is much easier to carry objects than before, Ryou is now carrying 10 logs, so naturally, with a load 5 times as big, even with increased strength, it is going to be much harder to carry this load. Sweat begins to drench Ryou’s body once again as he drags the heavy load of logs towards him. The previous sweat had evaporated into nothing but salt in the hot summer sun, so his body is coated is coated in a fine, white salt. The new flood of liquid sweat however soaks up the previous salt, sending the concentration of salt in the fluid skyrocketing. This new sweat is so salty, that it burns Ryou's skin and he yelps out loud, almost losing control of his boomerang. He silently curses as he continues to pull and the stinging sweat drips into his eyes. This causes him to close his irritated eyes, and again, he almost loses concentration. Not able to rub his eyes at the moment, Ryou resolves that he will continue to pull with his eyes closed. After what seems like ages of pulling, the small piles of logs eventually end up at his feet, he can feel them scrape up against the tips of his toes. Immediately, Ryou releases the boomerang from the logs and yanks it back into his palm like a yoyo.
He moves his now empty hands up to his face and rubs his eyes, feeling an instant flood of relief. He opens his eyes back up and the sun stings them as his pupils adjust to the new light. Ryou looks down at his feet, surveying the sizable pile of logs that has accumulated. An impressive total of 13 logs now sit in front of his feet, but there are still 50 or so to go, he still has a lot of work to do. Ryou will enjoy the training however, it will be a lot of work. This certainly beats doing chores though, Ryou hates chores. Ryou’s stepfather is a prominent blacksmith, and thus has work most of the time, so he is not around to do chores. He crafts much of the villages weaponry, and provides many shinobi with their tools. Rumor has it that he was once a great shinobi as well, but retired after a very traumatic battle experience. He was a weapons specialist, so naturally, he drifted to the art of crafting weapons for other shinobi. Currently, he was working on a special new weapon for Ryou for his next birthday, but he would not tell him what it was. This birthday was when a boy officially becomes a man, when they became independent from their parents and could make their own decisions. Naturally, this was a huge occasion for Ryou, and both he, and his makeshift family were very excited. This new weapon that his stepfather was crafting was going to be epic, it was going to be his big gift, and even on his more minor birthdays, Ryou’s big gifts were always extravagant. He was very excited for this new weapon, and could not even begin to guess what it was going to be. Again, Ryou’s mind has wandered from his training, he needs to get a hold on his ADHD so that he can continue training his boomerang techniques, he feels that even in this short training session, he has grown stronger and gotten a better grasp on his coordination and reflexes.
His ability to wield his boomerang and wire has certainly improved greatly. In this short period of time, it cannot have been more than an hour and a half since he started training, Ryou has gone from only being able to sluggishly toss his boomerang, to being able to manipulate the direction of it at the same time by pulling and manipulating the wire connected to the boomerang. Now it is time to see what other abilities he has unlocked with the boomerang. He had once seen the same boomerang not only control this boomerang with his hands, but with other parts of his body as well, and he decides that he will try and do this like the boomerang master did. Ryou takes a deep breath and refocuses his mind on the training, trying to achieve the same fierce concentration that he had before. This time, he not only focuses energy to his palms and wrists, but focuses some energy to his legs as well. Again, he focuses on manipulating the wire attached to the boomerang, but attempts to make more of it this time. He is able to focus enough energy to his feet, and the fastens the wire to his foot. After this, he will definitely need to take a rest. He focuses chakra to his feet so that he may have better control of the wire, but there is still some built up by his palms too, to have even better control of the handheld wire. With a massive explosion of force and energy, the boomerang bursts outwards, and Ryou tries to control it with his feet. Yet, this is an epic fail, how the hell would he be able to control a boomerang attached to a piece of wire with his feet? Perhaps he was trying to hard at this point, it was simply foolish. He was never going to have to control a boomerang with his feet in battle, heck, he doubted he would ever even use a boomerang in battle. Yet, the real benefit that Ryou had gotten out of this brief training session was greatly improved reflexes and coordination, and that was all that mattered. These were two of the most essential characteristics of a shinobi, and without them, Ryou was nothing. With a sigh, he resolves to abandon this brief, foolish training session for the moment, until he had a more productive technique to work on. Had he really just wasted this much time? He gathers his firewood and heads off towards the direction of the bonfire.

Ryou awoke bright and early that morning like he did most. He began to get dressed immediately pulling on some shorts, and a sleeveless shirt. Grabbing some shoes, Ryou ran to his kitchen as he began to prepare his protein filled breakfast; this was all part of his training for the day. First he began to scramble some eggs on the stove, and then he began to throw some previously shredded cheese onto the eggs as they cooked, so the cheese would melt perfectly. Leaving the eggs alone to cook for a minute, Ryou turned on some ramen. He added some spices to the ramen as well as one egg, and lots of pork. The more pork the more protein! As the food began to cook, Ryou poured himself a glass of milk, but only filled the cup about halfway, the other half he filled with eggs. Using a spoon of some kind, Ryou stirred the milk and eggs in the cup making a weird looking concoction to say the least. Ryou began to gulp down the ‘drink’ if you could call it that.
After a few gulps it was gone, ‘Thank Goodness that’s over,’ Ryou thought to himself. The ‘drink’ was horrible, and while it was obvious that it would help to build muscle from all the protein, it wasn’t that healthy to eat eggs raw like that, which is why Ryou only made this concoction on special occasions. Finally, Ryou’s food was done cooking so he gathered it all, placing the ramen in a bowl, and the eggs with cheese onto a plate. He ate everything he had made then literally licked his bowl clean. Ryou loved to cook, but he loved eating even more.
Once he had finished eating, Ryou went to his work-out room. It was a decent size room, which had weights and bars and things of that nature in it. It was filled with all the newest equipment, but it didn’t seem to be used that much, since there were so few scratches or dents on the equipment; all of it seemed to ‘shine’ as if it were practically new. Ryou began to stretch so he wouldn’t pull anything or severely injure himself during his work out.
Once Ryou had finished his stretching, he walked over towards a punching dummy, pulling the punching dummy out from the back corner, Ryou began to punch and kick the dummy repeatedly. Ryou continued to punch and kick the dummy as hard and as fast as he could for about 2 minutes. The dummy’s base had been filled with water so that while Ryou did this routine the dummy wouldn’t fall over. Once Ryou finished he walked over to a punching bag, and did the ‘1 inch punch’, one hundred times. The entire time Ryou did any of his techniques he was making sure to put his full strength into each move.
Then came the real muscle building area… weight lifting! Ryou picked up a bar and a few weights and carried them to a corner of the room where he had room to work. Placing fifty pounds on each side of the thirty pound bar, Ryou began to curl the bar. Ryou curled the bar a total of seven times before he couldn’t continue. Taking off ten pounds from each side, Ryou curled the bar once again, and once he reached seven curls, he stopped once more. Again Ryou took ten pounds off of each side and began to curl once more; however, this time Ryou curled the bar eleven times before stopping. Ryou was exerting all he could in this exercise trying to burn his muscles out, so he took off ten more pounds from each side. He curled this eleven more times before taking off ten pounds from each side once more. Ryou curled this weight fifteen times before stopping, then removing ten pounds from each side one final time Ryou began to curl. He continued on past fifteen curls for this was his final work-out on curls for the day, he had to end with literally as many as his body would allow. Ryou ’s body could take no more, and his arms began to literally feel like rubber, after curl number one hundred and forty three, a new personal best.
Ryou began to breathe deeply now, his body had become more and more tired, but it wasn’t nearly enough. There was obviously no way that Ryou was going to be able to move straight to another weight training right after that so he went back to the dummy, once again punching and kicking it over and over again as hard as he could for two minutes. After he was done with the dummy he did his one inch punches one hundred more times on the punching bag.
Ryou was extremely tired now so he began to walk or well practically crawl, over to his bench press weight set. He laid down where one would normally bench press, resting for a minute before picking back up with his routine. He laid there still for about ten minutes before he decided to pick back up. Climbing up to his feet Ryou gathered enough weights near the bench press bar that he figured would reach his ‘max’. Unlike the last bar this bar weighed forty five pounds instead of thirty. Ryou did the opposite of his curl bar, instead of starting big and working his way down he started light as he worked his way up. Ryou placed twenty pounds on each side to start out with, and lifted that easily twenty times. Adding another twenty five pounds to each side, now totaling 80 pounds on each side, Ryou benched again. He lifted it a total of fifteen times before stopping. Ryou added another ten to each side, benching it ten times, then another ten, benching that seven times. Ryou was doing great to say the least, his previous best on the weight he had just done was four times, and he had done nearly twice that. Ryou added twenty five pounds more on each side, now there was a total of 150 pounds he was lifting. In the past this had been all Ryou could lift, so now Ryou had all the weight he had gathered earlier on the bar. Once, twice, three times, four times, FIVE TIMES! Ryou lifted it five whole times, when in previous days he had only been able to lift it twice if he was lucky.
Pride began to fill Ryou because he had achieved something, he had become gradually stronger! Looking for more weight to add to each side Ryou found another one hundred and fifty pounds total. First he placed ten pounds on each side, but soon changed it to twenty five more on each side, as he figured he may as well go ALL OR NONE! Ryou lifted the bar three times this time, which showed Ryou that he, had to do more! Yes MORE! Ryou added the final fifty pounds to the bar; placing twenty five more on each side, the weight he would now attempt to lift had a grand total of 245 pounds. This amount of weight was an unbelievable amount for Ryou , he was extremely excited. He pushed on the bar and successfully lifted it two times before having to set it down.
Ryou began to breathe extremely hard as he looked for more weights; sadly, there were none to be found. Ryou wanted to try and add just a little more weight on each side, but there were no weights anywhere to be found! Then Ryou had a surprisingly good idea, he ran to the kitchen where he fetched two big buckets, and filled them both with water. Each bucket with the water weighed about two and a half pounds, so together they weighed five pounds. Taking the handles on the buckets Ryou placed one bucket on the end of each bar, then positioning himself once more on the bench press table, he began to breathe in deeply and breathe out. Ryou pushed against the bar, but it didn’t seem to budge. Stopping himself from trying to remain calm, Ryou let the adrenaline run through his body, he had to, being calm just wouldn’t work. Veins pumping, and adrenaline rushing through his body Ryou pushed against the bar, grabbing it as he did, then up the bar went. The buckets on the sides of the bar shook slightly, but no water spilt. Ryou went down, then he began to push back up, his entire body shook almost violently as he lifted the bar. Exerting all the energy Ryou had left over he pushed the bar up until his arms were straight, keeping them locked Ryou sighed in relief before placing the bar back onto the bench press table. For the next few minutes Ryou laid there unable to move, his arms dangling down the table, until he had rested enough for him to stand.
He had just lifted a grand total of two hundred and fiftt pounds! What an accomplishment at least for him. Ryou shouted, as loud as a man who could barely move or talk could, “YEAHHHHHHHH!” This was a great victory for Ryou , he had achieved his last set goal for strength all that was left for him now was to set some more! Only time could tell if Ryou would get any stronger, but as hard as this Shinobi worked, it was likely that he would! Ryou felt extremely accomplished, feeling as if in the past few days of training, he had become a whole new man. He had become stronger, faster and overall more skilled. Now it was time to test these newly acquired skills. Ryou could not wait to show everyone what he had become.
