Byakugan (IO, NK, Closed)

Hanako rushed through the doors of the hospital and straight to the front desk. In her hands was a small container, within it being a byakugan. Little did she know, it was fully mastered, as well as special in it's own little way... Her eyes were still glistening from the sheer joy of having her sight back, the feeling not hindered in the slightest by the fact that she was about to get a byakugan. She briefly wondered what stage it was at or if it would revert to her natural eye color, but decided it didn't really matter. What a change... An hour ago I couldn't see at all, and in a little while, I'll be able to see better than most Shinobi period... This is sooo weird!! the girl thought, scoffing humorously. In a moments notice she was at the front desk, panting. The nurse looked up at the panting girl, obviously waiting for an explanation. "Byakugan... transplant..." she panted, hand on the desk. She brought up the container, the eyes of the woman behind the counter widening considerably. What could you expect? She was an 11 year old girl, small even for her size (not to mention she was underweight), who had just run at full speed for at least 30 minutes. "You had best give me a darn good explanation at why a child like you has such an eye or I won't hesitate to call security!" the nurse growled. Maybe something had happened to her? Hm. Hanako just rolled her eyes and fixed them back on the nurse. "Kurokon Shikyo gave it to me. Oh, and the name is Hanako Subarashi," she said bluntly, regaining her composure. The woman stared at Hanako wide-eyed before getting up and leading her into the surgery rooms herself. The girl was a tad confused at the treatment, but then again, the Kuro-sama did seem like a rather notable Shinobi. Perhaps he was just a little more notable than previously thought...

She was brought into an ordinary surgery room and asked to lay down on a bed. The nurse asked Hanako if she would mind some blood tests being drawn, and the girl merely shook her head. Those were done in silence, not so much as a wince from the 11 year old. Afterwards, the nurse finally spoke. Her previous anger has dissipated into a kinder tone, something Hanako was greatful for. "Alrighty then, Hanako, we'll have the results back to you after the surgery. Now I'll need a few questions to be answered and we can preform the transplant," the woman said, looking over a paper in her hands. She paused for a moment, then continued. "Alright, first I need to know if you have had a transplant of Hyuuga blood that you know of and what stage this byakugan is at. Also, how old are you?" "Actually, I have no idea... for either of those questions... Oh, and 11," the girl replied honestly. The nurse sighed. "Alright, well have your eyes ever gone der severe trauma?" "Visual trauma or physical trauma...? Never mind. Yes, I was blinded by a glass bottle on July 22nd. It had since been healed, though the blindness remained. However, my eyes were fixed about 30 minutes ago by Kurokon-sama, so I do not believe any damage remains," she said stiffly. The nurse smiles sympathetically and placed a hand on Hanako's shoulder for a moment. "Poor child. Alright, a final request. Do you have a parent's signature?" the asked innocently. Hanako's eyes darkened as she responded. "No. My mother was killed recently and my father...... I have no father. Is Kuro-sama's consent not notably enough?" Hanako said, flipping the question back. The nurse held up her hands in defense, sweat dropping anime-ishly. "No, no, it's okay. We are required to ask that question to anyone under the age of 18... Anyway, that should be all. Take these," the nurse picked up a medication bottle, dropped three small pills into Hanako's hand, and snapped it shut again, "and you should be out like a light in no time. See you in a  few hours," the nurse said. And with that, she left, leaving no time for Hanako to ask questions. Rolling her eyes slightly at the nurse's hastiness, the girl swallowed the pills dry and laid back against the bed after setting the eye on the table by her. Her eyes drifted shut as unconsciousness claimed her...

Hanako's eyes slowly opened, her mind regaining consciousness once again. The hospital lights were too bright, but she didn't seem to mind. Light was light, and she was pleased to have as much as possible. She tried to glace around, but stopped when a sharp pain hit the back of her left eye, her right to any bystander looking at her. Her fingers came up to gingerly ghost over her eye, and she stopped when she felt the bandages. She would probably be blind in that eye for a while... Lol that didn't affect her at all~

Just then a nurse strode into the room, carrying a pamphlet and a small brown bag. She smiled when she saw the girl's open emerald orb, quickly striding over. In a soft, yet happy-sounding tone, she said to the girl, "Glad you're awake, Hana-chan! We ran some tests and it seems that you already had some Hyuuga DNA - Kurokon? - and the Byakugan was completely mastered. Now, you should keep that eye wrapped for a few days and change the bandages every few hours. After that, come see us again to remove the stitches in the shin around the eye, and then you are free to go! Oh, and one more thing; You won't be able to see out of that eye for a few weeks, but that is common. Anyway, you are free to go. Take this bag with your medications and instructions, as well as your old eye. Bye now Hana-chan!" the nurse said as she left the room. Hanako was just about to ask about the costs when the nurse turned around, slight grin on her face. "Don't worry about payment; It's on the house~" And with that, the nurse left.

Hanako stayed a few minutes to run through her several medications and instructions before she, too, left the hospital. The girl couldn't believe she could actually see, and not just that, she had a byakugan... Fully mastered at that, and no charge for anything... Sometimes she actually kind of liked Luck.

She just had to tell Sora-kun.
