Chiba's hands deftly switched from a Ram seal to a Tiger seal as soon as One of the koaru's disappeared as the strike hits, a puff of smoke reveals that Chiba had activated the substitution technique, and had been replaced with a dedicated cactus husk. 

Aragog lands stabily instead of collapsing like one would suspect without a visible puppeteer, then watches as the two Koaru vanish. It quickly turns to face Blade, and charges [speed 136], preparing to tackle its opponent, grasp him with its legs, and bite with its pincers.
