training with maku, like old times again

She rushed across the frozen tundra of the yuki borders, her eyes bright with excitement. It had been so long since she'd been able to actually legitimately train with one of her team mates, or for that matter anyone actually on her level and the last time she had fought maku had been a quite unfortunate situation, and yet here they were off to learn new things. It was like the old times, she thought to herself, when she was a terrified young konoichi weakened by inexperience, save for the fact that she had learned some new tricks, but the most exciting fact was that for once she was going to be the one doing the teaching. 

     She entered the area, large evergreen trees finally breaking open to reveal an enormous open expanse within the frozen tundra, and as she ran, thinking of nothing but the battle and fun ahead of her, her feet caught on solid ice. She began to slide quickly, slipping to almost fall twice before she was able to get her feet back under her to steady herself and stop trying to move on her own volition, and as she slid she ducked down to cut wind resistance. She should probably have told Maku about the situation, but she figured by the time she had turned to say something he would either have seen her sliding or been caught up in it himself. He would be alright, she assured herself. After sliding about ten meters thanks to her natural speed and the enormous ice rink like layer of ice beneath her, she finally began to slow, her body spinning thanks to her footing to allow the situation to be incredibly enjoyable, and finally she stopped in the center of the open area probably about one hundred or so meters wide. this was her little sanctuary. This was the open place where she could train freely without the worry of damage to the village and a place only three to her knowledge even knew existed. 

     "Alright. Here we are." she turned her head to check on maku as she finally slid to a stop, hoping he wouldn't have an issue with the icy terain.

Maku had bettter things to do that pay attention to Kira slipping and falling. He watched the sky, as he walked and thought of all the different experiences he had during his time here. Many things would happen, many things indeed. He had taken three genin under his wings, and made them into chunin. Two of which had true possibilities to take over for Charlotte and Anne as his personal guard. Only time would see if this idealization would grow to be worth anything. Maku having grown incredibly used to maneuvering the icy terrain walked with ease.

Arriving Kira, showed him this spot. Looking around, it seemed like a spot like another in this land. The absence of trees and mostly being tundra left all areas to appear roughly the same. "Well Kira, I guess you go first, show me some ninjutsu ad we will see if I can replicate it with my own elements. I am sure I can pick it up quickly." He would say, and would wait for Kira to do a demonstration.

He had never really used ninjutsu but, he was confident in his abillities to pick it up quickly. He was after all a very capable shinobi in his own right. The most basic of shinobi traditions shouldnt present a true problem.

"Sure...but um...Put this on. " She slid her hand into the bag at her side, drawing out a small black mask. She wanted to show him the great exploding colliding wave, she thought to herself, and that he would need assistance breathing for. first however she would test something she had just heard about...Or at least just remembered? Things felt strange. It was like a bit of her memories were different then what they should be. She ignored it. She began to form hand seals, Bird.Rat.Ox.Monkey.Rat. Snake, and as she did she molded her chakra to test out this new jutsu. Her eyes lit up when a light rain began to fall over the arena, though with the cold she realized quickly this could cause problems. Drawing her cloak over her head the girl looked up to maku with a smile.

"Rain tiger....At will technique. I think? I'm really not sure how i knew how to do this one but it seems really cool...litterally. "

"Yea, I have seen this one before. Youka and I had a training run the other day, and he used something similar to this. Not a bad tech, for a certain kind of fighting style." He watched her make the hand seals, and memorized them. He felt the rain hit him, and the chills it sent through his body when coupled with the snow and cold temperatures. The mask she had given him hung at his side, she didn't say why he needed it, so he wouldn't put it on until then.

"Very cool, indeed. You know I think i got the hang of this ninjutsu thing. Why not just have a sparring session after all. You always learn better in a match anyway." He would move to stand around 30 meters from Kira. He would stretch out and look back at her prepared. He assumed she would dismiss the rain so it was a fair start. He wore his sword at his hip still sheathed and had his special robes on that had been infused with his chakra from creation. Each tool had a special ability that made them incredibly unique. Both with powers that made his fighting style even more impressive.

He would watch her, and wait to see if she would consent to spar, or if she would rather just do a teaching session. Remembering the mask, he would flick his wrist and toss it to her like a Frisbee. He didn't want to be called a cheater after all.

"Oh good. It's wierd....like I remember the jutsu faintly but I'm not sure from where. It's almost as if I was taught it in my dreams?" Her statement raised at the end to indicate a question though the way it was built was nothing of the sort. When he suggested a spar she simply nodded, releasing her rain tiger at will jutsu and through the magic of ooc awesomeness felt her stamina completely restore itself.

    She took a deep breath, preparing for what would be an incredibly difficult fight. She caught the mask as it was tossed back, thinking it unfortunate that he would choose not to hold on to it. She figured if the time came she would pass it back to him just in case. Finally feeling prepared she awaited his que that they were ready and once he gsve it she would for a single hand sign.

    Ram. As her hands clapped together the pulse of her chakra would let loose an incredibly heavy stream of water from her mouth thst would move out at a speed of ninety five to fill the arena inevitably crashing up and around maku to sweep him up into a whirlpool like torrent of water as the sheer force would lift her into the air. The water unless stopped would create an enormous bubble of water spreading a full fifty feet with terrifying speed, the edge of the new bubble forming up into a circle with incredible fortitude.

Maku would give a mock salute to gesture that the spar had started.  He would watch on as she made the hand seal, and released a large fountain of water from her mouth.  The deluge would approach him at a pretty decent speed, but with the distance he had time to perform several of his own actions as he started as soon as she did.  First biting hard on his thumb he would draw a couple drops of blood.  Making the required handseals, while the wave was still 15 meters from him he summoned Satsujin the murder crab 100 meters above Kira.  He would begin hurtling towards the ground at an incredible speed.

Spinning in a circle seconds before the wave would hit him, he covered his face and body with his robes, that thanks to the barrier arts that they were crafted with, would absorb the majority of the impact leaving him unharmed.  About a second or two after the bubble was formed, Satsujin would make contact.  He would land 5 meters in front of Kira with a power of 125, shattering her bubble.  The water would be released from its bubble form, causing Maku to only have to hold his breath for a short time.  As the resulting wave moved out, leaving the area once again free of water, Maku would land on his feet now 35 meters from Kira, having been pushed slightly by the wave caused by Satsujin.  

Standing at attention, he would attempt to shake off some of the water, and begin jogging towards Kira at a speed of 55.

Satsujin in his place in front of Kira would look down on the female, and wait for her actions.  He stood strong and unmoving

Jutsu used:

The enormous pouring of water would finally stop, and as it did the bubble would form, only to be brought crashing back down by the enormous crab summoned by her friend. That's different, she thought to herself. The situation immediately looked completely aweful. her chance of taking control of this fight was looking more and more grim, but as usual she wouldn't give up. The water pooled across the tundra, rising around ten feet from the soil below. As she allowed the jutsu to end she dropped downward to land on the water, activating her water walking technique to stand atop the water looking up at the giant crab for a moment.

"This....is new" She said, jumping backwards to put some distance between herself and the crab and as she did her hands flowed through the seals for her jutsu once more. bird.rat.ox.monkey.rat.snake. As her hands clapped together into the last seal unless she was interupted the rain would start once more, pouring slowly lightly across the waterlogged frozen tundra. She turned her gaze towards the man running towards her. She wasn't sure what exactly he was planning but she determined it would be best to wait it out and act on reaction. With the power of the rain tiger at will technique she could feel the two moving within the falling water, and she was certain that would be essential.

Sinjetsu was watching the female, when she bent her knees and went to jump backwards, probably to put some distance between the two of them.  Since he had not been moving at all, he used his counter claw attack, and moved with amazing speed and ferocity.  Since she would be airborne when the strike happened, there would be little she could do for dodging, also she should be moving at 35 speed.  Sanjetsu's right claw would move at 120 speed, and 53 strength, because he was holding back.  Had he wanted to, he could have used his full 170 strength and smashed the little girl right here and now killing her.  

The claw would come, and should strike Kira directly in her mid section.  At the same time, Maku would make the tiger handseal, and body flicker.  He would track her movements and appear crouched down hands already made into a hand seal.  She would be flying through the air, and he would hit her with a great fireball right in the abdomen from less than a foot away as she sped by him, letting the armor absorb the majority of the impact.  The fireball would move with 40 speed and power.  However, once again due to her being what Maku would assume was dazed from being hit by a giant crab claw, and being mid air, she really shouldn't be able to dodge.  

Standing up he would look towards Satsujin, and make a fist bump action with the great behemoths left claw.  As for Kira, already being airborne and taking another blast, she should wind up spinning away from his current location for at least 10 or 15 meters before crashing to the ground. It occured to him, that her taking two blasts point blank like that might have ended the battle, and he should probably make sure she was ok. He knew she was tough, but the more he thought on it, those two attacks in conjunction would really put her body to the test.


Should none of this happen, then Maku would being running at his full 110 speed towards Kira and would react appropriately.

Jutsu used:

AP - 900- 30= 870 (Maku)
AP - 400 - 50 = 350 (Satsujin)

Shit. She watched the crab claw coming towards her almost as if it were in slow motion. She knew better then to go aerial in the current situation and yet....here she was. Her arms pulled back inward to rest against her chest in a defensive movement, barely making it before the great beast hit her, and as they moved the cloak of shadows flowed across her body. Unfortunate for her the reaction was fairly useless as the wind was easily knocked from her, sending her hurdling back to get hit by a powerful fireball that singed her armor and threw her at a high speed into the water below. She sunk down into the flood like waters several feet before she finally regained her wits, rolling over within the pool to right herself. Whatever that thing was, she thought wincing in pain as she checked her body for the inevitability that something was broken, it was not a fantastic idea to fight it.

She would take a few moments, unless interupted, to get her barings strait before she even considered planning. Twc 1208 ap 300 rain tiger active all topic =) ))

Maku would move while Kira was hitting the water to sit on top of Satsujin's head. He would then stair up, at the sky, and make the horse hand seal. Taking a deep breath, he would unleash a massive torrent of flame at a speed and power of 80. It would completely obliterate the rain above him, causing it to evaporate and end leaving the clearing to have a clear sky. Maku hated the rain more than any other weather condition, let alone this kind of rain. Looking towards where Kira would just now be getting her wits about her he called out. "I think I got a handle on this ninjutsu stuff. Whenever your ready to continue we can."

All the while he would be sitting cross legged on Satsujin's head, and waiting for her to make a move.
