training with maku, like old times again

She heard his call, though muffled from the water, and first released her cloak of shadows, and then considered what to do. She supposed it may be useful to fight fire with fire. From her position under the water, her body either not visible or highly blured from her position well under the surface, she formed six hand seals. Ox,monkey,hare, rat,boar, bird, and as she finished the water around her would rise up to create a dragon the same size as maku's. Grab about twenty meters away. As the water formed she would be dropped down the the ground, finally setting on solid earth with only a few inches of water left. As it finished she would look up at maku smiling, and nod for their battle of great beasts.

(Twc 1341 jutsu used is Water dragon ap= 300-30-5(forgot to minus cloak last post) = 265)

Maku watched as the giant water dragon was formed.  He was vastly unimpressed to be honest.  He sat on Satsujin the murder crab, one of the most powerful denizens of the hidden coast of crustaceans.  A master at taijutsu, and incredibly formidable foe, and he was supposed to be scared of this little dragon.  Nope, not gonna happen.  

As she jumped off, she would look up at him, at this time, he would be pointing his hand at her in a finger gun hand gesture, moving his thumb.  She would be caught in one of his many genjutsu.  The ephermal genjutsu, would send her into her own mind.  There the battle would look much the same, except the water dragon would begin attacking her, after it looked like Maku made 3 hand seals and shouted "Suiton possession no jutsu".  It would thrash and crash into her.  No matter what she did it would follow her, ultimately until it engulfed her.  She would then feel the sensation of drowning inside his belly, as she would be unable to escape.  The rest of the battle would look exactly the same.  To all her sinces it would appear that Maku had been able to take control of her dragon through ninjutsu.  In this way he hid the fact this was a genjutsu.

Of course this was all just a genjutsu.  Her real body would be standing there, not doing anything at all.  Now that the dragon had no commands or way to maintain itself it would disperse.  If it was able to stay up, then Satsujin would walk towards it at his 25 speed, and smash the dragon with his claw, at 100 strength.  Maku would then look down and see what Kira was doing, they would be 5 meters in front of her.

In the real world kira's body would stand against the wet earth stark still, staring upwards at Maku. Her eyes were unfocused and almost seemed to glaze over as she left the plane of reality to be swept into the genjutsu. The dragon would raise it's head to follower her command just as he snapped, and lunged forward, raising it's enormous claws in preparation to rip through the enormous crab summoned by maku, however before it could close even a quarter of the distance the dragon's head dropped and it dispersed into a flood of water. The huge volume of water would wash back across the arena, sweeping kira's still unmoving body up in a torrential force Her lips snapped shut as her last drawing of breath was held almost completely on reflex, the combination of her natural will to survive and a tiny bit of prodding from the spirit of her scythe at her subconscious protecting her momentarilly from drowning. her body spun quickly as it gave way to the fast moving water, flowing ten meters from where she had once stood before the liquid seemed to calm itself finally meeting an even point where it could settle. Still she turned and somersaulted for several seconds before coming to rest around three feet under the surface, seeming to lay face up suspended in water, only to slowly float to the surface thanks to natural boyancy.

When her face broke the water she let out her held breath finally, returning to her surprisingly calm soft breathing patern, her arms and legs hanging loosely in suspended within the pool of water.

Within the genjutsu Kira would watch him sign something she didn't recognize, and as he did the dragon turned to face her. "What...THe...." She spoke before it lunged downards, opening its great jaws, the clear bluish whiskers framing it's face seeming to bounce with the movement, and she realized something was off, but more importantly she needed to take care of that before it ate her. She moved back quickly, jumping into the air only moments before the impact, and while the dragon missed her unfortunately it's colision with the ground sent a spray of mud upwards that covered her with filth and knocked her back in such a way that her landing would end incredibly unfortunately.

"How did you even....." She was at a loss for words as she pushed herself off of the ground to stand, moving quickly backwards once more facing the creature as soon as her feet hit the ground. She needed something to take care of this problem quickly but she just couldn't think of a jutsu that would be efficient. She closed her eyes, calming herself and allowing the skill of her blood to flow through her. The nara had always been masters of planning and she proved to be a golden child among geniuses. She concentrated on the task at hand finally devising an idea she wasn't sure would work, but would offer her valuable information. Her hands would fly into hand seals as she continued to sprint backwards getting up to speed to hopefully put distance between herself and the dragon and looping in an arc just deep enough that she would stay the same distance from maku and his crab.

Tiger. Ox. Dragon. Hare. Dog. Bird. Rat. Ox. Dragon. Bird. She signed the jutsu for water shark bullet, kneading her chakra to use the jutsu but as she finished and allowed it to activate she was surprised to see nothing happen. 'Shit,' she thought to herself. 'Did I miss something? Why did I have to pick a jutsu with four hundred freaking seals. ' She tried again, this time allowing her memory of the sparring previous to flow through her mind. Tiger. Ox. Dragon. Hare. Dog. Bird. Rat. clone seal. Dragon. ram. As she finished the jutsu she allowed her chakra to flow once more, using the dragon's own side as the existing water, due to the power of her chakra which she was sure would over take makus, or at least really hoped would, and waited. If the jutsu worked in maku's genjutsu world a great white shark of mamoth proportion would push it's head out of the dragon's chest, and flow through the air in a direct bee line for the water beast's massive forarm. It if connected the shark would bite into the watery flesh of the dragon's right front clawed leg, expecting to tear a chunk off with a great twist of it's head before slipping into the creature's leg and swimming up the dragon's apendage and into it's chest to prepare for a second strike. Otherwise she would think through the jutsu a final time, sure that she had gotten it right and try and figure out what went wrong.

If the jutsu was unable to be used she would determine her opponents power was equal or greater then her own, causing her to fail in taking control of the water pulsing with his chakra, and with that realization she would call for more water. Bird. Rat. Ox. Monkey. Rat. Snake. As she signed the jutsu she smiled. While the water shark bullet had only been used once or twice days ago this jutsu was fresh in her head from the begining of their fight. A great grouping of clouds would seem to form over head dark grey and angry looking and as they blanketed the sky a freezing cold rain would begin to fall in the genjutsu in the event that her genjutsu mind body was able to actually do jutsus within this seemingly alternate dimension.

( jutsu used rain tiger and water shark bullet in the event her actions are mirrored in the real world AP= 265-70= 195. otherwise it would feel like 195 in the genjutsu but AP irl would = 265 i suppose)

Maku reaching into his back pocket, started eating a sandwich and watched as his crab smashed the puny water dragon, and Kira was stuck in the genjutsu. Inside the genjutsu he would make it so all her jutsu failed, and everything she tried would be ruined.

He would nom on that sandwich, and make a giant lizard appear out of the ground inside of the genjutsu that had 90 in all its stats try to eat her.

Each of her jutsu were sealed and activated but for some reason nothing had happened. She pulsed her chakra, letting it flow slowly through her body to ensure she wasn't low but to her surprise she felt as strong as ever. "Alright...." As the dragon crashed down a second time she sealed the clone seal, and as she did two clones would ideally appear to block the dragon's strike and give her time to move away. once more nothing happened. "How...." It didn't make sense to the girl that her jutsu just weren't working, and even more so she knew this particular jutsu incredibly well and yet......

Her thoughts were disturbed as the dragon that should have been slowed by her clones crashed down upon her, swallowing her in it's enormous jowels. Her body was thrust into the water dragon's face to flow thanks to the intertia caused by it flicking it's head backwards in a swallowing motion, and she was sent spinning into the nothingness. She pulsed her chakra, an arm pulling in against the powerful water that continued to push her towards the dragon's center, but the mask across her face never activated. "G...Gen?" She wracked her mind for a point when she would have caught his eyes, or for any strange melodic sounds or rhythms that might have put her into a genjutsu. The list came up surprisingly short, ending at none to be exact. "Is it?" She asked herself wondering if it could really be that easy, and with that she joined her hands together into the genjutsu release seal, shifting her fingers a bit to ensure the seal was perfect and ripping herself from the genjutsu and back into her body.

"Wha...How..." SHe looked upwards maku's direction, though she only allowed his body to be noticed from the edge of her sight. "A genjutsu with no verbal components and not require eye contact?" She swirled her arms in the water finally to bring herself back from a laying back float to slowly treading water.

"Yea, I am pretty boss"  Maku yelled down from the gigantic crab.  Tapping it on its head, he allowed it to desummon.  He would fall for a while, then use blink to appear in front of Kira.  "Well I think I am good for the day, so I will see you later."  With that he body flickered at 240 speed, avoiding interruption unless she really really tried.  What she didn't know was Maku had a date, so he had to go take a shower.


To Kira it would surely seem an odd thing, but Maku had recieved what he needed. He wasn't one to overdue what neednt be over done. He had accomplished a couple jutsu he had been working on and had felt his skill grow. Because of this the day was a success. Back in his office, he would prepare himself. He had a special meeting today, and he would see it bear fruit. Overall, nothing else needed said, the spar was over and Maku was better or it.

"I um....but.....Wait what?!" She watched maku leave, walking back over to a rock off to the side to take a seat for a moment. "Help him train ninjutsu he says........It'll be fun........I think im good for the day. " She sighed. That was maku after all. He had always been the random kind of comic guy. her hands shifted quickly into the signs for her jutsu. Bird. Rat. Ox.Monkey. Rat. Snake. As she finished the last one The rain began once more, pouring down across the land in a heavy flow. She pulled the cloak over her head to protect herself, shivvering slightly at the cold. "Well.....At least this time I made it out of his genjutsu I suppose. " She spoke to herself, turning her eyes to the falling water in front of her.

Taking a deep breath she thought through the past battle. He had surprised her with the summon. She really wasn't ready for that. The giant crab was also a bit more powerful then she had imagined. "Maku must have made friends with something really powerful. As the rains fell she closed her eyes, concentrating on the flow of water. Within the black void of nothingness she could start to see....something. No, it wasn't something. She could see the water hitting things. To her left there was a tree she was fairly certain. To her right open land. As she turned her head she realized she could see the entire area around her without the need of her actual eyes.

"Holy.....This is.....Wow. This must be the power of this jutsu." She was more then a little amazed as she stood, shifting her gaze left to right. It was like anything the rain touched she could sense.

"Of course it is Kira.....How could you not realize that is why we offered it to you?" There was a strange voice that slid into her mind. She felt her body calming slightly, which actually worried her.

"Who...who are you?" She looked around, her closed eyes seeing through the rain that fell down across the outskirts of yuki. She searched every inch that her rain touched but couldn't find a single person.

"Kira......I see. Well.....I suppose there was a reason. The important thing to know Is i'm someone you can trust, and I'm here to hel..." She paused as kira began to spin around incredibly quickly, searching the rain sure that there was definitely someone there. "Kira stop searching, i'm not a physical entity,well....Not a human physical entity anymore. My name is selene. I'm the spirit within the scythe sorrow. " Kira shook her head. She was going crazy. that must be it. The situations that had happened were quickly shifting her to bat shit insane. She stood slowly, drawing the cloak around her shoulders and shaking the rain from the folds of her clothing. She needed to go home, that would fix everything. All she needed was to go home and sleep and pretend none of this happened. She took off at a run, leaving her favored training spot behind. it was nice to be here, sure, but with what happened she needed to get back into town. She hoped she could find one of the genin and practice a few things. If she could get a good spar going it would take her mind off everything. It took her only a few minutes to finally make it back to the village, and seconds after that to make it to her room and hit the bed, passing out for the night.
