Training (Maku)
Sat Mar 29, 2014 6:04 pm
The boy had decided that the tundra around the town would be a good place to train. He also wanted some degree of secrecy, so he could practice with his chakra chains without giving too many people the knowledge of his ancestry. This would be the first time he felt confident enough that he could form the chains. and opened his palms and concentrated. He formed the chains out of his hands, and they pooled by his feet. The metal of the chains was a shiny, almost blue color, while the blades were black, and almost dagger like in appearance. He thought about the uses of combining the chains and body flicker, but he'd likely just end up hurting himself. Spinning the chains around himself, he felt like they were apart of him, which in actuality, was kind of true. The targets he had set up earlier stood a little ways from him, and he shot the two chains he had created at them. The chains stabbed into the target, but not dead center as he would have wished. He sighed to himself. "Wish I could have someone to help me with my training."
He reeled in his chains, and decided some physical training was probably in order.

Daiyuki spent many years in the harshness of the tundra, it became his second home. The wolf Shiroi lived here up until her master Daiyuki came to retrieve her, together they return to not only train but become one in the movement. It was because of their last fight with Youka in which he exposed their lack of communication and predictability. Daiyuki felt that they needed to become an extension of each other. Upon walking to their favorite spot to train, where the snow was thick and packed Daiyuki saw a unidentified person about 2m out. Shiroi hesitated to walk any closer; she felt something terrible about this situation.

Kiru concentrated. He wished to get better at his body flicker technique, but for that to happen, he had to first train his own personal speed. Focused as he was, he didn't notice he was being watched, and merely continued his training.
Unsheathing his sword this time, he closed his eyes. He tried to imagine the distance between him and the target, and the point at which he wanted to strike. He dashed forward, opening his eyes, and struck the target in a horizontal slash, making a gash across its surface. His concentration was good, but he couldn't take so long to wait in a real battlefield. It would help if he could fight something that was actually in motion, but he doubted anyone would be out in this freezing field. He once again took up his stance, and repeated his motions. He occasionally switched between vertical, and horizontal slashes, but he wasn't really improving. An unmoving target simply would take a while to build up his attack speed.
Sheathing his sword, he pulled out two of his kunai. He had a rather feeble amount of equipment, but then again, if he ran out, he had his chains to fall on. This time he stood a little ways back from his target, and used his body flicker. As soon as he reached the target in a blue flash, he made a crossing slash with the kunai, marking the target with an X. He knew he could at least use the body flicker a couple of times, but it was rather taxing on him. Deciding he would train that particular jutsu another time, he sat in the snow, contemplating on how to create a training regime, still unnoticing of the one watching him.

Daiyuki continued to watch as the man disappeared and reappeared, he smiled because the technique was one he recognized. The technique reminded him of Maku’s phasing but this technique was on smaller bases because Maku’s technique left an afterimage that masked the actual phase this technique however did not. Daiyuki watched the man sit comfortably in the snow; Daiyuki then pulled a kunai from his back covering he then carved a circle in the snow using the circle he fashioned a snowball. Shiroi watched and caught on quickly, she came over and slightly pissed on the snowball. Daiyuki then preceded two the throw the snowball at the seated man. Daiyuki wanted to see the knock off phasing jutsu once more.

Kiru, for his lack of concentration, did in fact notice the snowball hurtling towards him. Though at the time, did not realize it wasn't some sort of weapon deigned to kill him, and cut it in two with a very precise movement with his kunai. Half of it missed, flying passed his head in some odd direction, but the other half smashed into his jacket, falling off onto the snowy ground, but leaving a noticeable stain on the front of his jacket. Who would pee on a snowball and throw it at him? Who would even think of doing that? What kind of reaction was the culprit expecting? He stood quickly, scanning the area, and noticed a figure a bit away from him, standing with an animal of some sort. He wasn't really trained in animal physiology or physiology of any kind for that matter, and figured it was a wolf or dog of some kind. He also came to the conclusion that this person may have seen his chakra chains, but chose not to bring it up, in case they hadn't. "I don't have time for a snowball fight. I'm busy training, and unless you want to help, i'd like to get back to that."

Daiyuki noticed the man split the snowball into two. “Lets play” he told Shiroi as he proceeded do repeat the same action this time with his own urine. Instead of launching the four snowballs he would make directly the man two would fall short creating horizontal line the other two would travel far over the man’s head about 3m creating another horizontal line. In an effect Daiyuki attempted to box the man in a unique fashion. “Are You Ready?” He would say to Shiroi as he performed the handsels for the Clone Technique. In a poof of smoke two more of him self would appear. After Daiyuki was set he and the clones began to run toward the man being two meters out the quickly covered 1m in what seemed like an instant. Shiroi held her position waiting for a signal for her to advance

Kiru saw that none of the snowballs were actually headed towards him, but he let them box him in anyway. He didn't know what this person intended, but he wasn't the only one who could play this game. He formed 2 chakra chains on each arm, hidden in his sleeves. Those would be his last resort. Then, he crouched low, simply waiting to see what his attacker could do. He fantasized the thought of charging, but the man had done nothing dangerous, so unsheathing his sword would probably be taken pretty hostile. He chose to wait, to see what this man would do.

Which each step Daiyuki took the snow had gotten a tad bit thicker. He stopped his movements about 6 yards away from the man. “Hey bub this is my territory and from the looks of it I don’t recognize you.” He said to the man. This display of outward aggression was not the norm for Daiyuki, because being in Maku’s presence more times than not prevented this type of aggression.

Oh, was that what this was all about? He couldn't completely trust the man, but he reeled in his chains to a more, less active position. Looking at his targets, he grimaced at the thought of moving them.
"Well I apologize. I didn't move here till recently. I guess sharing isn't really your thing? Well if you won't let me practice out here, could you at least help me move my targets somewhere less offending to you? They weren't all that easy to get out here in the first place."
He tried to give off an air of friendliness, and hoped the man wouldn't simply attack him.

The sound of the man voice was infuriating, it almost reminded him of a less threating Maku. The time for talking was over a long time ago. Daiyuki proceed to move closer as he did the snow thickened. The thickened snow had begun to cover Daiyuki’s feet so much so he began to look down at them. The man was now 5 yards from Daiyuki. It infuriated Daiyuki the more he thought about the man being here. The man hadn’t moved or gave his ground so Daiyuki proceeded with notion.
Noticing how thick the snow was around, Daiyuki thrust one leg forward this would send a wall of displaced snow toward the man, it would come like a blanket of thick snow toward the mans face. Daiyuki would use the snow wall as a diversion to get closer to the man. His clones be a transparent outlet of himself only mocked his actions. As the wall would get closer Daiyuki would come from the side of the wall and attack with a dialed back Leaf Whirlwind. If successful the man would react to the wall of snow leaving him open on the side to be hit with the Leaf Whirlwind upon contact the man would fly to the side approximately landing about 4 yards away.
