This place needs some colour

With the end of Kaede's song came the arrival of him to the village of Yukigakure. As he stood outside the gates for the second time he could only really comment on one thing. "Lacks colour." He said to himself as he stood there. Now the question was, should he wait? Should he announce himself? Or should he just waltz in. Kaede had forgone sending a letter ahead of him, so decided to go with the former. "Hello there people of Yukigakure. My name is Kaede Uzumaki, Leader of Shimagakure. I wish to meet with your leader." Kaede had picked up the trick of making his voice carry itself around without actually shouting. Thus his voice would likely be heard by the front half of the village if one were paying attention that is. Now all he had to do was wait.

Maku had just finished an epic workout, and was wondering towards the gate.  Sure it was beneath most leaders to pull gate duty, but hey Maku wasn't most leaders.  Recently he had found out that he was in the Bingo book, under his other name "Kani" and the picture looked like shit.  It wasn't even what he really looked like.  Damn, he thought, gonna have to go kill someone to get my street cred up. Flipping the page, he saw Youka.  The guy had a full two pages with a dynamite picture.  Closing the book and sighing, he replaced it in his pocket before arriving at the gate.

It was at this time he heard the voice that despite being a shout spread long and loud.  The leader of Shimagakure huh, well that was a surprise.  He wasn't expecting such a visitor.  However, as always Maku was willing to give him a chance.  Since he was going on gate duty, he had his scepter in his left hand tapping it on his shoulder as he walked.  He would appear with long blonde hair blowing in the cold wind, his brand new suit fitted on his body.  As he walked through the gates paying close attention to avoid being caught off gaurd, he would recognize this man as the one who had shown up to broker an alliance with the previous Yuki leader.  Did he talk to Echo?  doubtful since Echo hadn't mentioned it on their last meeting.  Wondering what it could be he kept a watchful eye to insure no hostile actions.

As he stood approx. 15 meters from the man, he greeted him smiling as he looked him in the eye.  "Heyo, I am Maku, and what a lovely coincidence, I am the leader of Yukigakure.  It's good to see you again."  He would open his chakra senses to try and detect any other presences nearby, but as of yet, none could be picked up.

It seemed the leader had arrived, and rather quickly. Kaede eyed him up for a moment. There was only one way to truly greet eachother as leaders. In an instant his shirt was off. Ignoring the cold he felt against his bare skin he placed his arms infront of himself, left fist in right palm, and flexed his muscles. He had no reason to speak during this mighty flexing. If Maku were truly a fellow leader and man, he would understand the gesture. "A pleasure to meet again Maku." Kaede would eventually say, after his flexing would end of course. One does not simply speak during flexing. "I came here to inquire about something that happened recently to a friend. Perhaps we could speak in your office?"

Watching, Maku saw as the man removed his shirt and began flexing.  It almost looked like there were tiny pink diamonds twinkling around his head, but that could be due to the massive amount of manliness that was being displayed.  Not to be out done, Maku removed his shirt, and clapped both hands over his head, flexing to reveal the six pack he had only a few hours ago been working on crafting to perfection.  There was no need to speak.  No words needed to be shared, this was a meeting between two manly men, and as such Kaede had gained the respect of Maku.

After the display of raw manliness, Maku would look around and replace his shirt as Kaede began speaking.  He noticed the display had actually melted the snow around both of them.  "A friend of yours you say?  I see no reason why we can't discuss this matter, please follow me.  Also if you'd like, this place has dynamite snow cones if you want to stop and get one on the way to my office."  With that he would lead the man into the village and towards his office.

(exit, moving to my office unless more needs done, entrance to Yuki is coolio for Kaede)

Ah, it seemed he was in the presence of a true man. To a bystander the flexing exchange would be considered weird. However the two men understood. In that brief moment a bond had been formed between the two of them. After the exchange ended Kaede picked up his shirt, taking note that snow seemed to have melted. It seemed even nature could not withstand the might of muscles. "A snow cone sounds...cold. But I'd like to try one." Kaede said before following after the man into the village.

And thus, the two manly men had a manly walk to the office.
