Teen Titans! [P & NK]

[Okay, I'm letting you guys use the stuff you got after the start of this thread to this point, but make sure to use update posts on your stats, so issues like these do not happen in the future (that's mostly directed at Jason). Also, as Kaira's not in this fight, it rather loses half of its purpose, so instead I decided to show you guys roughly how actual fights happen.]

Youta would stay her attack and watch as Mitako run and hid behind Jason. It was somewhat amusing, what also added to it was that the muffin that Mitako hurled towards her, probably to serve as a distraction, would land short of reaching Youta and end up on the ground. Which was pathetic, to use food that way, but also to waste it with a poorly aimed throw. Right afterwards, Youta's attention would be drawn to Jason, who was performing a handseal and molding chakra for a high ranked technique. She would prepare two kunai with her left hand while holding the ninjato with her right. As that was happening, a faint blue light would appear in her eyes, able to see the chakra being built up, as well as the chakra forming the clones, when the technique was finally activated.

However, that was where she would put an end to this attack. High ranked moves like that were dangerous to all three of them and it took an equally dangerous move to shut down. That move would be more dangerous to the Genins, than her though. Hopefully they were not fragile enough to die immediately. With those thoughts Youta would swing the ninjato through the air to her right, infusing it with chakra and causing a sound, a chime, a song. The boys and their clones would be hit with a vision of being slashed and maimed several times, distracting them for two second, during which Youta's left hand would flicker forward releasing the two knifes at the clones, which stood about two meters from the boys and about seven from Youta. As soon as the visions ended, the kunai would hit both lightning clones, dispelling them and causing the shock detonation, with the boys in its range. Provided all of it happened like this without interruption, Youta would lunge forward after the lightning dissipated, swinging the ninjato once more, infusing it with wind chakra and sending out a blast that would knock the stunned boys on their butts. When they recovered from the shock, they would feel quite crushed and not only because of the defeat, but more so from the genjutsu she used and its strain on their system. Oh and let's not forget the pain it causes, with each slash seeming real.

Jason's attacked seemed like it was beyond powerful, at least for someone like them. But before Mitako could react to Jason's attempts at an attack, he felt a force hit as he fell over. Looking down he see blood begin to pool as Youta continued slashing into him, this was on a whole different level than when they practiced the other day. He wondered if he died as his vision began to fade from his eyes, blades still tearing his flesh from his body.

His eyes snapped open again, only for him to be shocked by Jason's clones, and then knocked back on his ass by Youta. It finally dawned on him what had just went down, he had no idea Youta could do genjutsu, and this was the second time Youta had handed his ass to him. He fwlt pretty stupid and his body ached from the illusion, but it was at least somewhat dulled by the real shock from Jason's clone. It appeared he needed a lot more training before he could actually do anything. He was lucky Youta hadn't tried to kill them... (maybe?) Either way he would begin to regain some feeling in his arms and legs and slowly bring himself back to a standing position, the imaginary gash in his chest still burning. "No more clones." He said as he held the the spot where his chest hurt. Sure, the rest of his body hurt too, but this spot was far worse. Still talking to Jason, "I'll follow your lead..." He had hoped Jason would rest for a moment, but if he didn't then it was tough luck for the poor genin.

Again, I'm still a noob to the combat system on the site, so correct me if I do anything wrong. Also, how exactly do you calculate the speed of thrown objects? It's probably in the rules, and I'll go check again, but another explanation would be cool.]

[You don't need to pay for your clones as you already did in your previous post. Jason does though, as he did not.

Throwing speed is average of your speed and strength +40. In a formula it looks like this (Speed+Strength)/2 + 40

Throwing sharpness is weapon base sharpness + sharpness booster. Sharpness booster is (Speed+Strength)/4]

Jason got up, although slowly, and felt like he had died. the burning pain in his chest and torso was still there. As Jason regained his senses, he heard his teammate speak; "i'll follow your lead." why he was gonna do that, Jason had no idea. Jason took out two kunai from his weapon pouch and held on to them tight as he locked eyes with Youta, his sensei. man, she was a tough cookie. though Jason had a high amount of chakra, that didn't mean he was stronger than his sensei, or maybe he was, Jason didn't know. Jason put up a stance, that was, in Jason's mind, and honesty, pretty mediocre. he knew that he was full of openings but he had mitako next to him. Jason locked at his sensei and with iron in his eyes, Jason had a, you might say a pre-ass kicking one liner. "here i come, sensei!". Jason ran up towards his sensei and swung the kunai towards her. Jason had hoped that Youta would block the attack, this would hopefully intice Mitako to attack her. if he didn't catch on, then Jason turned his head towards Mitako to hopefully make him understand what he wanted to do. if he did, then Jason would then make a quick attack with a donkey kick to Youta's torso. if he hit, then Jason would follow up with a knee attack to the chin. if Jason would miss, then he'd be open for attack.

The boys recovered considerably fast after being his with such a shock. The Chuunin would smirk as she heard Mitako attempt some coordination between them. But this still looked like individual attempt. The girl was eager to see if they could make some sort of play together without using any high ranked moves like that, but she was disappointed to only see Jason start to move. Well, maybe this was their plan, Mitako did say he would follow.

For now, in the interest of being interested, Youta would not counter the Genin's move. Stepping back, she would get out of range of the swing, as well as any close range follow up he might have planned to do and see if they come up with a coordinated attack. She would keep the ninjato in front of her though, in case she needed to block still. Her glowing eyes would continue to inspect the movement of both boys.

Mitako caught on to Jason's plan pretty quickly and jogged alongside him. When Jason swung the kunai at Youta, Mitako thought that was it. Fate however had a different turn of events, and Youta just moved backwards. Well, it looked like a decent chance, so Mitako got a grip on the only kunai he had, and threw it towards Youta. His aim had improved since last time, so if she didn't block or dodge it, she would've earned a small scratch on her cheek. Now there would be a short gap between them (5 meters) as he ran past her (22 speed), leaving Jason to distract her from the front. Just in case she would go after him, he grabbed the handle of his katana, ready to defend with it. (Probably in vain)

Jason, using a speed of 65, would turn around and do a spinning round house kick. As he did this, Jason would focus his eyes on Youta's blade. if the kick would be blocked, which Jason sort of hoped that happened, then Jason would quickly make a combo of punches with the kunais that he had in his hands. Jason had remembered that Youta was holding a sword and that he made sure to attack the blade to keep Youta distracted. As Jason was doing this, he hoped that Youta would keep on blocking, and leaving herself open to attack from Mitako's point.

[It's mostly alright, Mitako. The thing is that you are not allowed to run at your max speed on your first post of movement. But it makes little difference, so we can ignore it here. Just keep it in mind in the future, as details like that get your posts voided]

As soon as Youta stepped back to avoid Jason's attack, she would see Mitako appearing behind the boy and throwing a kunai at her. It was better aimed this time, but still not well enough, given that it would only scratch her cheek, all she had to do was tilt her head to the side a bit and the blade flew by harmlessly. With her eyes still locked on the two in front of her, Youta would see Jason behind a spin, which was probably meant to chain into a roundhouse kick from her right. But in that motion he did the mistake of turning his back to her, a moment that she would exploit to step forward and appear at his right and with another step behind him during the kick, no doubt making his leg sweep the air. As a side bonus during the motion and his kick, she would strike with her blade at the only leg that kept him on the ground while his other leg was in the air, though she would use the flat side in order to deliver a hit, but not a bloody injury.

Like that she would end up behind both boys, as Mitako seemed to have ran past Jason during the exchange. Backing up a bit she would give them some more space. "Try harder! Try together!" Her blade would be raise in front of her again. One of two attempt she would give them, no more.

It seemed that Youta would be gone before Mitako could get in place or react to any move she made. Keeping his pace, (22) he turned and headed back toward Jason. They needed to work together more, and Mitako knew for a fact that Jason was more skilled than him. Until now, Mitako was letting Jason take the brunt of the attacks. Maybe, if they switched roles, Jason could get a hit in or open up the opportunity for one. Now, he needed to find a way to relay this to his teammate without letting Youta in on his plan. Mitako figured this next line would likely fail in both areas, but it was worth a try. As he passed Jason, he would say "Hang back until she beats my ass!" He had slowed down a bit so he could talk (18 speed), He kept that pace, which was laughable compared to Youta and Jason. Once he was within ten meters of Youta he would only have one option that had a chance of working, (or so he thought) Realizing he had no technique to use as an opening attack, as he closed the distance he would draw his sword and strike at her mid section (20 speed).At this point he no longer cared if she beat him half to death, hopefully she would accidently open her self up for an attack, and Jason would seize the opportunity.


If Youta would block, he would bring his foot up to kick her midsection right as he swung down with his sword. She could of course just dodge all of his attacks, as he was slow. These attacks were nothing more than diversions though, the hope being that Jason would take an opportunity to strike while she was distracted with the fledgling.

Jason got hit by the attack and hit the ground. Jason began to think with what little time he had to formulate what went wrong. Jason made the mistake of turning his back towards an enemy. as far he knows, you should NEVER turn your back towards an enemy. that should be pretty obvious, but Jason made a mistake and was gonna learn from it. Jason got up, and put up some distance between him and Youta. Jason placed the kunai back to his weapon pouch and took out two shuriken and threw them with the strength and speed of his which was both 4 in strength and 65 speed. with the half numbers that he has now divided, his throwing speed would be 75, considering the fact that Jason added the 40 to his strength and speed. they would function more as a distraction towards youta, for mitako to give as an opening so that he could, hopefully attack Youta while dodging the shuriken. Jason had hoped that Mitako would catch up to the chance of attacking youta while she is busy dodging the shuriken. however, if she did block them, then Jason wasn't sure of what he'd do. he'd just have to wait and see what happens.
