Water Style: Water Wall (B: Rank)

Fools... Each and every one of those creeps... Fools... Salzem thought these things to himself as he limped through town, holding his right hand over his left shoulder. He had received a wound there when he did battle with a few bullies who were harassing a couple of kids. He was not in much pain, and the bleeding was sparse, but he wanted a place of quiet, of solitude. A place where he would be think about... anything. ANYTHING to block out his inner demons. Fools... It echoed through his mind as he walked. Contempt and hatred filled each word that entered his mind. It was all he could do to keep himself from screaming in frustration. He found himself in the Training Grounds. He often found himself here. Strangely, it seemed more like a place of rest then training. He sat himself against the base of a tree trunk, trying to clear his thoughts. It was one of the hardest things Salzem ever had to do to just let it go. To direct his thoughts elsewhere felt like the equivalent of fighting a tailed beast. But his hate did relent. His rage did subside as he let the calm of the forest sweep over him and wash away his negative thoughts. When he thought that he had calmed, Salzem got up, ready to return home. As soon as he got to his feet, however, he felt something strike the back of his head. Hard. Salzem stumbled a little, red eyes bursting to life once again with rage. He whirled around quickly, hoping to get a GOOD look at his attacker to find... nothing. Of course! His eyes were drawn downward to a scroll that now laid a t his feet, as normal as you please. Salzem glanced around the trees, hoping to find someone hiding amongst the leaves. Nothing. If Salzem got any more angry, he was sure he would burst into flames. He forced deep breaths into his lungs and out through his nose. Noisy? Yes. Effective? Yep. Salzem calmed down again, bending down and picking up the scroll. Where did you come from? Salzem thought as he opened it up.

Salzem sat down against a tree trunk while he opened up the scroll. Water Wall was the title. What kind of person just throws scrolls like these around? This is a B-Rank Jutsu. Surely this should be in the hands of a chunin or something... Salzem's first impulse was to bring the scroll to the Ninja Academy. Perhaps the teachers knew who this thing belonged to. However... the more he thought about it... Well, there couldn't be any harm in learning it's knowledge BEFORE returning the scroll could there? Salzem had conflicting feelings. His morality says he should return it now. His practicality says return it later. Choices are so hard! Salzem let out a sigh. He was tired of this. Why couldn't he just go back to the way he was? When things were so much simpler? Salzem reluctantly opened up the scroll, absorbing it's knowledge. Salzem read the signs, Tiger, Snake, Rat, Snake, Tiger, absently making the seals with his hands as he read. From what the scroll said, a large amount of water must be present to preform the jutsu, created by the ninja or otherwise. It apparently acts as an effective barrier, blocking and redirecting all which strike it. Salzem's reading continues, reading the amount of chakra required, the most famous people who used it, etc. Salzem, strangely, did not feel excited that he held such a powerful jutsu in in hands. He shrugged, his sanguine eyes gazing over the ink upon the scroll. He figured he had to try now that he had it. He put his hands together, and began to weave the signs.
