The Air we Breath is Stale with Mold... (P)

Dominic hobbled through the black market, in a drunken swagger, calling out slurs to anyone who passed near him. He had had a little too much to drink, and was looking for a fight.

Akari Neku, a man of great pride as well as great shame, found himself along the back streets of the black market. It was dark outside, allowing zero visibility. He really didn't wanna be here anymore. Insults had been thrown at him like cheap women, all from heads unworthy. He wished he could find a savior in this dark place, but he doubted it. He felt like a satellite in this place, a constant weight bearing down on him, making him feel as though he could collapse at any moment. Some of the hooligans in this place seemed to need some re-education. Neku's eyes grew weary, he had truly been awake too long.

Now that we're done with that, a boy came across Neku in a drunken stupor, throwing cusses and insults every which way. He could use to learn some respect... Shoving his way into the boy's path, Neku would bump his shoulder forcefully against the boy. "You know, you should watch that tongue of yours. In a place like this, it could get you killed..." Neku would say, looking the boy in the eyes.

Dominic swaggered back towards the man after being shoved by Neku, fists swinging blindly at his face. He couldn't say no to this fight! He won't back down, he won't run and hide! He was about to swing this man's life away! Another punch would be directed at Neku's throat, Dominic cursing into the wind as he attacked.

Neku would see the fists swinging for his face, filled with the anger and rage of a man who's judgment was clouded by alcohol. Ah, what a beautiful indifference. They were after the same thing, no? No. This boy was foolish. Neku would duck under the boy's fists, and in one fluid movement, grab a knife from a nearby table and slice it across the boy's throat, before bringing it backwards and jabbing it into his jugular. This move would surely kill him if it connected. Neku was an artist when it came to things like this. If he couldn't make the kill look gracious and beautiful as it was deadly, then what was the point?

In his drunken state, dom could not react. His head fell to the ground, and in his last moments, he thought he heard the dirt whisper. He muttered for it to speak again, but the dirt made not a sound. With his last breath, he choked out the words...
"Tis merely a flesh wound..."

Neku would note the boy's words and mark them in his mind. He would forever remember this poor boy's last words, and he would also take the money from his corpse because why not. After that, he would take the corpse of the boy and throw it over his shoulder, taking it with him.

Neku would walk out of the black market like 'wut up I just killed a kid, I stole all the money from his wallet. It was equivalent to 20 dollars and now I must make my way to some semblance of a clothes store for my clothes are stained with blood and dirt'
