1. Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind and 1000 years of death
Ryuu Hyuuga began to get tired of learning Taijutsu, all he had been learning for the passed few weeks had been taijutsu from his Bloodline jutsu and his Byakugan. So Ryuu decided that he was going to learn a technique that used the elemental chakra nature that he had been born with, being Katon, or fire style. Ryuu couldn’t figure out which jutsu he wanted to learn, so he decided to head into town, until he was able to figure out what exactly he wanted to learn. Ryuu began walking around his house for a while. He started in his bedroom, just waking up and staring at the ceiling in his room. Ryuu then decided to get up and head into the restroom, Ryuu hopped in the shower, he loved the feeling of the hot water rushing down his back. Ryuu finished with his shower, and brushed his teeth, once he was done keeping up his hygiene. Ryuu then, moved into the kitchen, after getting dressed. Ryuu grabbed himself some instant ramen, cooked it, and then sat down at the table. After he was done eating, it was time for him to the town and decide on the next jutsu that he was going to perfect. Ryuu grabbed his pack, got dressed, and headed out the door. Ryuu walked through the village, walking by the ramen shop down the street, the shop that had unknowingly taught him so much, he passed by the Kazekage’s chambers, a place in which he had only been a few times, when he was going to get assigned his missions. He also passed by the village gates, a place that he was going to be passing through very soon to leave this village and hit the rest of the world with a force! Ryuu then began to think about Salzem, he wondered how he was going to be while he and Ryuu were going to be on the road together, Ryuu hoped that he and Salzem were going to get along very well, but based on their last interaction, it really made Ryuu wonder. “He seemed very mean and angry, but Ryuu decided that it didn’t really matter how Salzem was, the only thing that mattered, is that they were going to be outside of this village, and he was only going to get stronger and stronger.Ryuu continued to walk through town, he saw the bookstore in the distance, and he began to walk toward the store. Ryuu figured that there had to be a books somewhere in that store that had a couple Fire Style Jutsus. Ryuu walked into the bookstore and greeted the lady behind the counter, Ryuu asked her where the books that had to do with jutsus were, the lady told him where the books were, and he followed her directions. Ryuu skimmed through the titles of the books that were on the spines. Ryuu found books on Wind-Style, Water-Style, Earth-Style, Lightning-Style, there were books that had all the different styles of elements and their respective jutsus. Ryuu finally found the book that had to do with Fire Style jutsu, Ryuu grabbed the book and began reading. Ryuu found a jutsu that caught his eye, “Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind, that sounds awesome!” Ryuu then continued to read into the jutsu, learned that the hand seals were Monkey, Bird, Dog, and then Ram. Ryuu continued reading the book about the Flame Whirlwind. He came across a piece of the book that talked about the dimensions of the whirlwind that is produced in this jutsu, “forty meters in diameter! That is pretty impressive, this would be a perfect jutsu to learn for battle. This would not only improve my long range, but it would also improve my abilities all together, with my Byakugan and Eight Trigram, or my Hyuuga Taijutsu techniques, this is going to help my mid to long range fighting, making me a more all around type of fighter!” Ryuu was excited as he continued to read about the Fire Style: Flame Whirlwind. Realizing more and more that this was going to be his next jutsu that he was going to learn. He had been training his Taijutsu so much lately that he had been neglecting his own nature element of his chakra, being fire. So this made Ryuu more and more happy that he was going to learn a new jutsu in the Katon category. Ryuu put the book back on the shelf and began to walk toward the Training Grounds to begin his training immediately. Ryuu continued to look around the village, already slightly missing it in a way, but no amount of homesickness he can or will experience, it would not measure up to the pride and joy that he would experience knowing that he, a lowly ninja, was leaving his home village to find his destiny, and on the way he was going to accomplish the mission that he had set for himself, to bring those missing nin parents of his, back to the village, either dead or alive. Ryuu was closing in on the Training Grounds, he began thinking about the time that he spent learning the Eight Trigrams: One Hundred and Twenty Eight Palms. He thought about how he was not able to get passed Sixty Four strikes. But then when he began thinking about his parents, his anger that he felt drove him through the pain and enabled him to get passed the One hundred and Twenty Eighth strike. Ryuu then remembered when he was learning the Fire Release: Fire Stream Jutsu, he did the same thing when he was daydreaming about burning them both alive in the cottage on the hill top. Ryuu began to see a pattern, his hatred and anger toward his parents enabled him to push through pain that he experienced more efficiently. Ryuu decided to keep this fact in his mind, “If I experience the same plateau, he might just need to use this knowledge to help him get passed through this technique as well.
Ryuu reached the Training Grounds, after his nice walk around of the Sand Village, the village that he has called home since his birth. Ryuu went through the gates and noticed that there was no one else in the training grounds. Ryuu liked this, he didn’t like it when there were others around, he found that having the entire area of the training grounds to himself was nice and relaxing, this way, he could focus on the jutsu at hand, and not so much on the pressure of others watching him, whether it meant them watching Ryuu failing, or even succeeding, either way, it made Ryuu feel slightly uncomfortable. Ryuu walked into the area that looked over the cliff, this area had a rickety wooden fence, this was the only thing that was stopping any ninja or even regular citizen of the Sand Village from falling to their death, that would be falling from the very large cliff that hung before the training grounds. Ryuu stood in front of the rickety gate, and looked down, then looked right, then looked left, then he looked straight forward. Ryuu was making sure that he had at least a hundred square feet clearance, making sure that he had air to burn, rather than anything that he could damage. Ryuu then equipped his pouch, by releasing his five kunai and five shuriken from his scroll. Ryuu performed this by first, sitting down on the ground, grabbing the blank scroll that he carried in his pouch, and released each item from his scroll one by one. Still leaving the smoke bombs and explosive tags in his scroll. Ryuu then put the tools in his pouch, that was tied to his left leg, and a second pouch that was tied to his right arm. Ryuu had the Kunai in the left pouch on his leg, and he stored the shuriken in the pouch on his right arm. Ryuu then got up and readied himself for another long day of training, where hopefully he was going to be able to master another Fire Jutsu. Ryuu decided to start with his warm up, as he always did when he went out for training. Ryuu set his pack down on the floor, leaning on the rickety gate that was in between him and cliff. Ryuu then activated his Byakugan, and began to run around the Training Grounds. As he was running, he could feel that his training was really beginning to pay off, he was not in the least bit tired, and he could begin to feel that the Byakugan was almost a second nature, he could barely feel the Byakugan using any bit of his chakra. Ryuu kept running around the training grounds, until he could feel the fire of exhaustion build up in his legs. After about thirty laps around the Training Grounds, he began to feel the burn in his legs, so he decided that that was going to be enough for that part of the warm up. He then grabbed another leaf that he grabbed from one of the trees in the village. He put the leaf on his palm, channeled his chakra into his palm, and watched as the leaf burned almost immediately. Ryuu then decided that he was ready to begin the training of the Fire Release: Flame Whirlwind. Ryuu walked up to the gate overlooking the cliff, he was standing next to his bag, and he began his training. The way that he began was to start with his most basic, and his only other fire technique, the Fire Stream. Ryuu performed the hand seal required for the Fire Stream, saying what the hand seal was as he performed it, “half tiger seal” and then he yelled what the jutsu was, “Fire Style: Fire Stream Jutsu!” Ryuu then gathered his chakra in his lungs, he felt the chakra swirling around in his lungs, Ryuu then began blowing as hard as he could, and he felt the chakra turn to fire and blow to a distance of three meters long. Ryuu then realized just how sad it was, his abilities in the Fire element category. “The only thing that I can do is spit out a small amount of fire from my mouth that only goes three meters away from my body. This is exactly why I need this jutsu, I need to prove that I am a true Fire Style Shinobe, and with this jutsu, this will be the perfect stepping stone for me proving that fact. This jutsu will open the door wide open for the rest of my Fire jutsu career. Ryuu then performed the Fire Style: Fire stream jutsu, just so he could get used to the chakra building up in his lungs, and then shortly afterward, forcing the chakra out of his body and then once it is out, turning this chakra into fire, and then forcing out to a certain distance. Ryuu repeated this process several times to get used to his chakra’s nature composition. Once Ryuu felt that he was ready to move on to the more major jutsu, he decided to rest for a little while, while he regained his strength from his continuous use of his Byakugan while also performing his Fire Style technique again and again to practice his Fire training. Ryuu also wanted to make sure that he had all the chakra that he could, gathered in his body, and to have plenty of energy to begin the major jutsu training. Ryuu decided to lie down on the ground of the training grounds, Ryuu began staring up into the sky, realizing what a beautiful blue sky they had that day. Ryuu slowly felt his eyes became heavier and heavier as he lied down. Ryuu then thought about what life would be like outside the gates. From the village, it looked like a whole bunch of sand. But then Ryuu thought of the lessons he learned about the other nations in the world, like the Fire Nation and what not. He then thought about Konohagakure, the Village Hidden in the leaves. Ryuu had no idea how that would be possible, mainly because the only thing he had ever seen in his life was sand. He knew that he wanted to go to all of the different countries and all the different nations. Just so he could say that he saw everything there was to see, he wanted to witness hundreds of different fighting styles, and all the different types of ecosystems in the world, to see a land full of trees and grass and greeneries. “That is the dream!” Ryuu said to himself, calmly.
Ryuu then got up on one knee, still feeling the burn from the days warm up, “Whew! Running that much puts a nice burn on the legs.” Ryuu said to himself as he slowly got up onto both feet and stood up straight. Ryuu knew that this was when he was going to do it, he was going to master the Fire Style: Flame Whirlwind! Ryuu began to walk toward the fence, toward the cliff, and he began to perform the required hand seals for this jutsu, saying the name of the hand seal as he performed them, “Monkey, Bird, Dog, Ram”. Ryuu channeled his chakra into his body and tried to picture the fire swirling around him like a whirlwind. Ryuu concentrated with a clear mind, he just tried to focus the chakra in his body and have it swirl around him. He felt the fire begin to produce, he could feel the heat of the flames, he opened his eyes and he could see the fire flow around him. It continued and continued, he tried to focus the chakra as hard as he could, so it would be strong enough to be launched into the air, which would be in an actual battle, toward my opponent, but in this case of me just training, it would be thrown into the nothingness that was the open air. Ryuu felt the fire get stronger and stronger until he was no longer able to control the swirling fire. He thrusted his hands forward, as if he was literally throwing the fire as if it was a log. But even then he lost control of the fire and it continued to swirl around him, and slowly, the fire went out. Ryuu was confused as to why he was having such a problem when it came to controlling the fire that was swirling around him. Ryuu definitely knew that he was able to control his chakra, so why was this so much harder to control. This is when Ryuu realized that he had not practiced controlling his fire, he had only practiced controlling his chakra. Ryuu decided that he needed to practice his Fire Stream, and figure out how to continue it. Ryuu realized that he needed to make sure that he could sustain his chakra flow, and its nature recomposition. But to do this, he was not going to be able to finish his training today, he was going to make sure that tomorrow he was going to have plenty of energy so he can finish off this training. Ryuu sat down next to his pack, unrolled his scroll in which he had been storing all of his things in, and began storing his kunai from his left pouch, and the shuriken from his right pouch, he loaded his scroll back into his pouch, and left the training grounds. On his way home, Ryuu decided to eat his favorite meal ever invented, Ramen. Ryuu loved ramen, no matter what kind, whether it be instant ramen, or the ramen that is made at the Ramen shop. Ryuu walked into the restaurant and was greeted unanimously by the people inside. Ryuu had become a regular in the restaurant, but it was still nice to be appreciated in the village by some people. Ryuu sat down at the bar, like he always did, and then he browsed through the menu. Ryuu had eaten there so many times, he knew exactly what was on the menu that he wanted. Ryuu ordered the ramen with the most meat, as usual. Ryuu ate his ramen with a luxurious speed. When Ryuu had finished, he began walking home, because he knew that he had a big day the next day and he wanted to make sure that he got plenty of rest before he was to go back to the training grounds and master that jutsu. Ryuu arrived home, hopped into the shower, after he was clean, he jumped into bed and quickly fell asleep.
Ryuu woke up the next day full of excitement, “I am going to nail this thing!” Ryuu yelled as he was hopping out of bed. Ryuu then quickly got into the shower, and washed his body, then he brushed his teeth, he then ran into the kitchen and made himself a bowl of the instant ramen, but this time he even dropped an egg in it! Ryuu then got dressed in his bedroom, he flew into his clothing. Ryuu then grabbed his pack, and bursted through the front door. Ryuu began sprinting to the Training Grounds, he passed by the Kazekage building, the village gates, and the ramen shop. But this time passing them was different, he didn’t really care about them, all he could bring himself to care about, was mastering this jutsu. Ryuu arrived at the training grounds and went to the same spot as yesterday, the area overlooking the cliff. Ryuu then dropped his pack, didn’t even worry about his kunai or shuriken, he wasn’t going to need them. Ryuu then began his warm up, but he rushed right through it. He activated his Byakugan and began sprinting around the training grounds. Ryuu then stopped at the spot he was going to train, and he readied himself for the training of this jutsu. Ryuu performed the half tiger seal for the Fire Stream Jutsu. Ryuu gathered the chakra in his lungs, and blew out of his mouth. The fire spewed out of his mouth, and Ryuu tried to sustain the fire for as long as he could, all he wanted was to know that he could control the fire. After Ryuu had mastered controlling that fire, he decided that it was time for him to go into the next stage, the major jutsu training for the Flame Hurricane.
Ryuu performed the hand seals, “Monkey, Bird, Dog, Ram” Ryuu said as he performed the hand seals. Ryuu gathered the chakra and began feeling the chakra swirling inside of his body. Ryuu then applied his chakra nature and the chakra began turning into fire, the fire began slowly swirling around him. The fire began spinning faster and faster, Ryuu was giving it his all to control the fire and to keep it going. Ryuu could feel the fire slipping out of control, but he began concentrating harder and harder, and before he knew it, the fire was under his control and spinning faster than ever. Ryuu then thrusted his hands forward, trying to throw the fire forward. But the fire did not go as far as he had hoped, it only traveled a meter away from his body. So Ryuu decided to try again, Ryuu gathered the chakra, tried making it swirl faster and faster before releasing the nature composition. He kept holding on and holding on until he felt it swirling fast enough. Ryuu then released the chakra as he applied his nature composition, being fire. The Fire then was released from his body, erupting like a fully mature volcano. The fire swirling around him faster than ever, but this time the feeling was different. He didn’t feel the fire fighting to get out of his control, he felt to be in complete control. He felt the fire going faster and faster, and when Ryuu felt like he was ready, he gathered his strength and thrusted his arms directly forward. He felt the fire fly forward, it kept going and going until it hit the mountain of sand on the other side of the canyon of sand. Ryuu was finally able to do another B rank jutsu, and finally able to do a jutsu that was worth talking about in the Katon category. The A rank jutsu - Fire Release: Flame Hurricane!
Ryuu was not done there, however, Ryuu was not done with his mastering of techniques. Ryuu had heard a couple people in the village talk about a taijutsu technique that sounded like it was one that only the masters could learn. It was called “A thousand years of Death”. Ryuu ran to the bookstore, he knew that even that technique had some book or scroll dedicated to it. Something sounding that amazing must have at least something! Ryuu got into the bookstore, and asked the lady behind the counter if there was anything on the technique “One Thousand Years of Death”. The lady looked at Ryuu with a confused look on her face, and then giggled once she realized what he was talking about. She told Ryuu where the book he was looking for was, Ryuu walked over to where the lady had said the book was, and as he was looking for it, he found a book that was called “Unconventional Taijutsu”. Ryuu grabbed the book, because he thought that it might be an interesting and funny read. As he was looking through the book, he found a page that had the words in bold and capitalized written on the top “ONE THOUSAND YEARS OF DEATH!” Ryuu then was confused on what the book would be about. “How could a jutsu sounding this awesome be in a book like this?” Ryuu then began to read the chapter and he just realized just how wrong he was. “This jutsu is not at all what I thought!” Ryuu laughed to himself and he continued to read the chapter.
Ryuu put the book back on the shelf, and began to walk out of the bookstore, when he caught the librarian shoot him a look of hilarity, Ryuu was instantly embarrassed because what he thought to be some amazing jutsu, was actually just a simple minded, practical joke that would be used to humiliate an opponent, rather than to defeat him in battle. But then Ryuu thought, “Wow, this would actually really hurt!” Ryuu began laughing himself at the thought of actually using this in battle and how humiliating and yet still painful this technique would actually be. “The ending of the chapter, talking about instead of using your fingers and using an explosive tag or kunai could make this a lethal technique, rather than just a joke. That is actually very true, this is still a good technique to keep in mind.” Ryuu thought as he was walking toward the Training Grounds. When Ryuu arrived at the Training Grounds, he was not entirely sure what he was going to do in regards to training this technique. So he decided to first get the movement down first. Ryuu first sat down on the ground, set his pack down directly in front of him, grabbed his scroll that housed all of his tools. Ryuu then released three of his kunai knives and loaded up his pouch on his left leg. Ryuu then threw one of his kunai knives ten meters in front of him. Ryuu decided that the way he was going to train this technique was to body flicker to the area behind the kunai and then perform the technique. Ryuu got into a fighting stance, flickered to the area, only half a meter behind the kunai knife, performed the Tiger hand seal, and thrusted forward at the height that would be his opponents butt. Ryuu figured that this would be the exact way to perform this technique, so he tried it a few times, trying to get it faster and faster, until finally he thought that he got it. So he summoned a clone, Ryuu had the clone stand still in front of the kunai knife, he flickered again, only a quarter meter behind the kunai, performed the hand seal and thrusted forward as hard as he could, and his aim was perfect and the speed was spot on. He had learned the more than simple technique of the Thousand Years of Death!

Ryuu Hyuuga began to get tired of learning Taijutsu, all he had been learning for the passed few weeks had been taijutsu from his Bloodline jutsu and his Byakugan.

2. Great Dragon Fire Technique
“Ryuu, what a name.” Ryuu thought to himself as he was lying in bed. Ryuu had known what his name meant for a long time. The name that he was given at birth was Ryuu, which meant “Dragon Spirit”. When Ryuu had first learned this fact, he thought how perfect it was that he was given the Fire element at birth as well. Ryuu loved fire, he loved the beauty of it. Fire is strong, fire is relentless, just like Ryuu was. Him and fire had a lot in common in those ways. Ryuu remembered back when he learned the Fire stream technique, how he would picture himself as a dragon. Ryuu remembered that very fondly, and almost like it was a picture implanted into his brain. But then Ryuu thought about all the work that he had done in the past few days. Ryuu had learned a new fire jutsu, a B rank jutsu, the Flame Hurricane, his Byakugan, both the Eight Trigrams: Sixty Four palms and the Eight Trigrams: One hundred and Twenty Eight Palms. But Ryuu felt like he was still nowhere close to being ready to fight for himself and take care of himself when he passes through those gates. Ryuu didn’t know when, or if, he was ever going to feel ready. But he just realized that he was going to have to learn as much as he possibly could and get as strong as he possibly could before the time came for him and Salzem to leave Sunagakure and be on the road for however long, which was another thing that Ryuu had no idea of. Ryuu had no idea when he was going to be able to return, if he was going to at all. There was so many uncertainties, but Ryuu knew one thing for sure, he was going to leave this village. That was one thing that he knew was going to happen, because it needed to happen. If Ryuu was to stay in the village, he would never get any farther in life, he would just sit in between the walls in his cozy little life, and never get any farther. Ryuu didn’t want that, Ryuu wanted to make sure that he was able to grow and grow with absolutely no restrictions or guidelines. Ryuu wanted to grow by any means necessary. “So where do I go from here? What do I do from here?” Ryuu had many more questions than he did answers. Ryuu had no idea what jutsu he should learn, or even whether it should be taijutsu, ninjutsu, or he might even get ambitious and try out Genjutsu. Ryuu then didn’t know which answer was the right one. So he decided to walk around the village for a short while, while he tried to make up his mind on what he should do with his last few weeks here in Sunagakure. Ryuu still couldn’t think of anything so he went into the Ramen shop. Shortly after arriving in the ramen shop, he was greeted by the cook. The cook and Ryuu had become quite the friends lately, being that ryuu went into the restaurant almost every single day of the week, before, during, and even after his training. The chef handed Ryuu a bowl of Ramen, the broth still steaming, the meat cooked to perfection, and the noodles with the perfect texture, Ryuu’s eyes widened, he thanked the chef, which made him cackle and tell Ryuu that it was no problem and to enjoy. Ryuu did just that, as Ryuu continued eating the Ramen, Ryuu became more and more excited for the day and happier and happier about the day that he had been given. Ryuu finished his ramen and tipped the chef, he thanked him and walked out of the restaurant. Ryuu was starting to get tired, so he decided to call it a day and head back home. While he was walking through the village, he passed by the book store in town. This is where Ryuu had been learning of the jutsus that he wanted to learn. This is where he had been finding the passed few jutsus. Just like the One Thousand Years of Death and the Flame Hurricane, and a few more! Ryuu decided to browse through the fire style jutsu boos, so he could decide on which jutsu he was going to try to learn next. Ryuu walked through the aisles, found the Katon (Fire Release Section of chakra) area of the library and began scanning through the countless books that there were. Ryuu found some books that were on more taijutsu techniques, but Ryuu did not feel like learning anymore Taijutsu, then he continued to scan, and he found some books that were on Genjutsu, but he kept scanning. Then Ryuu found a shelf that was full of Katon (Fire Release) Ninjutsus. Ryuu scanned the shelf and he found the Fire Stream, a jutsu that he already had learned, and he found a book that was about the Fire Release: Flame Hurricane. Ryuu became proud of himself when he found two different jutsu books that were on jutsus that he already knew. Ryuu was smiling the rest of the time he was scanning the shelf. Ryuu continued until he found the book all the way at the end of the shelf and it really caught his eye with the title. “Fire Release: Dragon Flame Jutsu”. Ryuu then began thinking about what his name meant again, and he instantly grabbed the book to begin the reading to see what this jutsu could do. Ryuu opened the book and began to read through the book talking about this certain jutsu. Ryuu read through the chapter that talked about what this jutsu did and began to read it aloud, “The user turns his or her chakra into a Dragon head-Shaped Fireball, by applying their natural composition to said chakra. Then the user is allowed to manipulate the dragon head shaped fireball into the direction the user would like it to go up to thirty meters! Then even out of the thirty meter range, the dragon head shaped fireball still will fly, it is just harder to manipulate.” Ryuu closed the book, and he immediately decided that this was going to be his next technique that he was not only going to learn, but going to master. Ryuu then got out of the section of the library dedicated to Katon (Fire Release), and headed to the front counter. Ryuu asked if he would be allowed to check out this book for a couple days and the librarian said he could. So Ryuu did just that, he checked out the book, headed out of the libraries door, and began his way to the Training Grounds to begin his training of this technique. On his way to the training grounds, Ryuu was still reading through the book and he reached the “Affects” part of the jutsu’s description. It read that anyone caught in the technique could potentially be reduced to ashes. Ryuu couldn’t stop thinking how great it could be to actually learn to bring out a dragon fireball, “It would almost be like bringing out my Ryuu, which means Dragon Spirit, into the world to destroy anything in my path. Ryuu was excited at the fact that he was going to learn this jutsu, he was going to learn how to create a dragon from sheer chakra. Ryuu continued to read as he got closer to the training grounds, he read that this was a B ranked ninjutsu, which would mean that it wasn’t going to be all that easy to learn, but he had already learned a few B ranked already, so it wasn’t anything he wasn’t capable of completing, and he also learned that only those with the Fire element could perform this technique, which was completely obvious and made sense, those with the earth technique wouldn’t be able to create a Fire dragon. Ryuu skimmed back in the book and he found that if he was to master this technique, he would be able to fire off several flames back to back! Ryuu continued to get more and more excited at the idea of mastering this technique. Ryuu finally reached the training Grounds, Ryuu walked through the gates, and saw that the training grounds was fairly empty this time around, which Ryuu was happy for, he walked over to the rickety fence that overlooked the cliff, where he had learned the Fire Stream, mastered the Flame Hurricane, and now he was going to add another to that list, the Fire Release: Dragon Flame Jutsu!
Ryuu leaned on the rickety bridge and looked out into the desert, and just marveled at its beauty. But Ryuu was still knowing that, even in all its beauty, there were even more beautiful lands out there. Just waiting for him to explore and to live in, like the Village hidden in the Leaves, Konohagakure. Ryuu then sat down and put his pack directly in front of him, Ryuu grabbed his scroll and began to release a few of his kunai and shuriken, two of each, when he was finished with the releasing of those objects. Ryuu stood back up, and began his warm up, like he did before all workouts. Ryuu activated his Byakugan, and began jogging around the training grounds, he then began to run just a little faster, than he began to sprint. Ryuu ran as fast as he could around the training grounds, until he could begin to feel the burn in his lungs and his legs. Ryuu stopped for a second, and rested, once he felt like his body was ready for the vigourous training, he stood up, walked toward the fence, he looked into the book to see what hand seals were required to perform this jutsu. “Alright, that’s amazing. I can create this dragon with only using one hand seal, and that seal is Tiger.” Ryuu then put the book down, performed the hand seal, but before he performed the technique, Ryuu realized that he should probably work his way up to this technique, by performing the techniques that he already mastered that deals with fire, the flame hurricane and the fire stream. This is what ryuu had done for all of his new techniques, working his way up from the lesser ones. Ryuu then performed the hand seal for the fire stream, which was just the half tiger seal. He gathered the chakra into his lungs, and he blew out of his mouth, the fire came out with ease, and with force as Ryuu began blowing harder and harder. Ryuu then stopped this technique. He then wanted to move up the ladder in his techniques but stay in the same category, the technique that he would use is the only other fire style ninjutsu that he had learned at this point, which would be the Fire Release: Flame Hurricane. Ryuu performed the hand seals required for the jutsu, which were Monkey, Bird, Dog, Ram. After performing the hand seals, he began having his chakra swirl around him inside his body at first, the fire began going faster and faster around, he then applied his natural composition, being fire, to it. Ryuu released the chakra, which was now a blazing inferno, outside of his body, which was swirling into what looked like an actual hurricane on a very small scale, he then grew the fire until it reached its max radius of twenty meters, or 40 meters across, he then held the fire there for a second, having it swirl as fast as he possibly could make it do so. Ryuu then thrusted his hands forward, and the hurricane of fire went just as Ryuu’s hands did, the fire thrusted forward in the direction that Ryuu’s hands had made it, the hurricane was fast in its travels, going at a speed of forty, and hurled directly into the mountain of sand and rock across the valley, like before, but much quicker now, for he had mastered the technique. Ryuu had finished with the practicing of those two justus, and he felt confident in his abilities to control and maintain his fire for the sake of the jutsu. Ryuu then felt ready to perform the Dragon Flame Jutsu!
Ryuu got into a fighting stance, he performed the hand seal required for this technique, being Tiger. Once he performed the hand seal, he compressed his chakra, as best he could, into his body, readying himself to perform the second stage of this technique. He compressed his chakra for as long as he could, gathering the chakra on top of the already compressed chakra, he repeated this process over and over until he could no longer hold it, Ryuu then applied his natural composition onto his chakra, and then he released it. He saw fire raging all around him, but for some reason he was not able to get it to move, he thrusted his hands forward, for he thought this was how the jutsu was supposed to be done, the fire just continued to roar, so he canceled out the chakra and tried to think as to why the jutsu didn’t work. Ryuu then sat down next to his pack that was leaning on the fence overlooking on the cliff. Ryuu leaned on the fence, grabbed his pack, and began looking through the contents. Ryuu saw the book that was about the jutsu, and he began to read how to perform the jutsu, to see what he may have gotten wrong about the performance of the technique. Ryuu read and read on the jutsu until he realized what he had gotten wrong. What Ryuu thought he had to throw the dragon shaped fireball, he instead actually blew the chakra out of his body, shape it into a dragon’s head, and then he was able to manipulate it from there. Ryuu realized his mistake, and readied himself to correct said mistake. Ryuu got into his fighting stance again, he began to feel his chest getting heavy. He performed the tiger hand seal, he compressed his chakra, but then his left knee gave out on him due to exhaustion. Ryuu fell to the floor, unable to move, let alone stand up. Ryuu laid on the floor for a while, staring up at the sky, feeling his lungs ale him every time he was to breath in or out. Ryuu laid there in pain, until finally someone decided to give him a hand and help him get home. Ryuu laid in bed for the night, writhing in pain, unable to sleep. Ryuu tried everything he could, but it just ended up with him lying flat on his back on his bed, staring at the sky. Ryuu couldn’t determine what exactly it was that making him hurt as bad as it was. Ryuu decided that it best try not to think about it, and just focus on relaxing enough to try and get as much sleep as he possibly could. Ryuu finally fell asleep after hours of him lying there, staring at the ceiling, thinking of the dragon spirit coming out of him in the medium of being a fireball made of chakra.
Ryuu woke up the next morning, and he remembered what he had done wrong, he found this out by reading the book a little bit more. He sat up in his bed, swung his feet off the side of the bed, grabbed the book on the end table next to his bed, opened the book, and continued to read it with extreme attention to detail. He read and he read and he read, until finally Ryuu felt that he was going to be able to nail this jutsu! Ryuu slowly got up from his bed, and walked into his bathroom, he got into the shower, he turned on the hot water, he wanted it as hot as possible, trying to release the tension in his muscles all over his body. Ryuu then got out of the shower, and he slowly dried himself off. Not wanting to press to hard against the areas that his body was very tender to the touch. Ryuu then walked back into his bedroom, and carefully and cautiously got dressed. Ryuu then grabbed his pack, and walked out of his bedroom. Ryuu glanced at the picture that hung above his door to his bedroom, the picture of him and his parents. Ryuu stared at it for a few seconds. He wondered what they would say to him when they saw how much he had grown, what his parents would do when they saw his power, would they fight? Would they run? Or would they want to be part of his life again? These are the things that began to flow through Ryuu’s mind. Ryuu wanted to stop thinking about it, but even though all he ever tried to do was to forget his parents, he realized that even though they had never been there to push him, Ryuu remembered the times that he couldn’t get his jutsus right, or he couldn’t push through the pain, all he had to do was remember his parents, and remember how they left him. He could always get through the pain, he always got those jutsus right. So even though they were never there for him directly, they would always be the ones who pushed him passed his own limitations. Ryuu then went into the kitchen, ate himself breakfast like he did every morning. He then ate his ramen, slowly, for the movement of his body was causing him great pains in his side and in his chest. Ryuu got up from the table, threw the styrofoam dish away, put the silverware in the sink, and headed back into his bedroom. Ryuu got dressed in his training gear, grabbed his two empty pouches and tied one onto his right arm, just above the elbow, onto the bicep and tricep. The other pouch, he tied to his left leg, above the knee, right onto the quadricep. Ryuu then walked out of the door, grabbing the book and putting it in his bag on the way out. Ryuu then lightly walking toward the training grounds. Ryuu arrived at the training grounds, and saw that it was full today. This was exactly what Ryuu didn’t want, but he was fine with it. He saw the spot where he was training yesterday, was empty, so he didn’t mind how full the training grounds might have been. Ryuu walked over to the spot, sat down, and set his pack directly in front of him. Ryuu then grabbed his scroll, and began releasing all of his kunai and shuriken from the scroll, which equalled to be five kunai knives and five ninja stars (otherwise known as shuriken). Ryuu then got up from where he was sitting, and he then performed his warm up. After he felt warmed up, he walked back to the spot of the training grounds. Ryuu then began starting his training directly with Dragon Flame Jutsu. Ryuu performed the Tiger seal. yelled “Dragon Flame Jutsu!” Ryuu then compressed his chakra, quickly released it, the fire rose and immediately turned into a massive inferno around his body, he began picturing the same day dream that he pictured when he learned the fire stream. He pictured the little cottage on the hill, then this time instead of picturing himself burning the house down, he picture himself summoning the dragon to do the dirty work for him. The dragon was a massive, yet beautiful beast, made of one hundred percent fire. The dragon came out of his mouth, and began to soar through the air like a real dragon. He could see the small cottage, where he saw his parents hiding, he found this out by using his Byakugan. The dragon flew threw the air, he could see his parents running around the house trying to figure out what to do. But it was too late, Ryuu was controlling the dragon with his mind. Ryuu had the dragon commence his nose dive, directly into the cottage, where the next thing he saw was a massive explosion and all that was left, was ash. Ryuu then opened his eyes and he blew as hard as he could. The next thing he saw was a massive dragon, just like the one he had pictured in his daydreams, the dragon flew straight forward with a speed of fifty. But just before the dragon went out to its thirty meters, being the max range, Ryuu made the dragon go straight up, with it being twenty five meters away. Ryuu then made it double back toward himself, when the dragon got three meters away, Ryuu had the dragon turn back around and go straight away from his position, the dragon then reached it 30 meter mark, the distance from him. The dragon then flew straight into the mountain in front of himself, across the valley, the dragon slammed directly into the mountain and the fire grew all over the mountain of sand and rock, which when the smoke had cleared, he saw a dent that his jutsu had made in the side of the mountain. Ryuu was happy with the results of his jutsu, and this is just another jutsu that he could call a jutsu that he had mastered, he was well on his way to make this dream of his, being a grade A shinobe, and the person to kill his missing nin parents, a reality.

3. Great Fire Annihilation and Phoenix Flower Jutsu
Ryuu woke up with a certain glow about him. Ryuu felt happier than he had been lately, Ryuu thought this was because of all of the new techniques that he had been learning. He had just made his number of Fire jutsu to three! Ryuu had been on a roll and he found no reason for him to stop. He wanted to keep going and going until he learned as many jutsu as humanly possible, or until he became one of the strongest shinobe around. Ryuu wanted to figure out what he was going to next. He didn’t want to slow down even for a second, because if he did that, then he felt worried that he was going to stop all together and go into a stagnant stage of training, which is something that he was not at all interested in doing. Ryuu had no clue what his next move was going to be, but Ryuu figured that when he hit the town, just like when he asked that same exact question every single time, he always found the answer right in that bookstore, or in the training grounds. Both places held the answer, he just had to go find it. Ryuu sat up in his bed, and swung his legs off to the side of the bed, he then slowly got up. Kicked on his slippers that he just bought to keep his feet warm in the morning, and headed over to the bathroom so he could get all cleaned up and ready for another day out in the world of training. Ryuu walked over into the bathroom and hopped into the shower, Ryuu had been having the water be hotter and hotter, for the hotter the water was, the better he felt afterward, being that his body was getting pretty banged up after all of this back to back training, but this did not stop him from going to the training grounds, for that was the only way that he was going to be leaving his Village. After just recently finding out that he was not going to be able to leave the village without being Chuunin, he realized that he needed to get stronger than ever, because he was going to have to fight to become chuunin, and he was going to need to fight soon. Ryuu had read a poster on one of the lightposts through town that there was tournament coming up and he decided that he was going to join it. This only meant that Ryuu was going to be going against people that were much stronger, faster, and all around better than he was. Ryuu became instantly discouraged in his own power, sure he knew all of these great techniques, but would they be enough to beat another person in that tournament that is something he had no clue of. Ryuu finished his shower, taking a long one because of all of the day dreaming that he was doing about the tournament coming up. Ryuu got out of the shower and headed into the kitchen, he ate his instant ramen and he began getting ready by putting his clothes on, getting his pack ready, making sure he had the scroll with all of his tools sealed inside. Ryuu then loaded up his pack, tied on his pouches, one on his upper right arm, and one on his upper left leg. Kunai in the lower pouch, shuriken in his upper pouch. Ryuu began heading into town, but prior to him going into the Training Grounds, he decided to think about what technique or jutsu he was going to do was going to have to be found via contemplation, which Ryuu could never manage to do when he was in the training grounds. Ryuu walked through the village, trying to think of what he was going to learn next. Ryuu began thinking as he walked by the Kazekage building, thinking as he passed by the hospital, thinking as he passed just about everything in the village. But he could not think about what he was going to learn next. Ryuu then decided that he was going to go to the same place that he learned his last few jutsus. Ryuu arrived at the bookstore, and the lady behind the counter greeted him, Ryuu greeted her back and began scanning through the shelves inside the bookstore. As Ryuu was perusing the genjutsu section, he decided that he wasn’t ready to begin learning those jutsu, he came through the Taijutsu section, but he decided that he needed more Ninjutsu, being that that was in fact his specialty. Ryuu then walked into the ninjutsu section, he began looking through the masses, being the mass amounts of books that consisted upon those shelves. Ryuu looked through until he was able to find something that intrigued him. Ryuu found the shelf that had the Katon jutsus, being the fire release jutsus. Ryuu read through the higher ranking jutsus, knowing that he needed to learn something more than just his small ranking fire techniques, “an A ranking jutsu would be perfect, for as of now, I only know B ranking techniques or jutsus.” Ryuu said to himself as he looked through the books. Ryuu decided that he did in fact need to learn a jutsu that was of a higher ranking than he was used to, but which one would it be? Ryuu continued to look and look and look until he found a red book that caught his attention, not only with the words on the spine ,but also with the artwork, there was flames that covered the entire spine and front and back cover of the book. Ryuu decided that it had to be worth a look, so Ryuu grabbed the book with the spine that read “Fire Release: Great Fire Annihilation” Ryuu was instantly drawn into this book, for the jutsu sounded like it was a very strong jutsu indeed. Ryuu opened the book and began to look through the pages, trying to get a small gist of what this jutsu did and what it was. Ryuu was surprised at what he had read inside this rather large, red book covered in black and orange flames. Ryuu read a very short description of what this jutsu did, mainly because Ryuu was sure that it was an apt description of what exactly this jutsu did. The description just said that “the user of this jutsu, blows a large cone of fire that expands out, blanketing a wide area, also getting be like a wall of fire.” Ryuu was interested to see what the average size of the wall that is created by this jutsu. Ryuu continued to read until he could find something that could tell him the answer to that question. Ryuu was astounded to read the dimensions of this fire, on average. The fire created by the user is around fifty meters in diameter, but Ryuu also read that this massive wall of fire could also travel, with a speed of fifty and a power of fifty, up to fifty meters away from the user’s position. Ryuu became more and more excited about the jutsu that he was reading on, but he wanted to continue the reading, to see if this technique, was in fact, going to be his next jutsu that he was going to learn, but more importantly, his first A rank jutsu that he would ever learn. Ryuu continued to read the book, and he found that this jutsu also only required one hand seal to perform, which was astounding to Ryuu, “A justsu this powerful, and it only requires one hand seal to perform? Impossible.” Ryuu thought to himself in disbelief at the vision of Ryuu only needing to perform the Horse hand seal, to perform a jutsu that could create that size of an inferno with just that one seal. Ryuu then decided that his was going to be the next jutsu that he learn, no matter what, this jutsu is far too powerful for Ryuu not to know for his own personal arsenal of weapons and jutsu. Ryuu then closed the book shut, walked up to the lady that stood behind the counter of the shop, and asked if he could check out the book so he could learn this jutsu, the woman then obliged. Ryuu thanked the woman behind the counter, put the book in his backpack, and he began walking out into the village and leisurely walked through the village. The bookstore was on the other side of the village from the training grounds, but on his way, Ryuu wanted to stop in at the ramen shop and grab a quick bite to eat. Ryuu began walking toward the shop, when he noticed a family walking down the street, it was two parents and a child. Ryuu always had his spirits shot down when he saw a family like that. Ryuu always thought about what it would have been like if he would have actually had a family in his own life. Ryuu then began thinking that there would have been two different outcomes, either he would have had a family pushing him to become a stronger shinobi, or the family would have actually made him not work nearly as hard, being that his main pushing factor that was making him want to be better and better, was the anger that he felt for his parents, it was the will, or even the need to be stronger than both of his parents, so he could take them in or kill them. But if Ryuu hadn’t had the fact that he had no family, and he had no one in his life to make him feel like he was wanted or needed, he might not have gotten as strong as he already was, or gotten any stronger than he ever will. Ryuu was partially thankful to his parents for leaving him, because if it wasn’t for them leaving and making Ryuu’s life a living hell due to the fact of him being ridiculed and persecuted from the rest of the village, but no amount of thankfulness that Ryuu could ever experience, he still wanted justice to be served to both of them, whether it be by the judicial system of the village, or by their life being taken away from them by his own hands, he just wanted them to pay for what they had done. Ryuu arrived at the Ramen shop and he walked through the door, Ryuu then sat down at the bar, took a menu from the waiter, being that he was offering him one. Ryuu then heard the chef say, “Why do you even take the menu when you already know what you want? You get the same thing every time!” The chef laughed, as did the waiter and Ryuu. Ryuu then agreed with the chef and handed the menu back to the waiter and ordered his usual. The waiter then thanked Ryuu and gave the order to the chef. The chef then took the piece of paper and put it on the line in front of him, which were other orders from the others in the restaurant. Ryuu sat at the bar and waited, thinking about that family just a bit more. Ryuu was so entranced into his daydreams that he completely didn’t realize the chef handing him his order. Ryuu then snapped out of his trance, accepted the food, thanked the chef, and began eating his ramen. Ryuu continued to eat his ramen as he continued to think about the possibilities of his life if he had parents that were a part of it. Ryuu tried to stop thinking about it, but unfortunately that was all that Ryuu could think about. Even as Ryuu finished his ramen, paid his bill, thanked the staff of the ramen shop, and began to walk toward the training grounds, it was continuously on his mind. Ryuu decided to grab the book from his backpack, opened it, and tried to get his mind off of it by reading a little more on the jutsu. Ryuu walked cautiously as he read, he didn’t want to slam into anything that may have been in his way on his path from his position to the training grounds. Ryuu put down his book, for his mind had finally drifted back onto the training at hand, rather than the family that he had seen before the ramen shop. Ryuu put the book back into his pack, put his eyes straight forward, and decided that he was ready to begin his training for his very first A rank Katon jutsu, or first A rank jutsu in general.
Ryuu walked into the Training Grounds and he went to the same spot that he had been practicing all of his fire techniques up to now. Ryuu had only learned a few techniques in the Katon (Fire Release) category. But all of the ones that he had learned up to this point, this is where it all happened, at that same point. Ryuu walked to the fence post, sat down on the ground and leaned his back on the fence. Ryuu then put his pack directly in front of him, opened it up, and grabbed his scroll that held all of his tools inside. Ryuu unraveled the scroll, and he continued until he saw the symbols of all of his tools. Ryuu then released all five of his kunai and all five of ninja stars. Ryuu then grabbed the book on the Fire Annihilation jutsu and got it out of his pack. Ryuu stood up, holding the book open, and after he was done reading the rest of the book, he put the book back into his pack, set the pack against the fence, leaning on it, and then Ryuu began his warm up, knowing this jutsu was going to be much more difficult than the rest, Ryuu made sure this warm up was going to be more effective than the rest. Ryuu began his warm up with a light jog around the training grounds, just a few laps to get the legs activated. Ryuu then activated his Byakugan and then began to run around the Training Grounds at a much faster rate. Ryuu continued this until he felt his entire body activate. Ryuu felt like he was ready to learn this A rank jutsu, no matter how long it took. Ryuu then returned to his starting position, put himself into a battle ready stance, and prepared himself for another vigorous day of training.
Ryuu stared out into the valley, he saw where his last technique, the Great Dragon Fire technique, had left the huge dent in the mountain across the way, and Ryuu became encouraged, “I am going to nail this thing today, for sure!” Ryuu yelled to himself to hype himself up. Ryuu performed the hand seal, he focused his chakra into his lungs, he continued to have it overlap onto itself again and again and again until he felt like the chakra would be enough to get this fire to grow to be as large as the book had said that it would. He held the hand seal, being horse, as he was centering and focusing the chakra until finally he felt like he had enough chakra to fire off the inferno from his mouth. Ryuu opened his mouth and he forcefully exhaled. The fire came out and it was magnificent, the flames were bright red and orange, it was a beautiful fire. There was only one problem, it looked more like the Fire Stream, rather than a “Massive Wall of Fire” so Ryuu realized that he was not focusing nearly enough chakra into the technique if all he was producing was the small fire that he could have easily produced with the Fire Stream technique, and that was an E rank jutsu! Ryuu became annoyed, but not discouraged, as he tried it once again. Ryuu faced parallel to the fence and the mountain on the other side of the valley forty meters away, with the hole that he had left with his Dragon Fire Jutsu. Ryuu kept thinking about that jutsu and how, if he could produce that fairly large fireball, and the Flame Hurricane that was almost forty meters in diameter, why in the world could he not be able to produce this wall of fire? Ryuu was still facing the mountain on the other side of the valley during this train of thought, when Ryuu had finally snapped back into reality, Ryuu performed the hand seals for the Dragon Flame Jutsu instead, just so he could get used to the Fire, he realized that he must have needed to “warm up” his lungs. (Haha warm up!) When Ryuu was finished with the hand seal required, he focused his chakra into his lungs, and prepared himself for the jutsu, after only a second of focusing the chakra, he forcefully exhaled out of his mouth, and he saw the dragon’s head shaped fireball start to get farther from his position. Ryuu then had the dragon’s head shaped fireball perform a nose dive, directly down into the sand below at the bottom of the valley. Where he watched it as it exploded in a beautiful and bright inferno, he saw the flames rise, and then dissipate. Ryuu then felt like he was able to compress enough chakra to perform this jutsu, Ryuu then switched gears to performing the new jutsu at hand. Ryuu already began feeling very exhausted from the training that he had performed thus far. Ryuu then got into his fighting stance, stared out into the other end of the valley, and he could just picture a huge explosion of fire, a gorgeous picture of fire that he had never seen in his life as of yet. Ryuu performed the Horse Hand Seal, compressed the chakra more and more and more until he felt that he had four times as much as he had for the dragon flame jutsu, and he released it. Forcefully exhaling the fire from his lungs into the open air in front of him. Ryuu could feel the chakra coming up from his lungs, into his throat and out of his mouth, as he applied his natural composition to the chakra, the fire came out. This time, the fire was much wider, much higher, and much, very much hotter. But as he saw the wall of fire begin to make its journey away from his position, he saw that the fire was nowhere near the dimensions that the book had said that it should be. So Ryuu knew that he needed to have more chakra gathered up and he needed to concentrate his chakra much more than what he was at this point in time. Ryuu tried again, he got into his stance once more, really beginning to feel the exhaustion taking its toll on his body, his lungs were quivering, his legs were wobbling, his head was pounding. He did not want to continue his training, the pain was beginning to be too much. But Ryuu was determined, he wanted to learn this jutsu and he wanted to master it, no matter the cost, no matter how painful it may have been or might be, Ryuu wanted to make sure that he was able to say that he knew an A rank jutsu, and that it was in his natural element. Ryuu got into his fighting stance, as best as he could, he performed the Horse hand seal, and he began to compress the chakra into his lungs, which felt like a thousand needles stabbing the lining in his lungs, he couldn’t take much more of this pain. Ryuu pushed through, continuing to compress the chakra and continue to overlap the chakra on top of itself. Ryuu could feel the sweat begin to form on his forehead, which then began to run down his face. What felt like he was being rained on, was actually just the sweat from his head. Ryuu began to sweat more and more because of the pain he was feeling. Ryuu wanted to make sure that this was going to be a success, so he felt as though he had more chakra ready for this jutsu, than he had expelled in all of this week’s training. Ryuu then yelled “Fire Style: Great Fire Annihilation!” Ryuu then opened his mouth, and began to exhale as hard as he could, forcing the chakra up, trying to make the massive wall of fire, like it spoke about in the book. What Ryuu saw was magnificent, it was more majestic that any other bit of fire he had ever seen before, the wall was not the size that it could be, but the fire that he had produced, was definitely worthy to be used in battle. The wall of fire stood at least ten meters high, and close to twenty meters in width. So although it was not the, “Massive Wall of Fire” that the book may have spoken about, but it was definitely was getting close. Ryuu wanted to try again, just one more time, because he knew that he was going to be able to do it this time. He just had it in his mind, that this is the time that it is going to happen, he was going to create a wall, bigger than the village gates this time. So Ryuu got into his fighting stance again, but just as he was readying himself to perform the hand seal, he felt the right side of his body give out on him, it felt as if he was being yanked into the ground by someone, but when he looked, he just saw his knee bending directly in, as if his knee had broken. Ryuu then rubbed his eyes and looked again, but he saw that he was just hallucinating from the exhaustion, and his knee had just bent forward, making him lose his balance. Ryuu struggled to stand back up, using the fence in front of him to use as leverage, trying to pull himself up from the ground. Ryuu, as quickly as he could, performed the hand seal and, while still slightly leaning on his left knee, rather than his right, the one that gave out, he began the same process of compressing the chakra into his core. This time instead of it feeling like needles stabbing him in the linings of his stomach. It felt more like scythes, cutting away at his entire torso. Ryuu’s eyes began to lose vision, he then was not able to see anything, but he continued to compress his chakra, he compressed and compressed, but then he lost all the feeling in his right leg, he felt his body go down to the ground, but only to his knees, he could not see, but he knew that he was still facing the right direction, he continued to compress and focus the chakra until he lost his feeling in his left shoulder. Ryuu did not know whether or not his hand seal was still in place. Ryuu then began to completely fade out. Ryuu woke up, in the same spot as he passed out. The sun was shining right in his eyes, he tried opening them, but the brightness was far too much. Ryuu covered his eyes, and slowly began moving until he was by his pack, he covered his eyes with it, slowly sat up and allowed his eyes to slowly adjust to the brightness. When Ryuu’s eyes finally allowed himself to see, he began looking at the other side of the valley, and he saw in the mountain, singe marks. It looked as if someone had started a fire and it spread out on the sand and rock. It looks as if the initial fire was fifty meters in diameter, and almost twenty meters in height. Ryuu was not sure if it was him, or it someone came in and did that whilst he was sleeping. Ryuu jumped up, still feeling the pain that he had been feeling yesterday. But it was at a bearable state. Ryuu got into his fighting stance, Ryuu narrowed his eyes at the mountain across the way from the valley. Ryuu performed the Horse hand seal, and immediately began compressing the chakra, this time he put all he had into it. The chakra began to become stronger and stronger and after only a second, Ryuu opened his mouth and forced the chakra out of his mouth and when he applied his natural composition of fire upon the chakra, he saw a cloud of fire, this cloud then exploded into a giant wall, easily fifty meters wide and twenty meters tall, the wall began to go away from his position and look as if he had summoned an army of fire, quickly running into battle. Ryuu felt so accomplished, he had just learned his first A rank jutsu, and it was another ninjutsu that was under the Katon category. This was a ninjutsu that he was excited to have in his repertoire for whenever he was going into battle.
Ryuu decided to call it a day and head home, as he was grabbing his things, he began thinking “Why should I stop here?” Ryuu then decided that tomorrow it was time for him to learn yet another jutsu, and this time, he already knew that it was going to be another fire jutsu, definitely going to be Ninjutsu, but it wasn’t going to be as high on the rankings. Ryuu decided to wait till tomorrow until he made a big deal out of tomorrow’s training until tomorrow, for now, Ryuu needed his sleep. Ryuu finished packing his things up, but before he could leave, he needed to seal all of his tools back into his scroll. Ryuu grabbed his blank sealing scroll, unrolled it, grabbed his five kunai knives, and his five ninja stars. He began sealing them all into the scroll. Once he was done with that, he then struggled to get back up onto his two feet, once again using the fence as leverage to make it easier on him to get up. Ryuu felt so much pain, more pain than he had felt in the entire time that he had been out of the academy. “All of this back to back training is killing me, but I have learned so much, it makes me not want to stop.” Ryuu began hobbling out of the Training Grounds, when he began thinking about Ramen, Ryuu could determine whether he wanted any or not. As Ryuu got closer to the restaurant, he realized that after blowing fire for the past two days, something hot was not going to make him very happy. But something cold might. Ryuu continued down the road and got himself a glass of water from one of the merchants. After he had his drink he began heading home, as fast as he could, which was depressingly slow. Ryuu finally reached his home, and he limped all the way into his bathroom, where he stripped down, which pained him every single time he moved his body. After Ryuu had gotten all of his clothes off, he climbed into the shower, and he turned the water on as hot as he could, he was trying to loosen up all of his muscles, knowing that they had been through quite a bit the last couple of days. But he was hoping that Ryuu was going to be able to take this level of training and it not affect him this bad, hopefully that day will come, is what he thought. Ryuu finished his shower, slowly and cautiously dried off, trying to go easy on the spots that were extra tender on his body. Ryuu then put his pajamas on and slowly climbed into his bed, he lied flat on his back, pulled his blanket up to his chin, and just lied there. It was actually the middle of the day so that was going to be hard to fall asleep, but Ryuu was far too exhausted and in far too much pain to even think of doing anything else for the day. Ryuu slowly felt his eyes get heavier and heavier, until finally, he had drifted off into sleep.
Ryuu woke up the next day, full of energy, but still in far too much pain to do a whole hell of a lot. Ryuu wanted to get up but he honestly just couldn’t. He lied there, staring up into the sky, and decided that he was going to take it easy today. Ryuu swung his right foot, and then his left foot, then he used his legs to counterbalance his body’s weight. Once Ryuu was sitting up in his bed, he was able to slowly stand up and walk toward the bathroom, he got into the shower and brushed his teeth, he then walked over to his dresser, where he got himself another set of clothes. Once he was dressed, which took him forever, he headed toward the kitchen for something quick to eat, before he headed into town. Ryuu slowly ate his breakfast, and he began to think about what jutsu that he wanted to master today. Ryuu contemplated it as he finished his Ramen. When he was finished, he disposed of his trash and then began heading for the door. Before he left, he remembered that he had left his pack on the table in the living room, Ryuu went back into the living room and grabbed his pack, as he was leaving for the door one more time, he began feeling the pain growing worse in his side, Ryuu began thinking on whether or not leaving to train today was going to be a good idea. Ryuu then shrugged his worries off and went on his way into town. Ryuu wobbled all the way to the bookstore, where he was going to go and return the Great Fire Annihilation book, and then go find a new book that he was going to read and learn his next fire jutsu to be under his belt. Ryuu arrived at the bookstore, walked up to the lady at the counter, handed her the book that he had checked out, he then decided to go back into the area that housed all of the fire techniques. When he had gotten to the fire ninjutsu books, Ryuu began looking for the right one for him that day. Ryuu looked and looked until finally he found one that he had actually heard a lot about in his academy days. It was a fire ninjutsu that was only a C-rank jutsu, the jutsu was “Katon (Fire release): Hosenka no Jutsu (Phoenix Fire). Ryuu felt like this jutsu wasn’t going to be much of a hassle for him, and it might actually be a good cool down from the high ranking jutsus that he had been learning. Ryuu grabbed the book from the shelf and began to read to get a general idea of the finer points of the jutsu. Ryuu began reading, he was intrigued at how many hand seals there actually were for this technique. The higher ranking jutsus that he had been learning only required one seal. But this lower ranking jutsu actually required more, which was interesting to Ryuu. He also realized the difference in the range, speed, and power. But he also noticed that these techniques were not going to take nearly as much out of him as the others would, which is why Ryuu felt like this would be the perfect technique for him in this physical state, of being injured and in pain. Ryuu decided upon this jutsu being his next, he grabbed the book, and headed up to the lady behind the front counter. He checked out the book, and then he headed out into the village, and headed straight for the Training Grounds. Ryuu Hyuuga reached the training grounds, and he went back to the same spot as every day. He looked at the damage he had done to the mountain across the way of the valley, and he felt a great deal of pride, knowing that he was able to do that, able to perform such jutsus at such a young age. Ryuu sat down on the ground, and set his pack down, leaning on the fence, he decided that he was not going to grab his kunai knives or his ninja stars, for he was not going to need them. Ryuu then stood back up, got back on both feet, and he began his warm up. Ryuu knew that he was going to have to keep his warm up light, for if he pushed himself at all to hard, it was going to spell out a non effective training day, due to him being far too exhausted to even start his training. Ryuu lightly jogged around the training grounds, he then grabbed the book and began reading which hand seals he needed to perform to conduct the Phoenix Flower Jutsu. Ryuu read them, and after he was done reading he began to perform them, one by one. As Ryuu was performing the hand seals, he began saying the names aloud, “Rat, Tiger, Dog, Ox, Rabbit, Tiger.” Ryuu then stopped, he reset his stance and readied himself to go for real. Ryuu put a slight bend in his knees, he narrowed his eyes, and mentally prepared himself for the pain that was about to follow the compressing of the chakra. Ryuu began performing the hand seals one more time. Saying them aloud as he went, “Rat, Tiger, Dog, Ox, Rabbit, Tiger” Once he was finished with the hand seals, he then compressed his chakra and he yelled “Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!” Ryuu then shot the chakra up from his lungs, in through his throat, and out from his mouth in a short, choppy manner, making it instead of one long line of fire, six small fireballs. Measuring at about a foot radius, or two foot diameter. Ryuu saw the fireballs fly, soaring through the sky, but then he forgot that he was able to actually manipulate the trajectory of which the fireballs fly through. Ryuu quickly reset himself, this time, he was going to make sure that he remembered that he could manipulate them, that is going to make them key in battle, for sure! Ryuu performed the hand seals once more, “Rat, Tiger, Dog, Ox, Rabbit, Tiger! Ryuu yelled as he performed the said hand seals. Once more, when Ryuu was finished with the hand seals, he then yelled “Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu!” Ryuu then did the same as he did before, he had the chakra come from his lungs, up through his throat, and out of his mouth in short, choppy, breaths. Forming the small fireballs, but when they began their trajectory, Ryuu began his manipulation of the fireballs, he tried doing with the fireballs the same as he did with the Dragon Head Shaped fireball, and have it got straight up and then back towards his position. Ryuu then quickly realized that the most that these fireballs would be able to turn would be a Ninety degree turn, but no more. Ryuu then moved the fireballs around for a short while, until he was able to get used to it, once Ryuu felt like he had nailed this technique, he realized shortly thereafter, he needed a few days to recuperate before he even thought of training a new jutsu, his body was on the verge of breaking down, and if that happened, he would not be training any time soon, and that was a fact. Ryuu then decided that it was time for him to go home, and give his body a much needed rest, knowing that he just learned another jutsu.

4. Wind Element Training
Ryuu had finally given himself a well deserved break, he had been in the training grounds every single day for the past two weeks, ever since he had the run in with Salzem and with that strange man that was carrying that jar of dirt. Ryuu lied in bed for almost a full day, he just could not bring himself to actually train, Ryuu’s body was ailing him in every way imaginable, physical was the least of his worries, his brain was on information overload. Ryuu could not stand to be awake, for everything he did, hurt him. Ryuu thought, “Why do I do this to myself?” Ryuu continued to stare at the ceiling for a couple of hours until he began to feel unbearingly hungry. Ryuu struggled to swing his left leg, and struggled even more trying to swing his right leg. Ryuu had to use the end table, that sat directly next to his bed on the right side, to get up from the bed. Ryuu was sitting up on the side of his bed, with his feet on the floor. Ryuu put all of his might, and the end table, into lifting his body off of the bed. Once Ryuu was on his feet, standing painfully on the ground, Ryuu began to walk toward the kitchen for something to eat. Each step for Ryuu was tiresome, every time his foot touched the floor, massive surges of pain ran up his leg, through his spine, and into his brain. Ryuu was not sure how much more of the pain he was going to be able to take. Ryuu got closer and closer to the kitchen, but each step began to hurt worse and worse. Ryuu finally made it to the pantry, where he grabbed a box of the instant ramen. Ryuu slowly and gradually moved the ramen to the microwave that was sitting on the top of his counter. Ryuu waited for the ramen to be done cooking, he was holding for dear life onto the counter to keep him standing up. Ryuu then grabbed the ramen when it was done eating, he then went to one of the drawers that was in his kitchen, grabbed a set of chopsticks, and headed back into his bedroom to lie down for a while longer. Ryuu left his kitchen and reached his bedroom, his bed was getting closer to him, when he finally reached his bed, he slowly turned around and allowed his body to fall onto his bed. Ryuu then, after he continued to think about his training the passed few days. Ryuu realized that if he was to actually fight someone and hope to actually win, he was going to be a completely one dimensional opponent, all he had was fire, and a little gentle fist. But he had no real complexity in his line up of techniques and / or jutsus. Ryuu tried thinking about what he could do to combat this, but alas, Ryuu couldn’t think of what he was going to be able to do to actually remedy this situation, so he eased his mind as much as he possibly could, and tried to fall asleep. Ryuu drifted off to sleep after hours of him staring at the ceiling, but when he finally did fall asleep, he fell into a deep sleep, where he had a dream. This dream was of a boy, this boy had an interesting technique, the boy had used the Fire Technique: Great Fire Annihilation, but as the fire was moving, he performed another technique, this technique was unlike any that he had ever seen before. The boy then created an orb, which looked to be created completely out of chakra, it also had swirling, blade type structures that were embellished on the sides, four blades surrounded this orb, the technique looks almost like a ninja star, but a lot thicker and exponentially larger. The boy then threw this ninja star, or shuriken, shaped object directly at the wall of fire, that was made by the Great Fire Annihilation technique. The Chakra Shuriken got closer and closer to the flames, until finally the chakra shuriken reached the wall of fire, and once this happened, Ryuu saw that wall of flame get sucked into that chakra shuriken and grow exponentially larger as well! The wall increased in size, both in height and width, Ryuu was astounded at how much hotter the flames got as well. Ryuu became enthralled with excitement when he saw the magnitude of the technique, he woke himself up from his slumber. Ryuu looked at the clock next to his bed on his nightstand, this is when he realized that he had been sleeping for two days in all, Ryuu realized that he needed to get his body moving again, for by this time, the lactic acid had been built up far too much in his body and if he didn’t get his body back into the groove of training, he was going to have a much harder time getting his body used to moving like he has to for his training, or for any shinobi purposes. Ryuu swung his right leg off the bed, slowly followed by the left leg, Ryuu then stood up from his bed, this time, without using the nightstand. Ryuu then walked semi normally to the shower, hopped in, and began to keep up with his personal hygiene, by showering and brushing his teeth, Ryuu then walked into the kitchen to grab himself something to eat again. This time, just like the last, it was instant ramen. Ryuu grabbed the pouch and began cooking it in the microwave. Once it was done cooking, Ryuu sat down in the kitchen and began eating his meal. While Ryuu was eating, he was trying to think what exactly was that child doing in his dream, it was amazing and dumbfounding that there was a jutsu that could enhance the A rank jutsu to be even stronger than before! Ryuu knew that he needed that kind of power, but he just had no clue how to get such a power. Ryuu tried to think and think of what in the world could make the fire so much hotter, and not only that, but to make the fire bigger and thicker? Ryuu continued to think and he came up with a new answer every time he asked himself that, when thinking about a jutsu doing such a thing as making the great annihilation even larger, he just figured that it was the same technique, just with more focused chakra, then the two techniques just overlapped and strengthened each other. But then Ryuu began to think, as he took another bite of his ramen, “What in the world was that technique?” Ryuu thought to himself as he remembered seeing what looked like a giant ninja star, created solely out of chakra, which is what he saw do the actual enhancement of the Great Fire Annihilation. Ryuu knew that he needed to learn that technique, because that was going to be a technique that would not only make him a stronger Shinobi, but it would also make him a two dimensional fighter, he would no longer just have the power of fire, but he would also be able to make the fire stronger, hotter, and much larger, now all Ryuu had to do was learn whatever was done to make that jutsu so much more powerful. Ryuu then began thinking about Fire in general “What makes Fire larger?” Ryuu asked himself as he was thinking as hard as he could, Ryuu couldn’t think about what does it. So Ryuu decided to shrug it off for now, and ready his things for the day of training that he had ahead of himself. Ryuu went back into his bedroom, he grabbed his pack, put on some of his training attire, walked back through the living room, and headed toward the front door. Before he left, he opened his pack to ensure that he had all of his things for his training, mainly his sealing scroll, he found it, and then he was on his way out the door, and headed straight into the village. Ryuu was headed toward the book store, he wanted to go see if he was able to find a book or any kind of information that he may have been looking for. The question that he had were in a large number, but his main question that he needed answered was, “What makes fire stronger?” Ryuu continued to contemplate as he continued to get further into town, and continued to get closer to the bookstore. While he was walking, Ryuu noticed something in the front sand patch of another house that was down the street from his own. Ryuu saw a child playing with fire. The child had started a fire, but in a small hole in the ground, but the flames were high enough so that ryuu could see them. Ryuu began to watch the child as he continued to play with the fire, “What is this kid up to?” Ryuu asked himself. Ryuu noticed that the fire was beginning to die out, and child was trying to keep the flames going as long as he could, but what he did to do this is what triggered the light bulb to go off in his head. The child began to blow on the fire with his mouth. This is when Ryuu realized what makes fire stronger, hotter, and the flames burn bigger, it was wind! Ryuu quickly began thinking of every time he had ever had a fire going, and he had blown on it to keep it going and he felt completely stupid for not thinking of it sooner. Ryuu began to remember his dream from the night before, based on what he had saw in the dream, and based on what he just realized, the technique that he had seen in his dream had to have been a wind technique! Ryuu began thinking about how he would be able to use this knowledge in his life as a shinobi, and how he was going to be able to use this knowledge, and apply it to his jutsu, making them stronger, and more effective. Ryuu then decided that if he was going to even begin to learn how to do these things, he was first going to need to go to the bookstore, that is the place that he was going to be able to begin his quest for knowledge in this field of information. Ryuu’s first question was how on Earth was he going to be able to use wind to burst his jutsus up to a brand new level? Ryuu arrived at the Bookstore, full of questions, and he was ready to find some answers.Ryuu walked into the bookstore and walked up to the lady behind the counter, Ryuu asked her where all of the books were in the bookstore that were on the skills of a shinobi. Ryuu remembered in school his sensei teaching the class something about elements, but for the life of him, he could not remember what it was, Ryuu listened to the lady behind the counter’s instruction, followed them, and he found a couple books on the elements and the shinobi. Ryuu began reading the first book he saw. The book that he grabbed was named “A shinobi of different elements” Ryuu read and read until he was able to get the gist of what the book was talking about, he soon came to a conclusion on the book, Shinobi’s can use anywhere between one and three different basic elements in their techniques. The five elements are Fire, Wind, Water, Earth, and Lightning, all with their own strengths and weaknesses. Ryuu knew that his first element was fire, but he wanted to make sure that he could keep his opponent guessing on what he was going to do next in battle, so Ryuu continued to read the book. The book said that one can learn a second technique, and that it was actually possible to learn all five basic techniques, but due to the vast amount of training that doing this requires, it is extremely rare and difficult to do by natural means. Ryuu knew that it was possible to learn a second element, but it is much difficult than learning the one that you are born with. Ryuu grabbed another book, and this book was entitled “Wind Element”. Ryuu opened the book and began reading what exactly this wind element was and how he was going to go about learning it, practicing it, and above all, mastering it. The book read that the beginning of this element was going to be similar to what he did when he began training his fire element. Ryuu was to grab a leaf, just as before, and place it on his hand, just as before, and focus his chakra onto the leaf, just as before. But the difference between this time and the last, is the fact that he needed to instead of burn the leaf, his goal was to slice the leaf in half, with only his chakra. Ryuu kept the book and decided that he was going to bring this book with him to the training grounds for beginning of his mastery of the wind element. Ryuu took the book to the lady behind the front counter and told the lady that he was going to be checking this book out. The lady smiled, grabbed the book, stamped the inside front cover, and handed the book back to Ryuu. Ryuu thanked the lady, left the store, and headed through the town, heading toward the Training Grounds to begin his day’s training.
As Ryuu was walking through the town, he began to think of all the great things that he could do to collaborate his fire technique with his newfound wind technique. “The wind, added to the fire, it's just going to be amazing!” Ryuu became more and more excited as he continued to think of all of the things that were going to come out of him learning the new wind techniques. Ryuu walked through the village and remembered something that would have been a pretty bad mistake to make when it he finally made it to the training grounds. Ryuu grabbed his pack off of his back. Ryuu looked through the pack and he quickly realized that he had no more leaves, from all of the times that he had practiced with his fire, now it was time for to practice with his wind. Ryuu went over by the Kazekage building, where there were the only few trees that were in the entire village, he grabbed a handful of leaves, put them in his pack, and he continued his journey toward the Training Grounds. As he was walking, Ryuu grabbed one of the books from his pack, the book dedicated to the wind element, and continued to read it. Ryuu wanted to make sure he knew as much as he could before he actually began his training of his new element. As he read the book, he learned that the wind element was the greatest element for mid range to close range, or hand to hand, combat out of all of the elements, this made Ryuu excited because he knew that that was the most popular range of battle, so he knew that Wind was going to be an excellent addition to his short list of abilities and techniques. Ryuu continued to read, he read that the wind element’s most important part to understand is that when you are trying to make your wind chakra, you need to make sure that your chakra is as sharp and as thin as possible, that is how the wind chakra was going to be most effective, if you cannot understand or master this piece of the wind element, it will be utterly ineffective, and all around useless. Ryuu also learned that the wind element is very weak when it comes to fighting against the basic element Fire, but it was strong when it was fighting the lightning basic element. Ryuu was excited with the knowledge that he was learning, and he was even more excited, and yet still just a bit nervous at the challenge that he was going to be facing, learning a new element that he was not born with. It will be difficult, but Ryuu was convinced that he was going to master it, no matter what it took, this was going to be his new element. Ryuu finally arrived at the training grounds, and he was ready.
Ryuu first went to an open spot of the training grounds, where he sat down, set his pack directly in front of him, and he began releasing all of his five kunai knives, and all of his five ninja stars, shuriken. Once Ryuu was finished with that, he then began his warm up. Ryuu activated his Byakguan, he began jogging around the training grounds, feeling the stiffness in every single part of his body, in his ankles, his legs, every single joint in his body were still in an abundance of pain. But Ryuu could not give up this early, he just needed to work through it and he knew that the pain was going to wear off. Ryuu finished his jogging, and he then grabbed one of the leaves from his pack. Ryuu put the leaf on his left hand, just like he had every other time. Ryuu tried to focus on his hand, but instead of trying to make the leaf burn, he wanted to make his chakra thinner and thinner and sharper and sharper, to try and actually cut the leaf in half. Ryuu concentrated and concentrated, until finally he felt the leaf become lighter in his hands, he looked at the leaf and all he could see, was ash. Ryuu knew that this was going to be a problem, he needed to differentiate his wind and his fire nature transformation. Ryuu tried this again, he grabbed another leaf, put it in his hand, and tried to imagine the leaf cutting directly in half, not ash, but just cut in half. Ryuu concentrated on his hand, and tried to make his chakra clash against each other, becoming sharper and thinner, but then he began to watched the leaf do the same thing as before, the leaf began to burn in his palm once more. Ryuu was confused as to why this happened. Ryuu grabbed the leaf again, but this time, because his arm was getting tired of holding it at a perfect ninety degrees, he switched to his left hand. Ryuu had not used his right hand before, mainly due to the fact that he was a left hand oriented person. He placed the leaf in the middle of his palm, he began concentrating again, focusing on making his chakra sharp as steel, as sharp as the kunai that he held in his pouch. He focused and focused, he continued to think about the leaf cutting directly in half. Ryuu concentrated on the leaf, pictured in his head, as he closed his eyes, picturing the leaf cutting right in half, down the middle. Ryuu focused his chakra more and more, until he opened his eyes, and he saw the leaf, right there in the middle of his palm, still completely intact. Ryuu felt like this was an improvement because it had not burned, just sat there in his hand. Ryuu tried again, and again, and again. Ryuu felt just like when he had first began trying to learn to control his chakra for his fire transformation. Ryuu smiled as he reminisced on those days of him standing in the training grounds, trying to focus harder and harder, only to watch the leaf stay right there in the middle of his palm, just sitting there. Almost like it was staring back at him. Ryuu then remembered exactly where he had gone when he finally learned to control his chakra. “The Ramen Shop!” Ryuu then realized what he must do, he had to go back to the place that he first understood controlling chakra, even though he remembered the lesson that he had learned, he still wanted to watch the processes to inspire him once more, and he really wanted to eat some ramen. Ryuu grabbed his things, and headed off to the ramen shop for some inspiration. Ryuu walked through the village until he arrived at the ramen shop, he walked into the shop, greeted everyone in the restaurant, sat down, and asked for his usual order. The waiter of course knew what he was talking about, and the chef immediately began cooking his ramen. Ryuu watched intently as the chef began making his order, he watched how everything was exactly the same, just like last time, nothing had changed, nothing was going to change, the processes were always going to be the same. Just like with Ryuu controlling the wind chakra, Ryuu’s biggest problem was focusing the chakra AND applying the new nature transformation on top of that. Ryuu then thought of something, Ryuu thought that, if he only had to do one thing at a time, the technique would probably be a whole lot easier, he could just use a shadow clone! “This way, I only have to focus on focusing the chakra to the certain part, while the shadow clone could work on applying the natural transformation to the chakra!” Ryuu thought to himself frantically, but then Ryuu realized that if he had to rely on a shadow clone, that would be showing a point of weakness, Ryuu was just going to force himself to learn to do it all on his own with no help. Ryuu ate his ramen and headed straight back to the training grounds. Ryuu arrived at the training grounds, committed to making sure this time, he was going to get it right! Ryuu grabbed another leaf from his pack, set the leaf onto the middle of his right hand, directly in the middle of the palm, he got into his fighting stance, kept his eyes wide open, staring down that leaf, as if telling it with his eyes that it was going to be cut in half, no matter what! Ryuu felt his chakra channeling down his right arm, into his right hand, and focusing on the leaf that lied there. Ryuu felt the power directly in his right hand. He wanted the leaf to just give in and be cut in half, he just wanted this one thing. Ryuu began to feel his body’s pain begin to cross the line to unbearable, so he wanted to push it just a little bit more. Ryuu began applying the wind’s natural transformation with every bit of energy that he had left. Ryuu pushed and pushed until he began to black out, the vision came back and forth, but he kept pushing and pushing. Ryuu then lost the feeling in his right leg, just like before. Ryuu used all the energy he had left into applying the wind nature transformation, but finally, he lost feeling in both his legs, his vision went to black, and he fell into the unconscious. Ryuu woke up and saw the sun beginning to set, Ryuu then began frantically looking for the leaf, but all he could find was a half of a leaf. Ryuu realized that he must have done it, he actually cut the leaf in half with only his chakra. Ryuu then grabbed another leaf, although his body was still nowhere close to being ready to train like before, he just wanted to make sure to himself that he was able to do it. Ryuu put the leaf in his palm on his right hand, he focused his chakra, just as he did before he blacked out, and he began applying his wind natural transformation onto his chakra that was focusing on his right hand, directly to the leaf. He watched the leaf intently, waiting for it to give in. Ryuu channeled his chakra into hand more and more by the minute, until finally he saw it happening, he saw as the leaf began to cut, it started with a small slit on the tip of the leaf, then it slowly began going farther and farther down to the very base of the stem. He then stopped focusing his chakra into his hand as he watched the two leaf halves fly away in the wind. Ryuu was so overjoyed, but so overworked to jump for joy, but Ryuu knew it. Ryuu had actually used a second element, and soon he will be able to master it as well. Ryuu knew that his body was not going to take much more, so Ryuu then headed back home to take a much needed, and much deserved, rest in his own bed, and not on the training grounds floor. Ryuu got into his room, laid down on his bed, and he began visualizing his dream that he had, but this time instead of some boy, it was himself, with this visual in his mind, he quietly fell asleep.
Ryuu woke up the next day and he decided that a leaf was not going to be enough. Ryuu decided that he was going to go back to the training grounds, but instead of a leaf, he was going to slice a pile of sand directly in half. Ryuu got out of his bed, feeling better than he had in weeks. Ryuu then grabbed all of his things, he ran to the training grounds. Ryuu grabbed one of his leaves, he wanted to warm up his wind element, before he began upgrading the strength of it. Ryuu got into his pack, grabbed a leaf, and set it on his right palm. Ryuu focused the chakra onto his right hand, and applied the wind transformation, Ryuu watched as once again, the leaf split into two. Ryuu then knew that he was ready to jump it up one more notch, and grab himself a pile of sand and go from knowing how to use the wind element, to nailing it! Ryuu grabbed a pile of sand in his right hand, he began to focus the chakra. Ryuu knew that this medium was going to be much more difficult than the mere leaf, but he was excited to nail it no matter what! Ryuu began to focus his chakra, compressing it and making it stronger and stronger, while also making it thinner and sharper. Ryuu pushed and pushed, he applied the wind transformation as much as he could, he did exactly what he did with the leaf, “Same Processes, same results!” Ryuu yelled as he focused harder until he could not focus any harder, he channeled as much chakra as he could into his right palm, praying that the pile of sand would cut in half. Ryuu clenched his eyes shut, trying to block out the pain that he was feeling in his sides from the exhaustion, Ryuu felt the sand being shoved off the sides of his hands, he focused more and more, and when he opened his eyes, the only thing he saw was two, completely separate piles of sand, set right in his right hand. Ryuu had done it, and now he felt like he had the had the know how to begin his training in the wind release techniques and jutsu.
