Re: Learning the Art of Making Leaders (Koroshi/Ryu)

“Well, if its just the people I care about then I need to get stronger for the whole village.” He would stand taking a piece of paper from his pocket. Of course, it wasn’t the usual paper but one used to identify the chakra nature of an individual. Forcing a little energy into the paper it would ignite, before being put out. Then adding wind chakra to the paper it began to split as if cut. Then, fusing it with fire the paper would shrivel as the water inside disappeared. “I heard that strong ninja can use three of the basic elements in their bodies. As a Goka I was born to have fire and wind nature, I wonder what the third will be.” Mystery for another day. The paper would crumble into dirt as he placed the slip back into his pocket, of course he wouldn’t notice with all of the sand inside his pockets.
Ryu would nod as Koroshi heard out his borrowed idea and even said he had thought of the idea himself. Maybe, making it easier for the beast to adjust would give them a reason to not attack the village. It is also good to learn from lord Koroshi about the beasts before receiving one. It prepares both sides for what is to come and hopefully that creates a sense of peace between the bijuu and host.
“I might try to find your nephew’s teacher. She sounds interesting, I want to learn all I can about fuinjutsu. Might need to work on some ninjutsu too.” Making seals for the phoenix force jutsu he would stop, after finishing the final seal. “I saw these seals in a dream, with a bird made of fire. Maybe, I’ll see what I can do with it.”

Hearing Ryu speak about the people he cares about, stating that it is the whole village he would smile as it seems they share that ideal. He would go on to watch Ryu test his different elements on the chakra enhanced piece of paper, seeing it catch fire and then for some cuts to begin to form as if they were cut with a blade. Having not used one of these papers since he was very young in the academy, Koroshi cannot help but wonder what it would do now, knowing that he has all five of the basic elements as well as having wood release from the Senju clan. During his thoughts about the paper he hears Ryu speak about how strong ninja can use three different elements, thinking back to their spar Koroshi recalls him using his clan element which fused wind and fire together, so in a way he already has three, not wanting to burst his bubble Koroshi would simply nod. "Yes it does take a lot of strength, skill, and patience to be able to master three elements, in fact it shows skill in mastering two given that you are trying to change your chakra from not only its basic form but also trying to go down a different path that you were not born with. However, I am sure you will be able to do it no problem should you spend some time on it" Koroshi says his smile still on his face.
Hearing Ryu talk about how excited he is to meet his nephew's teacher, and how he wants to learn not only Fuinjutsu but also to refine his arts with ninjutsu Koroshi would nod "I look forward to seeing your progress, however before you meet her I suggest that you take the rest of the day to relax. You put in a lot of hard work today so you have earned yourself a good nights rest and a good meal"

“Thanks.” Ryu would say after Koroshi told him he looked forward to his progress and that he should take the rest of the day off to rest and eat. “Yeah, I guess I am pretty tired…” He would say as his stomach growled with his words. Hungry too, I guess.” The kid would pull a sand covered half eaten donut from his pocket and bite into it.
“Sorry, uncle Koroshi would you like to go get something to eat? Its on me.” His mother had told him eating in front of others was rude many times, but Ryu didn’t think through things when his life wasn’t on the line or his adrenaline wasn’t pumping.
He had completely forgot until this moment why he was even in the training grounds with the kazekage. He gulped some saliva before asking. “Do you think I am ready to be a chuunin?” He would then stand up, there was a yes or no to this question. Either he would be eating to celebrate or eating to get the energy to train more. One thing was for sure though… He would be eating.

After confirming with Koroshi, Ryu left the training grounds he would indeed be a chuunin of sunagakure. He was so excited he left the training grounds and ran towards his home. It was time to eat and relax and do a bunch of other stuff that chuunin did, like tell genin to do stuff that they don't want to do.

(I don't really see this thread ending now, so I posted. It was already confirmed previously I was a chuunin.)
