Re: Patrol (Sakaiza)

As Nobu had looked across the small distance towards Sakaiza as if he had said something shocking after mentioning that he was the looks of the team, Sakaiza looked back at him with an equally comically look. Almost as if Sakaiza was saying, “Have you seen you and Giichi? No offense but come on bruh, we both know I’m the cutest.”
Sakaiza slightly scoffed at the question of the ninja that he was extending his hand out to. Did he really not know what Sunaga was an abbreviation for? It obviously was not short for Sunagakure, it couldn’t be, for that would make too much sense. But Sakaiza cut him some slack, he did just crash into a sizeable sand dune at a decent pace. His brain must be all rattled up. Before Sakaiza could even have the chance to make a sarcastic remark to the shinobi, it seemed as if Nobu had already hopped on the job. Yep, him and Sakaiza were two peas in a pod.
After Sakaiza and Nobu helped the lad to his feet, he went on to identify himself. His name was Ichiro, Chef Ichiro to be exact. Judging by his name, he was a chef of Sunagakure, which made Sakaiza think. Now Sakaiza had eaten a lot in Suna, and by a lot I mean a lot. He’s tried just about every dish within the village, but he had yet to ever see Chef Ichiro. Well, with Sakaiza’s passion for eating, he grew a tad bit frustrated. How could he let himself miss out on an opportunity to try more delicacies?
When Chef Ichiro mentioned his culinary status, Sakaiza immediately chimed in.
“Ichiro…I must know…what kind of food do you make and where can we try some? See Nobu and I here, we like to eat.”
Sakaiza’s question seemed to be slightly dramatic, with well - timed pauses for the suspenseful effect. It was intended to be slightly jocular, but simultaneously serious. Sakaiza wanted to try his food and he knew Nobu might as well, given as the two had already dined on kabobs today. Perhaps the trio could do some intensive training and Ichiro might be well to whip up some dank for them at the end of the day.
Just as Sakaiza was beginning to hold high hopes for the three, something terrible happened. Something so treacherous and displeasing that Sakaiza even went as far as to shudder. He could not believe what had been piercing his ears. It was truly awful. It was…small talk. Were the two genin really at such a loss of words so that they had to resort to talking about…the weather? What about the genin that just clearly flew through the air and crashed into a nearby sand dune? What about the fact that his skin and eye color had just reverted to a different color? Awh man was Sakaiza disappointed.
He immediately cut off the weather conversation before it delved too deep right after Nobu’s comment. Not to mention the second culinary pun that Nobu had made today.
“Oh come onnnn guys, we’re not middle aged adults here! We’re young! We’re in our prime! There’s plenty of other things we could talk about then…then the weather!”
Sakaiza hated small talk. It was so pointless. Why waste time having a conversation with no meaning when they could have been talking about something with actual substance? And that’s when Nobu seemed to kick it in the right gear by mentioning Ichiro’s unusual ability. He went on to inquire about the boy. Asking about his ability, if he wanted to train and if he could take a hit. Sakaiza damn sure hoped that he could take a hit, because he was not afraid to give a training session his all. He let Nobu continue, for he seemed to be hitting on all the right topics so there was no need for Sakaiza to interrupt.
When asked if Sakaiza was fine with practicing Sakaiza nodded and let out, ”Come on Nobu, it’s me. You know I’m always down for training. Besides I’ve got a couple more things I wanted to learn today, maybe you guys could help me with it!”
When Sakaiza finished his statement, he immediately assumed that they would begin training. He leaped up and back, landing 5 meters away from Ichiro and Nobu. He was excited to conduct some intense training with the two, for it had been some time since he had been able to really dive in and test out his skills against worthy shinobi. Nobu and Ichiro, they were worthy shinobi. They were Sunagakure shinobi.
When he landed, he assumed his gentle fist stance called out to the pair.
“So…what’s on your agendas today, boys?”

Ichiro looked at Nobu oddly when he told him what Sunaga actually was. He restrained himself for literally saying “So there weren't any better names?” but instead he just shrugged it off. “Oh...a team, I see.” Now thinking about it, Ichiro wasn't even on a team! He met a few people here and there and even helped mostly academy students with training. The boy wasn't sure having a team was good or bad because lone wolf status is somewhat nice...then again he really wanted a team.
He thought of all the reasons on why a team was important such as friends, fun stuff, and have someone who could watch his back and cover his weaknesses. Before he got to deep in thought and conversation he had to remind himself of the hand seals for that jutsu called swamp of the underworld. He got it, didn't forget, and it was all still fresh in his head so moving onwards.
Then the saka guy questioned Ichiro’s cooking. Here. We. Go. “I COOK LOT’S OF THINGS FROM ASIAN TO HISPANIC HECK I STUDY ALL TYPES OF COOKING AND TRY TO COOK IT BUT SO FAR I'M GOOD FOR ASIAN AND FRENCH CUISINE!” Ichiro had to stop, calm down and clear his throat. “Ahem, What I mean is that I can cook a lot of things.” When cooking comes into play, Chi tends to get a little...okay maybe very excited.
But somehow it went from food to talking about the weather, which is the total go to cliche for a opening to a conversation and does it actually works. Ichiro listened to Nobu words carefully, very very carefully. If he had to say one thing about people who lived in Suna, it's they can take the heat. For Ichiro to hear what Nobu said about how hot he was gave Ichiro somewhat of an idea that this kid might not really be from suna at all…..since this was regular suna heat. “Oh, you're hot? You must not really be from here if the heat bothers you or you stay inside all the time where it's cool.” Was he going to keep pushing for an answer? Maybe anyway with Saka’s comment Chi found it was the time to not talk about the weather anymore.
Then this Nobu kid questioned the color of his skin claiming it to be a unique ability, in reality...it really wasn't. There's many pro's to having it but there's always that one con he'll never get over. Chi haven't found out a way to temporally have tantrums, which is now more frequently happening than before and sure they usually happen when he's cooking and he goes Gordon Ramsey on everyone's ass. Ichiro just nodded and shrug. “Uh, yeah sure. I'm done with this….uh training spar?” Sure he had to keep refreshing his mind about the hand seals but he'll probably be okay. This can actually be good for those Jounin exams. The last time he had actually really sparred was against a Jounin. Sure he sorta just became a Genin and it was a good idea to him at first but...he realized he was doing literally nothing. He wasn't even able to land a hit. So there were now to other people he had to fight and he just couldn't well...he wasn't sure how this will end up.
“I can take a hit, come on.” Yeah speaking of taking hits he was just reminded of s certain younger brother he needed to train. Apparently the fight was on as he watched Saka jump back five meters and took his stance. “Yeah...Hyuuga I gotta remember that.” Ichiro mumbled as he walked backwards five meters from Nobu. Right now Ichiro just had to make sure Saka doesn't get too close to him….because Hyuuga! Anyway Ichiro lost his edge of surprise as they will now be looking out for his skin turning grey and anything involving cannons.
Ichiro removed his hands from his pocket and looked back and forth between Nobu and Saka. “So how we're going to do this? Whoever gives up first...uh or we just fight until we just give up from tiredness?” He just needed an idea on what the fight was so he can formulate a plan around it. “Also I'm assuming jutsu is allowed but what about weapons and Summons?” He was just clearing things up so he could know what's legit or not.
In the end Ichiro would just have to be smart about this.

Nobu watches as the sparring training is about to commence. Leaping back to his own starting position, roughly five meters back, Nobu assumes a fighting stance placing his own hands in front and watching the other two. This Ichiro guy would still be a mystery, as Nobu knew very little about him and what he was capable of. Nevertheless, Sakaiza was also a target. How would the battle go down? Who would attack who? These were questions Nobu had wondered about, but would let the thoughts pass.
“You can use whatever you want to use. Weapons are fine by me, just try not to do any permanent damage and we should be fine. Summons too. No worries here. I enjoy the idea of the challenge.” Nobu looked to Sakaiza gave a nod to see if he was also on board, and shifted back to Ichiro.
“And one more thing. Sakaiza is right, if you cook food you will have to feed us afterwards. We’ll see just how good the cooking is!” Nobu smiles to the chef as he says this. He isn’t one to pass up the opportunity for good food, and if this was as much of a workout as the last spar they were sure to need the fuel afterwards.
Nobu then waits, making sure everybody was ready. He would hate to attack an ally when they had not been expecting it, so he just waits for the others to also assume positions and declare the start.

Sakaiza got excited, now knowing that Chef Ichiro was quite the versatile chef. However, the only thing about his statement that bothered Sakaiza was that he never mentioned anything about being a good chef. Sure he could make plenty of types of food, but that didn’t necessarily mean that he could cook them well. There would have to be tasting test. It was the only option. Sakaiza knew it. Ichiro knew it. And Nobu knew it, who openly volunteered Ichiro to cook everyone a meal after the spar was over. Sakaiza smiled to himself lightly, his teammate Nobu was completely in tune with him; both wanting to eat almost at all times.
But Sakaiza could not focus on this, instead he had more important things to cater to at this very moment. One of the first, and second, of which would be the two shinobi who opposed him on the training grounds. When Sakaiza had created distance between himself, his teammate and the newcomer it seemed as if the other two had done the same. Because of each ninja taking the time to move back roughly 5 meters, there was essentially an equilateral triangle created with each boy acting as a corner 10 meters away from each other. It was optimal distance for a ranged shinobi to be able to get in a couple of long to mid ranged jutsu in before a close combat opponent could seal the distance.
However, the spar had not commenced yet. Instead, it seemed as if Nobu and Ichiro were discussing some of the preliminary rules to the fight. But to be honest, there really shouldn’t be any rules. None of the three would get any stronger if the other two were holding back, so in order for each of them to gain experience and develop their ability, they would all have it give it their all. Nobu knew what Sakaiza was capable of, or at least he used to. Sakaiza had learned many jutsu and improved his physical ability since the last time the two had met on the training grounds. But the same could go for Sakaiza’s awareness of Nobu’s ability. He was sure that Nobu was faster than what he had been before, so he was also convinced that Nobu had to have improved his other abilities and jutsu besides just speed. This would be an interesting training spar to occur before the jounin exams, whoever being the victor would likely have an inflated ego. But now was not the time for egos.
Interjecting after Nobu’s comment, he let out, “Anything goes, whoever tires last is the winner” with a semi – smile upon his face.
Sakaiza was quite interested to see the progress his teammate had made, but he was even more interested in seeing the abilities of Chef Ichiro. Would a shinobi who prized himself on his culinary ability be able to cook up some good jutsu on the training grounds? Perhaps. But Sakaiza was unsure as of right now. The only thing he was sure of was that it was time to begin.
Now leaning the majority of his weight on his back foot, his stance shifted to the reactive one he had grown so accustomed to.
“Now, if there’s nothing else left to be said, shall we begin?”

”Yeah, I guess we can begin then” Ichiro said as he placed a hand on the hilt of his tanto which was attached to the left side of his belt. He hadn't the faintest of clue of how they would actually fight nor did he even know what they had up their sleeves. This was good, He had to fight someone without knowing their skill causing him to slightly smile. He could feel his heart starting to beat faster by the second as he was apparently going to take the first attack. The question was against who? There was Saka to his...right and Nobu to his left. (Assuming this is accurate)
Ichiro eyes shifted between the two and moved his hand away from the hilt of his tanto. It's always better of to start with something good. He cracked his knuckles as he thought and set his sights on Saka then back to Nobu who each have taken a stance. “Alright LET'S BEGIN THEN!” Assuming everyone was ready, he took his first move.
Ichiro had to play smart he needed to test each of their abilities. So not really deciding who to attack first he ran towards the middle of their triangle at half his speed, while he ran he quickly made the hand seal for Earth Release: Rock Pillar spears which was bird. He stopped for that brief moment to place his hand on the ground as he faced Saka and created six pillars in just right in front of him. This was hopefully meant to stall the guy as Ichiro drew his tanto and rushed towards the center, Now he waited. Why go towards one of them when the other can come from behind? Is what he thought. With this The Chef assumed they both would have to run towards him which let's him not have to worry about a sneak attack or maybe not. He didn't know their skills and he was sure they didn't know his so he was taking slight caution with his moments at the moment….especially being the first one to do something.
Was he really even slightly satisfied as his first move? Not really all he did was try to slow one of them down and waited at the center still five meters between the two.

Nobu watches as the man known as Chef Iciro slowly moves forwards while simultaneously rapidly forming handseals for a jutsu. This was one skill Nobu never really ‘got down’. The forming of handseals, both in their memorization and in the activity of forming them was key to the mastering of many jutsu. Most of those jutsu were of the Ninjutsu variety, and with his lack of aptitude for such things, he pushed most of the training off.
This particular moment though he had wished he knew more about ninjutsu though. Taijutsu was simpler, it seemed. No fancy tricks, no smoke and mirrors. Just you and your abilities. When Chef produced the stone pillars, Nobu quickly assessed that the Chef had likely focused on the Earth element, one of the five that make up the main arts of ninjutsu. Sadly, Nobu had no idea what kinds of things a practitioner of Earth style ninjutsu was capable of. He had a few ideas and worries, but no solid evidence or experience.
Chef Ichiro manages to do what looks to be the stalling of Sakaiza. What was his agenda though? Was it that he had considered Sakaiza the bigger threat? He had mentioned the Hyuuga clan earlier, taking note of it. Nobu had no clan to inspire worry in his enemies, no reputation proceeding him. Was this a sly way to insult young Nobu? Or was it posed more as a challenge? Maybe he had wanted to combat Nobu first. Nobu couldn’t be sure of what any agenda the man had, if any. Nobu could just be overthinking things. Well, if there was one good thing about not having a clan, it was that his enemies might therefore underestimate him.
Shifting his weight, Nobu would spring forth and attack. Using the technique that he had just taught to Sakaiza, he intended on putting the Dynamic Entry to good use. With only a single light hop Nobu generates the force needed to propel himself through the air (Speed 100+10+Jutsu scaling=120, Power 75 [55+10+Scaling; Nonlethal attack]) and send a jump kick crashing down towards Ichiro, aiming squarely for his torso. More accurately, he was aiming for just below the chest and right above the abdomen. A solid hit here can result in the opponent’s diaphragm to begin to spasm, or in other words it can ‘knock the wind’ out of a target. It was also a great deal painful, and so Nobu would begin with this.
All the while he had done this he watched the blade of the Chef, his tanto. Nobu had no intentions of leaving the training grounds a filleted mess, and so he would mentally prepare for an attack from the weapon. Meanwhile, what would Sakaiza do about the pillars. If he decides to destroy them, they will cause much noise. Despite Nobu not currently giving the Hyuuga his full attention, any noise of that magnitude would gain the young shinobi Nobu’s full concern. If he would instead go around, it would likely take longer and so Nobu would have more time before a potentially painful attack from his flank.

(I'm assuming these 6 pillars are just creating a "wall" to shield you from Sakaiza. Also, the sizes of these spears weren't really specified so I'm just going to go off an assumption that each is a foot in diameter, so a 6 foot wall horizontally)
Well now it looked like the time for the spar to begin. And to start it all off, Sakaiza activated his byakugan.
It seemed as if Sakaiza was being blocked out of the battle as Ichiro was beginning to summon a set of pillars which would block Sakaiza off from directly approaching him. Simultaneously, Nobu seemed to be rushing Ichiro as he created the barrier between himself and Nobu. Perhaps he thought as if this were going to be two teammates versus the non affiliated one, but that was not the case. Sakaiza was sure that Nobu wanted to dish out some blows to Sakaiza just as much as Ichiro did. The last spar they had was quite some time ago, so he was sure that his comrade wanted to pit himself against the Hyuuga again.
As the pillars sprung up from the ground and, Sakaiza rushed toward them to cut off some distance, but he only did so after his line of vision between Ichiro and Nobu was gone. As soon as he was hidden behind the pillars, he began running(40 speed). While he did so, he monitored the power of his steps so that they were taken lightly and thus very quietly. It would be difficult for Nobu or Ichiro to hear them from the sound of the pillars still rising. The way the pillars were oriented, Sakaiza's body would be hidden from Nobu and Ichiro's direct line of site, but through Sakaiza's dojutsu he could see the two clearly. Nobu was lunging in for a dynamic entry, and Sakaiza could only pick up on this because his comrade had just taught him. With Sakaiza shielded by Ichiro's jutsu and Nobu lunging for an attack on Ichiro, it would give Sakaiza a decent opportunity to capitalize.
However, at the start of his run he had conducted two, quick hand seals, the boar then rat. As a result, when the pillars finished rising, 10 clones of Sakaiza were seemingly born from the pillars and approached Ichiro and Nobu in a slow fashion(mist servant genjutsu has 60 power). Sakaiza, who was controlling these clones had directed them to simply create distance between themselves while still approaching(10 speed) Nobu and Ichiro who were now engaged in one on one combat. When the clones were approaching the two, Sakaiza had was nearing the pillars(1 meter away). Now he quickly rotated his body while expelling chakra in a controlled state. Thus, a small sphere of rotational chakra was formed that was just large enough to breach his side of the pillars, but not big enough to see from the other side(palms revolving heaven 65 power, 65 speed). This rotational chakra was more than powerful enough to cut away at the pillars of rock and as a result sent pieces of rock hurling straight ahead in both Nobu and Ichiro's direction(about an 8 foot horizontal spread of flying rock, vertical spread is the extent of the pillars height which I'm assuming is at least 6 feet; not giving these projectiles a set throwing speed since I didn't throw them but if you want a firm number we can just base it off of the palms revolving heaven speed of 65 with an impact force of 50? if you're not cool with that, lemme know!). However, they were also in the direction of the clones. The clones were spaced out just enough so that the majority of the rocks would fly in between them.
Just before the beginning of the destruction of the rock pillars occurred and while he was still rotating, Sakaiza did two last things. The first of which was direct all of the clones to lift their hands forward and up, in the directions of Nobu and Ichiro. The second of which, was forming the dog, boar then ram hand seals. As a result, when the pillars would explode into rocks and fly towards the other two shinobi, Sakaiza employed both the momentum he generated from spinning quickly and the transformation jutsu he just used to turn his body into a rock flying with a trajectory pinpointed to be just behind Nobu as he lunged forward with his kick. The speed of this rock blended in with the rest and was just as normal in appearance as what the rest seemed.
Through this process, it would give the appearance of the ten clones using some type of jutsu to hurl the rocks from the pillars that were behind them forward at the other two shinobi. Due to Sakaiza utilizing the earth pillars to create discretion and disruption in the line of site, it would be easy to mistake one of the mindless clones that approached Ichiro and Nobu for the real Sakaiza. When actually the real Sakaiza was blending in with the rest of the many rocks flying towards Nobu and Ichiro. His plan wasn't exactly all calculated, but with the distraction of the clones and rock projectile attack, in his current position he would be able to react appropriately to the responses of Nobu and Ichiro.
(WC:845; lemme know if there's any confusion. It's possible that I didn't word it the best I could, I'm running on like 4 hours of sleep lol)

Okay so he may have gotten a little over his head on this one, just a little. He agreed to this and he knew what was clearly going to happen yet now thinking about this more….he probably shouldn't have went and agreed to this. He was bored, he wanted fun and trying to learn a new jutsu like Swamp of the underworld was really really boring him. After his crazy flight attempt he managed to end up here of all places. Yet he wanted a challenge and so he got what he wanted. Thus he put his tanto back into it's sheath for the moment.
So he had to keep account of both of them and well yeah that wasn't really working being equally as worried for the two plus now there was clones on the field?! Great. Ichiro had most of his attention on Nobu however and watched as he was just jumping. “That's not fun looking at all” The redhead raised his hands in defensive guarding his chest as he let the transformation take over from there covering his arms and making them grey giving him a +20 in health making him have 70 health. He basically blocked the kick and the transformation ended right after the deed was done. There was some damage sustained...just a bit either way he would live. Chi wasn't just done there of course, as soon as the kick connected he stumbled back a bit and was beginning to prepare for his next attack….until rocks! Well not like he saw it he can defiantly hear rocks getting destroyed and stuff!
Okay his plan which wasn't really planned at all kinda backfired on him. Like literally it was bad. He should expect no less from Suna’s shinobi and he had to give the guy some props from being able to take the situation and adjust it to his liking. Now Ichiro could let these rocks hit him or he could not do that and fly upwards! Or go under. Or well he just couldn't decide in time so he let instincts take over and went with it. The boy knew he absolutely sucked at this close combat situation and he needed to get out of it quick. His hands just began to move forming the respective hand seals for the Substitution jutsu, which are tiger, boar, ox, dog, and snake (all formed at the speed of 100) and the teen was replaced with….tumbleweed. Well of course there would be tumbleweed, they are in a desert no logs here to substitute around with! Yeah he substituted with a tumbleweed and appeared five meters right behind the clones. So basically he and Saka kinda just switched places. Ichiro looked at each of the clones trying to figure out which one was legit. Not aware of Saka’s plan at all.
Well he had his own plan! Well something like that. Since he was behind the clones and flying rock now, Ichiro hands went back and formed the hand seals: Ram, Ox, and Bear causing Mud to flow from the ground and heading 10 meters in front of him/ towards Nobu and spreading out five meters wide causing anything that can get caught dragged along with it.
Okay he was doing good, not great..but good. He just waited there now as he kept his guard up and hands at the ready to quickly form any more hand seals. He had his knees slightly bent as well just in case he needed to run or jump. Just how long can he keep this up?

Ichiro puts away the blade, removing the primary concern Nobu had in close quarters combat. He wasn’t sure what Earth style attacks would be close range, nor did he know what types of skills the opposing shinobi had in hand to hand combat or how that odd transformation would come into play. Landing a kick firmly into the now blocking arms of Ichiro, Nobu watches as the arms shift in appearance to the strange grey color they had seen before. It almost reacts to the strike itself, like a body armor of sorts. Would it protect the man from any attack Nobu or Sakaiza would try to land? Well, only one way to find out for sure. Watching as the kick knocks him back slightly, Nobu also begins to hear the destruction of the rocks coming from the direction of where he last placed Sakaiza. Continuing his motion, he doesn’t stop moving.
The grinding sound of rock causes Nobu to rapidly turn his head, noticing not only the cluster of clones, but also the rocks launching towards him. Making a “U turn” Nobu gazes upon the clones. They didn’t seem to be moving particularly fast, Nobu noting their sluggish speed. They were moving far slower than he had ever seen Sakaiza move, and so Nobu had to wonder. Maybe he was moving slowly to conserve energy? Nobu wasn’t sure, but something was off and he knew it. The rocks were moving in many directions, some launching towards Nobu and Ichiro. Ichiro rapidly makes the hand seals for a substitution, disappearing as the rocks launch into what is now a tumbleweed. As the rocks launch at Nobu, he rapidly uses his hands to deflect a few of the rocks as they approach, his quick reactions dodging some of the other rock debris as he rushes towards the opponents.
Then as he was defending against the rocks, Ichiro now formed a mud flow to try and catch Nobu within, likely along with the clones based on his positioning. Mud pours from where he is, flowing towards young Nobu. The speed at which it flowed wasn’t incredibly fast, allowing Nobu to move around it if needed. But where would he go? Sakaiza’s odd clones were a possible target, as was Ichiro. Nobu knew that Sakaiza’s main skills lied in his Taijutusu ability so while Sakaiza was using some form of Ninjutsu he might not need to be too concerned. Nobu wondered when Sakaiza had learned how to utilize Earth Style jutsu, though. Last Nobu remembered, Sakaiza elemental proficiency was with Wind Style. He had done plenty of training on his own though, so he could have easily learned it in that time. Ichiro was still a mystery, his abilities unknown. The clones of Sakaiza had to be just that, clones. He knew that at least some of them were false images, so Ichiro would likely be the better target. There was only one of him, and if that were a fake he was much more skilled than Nobu had thought.
Sakaiza or Ichiro? That was the question. If each of those clones was using Earth Style attacks, dispatching them quickly would only lower the number of attacks heading in Nobu’s direction and limiting the amount of effort needed to defend. The Mud flow might catch the images of Sakaiza, and it would likely be wasted effort if Ichiro was already handling them. Dashing towards the left 30 meters (at almost max speed in attempts to avoid the mud) and watching to see how the Sakaiza images react to the Chef’s attack.
Nobu would have to bide his time and wait for an opportunity to arise, something he learned from his last spar with Saka.
