“Well we’ve already established you’re not a criminal, and you haven’t tried to kill me yet while I was meditating with my eyes closed so I figure we might as well try to help each other Kazuhiro-san” He would say respectfully before going through the scenario described above. He’d then proceed to turn toward the downed chunks of tree, noting that all of the branches were still on it. “Shall we continue?” He’d ask, trying to inform Kaz that he could increase the pressure if he desired. He’d sheathe his sword and take in a deep breath. Standing at the end of one of the pieces of tree. He’d use every ounce of his strength for this. Deciding that he wanted to push his impromptu training partner as far as he could. That was what allies were for after all. So he gave it a few moments for Kazuhiro to put his full grip on his shadow before flexing his legs and dashing down the line of trees and drawing his sword in one long strike. He would begin to cut through the branches like a knife through butter moving as fast as Kaz’s shadow would allow. Each branch would fling off the tree due to the force of the strike, sending them every which way. At the end of the tree he’d sheathe his sword and take a deep breath before turning to Kaz. “Is this working well for you young friend?” He would ask. He wouldn’t want to waste the boys time if something else would be more helpful to him. “I could start going through my katas. Sword katas require and ease and flowing movement which doing would be very difficult with your shadow restricting my movements. I think you might find it helpful for you as well. What do you say?” He’d ask. As the boy answered he’d begin to move the newly made firewood off to the side of the grove, bit by bit. This would prevent it from getting in their way, even if Kaz did decide to try something else for his training. He wouldn’t offend Valen at all if he’d prefer a different approach. He merely needed to know, the boy was already helping him immensely so far. He already felt as if the technique was within his reach. It wouldn’t be long now.

Hmm..This was starting to be a little troublesome albeit by a small margin. As he sat there he thought of a few ways he could actually make this challenging for the male and yet each one would probably tire him out bit by bit, but he wasn't a quitter. A small challenge of a smirk appeared on his face as he released the shadow technique and stood up for a moment," Koan with me for a moment. I'll need you to do something for me. As for what you've suggested Valen keep doing what you are now, i'll just increase what i'm currently doing," the small male made no hint as to what he was about to do and as his fox brother came closer he would sit back down, crossing his legs and placing his hands flat into the center of the area his legs made.
Koan knew what this meant and sat perfectly on the males head, his hands resting in a snake hand seal, something the two of them did when one needed perfect concentration. At this moment Kaz had shut off all senses, his training with the foxes allowed him to gain a certain level of control that many ninja of his age group could never learn on their own. His eyes closed as his hearing, sense of smell and many others except his sense of touch became darkened. A lifelike statue was all he became as Koan took a deep breath and flexed all nine of his tails pointing in different directions before stopping. To the outside world this would no doubt look strange as the boy stopped moving, only the small raising and dipping of his chest showing he was still breathing and yet it was controlled. As his hands began to move, he formed one set of hand seals, two being the same before his shadow stretched forward. How was it moving if he couldn't see was the question but then he had always been able to read the current of the wind with just his body.
The shadow soon found its way to Valen attaching to him and allowing him to move as normal until the second jutsu had went off. From his shadow three small tendrils would appear latching onto the males arms, and a third offset which looked similar hands latched onto the males legs. From that point Kazuhiro had been ready for the male to move though he wasn't the one to speak. The young fox opened his eyes and nodded to Val to commence his training more while Kaz concentrated purely on controlling his shadows. With each small movement that Val did with a limb, he would feel the tension in said limb increasing slightly. If he began to swing his sword? The shadows would apply pressure to assure that his swing was tough to pull.
Each movement caused a specific shadow construct to move and pull back making them the perfect rope in this training. Something interesting was that Kazuhiro had not moved at all minus his breathing, his mind being fully concentrated on holding the shadows in place. Mentally he had been watching through what he had been feeling from the wind itself, each sword swing that Valen had made caused the wind to shift albeit a little toward him allowed him to feel what had been going on. He had also been preparing a smaller jutsu that he had been thinking about, a small field of shadow. This wasn't normal like his other shadow techniques which he found moved based on where they had been. The field came out easily though he was holding the circle around him exactly five meters from himself, though nothing would be effected by this per se. What did happen was the fact that his shadows were now extended by quite a bit as he sat there and waited for the reactions of Val.

Valen’s Golden Eyes would stare at the young boy in fox in confusion as they entered what seemed to be a meditative position. He watched as the shadows come to him and latched onto him, taking him into a far stronger grip than he had been expecting. His body gained a movement resistance the likes of which he had never felt. It wasn’t just extra weight on his body like with weight training. It was full body resistance of some of the highest caliber. Valen would grin in excitement of the training and a deeply determined expression would come into his eyes as he decided to make this boy work for his grip. He would strain the lad as much as he could with this train because he felt this would help him more than anything. He would begin to do his normal sword katas, his sword slowly and sluggishly moving through the air as he fought for control of his weapon against the force that was holding him back. As he moved tendrils and hands of shadows began to reach up and grasp onto his arms and legs, increasing the difficulty further. Truly the boys control was absolute and devastatingly commendable. He could only remember one other time when he could not control his body and that was when Kenshin had increased his body weight to the point where he couldn’t even lift it. The crimson garbed shinobi began to sweat with exertion as he fought the control, fighting to perform his kata. It had become far more difficult than he was expecting and he decided that maybe he should try to push harder.
With strength that easily had the power to crush buildings he began to move through his katas, his sword moving through the air at a faster pace than before. His shining eyes looking to Kaz and Koan as they focused and concentrated on maintaining the absolutely incredible level of control. Every movement became a fight of determination, every kata became a battle of will as he moved through them at a slow pace. Still much faster than before, which would force the boy to try to increase his power as well to try and hold him back. It would be interesting to see how this training would end. Would he end up unable to move and paralyzed from the grip of the boys shadows? Or would Kaz slowly bleed himself dry to exhaustion of his chakra and lose the concentration on the technique. The very concept excited him greatly and spurred him on to move even faster despite the grip. His muscles straining with the power being put into the swings and sweat starting to create a thin sheen on his forehead due to the exertion it required to move. One thing was for sure, if this didn’t increase the speed of his draw than nothing would. He imagined he’d be able to easily reach a whole new level of quick drawing for him, something that he was extremely excited for.

Every movement he could feel as if he had been witnessing them in slow motion. The more the male inputted into this training, the more output Kaz had achieved in his shadow training. It was apparent that this was taking a toll on the young male and yet he continued to hold the pressure despite his body wanting to give up. It was one of the reasons he shut off anything that would cause him to stop, his body needed to be pushed in order to become stronger and this was what he wanted to do. The fox on his head however knew that the male was soon reaching his peak and when it came he had a decision to make: Stop Kazuhiro or allow him to push past his limits and achieve more. At the moment he was using three different jutsu just to hold the male back and train, but while Val looked to be handling this rather well, Kazu was sort of running out of steam.
The more he held it the more simple breaths came out of the male before it finally happened. Val would feel the shadows tighten for a moment before instantly becoming loose for just a moment, the males body way of saying that it had enough. Unfortunately for his body, Kaz was the master and he wasn't done yet. Stretching out his right hand he would will the shadows to connect back to the male as he began to pant heavily," Not done...Keep going i'm not done yet!," each word was followed by a pant as he held his arm up with his wrist, the young fox jumping off of the boys head just to try and stop him. Worry befell the foxes face as he tried to find some way to stop the boy," Kazu-san stop this now or you'll pass out or worse! You are pushing your body far too hard to keep up three jutsu. Try and take a break before you do some damage to your body," to which he only looked at the furry fox and smirked.
He was no quitter and if he did what would have been gained from this? The opportunity to say that he could push his limits and know what he could do? Or would it be that he fell short and never could forgive himself. The young boy held firm and pushed the thought of giving up out of his mind," I'm not giving in I can do this...If someone like "him" could do it why can't I?," Koan knew very well who he was referring to, but even he had limits. The small fox frowned for a moment as he knew he couldn't stop the boy from continuing and instead sat to this side and watched knowing that to be the only true thing he could do. As time went on the young boys left eye would slowly close as he was finally hitting the last of his reserves. His arm finally gave way as he fell out onto the ground and heaved a large gasp of air, his limit had been passed but only by a margin. Taking in the air he so desperately needed he laid on the ground taking in the air with his eyes closed.
The shadows soon disappeared giving him only a few moments of breath before the light of the world faded from his eyes for just a moment- he had finally lost conscience. Within the depths of his own mind he sat floating around in a sea of darkness, nothing much taking on form except a small portal that he could see out of. He could only see Koan because he had been sitting beside him in a position that his body could see as if it was a motion picture. Nothing was said though his concern was very apparent as the fox slowly fanned the boy. Knowing that this was only a spell, it didn't take long for the boy to regain himself and awaken to a bottle of water from the fox and a very displeased look. No words were exchanged but the looks were enough to paint a story between the two of them. Great his brother was pissed but he was too drained to do anything. Instead he simply laid there unless Valen had came over and said something to him, but at least one he looked fine. Just needed to get some rest.

Valen would continue doing his katas, moving through them faster and faster. His sword cutting and slicing through the air in fine displays of swordsmanship. He had come far with this place so far, to the point that he was proud to say he was a swordsman. He felt himself getting faster and faster as time went on. This told him that Kaz was running out of chakra but he could practically feel the boy’s determination to push through until he couldn’t manage it anymore. Feel the boy’s resolve to become stronger through this exercise, even if by just a little bit. Well Valen wasn’t one to let someone down. He pushed through his training himself, feeling himself pour more power into his strikes. Where he found the extra reserves of strength he couldn’t even begin to guess but find it he did. He accidentally slammed the blade into a few of the cut logs he’d made earlier and rather than slice cleanly the power behind the slash splintered the logs into tiny bits. He pushed through his own training, intending to reach new plateaus himself from the incredible regiment they were able to do. His sword slashed through the air at speeds that made it untraceable to those with any less than absolutely perfect visual prowess.
At this point he’d feel the restraints slacken for a moment, his speed becoming even faster for the briefest of instants before the restraints closed in on him again with a vengeance, tighter than they had thus far. They managed to slow him down this time but he bulldozed through it like a freight train and continued to keep his pace. Suddenly the restraints disappeared completely and he felt an odd sensation come over himself. As if he wasn’t completely aware of how fast he was moving anymore. All of a sudden his sword moved fast enough that he almost couldn’t see it anymore. A dark and excited chuckle echoed through his mind as he sword sentience made itself known. It didn’t say anything however so Valen simply let it be, he’d deal with it later.
Sheathing his sword he’d turn toward Kazuhiro to see the lad had passed out from chakra loss and he’d walk over as Koan tossed the boy a bottle of water. Valen himself pulled a protein bar out of his pack and would hand it to the boy as he laid on the ground. Valen would sit down next to him after pulling another bar out of his pack as well as a water bottle for himself. Since Koan had already given Kaz one. He’d take a drink of the water and a few bites of the bar before saying anything. “Damn good training, haven’t been held back like that before.” He’d say, complementing the kids strength as he ate the bar he’d pulled out. “I’d say we’re done here for the day wouldn’t you?” He’d ask with a small chuckle considering the kids current state of exhaustion. After a few more minutes consisting of him finishing off the protein bar and downing the water battle he’d get up and offer a hand to Kazuhiro. If he accepted he’d help him up and nod to him in respect. “We’ll meet again soon enough I’m sure, so I’ll simply say I’ll see you around Kaz.” He’d say before turning to Koan and giving him a respectful nod as well. “Koan, make sure he stays rested for a while, he doesn’t need to aggravate his chakra coils anymore than they already are.” He’d say before turning to leave himself, quite happy with the progress he’d made this day.
Of course if the boy preferred to help himself up it wouldn’t affect Valen at all, he’d merely nod and say what was described above before leaving.
