Missing Pets (Open)

As it seemed her idea was a good one and so Ikigai was asked to lead the wait to a restaurant and smartly he chose one that had a lot of fish on its menu. A good thought when considering that it is said that cats did love fish a lot. When they reached the restaurant from its back there where purrs and meows heard behind some dumpsters and at least it was certain some cats where here. Ikigai would now direct the task of going in to see if those where the ones they looked for to Yasu and she would nod: "Sure Iki-kun could you please cover the exit so if they run they won't escape?", she would pronounce the Iki like the Iki used to say breath and smile at him sweetly. While she did that she would reach into her bag and take out her first puppet, it was a wooden hand that she would place gently onto the ground.

Then with a flick of her finger the puppet would come to live and rise onto its fingers like a spider and started walking towards the dumpster soon to be chased by cats. The first to chase was a small black one looking closer this was definitely the young one in question followed by the sand coloured she-cat and the red striped tom was there as well still chewing on some leftovers. Yasu would slowly sneak closer towards the cats as her Lefty let itself be caught by the small one grabbing it lightly lifting it up. Its scared squeak alerted the she cat that instantly ran towards Yasu but as she bent down to grab it, she made a rabbit like evade and dashed towards the other two. Yasu then would walk over and grab the tom at its neck pelt and lift him up. He was pretty easy with that even purring when he was held and pet. She would turn around and walk back the small one levitated by her hand looking kind of irritated.

At least they thought of covering the exit. Komori half-handedly signed the clone seal while the two genin went to work on fetching the three cats, sending them off in search of the remaining pets. Seemed like Yasumi managed to catch two of the cats as one rushed towards Ikigai. Komori stood behind him with folded arms, curious to see how he would respond. Meanwhile, the clones were still combing the area. It was incredibly cold outside, so the cats could not have gone too far. He wanted to see the genin prove themselves more, but he also did not want them to fail the mission. Most of all, he did not want to inform the woman that any of her cats had died. But yeah, he was mostly taking a backseat; his clones will find one probably. Go crazy, kiddos.

Yasu would smile at Ikigaki: "Nice catch yourself", she chuckled and looked around a little. What to do now with those cats. Well she could hold one and her hand could carry the kitten for sure. Well Komori was there not really meddling with them so she would walk over to him. "Since I am not able to control living things yet would you be so lovely and hold onto this red tiger for now, he is warm and cuddly", she would smile while putting that chubby tom into the jounins arms. It almost looked adorable and then she took the Kitten out of her puppets hand. "Soo and this little fellow...", she would follow her mates look up into those green almost feral eyes, maybe they had found the one that was not that domesticated.
It seemed to recognize it was being looked at and Yasumi would see if she could get her small lefty to sneak up on that cat her eyes would look at Ikigaki: "You want to try and grab it, I am not sure Lefty is strong enough to carry a cat that big", she would squint her eyes and the quite huge tom that seemed kind of unwilling to just tag along.

“Oh,” Komori said as Yasumi handed him a cat to hold. He uncrossed his arms as he took the cat and held it, kind of awkwardly while Yasumi sorted some stuff out. His shadow clones had been on their way back to rendevouz with the team, when they also had heard the meowing coming from the rooftops. Luckily, they all seemed to be pretty close to each other. His clones would land swiftly on the roof, each dashing to grab a cat in perfect synchronization. The two would scoop up the felines, dropping off the roof and holding them securely, as to not harm them. They would land behind the original Komori, now all three holding cats. “That’s all five. Let’s get back to her home.” With that, all three Komoris would go back to the woman’s home, releasing the flood of cats back into her life. If Yasumi and Ikigai had any questions or anything, he would stick around and answer them, otherwise, the mission was done and so was he.

Yasumi would look amazed at Komori who had with his clones found the other cats. The one more spiteful and unsophisticated one had clawed into his hand but the clone did not seem to mind that at all. Now she returned the cats to the old lady with both of them and then turned to Komori and Ikigai. "It was a pleasure working with you Komori-san", politely she would bow to the jounin and then turn to Ikigai. "I would not mind to work with you again either, it was a nice experience. Come home safely Iki-kun", then she would take out her puppet Luicel and turn on its light. Since it was still winter light would fade soon and she was still afraid. So with a wave she would leave the scene.
