A Meeting of Youths (Open, Atarashi Senju)

Atarashi gets an idea, out of the hundred moving through his head. He takes a horse stance and forms a ram seal. He then starts building up his chakra in preparation for trying to perform the water release rain tiger at will jutsu. It's fairly slow at first. He has to pull on parts of his chakra he hasn't really had proper training to use before because he's never attempted to perform a very powerful jutsu like this before. He's only done a couple before now. The sheer scope of the water release rain tiger at will jutsu is, on its own, putting strain on his chakra system. The idea of controlling that much water for a single jutsu is such an extreme idea that it's hampering his ability to build up the chakra required. He doesn't even know where to start with the water release rain tiger at will jutsu. First he has to evaporate a vast amount of water. Then he has to condense it into clouds in the sky. Then he has to put a large amount of his chakra into the jutsu. That means it's going to take even longer because after he builds up the chakra to cast this jutsu he then has to turn it into a vast amount of water release chakra just to use in this single jutsu. He continues to hold the ram seal and pull on his chakra reserves to get enough chakra to start trying to perform the water release rain tiger at will jutsu. The chakra keeps building and Atarashi starts to sweat from the strain on pulling on this much chakra for a single jutsu. In order to maintain focus on building up his chakra for the water release rain tiger at will jutsu Atarashi starts focusing on the flow of the water he's standing in. He watches the water he's standing in flow through the grass and around his feet. He watch the water he's standing in flow away from him to wherever it's going, to wherever the lowest point of gravity is. He watches how the water he's standing in flows and how is pushes against every blade of grass, being held back by none. He focuses on how the water he's standing in feels as it flows against his feet and carries anything that's not tied down along with it, and how some of the stuff being carried by the water he's standing in feels as it brushes against his feet. The focus on the water he's standing in allows Atarashi to continue to build chakra to use in the water release rain tiger at will jutsu with minimal discomfort. The chakra continues to build at a steady rate, even if the chakra doesn't build at a fast rate. If anyone were to look at Atarashi right now they'd see something they wouldn't expect. You'd expect to see a child struggling to build up the chakra for this. However, that's not the case. instead his face is completely blank. It almost looks like he's under the effects of genjutsu or maybe some kind of trance. He looks like a man. or boy in this case, possessed. It doesn't look normal. In fact it looks rather unnatural. However there's no way of knowing what would happen if he were to be disturbed. It may be best to just let him continue, however he doesn't look well.

Atarashi finishes building up his chakra after a little while and is ready to start converting it into water release chakra for the water release great exploding colliding wave jutsu. He starts by sloshing the built up chakra in his body like a tide. But unlike the first time he tried to do it instead of being like a small pond this is like a vast ocean. The chakra is very hard to get moving because of the shear volume of all of it. Atarashi keeps pushing it back and forth, but eventually has to slow it down a little so that the chakra doesn't become destabilized and seriously hurt him, or worse it could kill him. Once Atarashi has established control over the ocean of water release chakra that resides within his body it starts sloshing back and forth on its own like the great tide of an enormous ocean. Once Atarashi has confirmed with himself that he's been able to turn all of the chakra into water release chakra for the water release rain tiger at will jutsu he feels confident enough to move forward with actually trying to perform the water release rain tiger at will jutsu. Atarashi forces himself into a meditative staves and begins the jutsu. Atarashi starts forming the Bird seal, and the he forms the Rat seal, and then he forms the Ox seal, and then he forms the Monkey seal, and then he forms the Rat seal, and then he finally forms the Snake seal. Atarashi starts spreading his chakra into the surrounding air and ground to seek out water that he can use in the water release rain tiger at will jutsu. Now the problem arises of, will Atarashi have enough chakra to keep the water release rain tiger at will jutsu going long enough for Higuto to show him the jutsu and then for him to try to learn whatever jutsu Higuto will try to show him after Higuto shows the jutsu to him? Atarashi puts the thought aside. He's resolved to not only perform the jutsu but keep it going for Higuto to show him whatever he want to show him and then to learn that thing for himself.

Once the water release chakra that Atarashi built up for the water release rain tiger at will jutsu has expanded far enough to have enough water in its grasp to try to attempt to do the jutsu properly, Atarashi gets ready to actually attempt to perform the water release rain tiger at will jutsu. Atarashi uses the water release chakra he built up for the water release rain tiger at will jutsu to Take a hold of the water molecules the water release chakra he built up for the water release rain tiger at will jutsu has already surrounded. Atarashi then takes the water release chakra he built up for the water release rain tiger at will jutsu and uses it to starts vibrating the water molecules that the water release chakra he built up for the water release rain tiger at will jutsu have already taken a hold of. Higuto nodded upon seeing him completely dominating the jutsu as the rain fell upon the two in a drenching downpour as he could see Atarashi getting tired from everything and he nodded at the young boy's success.

"Congratulations! You've learned quite a few jutsu today and I couldn't be happier for you. From what I feel of your chakra, however, you seem as though you're one or two more jutsu uses away from passing out. We can call it a day for now so that you can get some rest. Make no mistake when I say that you did excellent work here today. You should be proud of yourself."

Higuto looked around the field and thought it was getting late as he remembered he had to get home soon.

"Anyway it's been fun teaching you and a pleasure to meet you, young one. I hope to see you again someday even stronger. Don't stop training, ok? You'll become a very strong ninja in no time! Bye!"

He then formed the Ram seal as he disappeared in a puff of smoke.

Since you were taught it, you're able to claim 12 AP off of the medical jutsu, so I can approve 32 AP and both tiers for med. However, I'm afraid you can't save word count, so your best bet would be to put it towards something or just leave it there

Atarashi watches you go and soon after stops the water release rain tiger at will jutsu. Atarashi starts reflecting over all of the things he's done today. Though Higuto said he did a good job, he still wasn't sure. Had he really done it right? Had he done it the way he was supposed to? Or did he just somehow mimic what he had seen. As he walks away he contemplates the jutsu he had been taught by Higuto. The jutsu were strange but definitely useful. The Rasengan jutsu especially sounded like it could be fairly useful in a fight. Though if he had to get that close to someone that he could you it he may be in trouble. Atarashi wasn't the strongest people around so he'd have to be very careful. He continues to walk and think. That water release rain tiger at will jutsu was certainly powerful but it was really hard on Atarashi's chakra network. If he ever had to use that jutsu again he hoped he would be able to save it for the right moment. If not, it might spell an early grave for him. Atarashi watches as all of the water he gather just flows away, back from whence it came. Atarashi goes through the memories of the shadow clones, hoping to find any useful information. He remember the effects of the temporary paralysis jutsu. "Ugh, that was absolutely horrid." He goes over what the other shadow clone actually learned about the temporary paralysis jutsu. "I wonder how I could use this. It's an interesting jutsu but it doesn't have much weight behind it. At best it might be a momentary distraction." Atarashi soon leaves the training grounds and heads for home. He wonders if his father will be there.
