Task:This gang formed by teenage and prepubescent children has became quite a problem, rumours spread that they even slaughter animals and extort with their midget ranks.. Xyxer was a kind man. His followers merely want them rehabilitated and able to function to work better for the glory of their former leader. Killing is not allowed, oh, and it's notable.. They're pretty keen on killing small things.
Walking around town in his Jounin attire, Kizmaru didn't have anything planned today as he normally did. Wearing his usual attire of a yellow buttoned down shirt, navy blue pants and his ninja tabi, Kizmaru ws free to do as he pleased as he traveled around his village with his companion, Ram, clinging to his back just above his shoulder, nibbling on his shirt. It seems the little guy was always hungry even though he fed him over an hour ago. Giving an amused chuckle, he reached around to his back and pat the little glutton which gave a grunting sound of approval. At least he was beginning to understand what each and individual grunts mean when he pets Ram. Continuing his walk, he had walked by a villager who seemed to be running in the opposite direction of where Kizmaru was walking. He was a bit frightened, hysterical even but he didn't let that person's mood affect his own even a bit. Continuing to walk in said direction, Kizmaru pondered on if he he should continue to walk in said direction of the screaming man or not. Well, he kind of was a Jounin of the mist at the moment and if there is a disturbance, it was his job to check it out and enforce order.
Walking up towards the road where the villager had ran away from, Kizmaru spotted a large group of teenagers that had been gathered around something. It seems to be an animal that was near death and the teens had continuously abused. It was a disturbing sight to Kizmaru which was odd because normally this wouldn't even phase him. Maybe its because now that he had a companion of his own, his mindset had changed, only slightly though. Approaching the large crowd of teenagers, Kizmaru cleared his throat loudly and asked them to cease their nonsense at once. One of the teens turned around and flipped the bird at Kizmaru which caused him to tilt his head a bit wondering where he learned to do a gesture like that. This caused Kizmaru to chuckle as he was one to be trifled with, especially by a bunch of kids he was leagues ahead. "Nice trick kid, I taught your mother that one a long time ago while you were fast asleep in your crib with a different method in mind," Kizmaru had retorted. This apparently got the other teens to giggle and chuckle at one of there comrades and the had begun to turn red in the face.
This also made Kizmaru chuckle at his own retort before instructing all the kids to go home to their parents but this comment of his didn't sit well with them at all. They're laughter now turning into cold, sharp stares made Kizmaru feel a bit on edge. The one near him that he made fun of all of a sudden decided to throw a punch at Kizmaru's torso but Kizmaru just swatted the punch away with his left hand. Giving another sigh, he wasn't in the mood to fight or deal with all of these kids at all. Not knowing when to quit, the kid had spotted Ram a top of Kizmaru's back before giving a smirk. They had pulled out a long, thin iron pipe seemingly out of no where and pulled his arm back in an attempt to swing at his companion. Before the strike was thrown however, Kizmaru had already been staring at the teenager with his third tomoe sharingan activated with an enraged frown. If the boy had miss stepped, even a little bit, Kizmaru wouldn't have hesitated to kill them where they stood. They clearly got the message as they just dropped the weapon. Visibly angry, Kizmaru pindered on what he should do with these kids.

Keita had been on edge a bit lately, as there was a disturbing rumor going around that a group of children were going around and harming small animals or things of that nature, and Keita was definitely against that. It was just that Keita could not bring himself to raise his hand against a child, especially one of his village that could potentially be rehabilitated. It was really concerning no matter how he looked at it, and he was wondering if he should do something about it himself, when he suddenly saw his eyes on the mission board in the administration building, and there was a wonderful piece of paper stapled to it that asked for the gang to be taken care of, non lethally of course. This was great new for Keita, who had just come from a fairly energizing meal, and was perfectly capable and ready to take on a mission such as this. Keita made sure that he had all of his things with him, although he did not quite need them, considering the mission at hand, and then sauntered off towards the area where they were mentioned. It was a fairly normal industrial area, and although the area had lots of houses, there were lots of small and large alley ways that normally people did not use, and the only people that would show up to these areas were the delinquents that showed their faces. Although a delinquent in the bloody mist meant something entirely different than one of the same types of people in another village, and these people needed to be dealt with rather harshly. Especially if they needed to be taught a lesson for being vioplent with people, they were dealt with by getting beaten up, but Keita thought that talking to them and having them go through therapy was better most of the time, especially for those that had not come of age yet.
Although Keita believed that there was a time and place for things such as this, children should not be wantonly disobeying their elders, parents, and teachers, and as an educator of the mist village, he would go and make sure that they listen to reason and stop with their violent ways., Keita was strolling through the area, on the lookout, and asking some of the local people there if they had seen something like this, and he was greeted by pleas towards him. The villagers all knew him at this point, and he was one of the nicest people in the village, and so maybe they were thinking that the kids would listen to him instead, and if not, he would at least have a method to stop them from beiung little jerks all the times and harming small animals. Keita managed to get the instructions on how to get there pretty quickly, and he showed up just as one of the kids attempted to hit his friend Kizmaru with a pipe. Keita sighed, and immediately rushed over as well, asking what he needed to do to help, and giving a knowing and disapproving glance at the kids. He knew some of them, and they knew him as well.

Yosei left the mission noticeboard with a heavy feeling in his gut. Ordinarily, his aversion to children would have dissuaded him from choosing an assignment that required interacting with teenagers. Teenagers, after all, were just children but more dangerous. His attitude changed a little recently, as luck would have it, when he worked with a disgruntled group of young academy graduates on repairing a bridge for a mission. He found himself sympathizing with those brats more than he anticipated, but they certainly were defiant and bad tempered. As soon as he saw the information on the Gummybear Gang, part of him worried that some of those kids had gone down this path. It was hardly realistic to think he could turn them all around completely after one day.
He was wearing a new Kimono, coloured royal blue and with a longer back designed to look like a peacock tail. He wore pink, fingerless sleeves that went from wrist to bicep beneath the long sleeves of the kimono, and the Okina mask from his collection. The Okina mask depicted the face of an old man, and while most bore jolly or wise expressions, this one had minimal features save for a pair of lips curled slightly upward in agony. This one, which Yosei thought of as the Despair mask, had called to him as he got ready that morning perhaps in anticipation of the conflicted emotions that awaited him. His mock tail sailed colourfully behind him as he sped towards the mission destination, making out two familiar figures as he got close. Keita and Kizmaru, two Jonin that Yosei had worked with before. They seemed to be at a stand-off with the troublesome teens.
Scanning their faces quickly, he was relieved that he didn't recognize them. Soon this relief withered in his heart as a girl with snow-white hair stepped out from behind one of her friends, and Yosei's greatest fear was realized. This was Seiki, from the group he'd worked on the bridge with. Despite himself, he couldn't deny the shock he felt. Seiki had been easily the most well-adjusted of the group, quiet and kind and selfless in helping her friends. It didn't seem possible that she could have gotten herself involved in something like this.
Yosei jumped, landing between Kizmaru and the kids. Of course this could be seen as acting as he should, positioning himself to defend his allies. But he was also motivated to diffuse tensions here, and hopefully stop Kizmaru and Keita from annihilating these teens if he could. This instinct surprised him too; A few months ago he wouldn't have cared about a bunch of street rats getting taught a lesson. Now he found he had no stomach for it - at least if Seiki was involved. The Jonin, however, had every right to be angry and no reason to hold back.
"What are you doing here? How could you disgrace yourselves like this?" Yosei barked, catching himself off guard with his uncharacteristic tone. He realized he was talking specifically to Seiki, and she looked both surprised and ashamed by his sudden arrival. There was something else to her however, a hopelessness in her eyes. He thought he should make his focus on her less obvious, so he directed himself at the others next.
"You all have no idea how out of your weight class you are right now. Do as Kizmaru says."

Kizmaru was quite livid with what was about to transpire after fending off the iron pipe attack. All kinds of maliciousness welled within him at the moment and he was barely keeping himself in check at the moment. Now his companion had caught wind of the situation that was currently transpiring and had stopped attempting to chew up his clothing. Now Ram was just wary as it felt a sense of urgency as it now noticed the danger that was around them. At this point in time, Kizmaru decided these teens couldn't be saved and must be allowed to die, Well no, he didn't but he thought it was a spooky thing to say that might scare them a little bit. However, he still wanted to teach them a lesson and if they wanted a fight, that's just what he'd deliver to them. His right pinky had risen as he was about to begin some hand signs when suddenly he heard somebody come from a distance. It was his friend, Keita that he had known for quite awhile. Now that Keita was currently present, he knew it wouldn't be in good taste in order to bring harm to these teens in front of Keita and on top of that, he wasn't in the mood for a moral compass lecture and potentially, a battle.
Inhaling, he let out a long sigh as he figured it was best to just let Keita handle the situation at hand. Before he could say anything, a third party had swooped down, startling Kizmaru and putting him on edge as he stepped back a bit to see who the newcomer was. It was Yosei, somebody he had worked with both as the Mizukage and just a normal Jounin. He wasn't sure for how long he was around for but the more, the merrier. Yosei had appeared attempting to diffuse the situation at hand by scolding the teens for their behavior. It seems as if both Keita and Yosei know most of these kids and maybe they could be the ones to straighten them out. If they hadn't shown up, things could have gone differently. Of course, he wouldn't have killed them but there were other ways he could have straightened them out. Now that he was aware he was around allies, Kizmaru blinked slowly, deactivating his sharingan and then turning to Keita and Yosei. "Just in time, any later and things would have been different, a lot different. First, do you guys know these kids and second, what's going on? Why have there been so many children gathering around these areas causing distress?" Kizmaru wasn't completely informed of the situation at hand and wanted to know what was going on before he decided to take any further action. There might have been some rumors here and there about gangs arising but it couldn't be a gang of children now, could it. And if it was, he'd have to figure out some way of disciplining them without using extreme measures.

Keita nodded at Kizmaru when he had said hello to him, and Kizmaru also said that if he had not gotten here, it would be a lot different. From what Keita knew about Kizmaru, these kids would most likely have been sent to the hospital by now, and while that might straighten some of them out, it would most likely cause a hatred for the jounin in the village to raise your hand against a child that was not a shinobi. Ninja skills were at most times lethal, so it was much different if a child shinobi attacked you than it was for a non shinobi child to do the same thing. The bloody mist would not hesitate to rip out the weeds in the shinobi work force, but these random civilian children were not so dangerous. Keita watched as Yosei, a child that was showing up with them more and more as time went on, most likely because he was being groomed by the higher ups, showed up and started to scold the children, particularly a small girl. Keita did not know this particular child, but it seemed that Yosei knew her, as she looked ashamed at her actions. 'Someone is making them do this.' Keita thought in his head, as he walked over and knelt down with the kids, getting to their eye level and putting on an amiable smile. "Yosei-kun, calm down a bit. You should know better than most that its at this time that emotions can get the better of you. Also, people without your skill set can be manipulated far easier at this age." Keita softly reprimanded Yosei, if you could even call it that, in a docile and heartwarming tone, before turning back to the kids in front of him. He was not going to scold them, especially now that he had gotten a hint. He knew a lot of these kids, and they were not the ones that would start this on their own, but they probably got swept up in it as it started with someone else.
Keita simply looked at the kids, and although he was still wearing a wonderful smile, his tone was flat and ominous, and this was the tone that Keita would take when he was very upset. These kids knew that Keita was most liikely the scariest jounin when he got truly angry, as they had heard that his torture methods were the most effective against prisoners, and he seemed to be able to turn his morality on and off at will, when he started to get mad. These kids were now properly scared, slightly cowering with sweat welling up on their foreheads, and tears in their eyes. "So, what's the person's name that made you do this?" Keita gave them a simple, short, and sweet question and simply looked at them. Almost before he even finished his sentence, a couple of kids stumbled upon their words, and then almost blurted out at the same time. "It was Old Satoshi! He told us that if we didn't do this, he would kill our pets!" "Yeah, Keita sensei, please forgive us!" "He has the strength of a ninja, we couldn't really do anything, and he said he's watching us!" After hearing the kids all scream and cry like that, Keita just put his finger to his mouth to shush them, and they all shut up simultaneously. "Go home, apologize to your parents, and await punishment." Keita left them with that, and the children scattered. "Old Satoshi is a crotchety old man that hates the sounds of animals, and usually beats them when they get near his property. I've warned him to stop, but it seems he thinks its okay to threaten children to do it for him now." Keita stated very flatly, as he was properly upset this time. He then told his two companions where Old Satoshi lived, and then started to walk in that direction fairly quickly.

Yosei's ears burned with shame as he listened to Keita Sensei's words. He was absolutely right, of course. Yosei had acted on pure instinct and emotion, jumping into a situation he didn't fully know the context of and lashing out at someone who was most likely guilty of nothing more than being a kid. He had felt, and hoped, that he got through to her and her other friends before and seeing now that it was nothing more than overconfident bluster on his part, he was momentarily shaken. Normally he acted a lot more cautiously, and he never allowed himself to become personally invested in these kind of matters. Actually, that wasn't true. It wasn't a matter of permitting himself anything, it simply didn't happen. That was something he would have to watch. He felt embarrassed, but swiftly quashed that feeling. It wouldn't do any good to get even more hung up on his feelings. In any case, Keita's words were sensible and fair. This was an accomplished Shinobi whom Yosei was beginning to look up to more and more each time they worked together. Not only was his level-headedness something that earned Yosei's respect, but where the Hidden Mist was cruel, Keita could be kind. Yosei at least, had never seen him exercise cruelty where it was unwarranted, but then again he had yet to keep anyone at anything less than an arm's length so it easily could have all been a deception. If that were true, Yosei might only admire him more.
At least the situation looked to have been diffused. Kizmaru had eased back and Keita quickly got to the root of the matter. He behaved exactly how Yosei now wished that he had, and made a note of it to himself. As Keita briefed them on this Mr Satoshi's whereabouts, Yosei kept one eye on Seiki. It was a relief to learn that these kids weren't acting out of their own accord, even if the duress they'd been put under sounded somewhat traumatic. Still, the empty look in her eyes said that the problem couldn't be resolved so easily. Perhaps what happened had affected her worse than the others, or maybe even something else had swayed her to the darkness in her mind.
She looked at the ground, avoiding his eyes. Yosei sighed, releasing the tension in his chest and reverting to his cold, focused self. Perhaps she would be willing to hear what he has to say later. And if not, well, it's none of his business anyway, wasn't that right?
"I leave that man to you, Keita Sensei, Kizmaru Sensei. Please allow me to take care of things here, and make sure that these kids are taken care of and make right what they've done."
As Keita left, Yosei walked over to the animal the children had been killing. It was a dog with several large bruises on it's face, one swallowing up it's left eye. There were abrasions and wounds all over the body which was mostly still, save for some ragged, shallow breathing.
"There's no saving it." Yosei said in a monotone, nimbly sliding a senbon out of his weapons pouch.
"No, don't! I know some med ninjutsu!" Seiki cried sharply, rushing over, sliding to her knees in front of the animal and putting her hand on it's belly. As her palm began to glow a light green colour, the pup started writhing in discomfort. Yosei gently lifted her hand away.
"I'm afraid even an expert medical ninja probably couldn't save him after he's lost this much blood, and you only picked up the basics in class."
Seiki's face screwed up in pain, and she buried it in her hands.
"Why are you so sad over suffering that you caused?"
She pulled her face up and Yosei was surprised to see it was dry. It wasn't sadness she was experiencing, but what looked like turmoil.
"It's alright. You didn't want to do this really, did you? Sometimes we make mistakes. Unfortunately, mistakes can't always be reversed. But we can do our best to learn from them."
With a flash of steel from Yosei's needle, the dog was completely still again, wearing an almost peaceful expression in it's final sleep. Seiki was quiet for a few moments, as death hung in the air around Yosei and the group of teenagers.
"I hate this world." Seiki said quietly after some time.
I do too, Yosei thought. He knew that he wasn't supposed to say that out loud for some reason - but why not? Nevertheless he bit his tongue and tried to think of something more hopeful to say.
"You all do need to fix what you've been doing, hurting helpless animals, even if you were forced into it. From now on you're the neighbourhood watch committee. You don't fight crime, but you will report on it if you see anything. You watch each other's backs and if anyone tries to manipulate or hurt you, you come to me or either of the other two Ninja you saw today. Although as a Genin, I'll probably have more free time than them, so... Never mind, is that all understood?"
The kids seemed completely overwhelmed by everything that had happened in such a short space of time, but that worked in Yosei's favour. They agreed, somewhat numbly, and he told them how to contact him or any other ninja if something like this were to happen again. He took it upon himself to notify the owner of the dog, but his investigation led him to conclude that it was a stray. He took the kids on their first "mission" to give it a proper burial. Seiki thought she managed to slip away unnoticed as the others were digging and preparing, but Yosei watched her go, with a look in her eye that betrayed some kind of surrender in her soul.

Listening to the happening of the events that transpire Kizmaru was mostly confused as to what was going on. He had watched Keita reprimand Yosei for being upset with the children even though deep down, Kizmaru was even more upset one of the little monsters tried to attack his companion, Ram. Well, either way, this wasn't his problem and Kizmaru would prefer to keep it that way, or so he thought. Keita had gone in for questioning and one of the children had told him they were put up to it by an old man named satoshi. Kizmaru's never heard of that name but he had always tend to forget people who weren't very useful to him. After they had explained to Keita what was going on, Keita had sent them home to apologize to their parents and await punishment of some kind. Giving a small shrug, Kizmaru didn't seem to interested in what's going on nor was he particularly invested. Turnign to Yosei to see what he was doing, he also seemed to be soothing a child that he personally knew. He then stood up and turned to both Kizmaru and Keita to tell them that they should be the ones to handle the old man.
Keita had begun to walk in a direction and Kizmaru decided to follow briefly but he decided it was best for Keita to sort this situation out by himself. Instead, Kizmaru watched Yosei continue to soothe the small girl in front of him. After awhile, he got bored and decided he'd leave the clean up to these to and continue on with his day. He then pat Ram's head one more time, which seemed to calm him down and made him begin chewing on his clothing once more. He placed his hands in his pockets as he gazed on Yosei give out a kind of punishment. He then told Yosei, he was gonna go and continue his walk and make a report. With that, Kizmaru had then walked away from the group of kids.

Keita was walking down the street towards the house that he new that Old Satoshi lived in, and he was more than a bit pissed off at the moment, as an person who could deliberately trick and coerce children into doing nasty things was someone that needed to be removed from society. This would go over relatively easily, as the crime for corrupting the youth of Kirigakure against their own peoples would be handled with the erasure of the person that had done the crime. So, Keita simply calmly walked, noticing that Kizmaru was following him for a moment, and then decided that he would simply go a different way. It seemed like the situation was over, anyways, so Keita would just need to go to this mans house and deal with him. On the way, it did not seem like anyone was going to warn the old man, and the people that saw Keita were simply smiling and weaving at him like they had done every day before that, with Keita simply nodding in return, which sort of shook some of the people in the neighborhood that was greeting him. They always took a note of Keitas calm and cheery demeanor, and this was the first time that he did not stop and have a friendly chat to them, or at least wish them a good day in any way, so it was natural for them to feel a bit weirded out by his actions. Keita continued down the long streets until he got to the corner down the street, and this was where Old Satoshi lived. It seemed like he had a fairly large property, and it was fairly ambiguous where his property and lawn ended and where the propety of the city began, so Satoshi was able to terrorize the children and the animals that were walking through this area with impunity. Keita decided to simply walk up to the front door, and even before he had gotten to the door, he had heard an old man yell from within the building.
"Go away! I don't want any! Stay on my steps any longer and I'll strangle you to death!" The crotchety old man could be heard shouting from the outside. It was obvious that the old man did not see Keita, as if he had, he would immediately notice that Keita was wearing the signature jacket of the villages jounin, and would immediately start licking his boots. Satoshi was a person that bullied the weak but made sure to fear the strong. Keita ignored the man, simply standing at the door before giving it a couple of gentle raps, which Stashi heard. "Didn't you fucking hear me!" Satoshi screamed, before loud footsteps and huffing could be heard coming from inside the house, getting closer and closer to the front door where Keita was. The door suddenly swung open, an angry and red faced Old Satoshi standing at the door, practically foaming at the mouth in anger,. before he suddenly had an extremely surprised, and obviously fearful face on himself as he peered down at the jounin jacket Keita was wearing. Before Satoshi could even explain himself, Keita decided to stab through his chest with a chakra chain that manifested with the spike attached to the end instead of the regular chain. The old man could not even scream before he was stabbed to death. There happened to be an Anbu in the area, and Keita signaled to them to clean up the mess, before he simply walked off in a calm and leisurely manner.
