As Gonk prepared to charge the elves, a shockwave was created around Nobaru, knocking Gonk to the ground. His skin was red, and his hair was flying around his head.
“Is this the power of the eight inner gates?” Gonk wondered as he watched Nobaru move at impossibly fast speeds, tripping and then planting the elves. When he was done, there was a garden of kicking elf feet in the snow. Nobaru then flung the senju wood towards them, saying their work was done. Each member of the team grabbed an elf, carrying them over their shoulders like naughty children. The one Gonk was carrying was being a bother, kicking and yelling, so Gonk decided to do something about it.
“My scales are very sharp,” he whispered to the elf, “it would be a shame if my arm slipped and cut your throat.” The elf let out a barely audible shriek and immediately fell motionless and silent. Gonk smiled contentedly, not feeling the slightest bit bad for scaring the little devil. When they arrived at the workshop, an elf led them to a row of jail cells. Each elf was thrown into their own cell and locked up. When they re-entered the main room, the group could see a large, fat man, clad in red standing there.
“Outstanding work you guys! You caught the perpetrators and returned the wood. As promised here are your rewards. The Hollykage tossed them each a small red bag. Gonk undid the knot and looked at the contents of the bag. Inside there was a piece of the wood they had retrieved.
“Yeah whatever,” Gonk said to the old man. “Can you just take me back home.”
“Of course!” The Hollykage said smiling, not giving Gonk the satisfaction of making him angry. The Hollykage snapped his fingers, and then Gonk was standing at his kitchen table, right where he had left.
“At least my hunch was correct,” Gonk thought, placing the wood on the table. “I wonder what I can use this for?” Gonk had gotten fairly worked up over this mission, so he decided to take a walk on the beach. It was a clear night, the waning moon illuminating the waves as they crashed on the shore. He walked for a while, contemplating his behavior on the mission.

“I was acting very immature back there. Just because I don’t like christmas doesn’t mean I have to be a jackass. It’s too late to fix how I acted on that mission, but in the future I’ll keep my opinions to myself.” Gonk returned home and went to sleep. It was late and he would probably have a mission in the morning.

Finally, this crew was starting to take this mission seriously. Before the crew even hopped into the sleds that Tsubaki thankfully made, two of the water style users fired long-range attacks with needles and Dragons. The water that touched the ground and snow instantly froze as it was that cold in the Land of Iron. It turned out to be a good thing as it gave the water constructions more of a kick to them than they would normally.

Once they crashed into the snow fort, which was surprisingly durable, it turned into an all-out war. Nobo, a taijutsu specialist, opened his 8 inner gates going up to the 5th gate. In that state, it turned his skin red and his muscles tightened. In this state of strength, he easily broke into the fort. Now the Elves were wide open without much protection. Without much of an effort, the group captured the naughty elves and got their Senju wood. Tsubaki held captive, Frost, in a wooden construction that bound their tiny body. "No fair, ninja magic is totally unfair!" Frost angry protested, wriggling about in his bindings. "Well too bad! You should've thought of that before stealing from the Hollykage." Tsubaki teased the elf as Frost continued to pout. Tsubaki was surprised at how light the elf along with her wooden construct weighed-she was easily able to take them out of the fort on her shoulders and plant her in the ground

Each of the shinobi took their captive out of the fort. Nobo commanded Tsubaki to bind them all. "No problemo, tomato." She replied back to Nobo in reference to the red skin he had in his 5th gate. Tsubaki weaved a couple of hand signs and bound all four of the elves in her wood style. They all protested but in vain as the wood-style was too powerful for their weak little bodies. They pack the misfit elves and the stolen wood into the sleds so they can return them both to the glorious HollyKage.

Upon arriving at the palace of the HollyKage, the elves were taken into custody by the other elves working with the Holly kage. They all twisted and kicked, trying to get out of the binds but in vain as they were continued to be carried away, the wood-style was too tough from their tiny bodies. From there, they would be taken to the prison that is in the workshop of the elves for some reason. Then it was time for the crew to return the wood to the HollyKage himself. He sat upon his throne where he would command his elves where to place the wood that the group had retrieved for him. "You all played your part. Now it is time for you all to return home with your rewards." The hollykage told the group, revealing the senju wood and some other idems.

Tsubaki watched the Hollykage in all his glory. Everyone else seemed to just want to go home and was quickly returned home. "Holly Kage, before you send me home, could I ask something?" The Hollykage ears perk. "Yes?" Tsubaki took a deep breath in and puff her chest in confidence. "Are my genin on the naughty list?" The Holly Kage gave a jolly chuckle. "You've done a great job as a sensei. I don't need to tell you whether they have been good or bad. The only thing you can do is trust in them and yourself." He gives a wink before snapping and teleporting Tsubaki back to Hoshikagure.

Tsubaki returned home surrounded by snow in the village market. She was still wearing her extreme festive wear. The blew with a cool chill that reminded her of the Land of Iron and the Hollykage. Tsubaki returned home to find herself staring at a present wrapped with wrapping paper and a bow seated on her couch. She quickly rushed over to open the gift. On the present it read:

"You forgot this."
Hollykage

The gift was hard and rectangular. When she ripped open the wrapping, she found a block of wood. But not just any wood, Senju Wood! It was a reward for her hard work on the mission. Tsubaki looked up to the ceiling as if she were praying. "Thank you, Holly kage."
