The walk from Books, Body Parts, and Beyond was short, but they arrived at the gates. The Nova would walk up to the person on gate duty and briefly explain the situation to which the man accepted.
"Kita you are free to leave. Take care now." The man would say to whoever was there from Kiri to leave Hoshi.

After recovering, Kita Travin was ready to go home. He had gathered everyone from the village that belonged to Kiri that wanted a ride home, as a few of the genin that had gone to the chunin exams were still in the village for one reason or another. He had no idea if any of them had passed and made it to chunin yet, but he would have time for that when he got back to the village with everyone. Looking around he noticed that it was going to be the most people he had ever teleported at one time. However, for now, they had a little walk to do since they would be unable to teleport out of the village due to one of their defenses. He would have to guide them back out of the village away before they could get home.
Once he had led the group of Kiri nin far enough away from the village that he would be able to teleport them. Travin would tell them to grab hold of him and don’t let go. Once they had all grabbed hold of him Travin would make a few hand signs and the group would vanish in a pale blue light.
The group would arrive outside of Travins home back in Kiri. “You all may come inside and find refreshments, showers, or whatever is needed I know I’ll be finding sand in places I don’t want for weeks” he would tell the group before walking into his mansion.

Finally. After so long, they had made their way to the village gates. He stood at the precipice of escape, and standing before him were his friends. Travin, Gonk, Ban, people who he hadn't seen in too long were waiting there for him. Yet the boy couldn't muster a smile. His skin was incredibly pale from the months he'd spent in Hoshigakure's cold prison cells without so much as a glimpse at the sunlight, and his body was far too thin, even thinner than normal, from the lack of proper nutrition. Yet the most telling part of his condition was his eyes, colored with dark circles and bags underneath from a chronic lack of sleep, and pronounced deadness inside. His dreams and aspirations of returning to his home village were about to be realized, yet the hope had died out some time ago.
Giving a final nod to his captor, Kita followed behind Travin as he led them away from the hellhole that was Hoshigakure. Kita took a final glance back, taking in the sight of the holistic architecture that composed the religious capital of the shinobi world. He'd thought it a beautiful place coming in. Yet now... now it held no wonder or marvel to him. Now that he knew what lay beneath the surface. Kita turned back, thinking solemnly to himself about his plans now that he was free. One day he would return. One day, he would make them pay for what they'd done, but not now. Now, he just wanted to return home, to free himself from his hell.
Kita was quiet throughout the short journey out of the range of Hoshigakure's seals, as was Bobo clinging to his back. He didn't seem particularly inclined towards sharing what he'd been through, at least not now. When they finally trudged far enough away for Travin to use his jutsu, Kita took hand wordlessly, following his instructions as closely as he needed. In a flash of light, they were gone from the hot climate of Hoshigakure, and the group found themselves once again in the streets of Kirigakure so many miles away. Kita blinked once in response, a bit dazed from the sudden change of environment, the sudden vertigo. Yet he was home. Surrounded by the familiar village mists and the cool air that clung to his skin. Almost as if in a trance he followed Travin into his mansion, eyes widening in surprise as he trudged along. It now began to register in his mind. He was home.
As the last member of the group entered into the mansion and shut the door behind them, it finally began to overtake the boy. His lip began to quiver, and his eyes began to water.
"I-I'm home?"
Tears began to flow down his face, and the weight of the revelation brought the boy to his knees. As he slumped to the floor of the Rentei mansion, small sobs could be heard emerging from the boy. He'd suffered so much... the beating from the Hogokage... the stress of fearing for his life... the violation of his human rights by the Village Hidden in the Stars... it was all behind him now. Seeing him break down after all this time, it almost brought tears to Bobo's eyes as well. He patted the kid on the back.
"It's alright kid... It's over."
The sobs grew in intensity inside the Rentei mansion as Bobo tried to comfort the boy, devolving almost into animalistic wails as the boy let out all of the pain, the frustration, the anger he'd built up over the months he'd spent trapped in that village. When Kita left the village, he'd been an optimistic young kid, 14 years of age. Now, he was 15. He'd spent his birthday trapped in the Hoshigakure prison with no mention or word of his family or friends, and come out the other end broken and beaten. He hadn't let himself cry since the day he was thrown in jail. Now... now there was nothing that could stop the tears...

It had been a long 4 months for Ban. Ban had been feeling the shame of the loss at the second battle of the chunin exams against a higher-level shinobi. his superior technique and flow were too much for Ban to handle. However, she heard that the pretty boy, Tsuna, she fought beside during the exam did pretty well afterward. It didn't make her feel any better, especially as it was a Hoshi shinobi.
Ban was always extremely proud of her country and everything it represented. She contributed to the wins of her teammates for superior teaching. But since Ban didn't win, only getting to the second round. It beat her up harder than Jigen could ever do. Was she worthy of Kiri's glory? Will she even be allowed back? Of course, she would, Ban tried to reassure herself. She knew that the brain was a powerful tool, but also one's worst enemy. Her anxieties for not living up to her own expectations and the villages swallowed her whole. On top of that, she wasn't even allowed home due to her teammate being in prison for some ridiculous ruling.
Time only made the wound worse as she wasn't at home; a place that made her feel comfortable. Ban waited for Kita, Gonk, and Travin to make it to the gates. Murata had some important things to attend to still in Hoshi, so she would be arriving later than the rest of the group on her boat. Kita was not a pretty sight to see. It almost looked like he had been tortured. She was tempted to ask him what had happened, but the air became dense with tension. Ban decided it would be best to wait till they got to Kiri to start asking questions. She figured the rest of the group was just as sick of Hoshi as she was.
They reach the outsides of the gates and then get transported instantly out that "Holy" place to land more familiar. She would never want to do that again.

Gonk followed the group out the gates and away from the village, stopping when Travin did. He already felt better just being outside of the walls, so he knew being home would be oh so delightful. But with the thought of home came the realization that he was probably still being hunted, and so would have to continue to lay low. It was a shame, but couldn’t be helped. He wasn’t going to risk his life and the lives of people around him just so he can go sightseeing.
Gonk placed his hand on Travin’s shoulder and after a moment, he was suddenly standing inside Travin’s house. Luckily this wasn’t Gonk’s first time teleporting, so while he wasn’t as experienced as a seasoned space time veteran, he wasn’t hit by the effects of teleportation quite as badly as Kita and Ban. After taking a moment to orient himself, Gonk followed Travin into the house, stopping in surprise when he saw Kita fall to the ground, sobbing. Unsure of what to do, Gonk merely stayed by Kita’s side, not wanting to leave the poor boy alone at this moment. He had been through more than Gonk could even imagine. It was impressive that he was even still alive. When Kita eventually stopped crying, Gonk gave him a little smile and said, “welcome home,” before walking off to Travin’s pool house where he would continue to be staying, at least for a little while longer.
