A Team Twilight Christmas Story
Thu Dec 16, 2021 11:17 pm
It was early morning in this quiet Senju household. The birds were chirping, the sun was shining, and the coffee was freshly made. Yaijōrama rose from his sleep and let out a small yawn as he did so. Today was a big day for him. He had a new training regiment planned that he wanted to try out. Yaijōrama slipped out of bed and the first thing he did was make his way towards the dresser in his room. There was a mirror on top of it and he went to take his hair from the messy bun he leaves it in when he goes to bed.
Yaijōrama noticed a red and white colored envelope that was sitting on his desk. He tilted his head sideways a little in confusion. ;; Who left this here? This is the second mysterious envelope… and this time its in my room. ;; Yaijōrama thought to himself but he reached his right hand to pick it up. He noticed that the envelope was addressed to him this time at least. Carefully he went to open it and pulled out the parchment paper that was inside. The handwriting was fancy he’d have to admit, but as he continued to read he just got even more confused. ;; Moon Country? Who’s Yoi? ;;
Once Yaijōrama thought that thought, he found himself in a new area. He was confused about where he was but what he did notice was the large peppermint gates that stood in front of him.

Someone thought they were very funny.
It was to some small surprise to Maro that when he opened his eyes in the morning, after a short nap, that his eyes were blinded with yellowed paper. Indeed, atop his nose, sat an envelope, balanced precariously on the tip of it. Someone thought they were very funny. Maro sat up without effort, his core strength astonishing, eyes going cross-eyed for just a moment as he watched the paper fall from his face and onto his lap. His legs swung over the side of the bed, a large hand grasping the paper in-between two fingers, inspecting it for a moment.
Maro was beginning to tire of mysterious letters. Despite this, he ran a finger through it, tearing the paper open and letting the parchment paper fall into his hand. With no degree of hesitance, the wolf protector read over the written words quickly. Why would he be invited to such a thing? It was not his business, nor did he have any sort of reputation for being the helpful and useful sort. He wasn't familiar with the name signed. 'Yoi'.
The assumptive words elicited a tilt of the head of the older boy. He saw no summoning scroll attached, nor would he be going to Moon Country. Still, he figured this would be a good thing to show to the brothers, the letter being tucked away into his jacket as he stood.
..
Someone thought they were very funny, Maro considered, as he stood at the Peppermint Gates of Moon Country. His second thought was though he'd never been to Moon Country before, the Peppermint Gates looked particularly alien. He supposed this is where he was meant to go, through these gates.
Someone thought they were very funny. In his mild frustration, Maro did not notice his oldest friend standing nearby.
