Chuunin Exams Finals: Battle of the Byakugan

- No killing your opponent. Proctors can end the matches at any time if it appears that a participant is in undue danger or if a fight is clearly over.

- A fight ends when one competitor is indefinitely incapacitated, knocked unconscious, surrenders, is forced out of the ring, or the proctor ends the match.

- Both participants will meet at the center of the arena where they will pay their respects and form the Seal of Confrontation. Afterwards they each step back 25m until they return to their positions and are 50m apart from their opponent.

- To keep things fair the participants will both be considered as a D-Rank character and follow the jutsu cap described in The Dual Rank System.

- At the beginning of their post the players will put their stat page in a spoiler and decide on their jutsu as is ruled in the point above. Once posted they are unable to use any technique that they didn't "register" in their first post.

Goto would enter the arena, walking towards the center where he would greet the crowd that had gathered to spectate the event. "Welcome everyone and thank you for coming" the silver haired opened his speech. The sun was out, a gentle breeze filled the area they were in. All in all everything was present to turn the day into something great. "Today we have something special in store for you, a final fight between two promising members of the renowned Hyuuga clan". By then Zunair as well as Onabi would have entered the stage, meeting at the center where they would stand together with the Deputy and greet the crowd.

Assuming the two shinobi indeed arrived, the young Senju continued with his speech. "Please give them a round of well-deserved applause". Goto would give the Hyuuga pair a moment to take in the atmosphere, an event like that wasn't something they'd experience everyday after all. He then started walking towards the exit of the arena, at the same time informing Zunair and Onabi that the match would begin the moment Goto disappeared from the scene. "Konohagakure, are you ready for the Battle of the Byakugan?", his shout answered by the loud cheers of the crowd.

Onabi noticed that Zunair hadn't showed up, Onabi looked around to search for his elder waiting patently. Onabi would sit down and wait for Zunair to arrive. Onabi tapped his foot worrying about his elder cousin it wasn't like him to miss something so important. If he didn't come Onabi would win by default. just in case Zunair did show Onabi would spring into an attack. But if he didn't he would call for Goto to end the match so Onabi could look for him.

Before Zunair had known it, the time has come to make his way to the arena where he would fight his cousin in the last round of the Chuunin exams. However, like his typical self, he was running late. Sprinting from the compound, he made his way through the streets. Zigzagging around the few wondering pedestrians that occupied the main road to the arena. Well, maybe he should let Onabi take the win and Zunair not even show up. He knew that would be frowned upon by everyone in the prestigious Hyuuga clan, and he'd rather not have that lecture and save it for a different day. Sporting his typical cuffed kimono, the baggy sleeves seemed to dance in the air has the arena came into viewing.

Sprinting up the stairs, he came to a halt as he gazed at his surroundings. The stadium was packed, and it seems like that we're all impatiently waiting on his arrival as Onabi was standing in the arena, lonesome, tapping his foot. Well, time to make some grand entrance as he jumped onto the railing and kicked off of it, heading towards the platform which his cousin is currently occupying. With a flip, he landed gracefully about 10 meters from Onabi. With smile, he scratched his head. "Sorry for the wait, time seemed to slip by," he nervously laughed as it seemed the match is ready to start.

Retracting his movements, he shifted his body into a the normal Hyuuga stance as he peered at Onabi. He was confused on with he removed the band that covered the cure mark upon his forehead, allowing everyone to see. Nevertheless, his thoughts on the matter weren't any of his concern. Activating his Byakugan, he felt his eyes transcend into another world as the chakra pathway in Onabi's body became clear. "Ready cousin?" He asked as he began to activate his Hyuuga Valor. He knew he would have to go all out in this fight, rather then last time they sparred. His cousin has become stronger now. Distinctive blue hues, surrounded his pupils as he felt his body increase with chakra flow. 

Sprinting forward at 135 speed, Zunair would begin to close the distance between the two Hyuuga's, as he came to an approximate 20 meters away, he would start off his attack. "Eight Trigrams: Vacuum Palm," Zunair said as he thrusted his palm towards Onabi's direction, sending a vacuum shell that was 2 meters in diameter and 4 meters in length. The vacuum shell would hurtle at Onabi at a speed and power of 85. The technique would hit if Onabi could not find a way to dodge or block the technique.

Onabi's thoughts lead him to look at where goto had left to, scared that the match would end before it even began and Onabi would receive the title of chunin disgracefully. Onabi's foot tapped faster and faster as his nerves began to overwhelm him. catching a fast moment in the corner of his eye Onabi's head snapped to Zunair doing his graceful acrobatic flip next to Onabi
"Don't make me wait like that young lord I was getting worried." 
Zunairs excuse made the boy chuckle.
"I'm not holding back this time Zunair so get ready." Onabi said with a big smile.
Zunair walked back to his respectful spot and with Zunair's warning and his older cousins initial attack Onabi didn't let Zunair have anytime to think, As Zunair activated his mint eyes and threw his thrust of air Onabi's limits had already been broken Immediately the first gate had been breached. With Onabi's new huge boost to his own strength and speed Onabi easily slipped by the air burst zunair sent toward him (because when the vacuum palm has moved 30m Onabi could had already moved 70.5m). Once Zunair is within range of Onabi's field of divination, Onabi assumed a Gentle Fist stance and began to deliver the barrage of attacks two then four then eight, etc. Each set of strikes is done at an exponentially increasing pace and strength. slowly knocking his elder cousin farther and farther backward Zunair would feel the energy be slowly slammed out of his body Onabis strength at this time would be 122 so each strike would do 61 points of damage onabi would be also delivering each strike at the speed of 220. If Zunair is able to dodge Onabi's first strike of the eight trigrams sixty four palm then Onabi's speed would drop to 200 and Zunair wouldn't take the massive blows to his torso and at this strength Onabi's strikes would be able to shatter bones in the area of contact, contained in the skin and resulting in loss of gross motor function in that limb but does not hinder hand seal formations.

Zunair watched the vacuum shell soar through the air but further on in the distance shocked the Hyuuga greatly. Not that his cousin was opening the first gate, but his speed was impeccable. He knew his abilities have increased but not to this extent. He was most likely going to lose this match because his speed was nowhere near his, but he has to think of a plan. Onabi slipped by his attack, which in turn, kept going until dissipated in the air. Jumping back, his cousin was closing the distance between them, and extremely fast. Activating Divine Pathway by using the hand seal Monkey adding 30 points of power to his next technique.

As Onabi closed in on him, only a meter away, Onabi immediately got into the Eight Trigrams stance, while he was fast, this did give him enough time quickly thrust his hand at Onabi, sending out an explosive dome that starts 5 cm away from their body that expands with a power of 100 and speed of 70, clashing with Onabi's technique. Since Zunair's technique is stronger in power of Onabi's, he would take 100 damage and be blown back at 80 meters into the wall dealing 140 damage of the arena unless Onabi can figure out some way of counteracting the jutsu.

Before Onabi could begin the strikes of the Sixty four palm Zunair burst out air shielding him and attempting to send Onabi flying back. Using Onabi's reaction speed of 230 Onabi riveted and moved directly backward to back sure that he wouldn't be caught by the concussive blast while the barrier moved 1m Onabi moved 2m. No matter what would happen Onabi would keep a 1m distance from the air burst so he would have enough time to react and enough room to run in and get a hit off. while onabi stopped outside the ranged of the barrier onabi turned to Zunair and yelled
"Oh common thats not fair!" Laughing to signify that it was a joke. Even though he was joking it was a extremely fast and intelligent decision that his elder made in the blink of an eye Onabi knew that he still had a lot to learn from his older cousin.

Zunair grimaced in annoyance as his cousin seemingly stopped his own attack and dodged the mint eyed Hyūga's in blink of an eye. He was too fast for Zunair to keep up, so hitting him is apparently not an option. Peering through his body, Zunair notice the limit or lack thereof of chakra. It reminded him how insane the powerup from unlocking one of the eight gates are, maybe he should learn the techniques himself. Watching his cousin closely as he was 10 meters from him now, as he didn't keep the burst activated considering it was useless at this point.

He needed to figure out a plan, but he wasn't for sure what would work, he couldn't hit him with any long-ranged techniques while his Eight Gates are activated. Looking around, he was out of options, maybe he should surrender. He was unaware of what he should do at this point but might as well do something. Taking off in a sprint towards him, he quickly through multiple hand signs together that consisted of Monkey > Hare > Rat > Dog > Bird > Snake, "Poison Mist," Zunair said approaching at 5 meters away from Onabi as he exhales a thick cloud of purple smoke in the shape of a cone. Covering 20 meters in all directions, having a power and speed of 50.

Onabi should inhale the toxins for if he moved back, he'd run into the wall, and all other directions have been occupied by the technique unless he can figure out a way to not inhale the smoke and get out of the dome.

Onabi watched as his older cousin started to glance around to try and figure out what to do, it seemed like he didn't know what to do about the speed Onabi was moving at. Onabi was also starting to sweat it was hard for Onabi to keep the gates open this long and it looked like it was going to fade somewhat soon and that might be painful. His elders eyes seemed to narrow in as Zunair figured out what to do next, Onabi watched as zunair dashed forward to give a ten meter gap inbetween them and a deep purple rolling fog started to cone out in front of zunair seeing this Onabi took a deep breath before the gas got to him and he dashed in closing the 10 meter gap Onabis eyes watered as he went through the opaque fog. Onabis form changed back to what he planned for his first strike. Onabis body moved into a deep crouch as one arm raised up and the other almost touched the dirt. at the new burst of speed of 220 Onabis first strike slammed into the middle of Zunair's chest and the barrage of attacks began. two then four then eight, etc. Each set of strikes is done at an exponentially increasing pace and strength. slowly knocking his elder cousin farther and farther backward forcing both of them out of the fog an when they both are out Onabi took a deep breath. The barrage of attacks didn't seem to put his elder cousin down yet, salty beads of sweat started to fall from his brow using his own small body he quickly stepped around Zunair and with a sharp bsurge of chakra the second gate opened, and went to zunair to begin another attack again keeping 220 speed but this time his strength went up to 142. His fist crackled with the sparks of electricity that formed from his chakra he slammed his fist into the underside of Zunairs chin seeing that it had hosted him into the air (for 71 points of damage) but Onabi would be staying on the ground seeing and observing what zunair would do, and what his older cousins  next course of action would be, if zunair landed back to the ground Onabi would go for it and slam his fist into Zunair but if Zunair moved in a way that Onabi noticed as potentially dangerous he would flee to make sure he was safe.
