Karo found the newest mission of the day to be a rather breath of fresh air for a change now. It was the first time he was doing a D-Rank mission after all. Yet this was coming off of his own E-Rank mission of getting training for the purpose of patrolling the massive village that he lived at. It was made all the better with how alive the whole village felt about the Chunin exams. Something inside of him brimming with this air of genuine excitement over the next stage of how the Chunin exams would go. Karo had felt rather confident about it in the morning when he spoke to his parents about the results of the test itself. He still had not gotten back yet despite thinking that it shouldn’t take that long for them to grade a simple test like that. Yet he had a feeling that this would take until the whole entire exams were done until they finally got their results back. Which was a fair enough choice if anything. It just meant Karo had to wait longer for the results than once thought. Which didn’t annoy the boy at all, he seemed to be just cool with the idea that he even had test results in the first place and that it would take slightly longer than what everyone else was thinking. It wasn’t the worst thing in the world to wait for something to happen. Karo knew that quite well when it came to learning new things in the first place. Along with that he also knew that these next few missions should be a piece of cake for him and his own abilities. He just had to make it to the finish line, that’s what he always thought about, where something would finish and how he’d get there.
Yet Karo was surprised when, to his own surprise, the place he’d be patrolling was the ninja village headquarters. That certainly was a bit less room to walk around in compared to the openness of the sandy dunes of the village itself. Karo could only think that this was meant to simply be a test to see if anyone could report any kind of disturbances within the area or if there would actually be any disturbances as a result of being so close to the headquarters entirely. But Karo could only begin to walk around the large, massive plaza of people heading too and fro. Checking in and checking out of the headquarters in order to assign the more grueling missions that were tasked to people who had those famous flack jackets on their backs. Karo gazed upon a few notable characters and how their own missions seemed to have been doing well for most of the village in general. There definitely was an upkeep of good shinobi from within the walls of Suna itself. Which gave Karo a bit more to think about as potentially being one of these people in the near future. It was his goal to be a strong person, but would that truly satisfy some people like him? He knew he was a bit lazy, unambitious in a few key areas. But now it was his chance to actually prove himself to the world and make a damn fine job of it too. So what did it matter if he didn’t win, he’d just try again the following chunin exams until he eventually got it right as a result. Karo would be thinking of all of these things while walking along the dusty roads of the village headquarters. Yet he couldn't find anything that so much as interested his eyes when it came to any kind of trouble. This place felt so barren in comparison to the rest of town. Simply a massive empty space where shinobi go across to one part of it and out the other. Like some kind of revolving door, it made Karo incredibly bored, as he couldn’t really pick out any kind of findings within the village itself. Just what else could he even do in regards to finding anything that was seen as a disturbance towards the village.
But maybe he could at least find some trouble on the outskirts of the village headquarters. That certainly could be a place where he’d find the most amount of people who could indeed cause some kind of trouble without causing too much suspicion inside of the village. Especially since some other shinobi would have to be out looking for them as a result of suspicious activity. So maybe Karo could find something that indeed could be beneficial and help him cure the boredom he felt at the mission itself. Especially as he began to hop around from place to place in an attempt to cover more ground and be on the lookout for anything else that could be seen as suspicious activity. Karo lightly jumped from place to place for better coverage of the land, as well as making sure he wasn’t noticed by jumping from roof to roof. What he did catch sight of was how strange people acted just outside of the borders of the ninja headquarters. Hearing whispers from inside of alleyways about trying to go after this one girl. Others shout about something to do with casting some kind of ninjutsu to impress another teacher at the academy. It was all so different then where he normally was, which was smack dab in the middle of a small road along the alleyways.
But all of this was very fascinating for Karo indeed. Something he could finally stick his teeth in and fully enjoy to his heart's content was all of the juicy info he was gathering as a result of the news spreading around each and every corner like wildfire. Certainly some people could be very loud even while trying to be secretive. Yet even then Karo began to take notes of what some people were saying and where people would go for it. It gave the red haired boy a lot of ammunition when it finally came time to head back towards the headquarters in order to redeem all that he had written down as a result of scouting out the outer rims of the headquarters space. Meaning he had loads more info then some others for his own time even. Yet after the notes were headed back and he saw that the mission had a small check mark etched itself into the mission's once blank box. He was free to go and deal with the second mission in mind. Yet this one was going to need a lot more care put into it then this one was.

Karo had to wonder why exactly some kind of kid would begin to wreak havoc onto the village itself. It felt slightly out of place for someone, especially a child to be such a menace to others inside of the sand village. Karo raised his eyebrow at the news that he would be the one to stop the kid from causing more and more trouble for the other village folk. But at least he could now focus on actually testing his new skills on others. Perhaps that Minus energy field would actually come in handy when it came time to deal with the child in question. His mind was thinking about whether or not the kid itself was a problem. Perhaps he could get information from the kid about why he was trying to make damages towards other villagers property and damage the morale of SUnagakure during a time of relative peace and happiness due to the exams coming about as a result of the fine new specimen that the village had to work with for Genin for this half years Chunin exams. Yet Karo could at least tell something was rather strange about this kid's behavior. Something that seemingly just tipped him off that something wasn’t right about any of this. Especially when he came upon the sight of seemingly another piece of “art” that the child had done towards a small local restaurant that Karo would use to stop by at. But that’s not what was concerning about it, it was what was said on it that genuinely made him feel like this child might have been in an awful place at the moment. Karo could tell when someone was in an awful place, even when they didn’t show it, as this kid clearly demonstrated that he was currently not in the right state of mind. Karo immediately began the hunt in search of finding the kid and talking to him. It certainly would be a grueling process indeed to get anything out of the kid. But this wasn’t just about the mission anymore, it was about helping one of the many people who lived in Sunagakure.
“Anyone see where the kid went? Need to know so I can catch up to him?” Karo spoke to one of the many people gathered around the words that said, “This village took everything from me” Yet Karo could only tell that the kid was certainly not feeling right. Yet the person next to him immediately pointed towards the left of where the road headed and barked out towards Karo.
“The little shit went that way! He’s got golden locks that midget!” The old man shouted while pointing at the way for Karo to follow. To which the SHinobi thanked the man who gave the directions before immediately running around in search of the kid in question. He’d have to keenly be aware of the kid if he wanted to get him some place safe and sound so they could potentially talk with each other. But those words definitely lit up a light in his head about talking and asking the kid what was going on in his own life. It was the best way for people to cooperate and Karo could potentially help the kid with his own problems as a result of this. Karo however was not far from the running away Vagrant. Who heckled and ran around the village with a small paint brush in his hands. Which only tipped off the red haired shinobi even further that the kid itself was definitely going to get a mouth full from the shinobi for doing something like this. But he just hoped the kid had a good answer as to why he was acting this way.
Dashing from the tops of the roofs right where the kid was heading. Karo’s body moves in a blink of an eye due to the speed difference between him and the kid. He just wished he had a jutsu that could safely grab the kid in question. But alas he was going to have to use Minus energy field in order to stun the kid long enough for him to grab him and go away from the location of the mainstreets entirely. Focusing his chakra for a brief moment so that way he could stop the kid in his tracks with this one little debuff in question. It would be enough to stun him and stop the kid from moving for a small bit. To which Karo could then easily wrap him up in some rope and then begin to interrogate the kid about what he was doing and why he was doing it. That one thought replaying in his mind over and over again to make sure that he didn’t immediately hand him off to the police and not get this all sorted out.
So when the kid finally was in sight, Karo immediately hit him with the Minus energy field to help slow the kid down as they came tumbling to a halt with Karo closely following. They had dropped all of their paint and were drenched in the red and black colors along his own clothing. As the kid slowly began to get up, Karo immediately grabbed a rope that he had on hand and wrapped the kid up enough to where he wouldn’t move for a bit of time. So that meant he could actually begin to talk to the kid as the rest of the townsfolk began to shout and throw stuff at the child while Karo was holding onto them for support. Vanishing from sight again without so much as a care for the world with how everything else was going on. He just wanted to talk to the kid in question.
“So? Mind telling me why exactly you’ve been doing this stuff?” Karo questioned the kid while resting inside of one of the darker alleys. The child in question stared back at him with daggers while Karo had asked the question a few times already beforehand. Which only made this whole situation such a pain to talk with the kid in question. It seemed that he wasn’t going to talk unless Karo would give him something in return for it.
“Look, I’ll help you alright? Just tell me what’s bothering ya kid? I can tell some things bothering ya.”
Karo stared back at the kid with a caring stare. Knowing that the kid definitely had something hiding with how the kid's reaction was. He almost took a double take at what Karo had offered him in return for simply talking to him. In which the Kid responded with a small nod of his head. Karo liked that he was finally moving somewhere with the kid in question. Who also refused to tell his name to the Genin as well. But what Karo heard nearly broke his heart at how destroyed the kid sounded while giving the explanation as to why he was acting like this.
“D-dad died in action while his squad went to complete the mission…. Mom has been bed ridden as well for a while…. So I just-” The kid sighed as he didn’t really want to talk more about it. But that was all that Karo needed to know to help the kid itself as he’d take him out of the alleyway and towards where the village cops were. Leading him into the police station. Yet he’d tip off most of the police officers as to why this was happening, hoping that they’d be able to help the kid. As Karo knew he couldn’t until much later, so for now Karo’s only reassurance was a nod from a few of them before leaving the kid there. Giving a small smile before leaving.

I'm assuming you meant to link something showing the wc you've already allocated to cero because otherwise these claims do not add up. Additionally you've done your math wrong and the word count here is 2418 not 2448. Please make the adjustments and then let me know.
