The New Crew [IO]

The Sarutobi would watch as everything panned out before his very eyes. These foreign shinobi were an interesting group, one that Satoshi couldn't help but be impressed and a bit astounded by. They were both persuasive with their words and decisive with their actions. Satoshi couldn't help but agree with Kaito as he was offering his own words of wisdom to the bandits before freeing them from the powerful genjutsu they were in. Mercy could also be a strength, and in this case it managed to direct people away from the wrong path. 

Kaito would clean the blood from his eyes, bowing to Satoshi respectfully. The Sarutobi was very happy to hear that despite how it seemed it didn't bring any pain to the man. "I am glad to hear that, for any sort of technique that brings harsh damage to the user is a double edged weapon, no matter how powerful it may be. I just hope that it isn't causing harm that you have simple acclimated to in such a way that it is barely noticeable." He would look over to Noya, wondering if the man was also capable of such things and if he happened to know more about the topic. 

Before much else could be said on the topic, the bandit leader sheepishly tapped on Kaito's should in order to ask how he could repay the man's kindness. Satoshi would listen to the Uchiha, finding himself agreeing with the man again. Helping protect others was indeed a noble approach and one that would benefit their society as a whole. There were now that many less bandits and that many more defenders of the people. 

When the bandit mentioned not being able to control his chakra, Satoshi couldn't help but wonder if the clans were at fault for such a thing. They seemed to be very secluded and didn't share their teachings with the common man. The young man could do nothing beyond speculate as to why it was that the Sarutobi clan refused to teach others. Perhaps his clans elders didn't wish for the people to wield the power of chakra, for fear of their misusing it and bringing harm upon themselves? Or a less pleasant thought, perhaps the clan simply didn't want the 'peasantry' to ever be able to rise up against them and forcibly remove them from positions of authority. Satoshi couldn't help but feel like the former had to be the case if it were between the two options, though he was no doubt biased in his views. He didn't think of his clan as tyrannical or overbearing authority figures. No, they protected the people... 

Kaito would then offer his assistance in the matter of teaching the people and helping the land grow to rival the capabilities of even the great hidden villages of the lands across the sea. It didn't take long for Guren to also speak up, offering his assistance as well. Satoshi was honored that such high caliber shinobi were willing to try and help this land prosper, though he knew that such a decision was not purely theirs to make. 

"If it were entirely up to me, I would gladly agree to this proposition. Both of you have shown yourselves to be capable both in the art of ninjutsu but also in the art of compassion." Satoshi would look to Noya, "But such a decision is not mine to make. A meeting of the clans is in order, so that we can discuss this matter. Noya, would you be so kind as to bring the message to the Uchiha clan? I'll send word to the Sarutobi. All that would leave is contacting the Orochi..." He knew that the clans all had ways to contact one another, but was not very familiar with the details of how the Orochi were reached out to.

The lives of two people were in his hands. As he motioned his left hand to move up toward his chest and motion to create the half snake sign, he would see that the boss of the brigands had learned swiftly and smartly that he was not in control of the situation. They were. As he was about to move to draw, Noya's fingers would move to point at him and as he was about to activate his Mangekyou Sharingan, the other Uchiha would soon position himself behind him. The eyes of the Sharingan were always perceptive and Noya picked up on the faint traces of Spatial movement. He was curious as to which power of the Sharingan his eyes had manifested but now was no time to dwell in curiosity. The thug leader would give up but Noya was not so forgiving to just simply let things be. However, it would seem as if the situation would be ripped from his hands as the other Uchiha had broken the two barely breathing brigands out of his genjutsu. An audible sigh of annoyment escaped his lips as his eyes reverted back to their crystalline blue color as he looked at Kaito," If I wanted them dead they would be dead. This will and IS their only warning. Try anything in these lands again and i'll make sure you experience a death that will last for an eternity," if anything he was annoyed they even allowed these...cretins to live, but to cultivate a land they would need more people. For once, and only this once he would bend and it would be the one time they would see him be "generous". As the two men slowly started to regulate their breathing he would take notice that it seemed as if Kaito had unlocked his own Mangekyou Sharingan and used it haphazardly. That annoyed Noya a bit but that was not his cross to bear.

Seeing that something was coming of this, he would notice Satoshi looking over to him, asking if he could broker a meeting between the Uchiha. There was a shrug as he brought his hands back down to his side," Sure even though i'm considered the "Elder" of the council it will be a short meeting. I will let you know of our decision on the morrow. As for the Orochi? Leave that to me. I know of a place where they meet occasionally and it should not take me long to bring the news to them....if they accept," he knew of them to be reclusive and elusive, but nothing stayed out of his eyes for long. As he turned on his heels to notify his clansmen and then set out on a small journey to the meeting area of the Orochi he would his head only slightly to have both Kaito and Guren in his sights," Do not make us grow to regret this decision...," the words were not hostile, but they were with purpose to make sure a false promise was not being given. Hope was dangerous and false hope was even worse. As he began to walk off he would look to the East toward his home, knowing this would be a change that might have been needed.
