Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Mon Jun 19, 2023 8:44 am
It was raining heavily with thunderous clouds all around the village. Hanzo woke up to the sound of the thunder. As he slowly opened his eyes towards the window, he saw a huge lightning which then was followed by a loud thunder. Most Uchiha members are focused on Fire Element, while his main element was Lightning. The young Uchiha had recently learnt Genjutsu Release at the Advanced Training Facility. “I already have a counter for Genjutsu, but I do not have any offensive technique that I can use as of now, I need a strong technique that resonates with me” he thought to himself. The young and curious Genin wandered around his house and took out his reading materials and scrolls. He scrolled through them and found a technique that suited him. It was a famous assassination technique that was created specifically as a one hit kill attack. It was called Chidori. Hanzo carefully studied the hand seals which were Monkey → Dragon → Rat → Bird → Ox  / → Snake → Monkey. He understood that the technique requires him to travel in a straight line when utilizing the Chidori due to the speed. He could not really understand why that would be a disadvantage but decided to learn it anyway. Since he has not awakened his Sharingan yet, he thought that his visual prowess might help him with the technique in the future.

Determined to learn the technique, Hanzo left his home and walked towards the Advanced Training Facility, a special training facility of his village. He entered towards the training area. As a warm up, Hanzo ran a few laps around before stretching. Now, it was time to start training the technique. He performed the necessary hand seals with both hands and initiated the technique in his left hand. A slight spark of lightning appeared and vanished. “Did I do it wrongly” he thought to himself, trying to recollect his memories. He once again performed the necessary hand seals and initiated the technique by putting his chakra in his left hand. A small spark transformed into a noisy light blue colored chakra with lightning. This is when he realised why the name Chidori was given, it was due to the noise of technique which sounds familiar to a thousand birds chirping together in resonance. But within a few seconds the chirping stopped and his technique ended. He understood that he had input a small amount of chakra, thus limiting the strength of the technique. One after another, he slowly increased the amount of chakra pushed into the technique, making the Chidori brighter and stronger. He could feel himself getting weaker with constant training with this technique. The young Genin understood that when this technique is used at its strongest, he can not use it a lot of times and can only be used when it is absolutely required. With a lot of sweats dripping from his forehead, he wanted to take a break for a few minutes before starting again.

Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Re: Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Mon Jun 19, 2023 12:53 pm
Zidane awoke in his brother Guren's house, greeted by the sound of rain pouring outside. It was a stormy morning, and the gray clouds seemed to match his gloomy mood. As a genome, Zidane was created as an exact replica of Guren, sharing his physical appearance and abilities, yet much younger. However, despite possessing the same genetic potential, Zidane often felt stagnant in his learning. In comparison to his creator and brother Guren, he had a long way to go before he could surpass him; though he was determined to train intensely. But on days like these, training outside sounded miserable. Ever since the storm had trapped him indoors, Zidane had grown restless. He longed to be out in the world, honing his skills with the katana that he was given by his brother with such reverence. The freshly built advanced training facility, situated not far from their home in the residential district, called out to him like a beacon of opportunity. Zidane knew that if he stayed cooped up in the house, he would never overcome the feeling of stagnation.

With determination flickering in his eyes, Zidane made up his mind. He would defy the storm and venture out to the training facility, despite feeling under the weather. Donning his sleek  turquoise yukata and grey harem pants, he'd slide on his white sash before draping himself in his salmon colored shitagi. Finally he slung his sheathed katana across his back and stepped out into the tempest. As Zidane walked through the rain-soaked streets of Otagakure, each step heavy with purpose, he felt a fragment of energy returning to his spirit. The sound of thunder boomed overhead, matching the rhythm of his heart. Though the streets were clear of civilians, the world around him felt like it was coming alive. It was a contrast to the stillness of being in his home as every aspect of the storm felt living, invigorating his senses. Though trekking through a downpour, Zidane knew that overcoming the storm outside would help him overcome the storm within himself. And this was confirmed by the feeling of satisfaction as he saw the newly constructed advanced training facility; a sign outside of it, with illumination cutting through the visage of the torrent: "Now Open"

And so eagerly arrive at the advanced training facility, Zidane was met with the familiar metallic scent of sweat and ambition. The facility hummed with activity despite the storm outside. Fellow shinobi, each honing their skills, inspired him. The energy in the air was palpable, urging him to push past his limitations. He'd make his way up to the reception desk, flashing his ID card, and then making his way past her to find an unoccupied training area. Once there, Zidane unsheathed his katana. Gripping the hilt tightly, he began a series of precise and graceful movements. Each swing, parry, and thrust flowed effortlessly from his body. He lost himself in the dance of combat, his worries and doubts dissipating like mist. Though the motion of the Katana felt natural and practical, in a sense he longed to try out different types of weapons. This thought was stemmed from the promise of his brother, to find Zidane a weapon that suited his essence. Regardless though, he continued his ballad with his blade.

As Zidane practiced, his stagnant feelings gradually faded away. The katana became an extension of his being, each movement filled with purpose and intent. The storm outside mirrored the intensity of his training, as if nature itself recognized the growth taking place within him. Hours passed, and Zidane's body glistened with sweat. Fatigue threatened to overtake him, but he pushed himself further, determined to break through his self-imposed limitations. With each swing of the katana, he grew more confident, more in tune with his true potential.

Finally, Zidane sheathed his katana. His body slightly ached, but his spirit soared. He had faced his stagnation head-on, defying the gloomy weather and his own doubts. The advanced training facility had become a sanctuary of growth, helping him discover yet another path to his purpose. He would remember this place, and surely look to make a habit out of visiting it. And Zidane's reflection on his day thus far holistically ensured him that even in the darkest of times, there was always a glimmer of light waiting to be discovered.

And there was always something to be discovered.

As luck would have it, his ears would be met with the sound of singeing lightning and the voice of another shinobi, presumably a male, similar in age by the sounds of it. Zidane would turn to exit from his training area, and traced the sound back to a separate training area. Here, he would see another person that seemed to have just undergone some rigorous training of his own. He was a white haired shinobi, taller and stockier than Zidane, dressed in a navy robe and coupled with a white shawl. From the stance of his stature as well as the hand seals he displayed, Zidane assumed that this person was a practitioner of Ninjutsu, a field that Zidane was interested in. Recognizing that he may have felt fatigued from his own regiment, the Genome would intervened. He called out from his position of standing at the threshold of the room the ninjutsu novice was performing it.

"Surely you have more in the tank." His voice was unwavering, focused, yet soft; sort of a testament to his own personality. His face had been relatively emotionless, with his beady brown eyes concentrated on the frame of the shinobi before him.

Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Re: Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Mon Jun 19, 2023 1:38 pm
After resting a bit, Hanzo wiped his sweat from his forehead and stood up determined to accomplish his technique. He felt confident that he would be able to complete his first attack based technique before the day ends. With fire in his heart, he took a deep breath. The young Uchiha adjusted his robes and stood ready to continue his training. Just as he was about to initiate his technique, he heard a voice calling him out from the threshold of the room. He turned to see an unfamiliar face with a blank expression that started the conversation. Due to Hanzo's cautious nature, he thought that this curly haired swordsman was spying on himself and the technique he was learning. Once he saw the headband on the swordsman, he lowered his guard as it was his fellow villager.

"I can go all day long" Hanzo replied calmly yet with a subtle smirk. "I see that you are a swordsman and I could slightly hear your sharp swings from further away when you were training, you must be strong" the young Uchiha said while facing him directly. Hanzo understood that the person in front of him wasn't weak at all. Hanzo's competitive nature gradually took over him, "Maybe one day, we can have a sparring match, which would surely be fun!". My name is "Hanzo Uchiha, what about you?" He voiced pride in his clan's heritage.

In the back of the young Genin's mind, this curly haired swordsman looked familiar, but wasn't able to exactly identify who he looked like. He didn't want to be rude, so he kept quiet. "You would have already seen what I was trying to do, I'm learning the Chidori at the moment. Time for Round 2, hopefully, you will see it. Be prepared, it's about to get noisy" Hanzo declared.

The spirited Uchiha took his stance, performed the necessary hand seals with both hands and initiated the technique in his left hand with a huge amount of chakra. The Chidori was super bright and powerful with the loud chirping noise. "How does it look ?" Hanzo uttered with a smile.

Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Re: Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Tue Jun 20, 2023 1:05 pm
As he called out to the shinobi practicing his ninjutsu, Zidane shifted his body weight in place so that it was more focused on his left foot. He'd lean over at the same time, resting his left shoulder upon the side frame of the tall doorway. From this position he could see not just the shinobi before him, but the setting of the room as well. At first glance it was notably different from the one that the Genome had previously been training in. In contrast, Zidane's was much more confined with dimensions of roughly 5 meters in width, length, and height. This suited him well, as he had been new to not only this world but the way of the shinobi. And so practically, all he needed was a bit of space to get used to his blade. But the room that he was staring within now was much larger, roughly 5 times larger to be exact. And such an observation made Zidane curious, evident by his raised brow. Just why exactly was such a large room chosen by this one? Perhaps the scale of his power was much larger, and so it was safer?

But Zidane's rapid succession of thoughts had quickly came to an end, when the initially alarmed shinobi lowered his guard to retort to the Genome's inquiry. As any shinobi would, he spoke of his own resolve and endurance, confidently at that. Though it made Zidane wonder what his own reserves were like. Yet just as he began to somewhat doubt his potential, the ninjutsu practitioner made an inference about the Genome's power. Unsure of the proper social queues in a situation like this, he thought on how Guren would react. Folding his arms across his chest, he'd let out a slight breath which alleviated his stimulated thoughts. "There's always stronger. That's why we're both here, right?"

Upon responding with this, Zidane felt relieved that he had thought of an appropriate response. Only a few days fresh into this world, he was still establishing a personality that was uniquely his. Though every now and then, he needed to take a page from his brother's book. There was a brief period of silence following his question, to which the shinobi in front of him would proudly issue a challenge to the Genome. And with that, a feeling would stir up in the wells of the Chinoike's stomach. "What is this?" he thought while inconspicuously sliding his left arm down from his chest to brace his stomach while his right hand maneuver to grab ahold of the back of his own neck. It felt like his stomach had bee full of air, "...excitement maybe?"

Without much time to respond, he'd receive the name of the white haired shinobi: Hanzo...Uchiha. Guren had informed Zidane little about different clans and their bloodlines, yet did not go much into depth. All Zidane understood about the clan name was that they were some of the pioneers of Otogakure, and they were of the Sharingan. He'd softly scratch the back of his neck with his right hand, and with a half smile he'd respond.

"A challenge sounds fun indeed. As for me, I am Zidane. Zidane Chinoike," he clarified at the end, almost as if he forgot his own surname. With introductions and formalities out of the way, the conversation segued into one focused on the subject at hand: training. It seemed as if this Hanzo was trying to practice and perfect his Chidori, a technique that Zidane was unfamiliar with. Standing profoundly in the middle of the room, the Uchiha performed several hand seals and resultantly produced what looked to be a ball of lightning in the palm of his hands. Its sound was characteristic of a bird's song. Not just one, but almost as if it were hundreds and all singing different songs. Its high pitch and the lightning's blinding light were near sensory overload for the Genome, who would respond with raising his left hand from his stomach to his eye level. He'd turn his head down slightly, allowing his eyes a break from the illumination, before returning his focus on Hanzo.

"That's pretty amazing. How long have you practiced that, and how did you learn it?"

Zidane himself knew that scrolls and teachers were the most common forms of learning jutsu, though he himself had neither. Sure, he could reach out to Guren about learning ninjutsu...though he did not have a bukijutsu master to study under. This thought made him consider seeking out one though, as if he were to spar Hanzo without learning properly from sensei, he'd surely fail.

Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Re: Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Wed Jun 21, 2023 9:38 am
While maintaining the Chidori, Hanzo was wondering what the Chinoike Clan was about. He had never heard of the said clan before. He couldn't figure out anyone associated with that clan as well. Maybe he was fatigued. As the young Uchiha dispersed the technique, he answered Zidane "I just started practicing it today and surprisingly I managed to pull it off". He cracked his hands and replied "I learnt it by researching a few techniques and found this as it resonated with me, not sure why though but it felt right".

He turned his face towards the young swordsman, “Chinoike ? What’s that about ?” with a genuine curiosity. Do they also have special techniques or visual prowess similar to his clan? he wondered.

The young Uchiha cracked his head and let out a deep breath. He sat on the ground with his legs stretched out with his hands holding his weight from the back. "As you know, we, the Uchiha, are famous for our scarlet eyes. Unfortunately, I have yet to awaken it. So, while waiting for my awakening, I wanted a good technique that could compliment me in the meanwhile".

Hanzo took this opportunity to completely observe the swordsman. He saw the sword on the back of Zidane and asked "What kind of sword is that ?". He was curious to see if Zidane would be willing to share details of his sword skills. The Genin stood up and dusted off his clothes. The young Uchiha wanted to test out his new technique albeit with low chakra force, just to get a feel of it when using it towards another person. Just as he was thinking of it, out of nowhere, his superiority and inferiority complex hit him in the face.

Inferiority Complex: What if I miss the attack, would he think that I am weak ?! What if doing the attack, I slip and fall, embarrassing myself. What if his sword technique overpowers my technique and I get hurt ?

Superiority Complex: With my new technique and my amazing chakra, I might actually kill him. Maybe he will feel pain ... strangely this ruthless thought triggered a spark in his brain, unknown to him making his blood vessels in his eyes slightly visible.

He immediately came out of his complex zone. "Sorry, I had a small headache. Anyways, would you be cool if I could try to use this technique towards you and you can try dodging or attacking me with your sword, I just want to test it out to see the difference without my Sharingan". Hanzo walked towards the opposite side of the huge room and jokingly said "Don't kill me" and laughed while being ready in his stance.

Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Re: Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Wed Jun 21, 2023 10:21 am
For someone to first discover a technique, decide to practice it, and come close to learning it all within the span of a few hours was quite impressive to Zidane. He himself had ambition, drive, and motivation but no clear direction on what specifically to learn. And so his intentions of coming to the Advanced Training Facility today did not have a specific end goal in mind. Instead, he just sought to refine his rhythm with his newfound blade. Although it rested neatly in its sheathe upon Zidane's back, it would be receiving some attention shortly.

Though before that and upon hearing the word "research", Zidane's face sort of contorted into one of confusion. It had been a term he was unfamiliar with, though based on the context provided by Hanzo, the Chinoike associated its meaning with learning about something. Perhaps he should conduct his own research on techniques of the Bukijutsu specialty. His facial expression would revert to one of no emotion though when asked about his Clan, as he felt no sort of passion behind it just yet. So far it had been nothing more than a title to Zidane, as he had not awoken any aspect of it yet. Though his brother Guren, seemed to be quite the commander of it.

Lowering his arms and stuffing his hands into his pocket, Zidane would close his eyes momentarily and shrug in response to Hanzo. "I don't know, really. My brother told me it's for me to discover myself, just as he had to do so himself. Thought about doing some...research, as you say in the library. Maybe later today...or tomorrow even. The walk from here to the library might be too torrential." The conclusion of his words were instantly met with the resounding boom of thunder outside the facility. It made the hairs on the back of his neck stand, but it was not loud enough to make him jump.

His response was nonchalant but honest, though he figured it might be a bit underwhelming to Hanzo. Especially considering that after sitting, the shinobi before him seemed to speak proudly of his Uchiha heritage. Though beyond the surface level knowledge that he offered, it seemed as if he might be in a similar boat as Zidane. "Yeah...awakening is a good word for it. I apparently need to do the same with the bloodlines and DNA in my own body." If Hanzo was as observant as Zidane, he would have paid key attention to the fact that the word "bloodlines" implied there were multiple within Zidane. Though if prodded further on what exactly they were, he'd be met with a similar response that Zidane had regarding his natural Chinoike heritage.

Should the conversation transition into Zidane's blade, he'd give a slight nod at the recognition of his sword. Raising his right hand over its respective shoulder, the Chinoike would firmly grasp the hilt of his blade. In a swift motion, he'd pull his hand up and outwards to draw the blade from its resting place then elegantly lower his arm down to his side while pointing his hand and the blade 45 degrees out from his body. The entire motion was fluid, a testament to today's training, so much so that it produced a chilling *shing* as it was drawn from the sheath.

"It's a basic katana...I think I have an affinity for weapons, so I've been practicing with this until I can find a weapon that..." he paused as he recalled his brother's words, "suits my essence." Quite clearly, that phrase had been rehearsed as it wouldn't reflect Zidane's natural tonality. He himself did not comprehend what exactly it meant, but perhaps his trip to the library would educate him on weapons and how to select a style of them. With his blade in his hand, he'd calmly walk over to Hanzo and raise it so that the blade was horizontal and parallel with his own chest, allowing for Hanzo to take a better look at it as he stood from his resting position. Assuming the Uchiha had seen enough, Zidane would swiftly lower his katana back to his side while keeping his left hand free. Now within 10 meters of the other shinobi, he could better tell that there had been something on his mind; evident by the expression he bore while reflecting in thought. Zidane initially assumed that Hanzo was thinking more on the Chinoike's blade, though what came from his mouth next was only a partial confirmation of Zidane's assumption.

It seemed as if Hanzo wanted to try out his Chidori technique on Zidane, encouraging him to dodge or attack his combatant as he neared him. This seemed fair, though the Chinoike was quite unequipped to handle any true threat at the moment. Though he'd try his best.

"I think that sounds beneficial for the both of us. And worry not, I am a novice with this blade," he said while offering a slight chuckle at the final comment from the Uchiha. He too would ready his own stance, placing his left foot forward as his pivot and retreating his right foot backwards as his anchor. He'd grip both hands upon the katana's hilt and raise it so that the blade was pointed directly at Hanzo yet parallel and horizontal with his own eye level. In a relaxed fashion, he'd slightly bend his knees and lean backwards and offered a reassuring half smile at his temporary adversary. "This distance of roughly 10 meters between us should be fair for the both of us...So come at me then."

Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Re: Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Wed Jun 21, 2023 11:16 am
As the young Uchiha was ready in his stance, he recalled his combatant saying the word Bloodlines. He wasn't sure if he had more than one or was a simple mistake. This swordsman is raising my curiosity level. Nonetheless, Hanzo was ready to test out his technique. He performed the necessary hand seals and pushed his left downwards while his right hand supported it. As he let out his chakra, a bright blue light flashed upon his hand with the noisy chirping noise. He kept his chakra at a minimum level, just enough to maintain the Chidori as he was already tired from the constant training.

As the electric buzz formed, the young Genin focused his eyes on Zidane, who was standing 10 meters from him. Hanzo didn't take the young swordsman's word of being a novice, due to his overly cautious behavior. He could see Zidane's katana pointed at him in an angle that made the young Uchiha excited. The Uchiha could feel the adrenaline rush in his bloodstream, it was his first combat, even though it was just a sparring session.

The Uchiha pushed right foot so hard on the floor that it made an impression, just as he took off bolting towards his opponent. Hanzo's hair flew in the air, he could feel the wind pressure towards himself due to his speed. The Chidori was making a wreck on the floor as he was running with it, tearing and damaging the floor tiles. As the technique requires him to go through a straight line, that's the first time he caught the tunnel vision. The blood rush made his brain think so much fast that he understood he couldn't simply redirect or navigate the Chidori elsewhere if there was a counter attack. He acknowledged the flaw of the technique that he was training the whole day. By awakening his Sharingan, he understood that he can overcome this flaw easily and would also increase his chances of making the technique deadly.

Nonetheless, he went straight ahead to fully observe his own potential and his opponent who was dead focused on him. At just a few meters away, he could see that his opponent was ready for him. Hanzo increased his speed even further, removed his supporting right hand and thrusted his left hand filled with lightning, straight to the middle of the young swordsman's torso.

Whether or not Zidane dodged it, would be up to him.

Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK] Empty Re: Left Hand of the Devil [Open, NK]

Wed Jun 21, 2023 12:00 pm
With both participants in their respective stances and positions, a short termed silence would ensue within the room. The only breaks in the silence would be from the soft breaths of each individual, as well as the faint rumbles of distant thunder. During this period, Zidane would fixate his vision to be locked in on the hands of his opponent. With the advantage of seeing how the technique was performed from Hanzo's previous display, he was aware of the general motions of the technique. It began with channeling lightning chakra to one's palm, using the hand of the opposing arm as a support. And it was followed up by an aggressive dash that could result in catastrophic damage. So nicely enough, the Chinoike knew what he was up against. However that did not mean that he'd be any more able to counter it.

As he stood facing his opponent, the sharp part of his blade was facing the top of the room with its tip pointed at Hanzo. And after a series of hand seals, the Uchiha was off. With haste, he'd begin to rapidly rush towards the Genome, seemingly hellbent on piercing his torso. And truthfully, it was seeming increasingly more likely. His speed had started off quite observable, though quickly reached a point where it was difficult to follow. Once a distance of 7 meters had been reached between the two, Zidane took a deep breath, blocking out the sound of the incessant bird chirping. He'd exhale, and lighten the amount of body weight he had been pivoting on his left foot. This shift allowed for his right foot to become the dominant, pivot foot while his left would be more mobile. Once a distance of 5 meters existed between the two, Zidane would begin his movements. Though currently his base speed was slower than the movement speed of Hanzo, he unknowingly had two benefits working for him: foresight as he knew what to expect, and a clear view of the entire battlefield.

With a subtle counter clock wise spin, he'd push off the ground with his left foot and spin  using his right foot as the pivoting point of motion. In that same maneuver, he'd adjust his left foot so that it would allow him to reposition himself half a meter laterally and to the right of his previous standing point. When the spin and adjustment were concluded, he'd continue to exhibit his aforementioned stance, though now his body and blade would be facing perpendicularly to the path that Hanzo was on. The maneuver itself was not quick, but was well timed enough so that he'd be standing half a meter to the right of Hanzo's trajectory, with his body out of harm's way. At this point, the distance between the two had been reduced to just over 3 meters.

With a subtle shift in his hands, which still pointed the blade outward, Zidane would flip his blade in hand so that the dull side was now facing the ceiling of the room. And at the same time he would slightly lower his hands so that the blade was now situated just below his chest height, where the incoming chidori was focused on. At this point, Hanzo's extended chidori had been just 2 meters away. Now he was removing his supporting hand from the one wielding the chidori. Zidane was astounded at Hanzo's suddenly enhanced speed, but felt wise in his precautious and proactive approach to dodging the attack before it was too close. And so as the chidori's aura passed just a few centimeters overtop of the the dull side of the katana, Zidane would flick his wrists up, maneuvering the dull side of the blade to smack against Hanzo's extended elbow, diverting the path of the chidori to go in an upwards fashion. After this point of contact, Zidane would swiftly retreat his blade and take another half meter step backwards, further separating himself from Hanzo in the case that the Uchiha could not cancel his technique after it had been evaded and then deflected. Though if Hanzo continued his momentum without canceling his technique, his chidori would eventually collide with the wall of the room which was only 2.5 meters from the point of Zidane's dodge.

When he was successfully out of harm's reach and either the chidori was canceled or impacted with the wall, he'd let out a soft sigh of relief while sheathing his blade. He'd revert from his battle stance to one that was upright and calm.

"That was close...You really put some power in that, huh?"

Hanzo was surprised that Zidane easily countered his Chidori by simply redirecting it with the dull side of his sword. The young Uchiha was taken aback that if this had been a legit battle, he would have seriously injured his arm or at worst lost his arm to the technique he was trying to perfect the whole day. The swordsman immediately took a step back separating them. Still in shock that he could have been badly injured, he lost control of his momentum and stumbled directly into the wall that was 2.5 meters away. The Chidori was speared through the wall, which left a hole the side of his fist and went all the way in, with only his elbow outside of the hole. In that split second, he observed two very important details of this combat exchange. Firstly, the lightning technique is strong enough to make good damage even with Hanzo using minimal chakra. If he had used more chakra, the damage would have been devastating. Secondly, the flaw of the technique was a major drawback to the damage. A good counter to the tunnel vision was heavily required, which means he absolutely needed to awaken his Sharingan.

The Uchiha turned to his opponent, "That wasn't even half of my strength, but I'm glad to see that this technique has great potential and damage. Thanks to you, now I understand the flaw of it as well". The young Genin was impressed by the swordsman's maneuvering during their session. He made a note on the back of his mind to train harder and to get to know his fellow villager more. Hanzo extended his right hand to give a handshake to his new found friend as an acknowledgement and voiced politely "We shall do this again sometime". Hanzo left the Advanced Training Facility and walked back home. The only thing in his mind was power and the ways to obtain it. As he reached his doorstep, he remembered that he forgot to ask about the bloodlines stuff the swordsman spoke about. He thought to himself, I'll ask him the next time round.

And just like that, the bout was over. Though no without extraordinary damage done to the wall of the newly constructed facility. Immediately, the juvenile side of Zidane's personality came out when he immediately felt the urge to flee the scene. But he reminded himself that he was in a training facility. They needed to plan for things like this within the budget, as shinobi of all caliber were poised to practice here. And two lowly genin damaging a wall might be a drop in a bucket when compared to someone like the Otokage ripping the roof off the building. And so the tension which looked to surmount in his shoulders immediately alleviated, right when Hanzo was pulling his arm from the hole he ripped through the wall. He then turned to Zidane, and seemingly thanked him for revealing the vulnerability in his technique. Zidane though, was oblivious to the fact that he had even done so. He had only intended to analyze the technique thoroughly and prepare a response to preserve himself. Though, it was nice to feel appreciated by another.

With a smile and an extended hand, he'd shake that of Hanzo and offer him a reassuring nod. "Yes, let's make this a regular thing."

Though his intention was to come to the advanced training facility to learn how to use his blade, he came out achieving much more than that. It seemed as if he had potentially made a...friend, or a rival depending on the genin's mentality. He'd watch the genin depart from the room, assumingly to exit from the facility as well. Though he himself would remain behind to continue his training. He felt as if there were a fire lit within him, as if a well of energy had been emerging deep inside his chakra reserves that were stimulated by the adrenaline of combat. Little did he know, there was much more at work than just that...
