Late Night Customers!!

Junko would pick up her glass and bring it to her lips once more as the conversation shifted to Akabayashi’s dojutsu. Though she was interested in his abilities, she was sure he wouldn’t be giving out any information that was too juicy. She’d listen to their words though not speak up herself since she wanted to see where the conversation was going. Junko found herself rather curious about the ambitions that Kagu spoke of. After all, he wasn’t a member of the village quite yet, and although she had many backing her she couldn’t help but feel weary about the man.

Her gaze would shift from the conversation to wandering amongst the walls as she seemingly was lost in thought. Junko’s mind began to think about all the things that still needed to be done within the village, the various small details that called her attention at every waking moment. She recalled the rather large pile of paperwork that sat on her desk, no matter how much she attended to it, it seemingly grew larger by the day. As her mind raced, her thumb would gently rub the glass she held in her hand before taking another small sip and placing it on the bar once more.

Returning her attention to the men before her, she continued to listen to their discussion. Though she had hoped that she’d be able to spend some alone time with Akabyashi on their date, she knew there would be time for them to get to know each other more after their departure so she didn’t mind. It was nice to get out of the office, to see the people living in her meticulously crafted village. However, she knew she wouldn’t be able to indulge herself in such activities frequently since she had other things to attend to.

"It's fine..." he said, following the woman who had burst in with his eyes. He did not take too long to focus on her. His only wonder was why she had rushed here. She was likely to meet someone who was not here yet.

"Oh, I would never tell someone who was not ready. Most people don't reach a point where their eyes evolve," he would say, taking a drink of the wine. It requires many things that few can stomach. If your eyes begin to lose their light, your kage knows how to find me." He would say, acknowledging Junko's authority within the village and their new alliance.

"If that is acceptable to you, " He would say to Junko. He figured helping her ninja would not be seen as wrong. Though he was planning to make then swear to never tell anyone and if they did and he found out a hunt would begin. A deal with Kiri's kage was no laughing matter. He always fulfilled his end of a bargain; expecting others to do the same was natural.

"Hm, interesting words, Lord Mizukage. I'm sure my brother knows more about the eyes than I do. He awakened them before I did. Presently, we are around the same level of potential. But we will seek your services, as long as Junko is okay with it," waiting to see what their leader had to say regarding the Kage's proposition.

Daiki was sure there was some catch though. Very few did this much work, for nothing. What was the goal of the Mizukage? Or what did he have planned? He seemed to be a sophisticated man and one of great power. More than his brother and himself combined. Probably, even more powerful than their entire village. Sad to say, they were in the palm of his hand.

He wondered what a man like him had to do to become as strong as he was. Daiki was just starting as a ninja, to truly see such power present even just standing there was incredible.

The Mizukage would educate Kagu that most do not reach such a point where their eyes evolve to the same level as his own. This, of course, was enough to pique his interest. He knew that he wasn't anything special within his clan, but he was determined to make his body do whatever it took to acquire such power. "Understood. Should my eyes begin to withdraw their acuity? You shall be someone I reach out to. Thank you. If there is something you need within your village, I hope that I will be someone who can assist." He spoke calmly to the Mizukage. It was then that he realized that he hadn't responded to the Tsukikage when she brought up his work with her sister Kiko.

"My apologies, dear Tsukikage. My ambitions tend to get the better of my attention when it comes to the power of my clan and potential. I have worked with a darling woman named Kiko, and I appreciate your encouraging me to go to the village, which is quite intense. I wish to see this village at the same level as the other villages in our world. In regards to needing your assistance, I would like to ask that I have a meeting with you in the tower. I have some matters that I wish to discuss with you that involve the village at large and the Uchiha clan." He extended his hand towards Junko to shake her hand. He knew that she had walked away since she had said such things to him and he hoped she would forgive his inadequacies with their part of the conversation.

He realized that there was no need for him in this conversation. It seemed as though the Tsukikage hoped she would have time to herself with the Mizukage, something he understood. He grabbed his whiskey and nodded his head to them both. "I appreciate your words, Mizukage. I look forward to speaking with you again about the power within your eyes. I can stomach anything thrown toward me, so I believe that I shall be one of the few whose eyes evolve past what I have already evolved them to." He then turned his attention to the Tsukikage. "Thank you, madame Kage. I look forward to our dealings and the blending of our village, my clan, and the work we shall complete together. He raised his glass and voice, "To the progression of our great villages and the evolution of our joint initiative and the power therein." He drank his whiskey, finished it, and set it on the counter. "I bid you all a good night." He walked away from the bar and returned to the Uchiha district, ready for an early night back to bed.

Junko offered Akabayashi a nod as he inquired about her acceptance of the potential deal, indicating her agreeance. Though she already had a plan with Takehiko to do something similar, she didn’t need to go around running her mouth about it. Turning her attention to Daiki, she listened as he mentioned that his brother had advanced his first, but at the moment they were equal. Her gaze would then shift to Kagu as began to thank Akabayashi and offer any assistance should the Mizukage need it. This could be a concern if her new friend and ally ever ended up turning on her for some reason. However, she felt as if that was unlikely to occur and attempted to push those thoughts from her mind.

Continuing on, Kagu would then look to Junko and apologize for disregarding her remarks previously. To this, Junko would shake her head and seemingly wave off his concerns. After all, she understood why Akabayashi was his primary focus at that moment so she was unoffended by his potential transgression. He then would explain that he sought to raise the village to great heights, an ambition Junko shared with the man. Finishing off he’d offer Junko a rather simple request, a meeting in her office. With a warm and inviting smile across her face, she’d nod and reach out her hand to meet his.

”I’d be more than happy to meet with you! I’ll reach out to you after I look over my schedule so we can find a time that works for both of us. Though if something prior to that, please feel free to stop by the tower, my door is always open!”

She’d watch as he moved to pick up his drink and shift his attention once more to Akabayashi. Kagu would then say seemingly a few parting words to both him and Junko before raising his glass to the growth of both villages. She would follow his motion by raising her glass and taking a sip of wine. Standing from the bar, he then would wish them all a good night to which Junko would wish him the same, along with a small wave. Placing her now empty cup on the bar, she’d turn her gaze to Akabayashi and speak up once more.

”You’re truly too kind my dear, you’ve already provided me with so much, I only hope to be able to return such generosity.”

Junko would lean a bit closer to him and attempt to wrap her arm gently around his. If he allowed, her hand would rest loosely on his forearm as she then looked over towards Daiki. Jun had been staying with him for quite some time, and she hadn’t seen her sweet creation for roughly a month now. Though she knew that Jun had been seen throughout the village, she had yet to visit Junko since joining the ranks officially. Wondering if Daiki could give her a bit of information she decided to inquire about her “sister.”

”Daiki darling, you must tell me how things are going with Jun. I haven’t seen my dear sister in about a month, so I can only assume that the two of you have been rather busy. I heard she had taken up bartending for Darkside, is she still doing that? Perhaps I’ll have to come by some night while she’s on shift”

As she finished, she’d listen intently to his response if he provided one while taking one last sip from her glass, polishing off the remnants of the wine. Placing the cup in front of her once more, Junko’s siren eyes looked up to Daiki as he spoke, but as he finished, her gaze would move to Akabayashi.

”Oh! I forgot to mention that I have two sisters, their names are Jun and Kiko. I’m sure you’ll meet them at some point, they’re running around the village somewhere. Do you have any siblings?

Well at least he got permission to aid her ninja or what he assumed were her ninja. He did not feel the need to divulge clan secrets when there was no current purpose to do so. He would simply nod at Daiki's remark on the subject. As there was not much to say he offered help it was up to them on whether they should take it. The other Uchiha was more ambitious in his approach.

Not only was he accepting the aid, but offering himself to aid Akabayashi should he need it. It was clear before he mentioned speaking of his ambitions tended to overtake him. Oh yeah, this guy had ambitious written all over him. Without even knowing the cost he was ready to pay it for the power of the rinnegan. Akabayashi was certain he would be willing to do almost anything to accomplish it. "Well with determination like that I am sure little could stop you." He would take another drink of the wine, sipping it. After that Kutari would leave getting a wave from Akabayashi as he left.

"You give me too much credit, Junko. We are allies." He would say to her after she had called him kind. If they were not allies there would be two people in the room with no eyes. He would wrap his arm around hers as well. Using his left hand to sip the wine now that his other was occupied.

He would listen as Junko asked about her sister and listen to the response Daiki likely would give before the focus shifted back to him. "Jun and Kiko, I look forward to meeting them. I am an only child I'm afraid. I do have one annoying cousin." While Akabayashi was gone he probably took over the place as head of the Terumi clan.

"Night, Kagu," he said, waving to his brother.

"Oh, yes. She has been living here the last month or so," the man said shyly, speaking with the girl's older sister. "She has been learning to bartend from me. She has been doing a splendid job, she should be on shift tomorrow or the day after. I would have to check the schedule, but I can before you both leave."

"We have been very busy, to be frank. Getting this place up and running," he said, lifting both his hands wide towards the ceiling of Darkside. "And well getting to know her on a more personal level, shall we say. I'll be sure to let her know you stopped by and asked about her though," he said, smiling at the village leader sweetly.

Taking note of the two's back and forth in regards to Junko's two sisters, Jun and Kiko. Daiki noticed that her glass was empty.

"Mind if I fill that up for you again, Junko? Or you Akabayashi?" pointing with the mug he was cleaning, at the woman and man's drink.

Junko flashed Akabayashi a sweet smile as he mentioned their newly formed alliance and wrapped his arm around hers. Turning her attention to Daiki, she’d inquire about her dear sister and listen intently as he explained her situation. Though Junko wished for her clone to be working side by side with her, she knew that Jun wasn’t the type to be confined within an office. Admittedly she envied her “sister” and the freedom that she maintained on a regular basis. Nobody expected anything from her, and she was completely free to live her life as she saw fit.

She was happy to hear that Jun was at least maintaining some sort of job and had been able to form a bond with Joro. He seemingly was a good influence on her, and she hoped that he would continue to be. Junko would offer him a nod in agreement as he mentioned how busy they had been, both with tending to the bar and getting to know one another on a more “personal” level. Though she wasn’t too interested in hearing about their escapades, she was happy to hear that her clone had seemingly found herself a good match.

Turning back to Akabayashi she’d inform him of her two sisters, Jun and Kiko, then would listen as he explained that he was an only child. She’d let out a brief giggle as he mentioned his annoying cousin and shifted her attention to Daiki as he asked if they needed a refill. Thinking for a moment, Junko bobbed her head slightly from left to right before then answering.

”Well as amazing as it’s been to catch up, I think we’ll probably be on our way soon since there’s so much of the village left to show him. Before we head out though, I wouldn’t mind a shot before leaving, what do you think Akabayashi? I’m not too picky, so bring me whatever you think would taste best.”

If Akabayashi agreed, Junko would wait patiently for Daiki to pour them their drinks, occasionally glancing at her bodyguard who remained silently watching. Once he had finished, Junko would take the one-handed to her and raise it up to cheers with Akabayashi, and if Daiki had poured himself one, she’d clink glasses with him as well.

”May our companionship last forever.”

Briefly looking between the two men, she’d down her drink and licked her lips gently as she pulled the glass from her mouth.

Akabayashi would listen and agree to Junko's request of them taking a shot before leaving. "I will take whatever you recommend." He would say to Daiki. Once, they ahd their drinks Junko said she wanted their companionship to last forever, and she took in her drink. He was a little late drinking his as it hit his lips, he paused. This taste like markers smell. "Mmm good." Junko seemed to like it as she licked her lips. He would kiss her now if the excellent taste of whatever was in that glass wasn't in the way. Maybe it tasted better on her lips, but he would save it for later.

"It was good to meet you Daiki. He would say as he picked up his wine to rinse the taste of whatever was in the shot glass out of his mouth. How does Seto drink this all day? Akabayashi didn't feel anything from drinking usually Seto mumbled and fell over, but he also drank a lot more.

He would follow Junko wherever she lead him from this point.

Junko and Akabyashi then left. Daiki sat at the bar contemplating what he wanted to do in life. What he could see himself doing. Did he want a normal life, or the way of the ninja?
