Simple Smuggler

Mazoku has woken up in a settlement, inside of an inn where there is always constant noise...Mazoku heard people all over the place fighting and yelling, Mazoku didn't care that there was barely any law in this place he could get away with a lot here and wasn't worried about anyone standing up to him either...after waking up the inn he did his usual routine 
though he cut it short this time because he heard some stuff outside the inn he had to go check out. Once outside mazoku saw a circle of men all cheering and yelling. Mazoku had to go check it out and once upon the group, he squeezed his way through the crowd and saw two men fighting Mazoku couldn't help but be intrigued, he wanted to participate in the brawl of course... Mazoku watched as the two men traded blows back and forth... after another minute or two one man was knocked out and the other was deemed the winner... The crowd went nuts as everyone was cheering and yelling...A man stepped into the circle with a wad of money and started paying some people... He yelled out asking who was next! Mazoku stepped into the circle crazed with bloodlust and excitement he was ready to take on any challenger. After 2 minutes of standing in the circle, it looked as if no one wanted to challenge Mazoku when out of nowhere a ginormous man stepped into the circle... he must have stood 6,5 feet tall and weighed 250 lbs. Mazoku wasn't afraid though as he got even more excited and started smiling...

The fight was about to start and Mazoku got prepared to take a fighting stance with his hands up by his head he was ready to trade blows the giant man was also getting prepared but his hands did not raise to his head as though he wasn't worried about Mazoku...after 10 seconds of preparing a man yelled "Fight"  and the giant man started walking towards Mazoku... Mazoku stood his ground and waited for the man to get closer. Once the gap was closed Mazoku punched the man straight in the face...The giant man's nose had a stream of blood coming out of it and he took several steps back. Mazoku watched as the man retreated and started to approach him and punch him several times after another 5 or so punches the giant man collapsed and was out cold... The crowd went silent as Mazoku won the brawl... a man stepped into the circle ring and announced Mazoku as the winner but no one cheered and no money was handed out as no one bet on Mazoku to win. Mazoku laughed and walked away with some cash and headed back to the inn he was staying at when suddenly he was stopped. 

A random man stopped Mazoku he was dressed in a fancy suit and offered Mazoku a job to help him take some undisclosed products into a Village... Mazoku took a few seconds before responding with "What would I be paid and what kind of product are we talking about". The man responded with "The illegal kind and you would be compensated correctly"  Mazoku nodded in agreement and asked what time we would be leaving the settlement. The man told Mazoku to come to a warehouse in the settlement and we would leave from there. Mazoku nodded and headed back towards the inn. With the new job Mazoku just accepted he was ready to get some rest and relax a bit as he just got done fighting. He went into the room got undressed and laid down to ponder on the job and what he should expect. After a while Mazoku fell asleep waking up the next day around 7 am Mazoku performed his workout routine completely this time and got ready to head to the warehouse... Once at the warehouse he saw boxes what was in those boxes he had no idea but he didn't care as he wanted to get paid. 

After some time they finally left on a carriage filled with boxes he wondered how he was going to get them inside this village. While traveling towards the village which is 5 miles away he talked to the driver of the carriage and asked "What is the way you normally get into the village" The man responded "Normally a guard lets us in because we paid him off but he is no longer at the gate and we have no more contact with him" Mazoku thought that was interesting... the conversation died out with mazoku not responding... he was deep into thought when he finally sees a huge wall he thinks "this must be the village they want me to help smuggle stuff into looks pretty big" after a few minutes they get closer to the villages wall and it looks even more as impressive as it did from afar he is surprised to see that there is not many guards around actually there is barely any... The driver of the carriage says "That's weird this place normally has like 10 guards around why are there only two? "Mazoku prepares for anything that could go wrong at any point...

They approach the gate when they are stopped by the two men. They asked what type of cargo do you bring to us... the driver responded "The usual yield of saki" The guards nodded and let us through without even checking the cart or anything...Mazoku thought that was extremely weird  once inside the village, Mazoku spots many people but still barely any guards around he stops the carriage driver hops out, and says "I'm going to check around the village let's meet back up at the gate later"The driver nodded and continued driving the cart down the street... Mazoku started to walk around when he stopped by a local shop to talk to one of the employees that shop once inside the shop he walked up to the counter of the shop and asked: "Hello I have a few questions about the village as I'm an outsider, why is there, not many ninja guards or guards period?"  The shop owner responded "Well the head of this village has been Mia as no one has seen him and most of the guards" Mazoku thanked the man and left the shop he thought to himself self "Man that's so weird that a village leader would just disappear like that or stop coming around though it definitely makes it easier to smuggle stuff".  Mazoku started to wander around the village which was surprisingly  tamed and quiet... Mazoku found a noodle restaurant and decided to take a break and eat there... he ordered some beef ramen and ate it quickly as he was famished. Mazoku finished the ramen and left the noodle shop towards the gate again...

Along the way to the gate, he heard a commotion Mazoku started to head towards the commotion to see what it was about when he saw his carriage driver and another man with a knife pointed at him...Mazoku instantly went into motion and ended up behind the man with such speed one would think was inhuman...once Mazoku was behind the man he knocked him out with a single punch to the back of his head. The man collapsed to the ground. Mazoku laughed and looked at the carriage driver he said "Thanks that guy was trying to rob me and take the money if that were to happen the boss would kill me"  Mazoku nodded and said "No problem are you ready to leave this place?" and they both started to head towards the gate once more. Once at the gate, we were not stopped when leaving the driver looked over and smiled. Mazoku laughed and thought "This village has problems" An hour or so went by and mazoku was ready to end this whole thing... finally reaching the settlement where the warehouse was mazoku hopped out of the carriage and started to look at the carriage man and asked "where do I go to get my pay," the carriage man said in the back room... Mazoku started heading in that direction and entered the room and saw a man sitting there with a little box filled with money. Mazoku said "I'm here for my money" and was handed 2000 ryo happy with his pay Mazoku left the room and headed out of the warehouse. Mazoku then started to head towards the inn where his room was once reaching the inn and his room he laid down and went to sleep [exit]
