Infection Rising

Skill Name: Infection Rising | 感染の昇華 (Kansen no Shōka)

Appearance: Though there are no physical signs of its presence, those with microscopic vision would see the user's body teeming with virus particles, overwhelming specific cells and occasionally replacing their function entirely.

Backstory: Every faithful member of the Canopic Clan hosts a lethal virus within their body in a symbiotic relationship. However, some members can cultivate a greater concentration of these virus particles, allowing them to replace unnecessary cells and replicate at an unnatural rate. This enhanced cultivation leads to the rise of Infection Rising, a skill that unleashes the full potential of their viral symbiosis.
Effect: Through intense training and mastery over their virus, the user can generate large quantities of virus particles that would otherwise be impossible to summon. Contagion Counters represent these virus particles.

The user generates Contagion Counters at a rate of 1 per post, or 2 per post if the user possesses the Pureblood skill. These counters can be used to either cast Canopic jutsu that would otherwise be beyond the user's reach or to enhance them (specifics listed in each jutsu application). The user can hold up to 10 Contagion Counters at any given time.

Additionally, the user can forcibly transfer Contagion Counters to an opponent through techniques or physical contact. Only 1 Contagion Counter can be assigned per post via skin contact.

Contagion Counters start at 0 at the beginning of each topic. Once gained, they remain until expended, lost, or a new thread begins.
