D Rank: Help in the Hospital
Fri Jun 01, 2012 1:25 am
Nietzsche was on his way to a familiar place: the hospital. He was not hurt nor was he ill, but he was on a mission. Apparently the nurses were striking for higher pay so Nietzsche was dispatched to go help out around the hospital for a while. This mission was more a pleasure than work. He had never been in a real hospital for very long. He learned his medical jutsu in the field and lacked the “lab” experience gained by working in a hospital. Breaking from his thoughts Nietzsche shoved open the door to the hospital. The mist village did not have the greatest medical facilities, because you were excepted to come back victorious or dead, but overall the hospital was good enough. Though Nietzsche’s first impressions were not good. As he walked in he saw a long line of sick village people waiting in line to see the doctors. Near the front of the line Nietzsche saw an elderly man having a hard time getting up from his seat. Running over Nietzsche helped him up and brought him into the doctor’s room.
Upon entering the room the strong smell of disinfectant burned Nietzsche’s nose. The doctor yelled at him to get out. Nietzsche tried to explain that he was here to help, but he was pushed out of the room by a barrage of insults. Feeling slightly insulted Nietzsche backed up and waited for the doctor to be done. The old man finally opened the door with a large bandage around his head. Seeing his chance Nietzsche walked in and introduced himself to the doctor. The doctor promptly apologized. The doctor was quite surprised that Nietzsche was able to perform medical jutsu. The doctor assigned him to go to the other room across the hall and help heal any wounded with the help of the junior doctor in charge there.
Nietzsche walked over to the next room and opened the door. He was greeted by a long grey haired doctor who seemed to be thousands of years old. The old man greeted Nietzsche with a dismissive nod and continued work on healing a gash in a patient’s side. Once he was done healing the man the doctor came over and introduced himself as Dr.Hazang. Nietzsche found the name odd, but he couldn’t complain when the doctor put him to work healing the lesser wounds that came in. Nietzsche’s first patient was construction worker who had fallen on some rebar and had nasty wound in his left upper bicep. Nietzsche allowed the chakra to flow to his palms and his hands glowed green. The man’s wound started to close and after another minute the wound was closed. The man left the room with a warning not to stress his arm. The next couple hours started to blur past. He saw wounds of all sorts. From small pin pricks to large gapping wounds from god knows what. His last patient came in and sat down. He was a big burly man with three Kunai sticking out from his lower legs. Nietzsche gave the man some cloth to bite down on so he did not bite off his tongue. He then proceeded to pull out the kunai. Each wound seemed to grow a bit as he wrestled the kunai out; they were in there deep. Finally Nietzsche reached the healing part. His hands glowed green and the flesh started to knit itself back together. Smiling Nietzsche told the man he could go and nearly collapsed on the ground due to use of chakra. Pulling himself together Nietzsche said his farewells to Dr.Hazang; who thanked him kindly. Nietzsche then left the hospital to retune to the mission center. He had done a good job. Hopefully those nurses would stay on strike; Nietzsche really enjoyed working at the hospital. (word 636 D rank Mission Done )
