What happened (P, NK, Taro, Vret)

Vretyel saw it as it happened, as he walking up to the Hokages office to talk to the Hokage himself about his recent promotion to Jounin and his possible further promotion, he was a stong ninja and a great asset to the leaf, and in order of him to gain leverage to go visit other nations and get some times to go to the land of the monkeys for further training he needed these promotions.

As he was walking through the chambers he saw a man with a missing ninja headband of the leaf go into the Hokages office and steal something Valuable, a piece of paper of something that Vretyel did not know what. Vretyel immediately sprung into action, and saw that the man was clearly trying to get away. Vretyel ran as fast as he could to catch up, but he just could not, he was trying not to cause damage to the buildings, and the missing ninja was not. The chase got all the way to the village gates, where the man got through the gates and into the forest. Vretyel would have continued if he did not fall flat on his face from not seeing a tree branch. As Vretyel got up he saw the familiar face of another leaf comrade.

Taro had been going out to the forest to train his wood release jutsus. As of late he had been investing more time into training. Luckily he did not have a team to watch over, which gave him time to pursue his own missions. And in the past month or so the wood release had grown more and more interesting to Taro. Ever since he saw the Hokage heal a genin who's body was blown away with the healthy application of Senju DNA Taro had become more interested in all aspects of the Senju clan: offensive powers, defensive powers, and healing powers. Unfortunately the overarching nature of the wood release made it very hard to practice in any enclosed place such as the village. Also Taro was pretty sure that it would spook many of the villagers seeing as the wood release had brought destruction and death to the village hidden in the leaves. So in the end it was better that he was going out into the woods.

Though Taro did not not get too far into the woods when some ninja blew past him in a blast of speed. Not really paying that much attention Taro paid the occurrence no mind and continued on his way. At least he would had he not witnessed a rather humorous occurrence: a ninja, who Taro noticed was in fact Vretyel, had run into a tree branch and fallen flat on his face. Taro called out to him in a rather amused tone: "Hey Vretyel, watch where your going branches can be pretty dangerous." Taro half considered citing some fictitious statistic about the death by branches in a year, but thought better of it. He walked over to Vretyel and inquired further: "Where are you going in such a hurry anyway?" Taro half wondered if it had something to do with the person who ran by only a short while earlier, but didn't really seriously consider it after all what fool would try to out run a jounin like Vretyel?

"Damn it! I lost him." Vretyel said as he got up from hitting his head on the branch. It was unlike Vretyel to be this clumsy all the time, for some reason today was really clumsy compared to others, and now he just stood there, embarrassed in front of Taro Senju.

Now that Vretyel had throughly lost the other man, Vretyel decided that he would stop and rest for a bit, and tell Taro of the mission. In the time after the two first mission it had become customary for Vretyel to shake Taro's hand when he met him. This was out of mutual respect for the man, as the two of them had already done a successful S ranked mission together, and Taro had gained some of Vretyel's trust in the process.

"Hey Taro, I was running because I was on a mission of sorts, this leaf missing ninja stole some document from the Hokage, my guess is that he on his way to the last of the splinter camps still around from when we took down all of those crime bosses, do you happen to remember where it was?" Vretyel was referring to the first mission that Taro and Vretyel did together, where the two of them successfully took down a group of high ranking thug leaders by exploding them in their casino. Since then all but one of the groups has been destroyed, and this one would most definitely be the place where the hidden documents would be at. Vretyel would hope that Taro would know the answer to that question that way they can go on the mission and get back the document before it was lost.

"If we do the mission, I am sure that we will also get some ryo out doing it, so are you in?"

Nero was lurking in the village... He had no purpose for the day, no plan he had in mind nor friends around who would train or do stuff with him... He decided to go out to the forest for some training, or to meet new people, so he started walking towards the village gates... On the way, he saw countless children, playing with their friends, and countless shinobi, who had faces that showed they were cursed with boredom... "As usual..." Nero thought as he arrived at the village gates, only to see the person he was most ashamed to see, Vretyel... Nero didn't know how look at him in the eyes, after what happened in the last mission they went together to... Hell, Nero'd rather see his monkey summon instead of him... Anyway, Nero realised that there was another shinobi that Vretyel was talking to... Vretyel wouldn't have seen it even if he looked at Nero, but his left shoulder and the left half of his chest and back was wrapped with bandages after being hit by Vret that heavily...

Still, Nero had to go there and at least talk to him... He coıuldn't just avoid running into Vret for the rest of his life, he was another Leaf shinobi after all, it was nearly impossible... So, Nero, thinking if he'd regret this move of himself, walked towards the two shinobi... After entering a range where Vret would absolutely see him, he waved and said "Hi, Vret...", he then turned to the other ninja, "And hi you, Nero Yamaki of the Leaf"... Nero put his hand between them, trying to shake the ninja's hand, "What are you two up to ?"... Nero was speaking very silently for his usual voice, he was still ashamed to be talking to Vretyel this easily...

Normally Taro may have sat there and continued to poke fun at Vretyel for a while, but what Vretyel said next stopped him in his tracks. Of course he remembered where the camp was. Plus this seemed like the perfect opportunity to get really test out one of his most powerful wood release techniques. So instead of continuing in his amused tone Taro took on a more serious one: "Yeah I know the place. We should probably get going right away." Taro knew that this was not a time to ask questions after all time was of the essence-who knew what those missing ninja were doing with that information. "Follow m--" Taro was interrupted by the approach of a soft spoken boy who introduced himself as Nero Yamaki. Taro curtly shook Nero's hand. "The name is Taro Senju and not to be impose on you, but would you mind helping us? Vretyel here saw a thief make away with some documents from the Hokage's office. We were about to give chase when you showed up."

At this point Taro turned and started off at a swift pace in the direction of the camp. He hoped that the other two were following him closely, because it was very easy to get lost in these woods. Mean while Taro's mind was racing with thought, though truth be told strategy was a better word for it, it was impossible to tell how many people there would be at this camp so he had to be ready for anything.

"Hey Nero, I see you have made a fast recovery." Vretyel said as he looked at the boy. The last time the two of them met was during their last mission together, they had successfully destroyed the camp and killed the Bandits there, the only problem was that in the process, Vretyel's mother had been killed. He kept this information though, even to Nero who just knew that somebody precious to him had been killed in the process. Once the three of them were all caught up to speed on the situation, seeing that Vretyel was the youngest of the group, he decided that he would let the two other Jounin lead this mission. Although Vretyel could have led just fine leading the mission, it was not in his nature to lead something where he had no authority to do just yet.

"Alright, a three man Jounin team, this mission is going to be a piece of cake to achieve!"

Presumably the three of them followed Taro to the location of the camp. It was close to the location that the three were at before so it was easy for them to get to the camp with relative efficiency. Now he would wait for one of the other two to give the orders about what to do in the situation. When he got to the camp, one thing was clear. The item that the thief took was a scroll. There were three ninja inside the camp, the thief, another missing ninja, a bodyguard of sorts, and then another missing ninja of considerable strength, holding the scroll in his hands. What was he doing with it? Why was this scroll so important to him anyways? Vretyel did not know these answers, the only thing that he did know was that the three of them had to get it back no matter what.

Nero listened to Vretyel and the other ninja named Taro, who was told to be a jounin, speaking about the mission. "Allright." he thought, that is a good way to use my time...". He then, like Vretyel followed the Jounin he has just met to the location where they were going to find the documents stolen from the Hokage's office... "Strange..." he thought "Hokage's office was being guarded by an ANBU member the last time I went there... And also, shouldn't the Hokage be inside the office... And I believe he is stronger then pretty much everybody in the village... So if he couldn't stop him, how are we going to ? And even if the Hokage wasn't in there, shouldn't someone be in there, taking the place of the Hokage while he is gone ? Anyway... There is a mission and I'm going to do it... I shouldn't overthink it and act as I should...".

They were still moving towards the camp when Nero started talking "So, Taro... You said you were from the Senju clan, right ? I always wanted to ask if there is still something between the Senju and the Uchiha clan ? Even the slightest disagreement...". Nero would ask that question just to pass the time, but he was waiting Taro's answer excitedly. He was also wondering how he met Vretyel, but he was more concentrated on the mission or the things happening in the ninja world than the bond between the boy and the senju... This time, he wasn't going to act like he did on the last mission he went with Vret. In fact, he would act after the two did...

As Taro ran the trees started to blur together. Each one looked like the last until finally Taro almost admitted he was lost, but by some quirk of luck or profound skill Taro found the trail again. As he ran he heard Nero ask about the relationship between the Senju and the Uchiha clan. This caused Taro to shoot a dark glance at Nero. At best the relationship between the two clans was neutral, but Taro harbored a certain special hate for the Uchiha clan. He had watched as a group of Uchiha thugs brutally assaulted and murdered his mother leaving him an orphan. As such Taro replied with a fair bit of venom and malice in his now hiss like voice: "To put it simply the two clans are not on the best of terms." Taro recalled how a Senju had brought destruction on the leaf village before and no doubt helped to kindle the fire of hate between the clans even further.


Finally after running for what felt like an eternity, but was in fact merely twenty minutes the group of three shinobi approached the camp. Taro took stock of the situation-this was no time to be rash, but he felt that he had the perfect jutsu to take down the camp efficiently and safely. Wordlessly he signaled for the other two shinobi to put on a mask if they had it. Taro himself pulled his multi-weave mask over his face. He then clapped together the snake hand sign and brought on the jutsu known as the advent of a world of flowering trees. A large tree would quickly grow in in center of the camp and release its pollen. The pollen instantly knocked out the thief and one missing ninja. Though it did not have the same effect on the bodyguard and the man holding the scroll. Instead of passing out they were only slightly disoriented and tipsy-they probably had a better constitution than the other two. With that done Taro signaled to the other two to sweep in and finish them off. While Taro himself remained back so he could deal with any threats that may arise from afar with his wood release.

Vretyel and the other two ninja had arrived to the scene of the camp, Taro had used one of his Wood style jutsu to cover the entire area with trees and pollen, thankfully, since Vretyel did not have a mask to cover his face was able to resist the effects of the Pollen by his amazing heath and strength, though still a bit disoriented from the attack. Vretyel would be able to still focus and concentrate, but due to the pollen he had sneezed and coughed a bit. When the two guards were down, Vretyel decided that given his comrades abilities, he would then run up to bodyguard and attack him with his staff, infused with his lighting chakra, and did a sweep to the mans Center. He would aim his staff perfectly so that the man went flying into one of Taro's trees with a branch sticking out of it, meaning that he would be impaled by the tree in the heart, almost kill instantly.

This was all assuming that the man was still there, Neros speed could probably get there faster than Vretyel. Even if the other man was still there when Vreytel landed he would take out his Kunai and stab the thief and the other missing ninja in the head, killing with speed and accuracy as they were both unconscious. Then given that all the other tasks were completed and the other ninja wer dead, Vretyel would point his staff to the leader, with one conductor only an inch from his face.

"Hand over the scroll." Vretyel would then say.

Nero wasn't suprised to hear Taro say the Senju and the Uchiha clans were not on the best of terms. But he was suprised when Taro looked at him with a scary glance before answering the question... Then after their arrival at the camp, Nero listened to Taro's words, covering his face by pulling his multi-weave mask over his nose and mouth. Then he saw pretty much the most amazing, most suprising technique he had ever seen or heard of... The place was now filled with polens, not to say the lanscape itself has changed with the amazing use of the wood release "What an amazing Kekkei Genkai..." Nero thought "And I thought flying was something cool... It is true that flight is freedom, but this... This, is life... This is not just some bloodline you get from your ancestors... This... This is a true gift... A true technique...".

Nero, after getting his concentration finally back on the mission, has realised that Taro's technique has already knocked out two of the thugs, bandits, or missing ninjas. And he realised that the ones left standing were not in a good shape, a little "disoriented", probably because of the effects of Taro's technique... Nero was suprised that Vretyel was standing so close to Taro, who was the origin of the jutsu used, and wasn't effected by it that much... Nero then watched as Vretyel took care of the bodyguard, faced the other one and said "Hand over the scroll.".

Nero thought it was his time to get on the stage. He, although the others wouldn't have seen or understood it) activated his Blessing Of The Wind God technique. He manipulated wind to shape an arrow, and sent it straight towards the man holding a scroll inhis hands, who was facing Vretyel. The arrow pierced through his head. He didn't dodge it since his concentration was on Vretyel, he was already feeling bad because of Taro's jutsu, and he was also pretty confused since the camp got messed up in mere seconds. The scroll would fall down to the ground, as the body of the man would fall down to the other way. Seconds later, the ground would be covered in blood around the dead body, as Nero spoke to Vretyel "You might want to grab the scroll before the blood touches it...".
