What a nice day for training [open, nk]

[OCC: it's my turn and then yours Mez :)]

Still running towards him, Itami saw the kunai struck Nakara but a moment later, in a puff of smoke, Nakara turned into a log. 'So he used substitution' Itami thought and turned around to see where Nakara would appear. He spotted him far back, behind him.

Just then, Itami saw a glimpse of red hair and Mezurashii apeared somewhat infront of him.
She threw something at Nakara and Itami watched as he deflected the paper bomb kunai with his wires so it exploded in the air. The fact that this was a spar made Itami wonder just how far were they allowed to go. He usually didn't hold back but still.
Upon hearing what Nakara said, Itami smirked. He was quite proud of his skills. As an academy student he couldn't practice much jutsu so he focused hard on making his body fast and strong.
As Nakara dashed towards Mezurashii, Itami picked up his kunai that was stuck in the log, and twirled it in his hand. In a second though, he jumped back as he felt sudden pain on his arm. The kunai Nakara threw didn't struck him but grazed his arm a little, and tiny beads of blood were comming out of the scrape. Itami coudn't believe he didn't notice the kunai.
He gritted his teeth, letting his emotions get to him. He ran fast towards Mezurashii and Nakara who were now in close combat. He moved around so he was to the side of both and aimed a low kick at Nakara and then turned to make a low punch at Mezurashii's back.

Mezurashii didn't bother to block the kick to her shoulder, she already had a plan. Before Nakara could get out of reach she grabbed his ankle, twisting so she was facing the earth Mezurashii pulled on the boy's limb and hammered him into the ground.

Not a moment later Mezurashii pulled on the wire she was holding to pull her out of any immediate danger, though her ankle was on the receiving end of one of Itami's punches.

Mezurashii hissed in pain, that was the same ankle that got hurt during her repairs mission. As the redhead landed she stayed low to the ground as pain throbbed in her ankle, hopefully they wouldn't notice, she wanted to fight a little more but she knew she would have to stop soon unless she wanted to visit that white hell again.

Nakara was having to much fun and they were making this spar even better. As his foot came down onto her shoulder, he would be surprised when she grabbed his ankle and slammed him onto the ground. He would have no simple way to counter until his body was almost to the ground his would use his hands to stop his back from hitting the ground, leaving him in a chair like position. Looking around for where Mezurashii went he would see Itami coming for him with a kick. Grinning Nakara would use his hands and left foot to spring himself backwards into a flip barely dodging the kick as it grazed his side. Once Nakara was in the air he would use his momentun to bring his right fist to Itami's chest and in one fluent motion bring his right foot down on his right arm. After these two attacks connected Nakara would springboard off of Itami and land 5 meters to the right of him, taking a deep breath," i have to admit i am starting to like you two," as he readied himself for another attack.

Feeling his fist collide with Mezurashii's leg, Itami smirked and pulled back. He saw Nakara on the floor and a moment later, he sprung himself up again. Prepared, Itami saw the fist comming and swiftly blocked it with his left hand and then ducked to evade the kick. It still hit him though, in his right shoulder and Itami, getting quite rilled up, pushed himself up again and charged towards Nakara who was breathing hard. Reaching him, Itami pulled back his right arm who was still throbing, and prepared for a punch directly in the face. He hoped he'd get a hit. If that punch failed, Itami had the next one ready, to Nakara's stomach with his left hand. After that, he would duck down and try to get Nakara off his feet by sweeping his left leg over the ground where Nakara was standing. Twirling around, Itami caught a glimpse of Mezurashii who was still in the previous spot, but he was too quick to see what she was doing. He was already facing Nakara again and he put his right hand infront of him diagonally, holding the kunai in it, and ready to block any attacks. Keeping his eyes focused on his peripheral vision he watched out for any attacks Mezurashii would commence.

Mezurashii tried to stand properly but her ankle kept buckling, sighing she knew she would have to throw in the towel, as much as she hated the idea. This spar was so much fun!

"Guys, I can't fight any more, I've hurt my ankle too much" she called, sitting back down. she pulled out one of my three storage scrolls, opening it she tapped it twice with chakra laced fingertips and a roll of bandages popped out. with that she began to wrap her ankle.

"Just so you know Nakara, that tag was just a distraction, I was never going to detonate it" Mezurashii added, most of her attention now on her ankle.

At this point Nakara was getting a bit tired so he wanted to end this as soon as possible. With Itami's attack he intended to do just that. As Itami's right fist came to Nakara's face. he would block it with his right hand putting him into a lock as his other attack hit his stomach, thankfully Nakara flexed the muscles in his stomach to soften the damage, although he still felt it. From there he would filp Itami over him and when his body was almost to the ground, Nakara would kick him in the side sending him back.

Nakara would run his stomach exhaling," damn that punch had some power behind it," as he looked over to Mezurashii and heard her speak," "Guys, I can't fight any more, I've hurt my ankle too much," Nakara would backflip over to her to help her out the best he could," wish you told me that you were hurt sooner, but hopefully you are okay," as he sat down and looked at her.

He would listen to her comment and smile," well you can never be to careful, well at least that is what i was taught," scratching his black hair. He would signal Itami to come over and sit down with them as he continued to talk to her," say when you guys become genin do you guys want to start a team, i think we can be the best team in Konoha..if we keep training," as he handed Mezurashii her Kunai back.

The punch to Nakara's face was blocked as Itami predicted, but the other one hit the spot and Itami could hear a gust of breath leave Nakara's mouth at the impact. A second later he was flipped over and he blinked in surprise although he didn't have much time as he was already flying backwards from the impact of Nakara's kick. Itami landed on his side, panting and clutching his sides where he hurt. Even though he was tired and hurt, he didn't want to just give up so he stood up again, preparing to attack but Nakara just casually walked over to Mezurashii and crouched down next to her when he heard her words. Itami's mind cleared and he didn't feel the need to continue the fight anymore. He relaxed a bit, breathing in and out to regain his composure. Then he got up and walked over to the other two, looking at Mezurashii who already tended to her hurt ankle.
Itami crouched next to them and listened to Nakara. He thought for a moment and then replied:
"It is not our decision who we want in our team. We will have to see how the sensei distrubutes us according to our skill and other important factors. As far as I know, they want to divide the power so each team is the about same amount of skill as the other. Us three being pretty good at this, if i do say so myself, would probably not be in the same team. But you never know. We'll see how they choose."
Itami looked over their heads to the forest, thinking about the possibilities. He smiled inwardly. This was probably the longest few sentences he spoke in a while.

Mezurashii grinned sheepishly "sorry, just didn't expect it I suppose, and I wanted to fight a little more" she huffed but smiled as she stood up, albeit shakily.

"I don't want to go to the hospital but home is too far away" she sighed "white hell it is then" she muttered, she looked up to see her friends looking at her.

"Thanks for the spar but I better be getting to the hospital, you can come along if you want" Mezurashii smiled kindly at them before turning around and limping away, trying not to pay attention to the hushed whispers that came from their audience form the spar.

Somehow Nakara felt as if he made two new friends through sparring although he was not going to admit it, he would stand up and look to the sky as he smiled," sure i will walk with you to the hospital, besides i would not feel right if something were to happen," as he looked to her and smiled. The wind would blow moving his sleeves and hair along with it gently as he turned to Itami," Although that is true about the teams i believe that something will happen to put us all on the same squad. Call it a good hunch, well more of a premonition," As he looked back to the sky, a subtle smile clinging to his face as he walked with Mezurashii to the hosptial he could not help but wonder what the future lies in for the young Genin and his new friends.
