Her Challenge, Her Examination, Her Career

Ana dashed into the Ninja Academy, and without further ado she signed her name on the sheet at the empty receptionist's desk within the attendance office. From there she dashed up the finely cleansed wooden walls, sprinting up the stairs and running to class 2-C. She'd signed up for a Genin Examination on a Saturday, so staff were the only people that were probably there. Her hair was tied into a loose, lazily done pony tail, along with a mesh short sleeve shirt below a white zipped up hoodie and a pair of baggy, navy blue jeans, as well as a pair of simple shoes.

She leaned up against one of the counters, looking at the abandoned handouts on handsigns and stuff that she'd learned in the past. It certainly brought back memories, but she wouldn't let herself be dragged into reverie. Today was today, and present was present. Today was the day she'd become a Genin. While waiting, she reviewed the Clone Technique and the Transformation Technique, ensuring she understood the techniques to the best of her ability.

The sound of gentle wind rushed through the hallways, increasing in volume as it seemed to approach the room the young academy student stood in. It was calming, almost serene.... except for the realization that wind belonged no where near the inside of a structure. The windows were shut tight and the long winding hallways of the academy left this particular room quite a distance from where a draft would make it. Quickly the sound increased until it was like to a great dragon's roar and then, all at once a flood of white papers poured into the room. Hisano's body built up quickly, sheet upon sheet forming the girl's body, stacking and wrapping up until finally she stood, stark white for a brief moment before the young yamanaka. The final sheets added her standard coloring, giving a glimpse of soft blue before the long black cloak hid her features once more.

"Hello. I take it you're here for the exam then. Execute the two academy jutsus properly and we'll see if you're worthy of the right to ascend into the next level of your journey as a ninja. " Her face was stern and her voice similar, no suggestion of kindness or leniency in tone or stance as she stood, arms crossed watching the girl.

Ana nodded silently, quite impressed by Hisano's appearance. This only gave her more motivation to give this examination her all, since she eventually would've wanted to do something like that, had she not originally made plans to be a medical shinobi. The platinum haired Yamanaka approached the front and center of the room which was vacant with the exception of her and Hisano's figures. The girl blew a few long strands of hair out of her face and extending her legs out, buckling her knees slightly. She took in one deep breath and exhaled, then began to contort handsigns at a rate basic for an academy student. There was nothing special about her, other than the fact that she was extremely stubborn, but she hid this under a shell of shyness. She formed the three seals necessary for the Clone Technique at a quick pacing, in under two seconds. Ram → Snake → Tiger Ana thought to herself, relaying the handseals she formed with her thin, pale fingers.

"Clone Technique!" The Yamanaka exclaimed, clasping her hands together in one fell swoop. On cue, a plume of smoke on either side of her appeared. When the smoke distanced itself, the contours of a shadow within the thick gas turned out to be a perfect copy of her. Both clones were created with a perfect balance of chakra, and thus they weren't overly energetic, or dead-looking. Ana allowed her breathing to slow down tn it's normal rate, and she calmed herself by placing a hand to the center of her chest. After stopping for a two moments she formed a single handseal and dispelled the Clone Technique. Her chakra was still running, and she felt no signs of dizziness or unrelenting exhaustion, and thus she moved onward with her efforts.

For the Transformation Technique, she had to think of what she would transform into. She was not planning on transforming into the proctor, so what else? The girl quickly allowed her thoughts to run wild. She allowed a nearly inaudible sigh to escape from her thin pinked lips. This technique isn't my forte...but I'll try my best! she thought to herself with a confident smile. Afterward, she contorted the handseals while repeating them out loud. "Dog.." She formed the handseal with relative ease, not allowing her clammy fingers to mess up her performance. She proceeded onto the next handseal in under a second. "Boar.." Her hands struggled a bit but none the less she still formed the handseal, as hard as it was for her to do such. She had to hurry up and think of who she'd transform into before she finished the third handseal, or else the technique would prove a failure. The Yamanaka used all of her mental thought capacity to come up with a conclusion in the fifty milli seconds remaining. The guy who trained her.

She imagined a male with long, spikey, somewhat curly hair that flowed down to the nape of his neck and stopped there. He wore a black leather mask, as well as a lazy yet determined, and carefree look on his face. His eyes were endless abysses that reflected upon what very few emotions he expressed from his handsome visage. The platinum haired individual thought about his thin body made up of lean muscle, astonishing herself by how much she remembered him. Now wasn't the time for astonishing herself so she went onward, while having fifty milli seconds remaining. As slow as this is, she thought all of this in under a second. When she saw him he was wearing a baggy black, long sleeve jacket with white cuffs. He had a puffy white wool scarf wrapped around his neck, and he wore black suede shoes, with pants matching his shoes and his jacket. A perfect image of Isshin Uchiha was crafted into memories she held onto til the day she'd die. "Ram.." She uttered, and the half second remaining was over.

A plume of grayish-white smoke emerged around her figure, and when it vanished she was transformed into a he, with short, black, spikey and slightly curly hair. A mask covered the transformation's nose and mouth, but the outline of a smile was evident. A lazy gaze took the expression of the abysses that were defined as the transformation's eyes. A fair-skinned young male with a build consisting of lean muscle, wearing winter-like clothing, had replaced Ana's area. Ana couldn't think of where to put the hands of her transformed self at, so she slid the thumbs into the pockets to the jacket, while the rest of the transformation's hands hung outside of the pocket. She lifted the transformation's hands together, clasping the palms together after arching the arms. A plume of smoke emerged around her again, but this time when it dissipated it was her. Ana stood there, her hands clasped together. She tapped her fingers together sheepishly, hoping that she wouldn't fail. She hoped and prayed that she wouldn't be considered the black sheep of her family.

Unlike before, the platinum haired, bashful individual would hate to take on that role, when initially, the little girl she'd grown out of would have accepted anything to be considered one of the prestigious Yamanaka. That was not her. With her classmates and the other people around her Ana had grown into a fine individual, and she wouldn't stop growing yet, whether physically or mentally. Ana knew for a fact that she wouldn't be her family's verbal rag doll anymore. She would be Ana. She would not be just Ana, but she would be Ana Yamanaka. The shinobi.

She let out a heavy disappointed sigh, her head turning left to right in disappointment the moment she finally finished the tasks given to her. Beneath the covering her lips curled into a smile, though hidden from her view.

"how... Unfortunate. If you think that's sufficient to progress in this village... If a performance such as this were the expectation held by the Hokage do you know what that would make us?" Pausing she counted down from ten in her head, allowing the girl a chance to freak out in the event she took the girl seriously, and then she allowed the hood fo fall from her face, long wavy blue hair feathering out to frame her face, and more importantly the grin across her lips from ear to ear. "It would make us a powerful village. Congradulations. Head to the Hokage's office for your headband and welcome to the ranks of genin. " With that her body would split once more, the paper flowing out of the room and off into the distance as quickly as it'd appeared.
